Time didn't stop for Nu, as she watched the battles unfold as she laid there. Nodding to Lee for her future scolding she watches as attacks from Arian seem to come for both her and Elisia, only to have the attack blocked and countered by Lee once again, his disdain for the man clear as day. Just then, it seemed Elisia thought she was caring about the others, and while it was somewhat true, she wasn't the type to open herself to everyone just like that. "Humph, stay if ya wish....." Just then, Arian seemed ready to attack again as he threw another monstrous ball of earth, this time at Lee, who added two cero into the mix to finish him, or so he thought. Before she could raise her voice in warning, she was visited by the one person she did not want to see. He was missing an arm, and seemed to sadistically tease Nu on it as his blood was soaking on top of her, Nu fighting the urge to make another foolish move. About to shrug him off, he dissapeared, this time appearing in front of her, his disgusting nub was the medium this time to charge up his black cero.

It happened in slow motion in her eyes as she fell to the ground, Eliasia pushing her unto the ground in an attempt to lessen the initial blast. The cero burst forth, only for it to be canceled out by someone's enkosen. Judging by the strength of Ori, the kido had to belong to Yuki. Looking up in an attempt to spot her, her eyes had to scan the battlefield to find her now in front of her brother, trying to wake up the unconscious man. She looked distressed from what she could tell, and when Elisia left to check up on her, she looked shocked as well, something was wrong. Suddenly, she heard the initial attack of the Kurohitsugi, as well as noticing a sudden shift. She could not place it, but felt as though the ari was somehow heavier, different from Hei's reiatsu....more prominent. Ori already released in an attempt to break away the deadly kido, but finally noticed what Nu was just beginning to see; a black hole, compliments of Tsukiko. Despite it consuming an arm, Ori not only escaped, already healing to perfection, but began his counterattack, as he attacked Tsukiko with a wide beam of light, tried to behead Hideki, and attack Elisia with a Cero.

Just when she waited for the worst, it seemed the shinigami were fighting back, starting to Nanashi. While she didn't know him that well, she watched as he went up to Ciel, mumble some things she could not understand because of distance, and run into the black hole, his final message would go down in the archives, honoring him as a hero. The next was Ciel himself, already writing in words inside his unique book, closing it, and began his offensive. With speed that surprised the Captain, as he was known for his brain, he attacked the monstrosity head on, though he seemed different somehow. Looking up, she sat up and tried to console Suzume to the best of her ability, even in the battlefield, it was fine to mourn. Tsukiko had her own way of dealing with things as she separated Ciel and Ori, while her body was covered in her bankai's cloak, bits of her inner metallic features were showing, though she seemed to be fine as she fired an impressive lazer, causing a contained explosion in Ori's barrier, thanks to her abilities. Head arched, she watched as she too went to her parent's side, conversing on something. Head turning again back to Lee, he seemed to be doing fine, as in a blink of an eye, the attacks all rushing at him seemed to flip and aim at Arian now, though Lee's sudden collapse already made her take a step to him.

Suddenly, columns of fire burst forth from the ground, Yuki message to retreat was a smart one to say the least. Using the limited energy she had left, she opened a senkaimon and motioned for Suzume to get inside, her head tilted to Lee. "Suzume, go, I'll be right there.." Using a shunpo, she lifts Lee up with her good arm, slinging the man over her shoulder as she used another shunpo to appear by her own gateway. Looking at Arian one last time, she stepped through, their safety now secured, for the time being.

[Just a big 'ol recap on stuff I haven't posted responses to ^^;

Watching as her Captain fell after using two high-level Kido, Suzume gritted her teeth, waiting to interfere. However, she knew not to interfere, as her Captain had already sent a message, saying that this was a battle of pride. Pride was something that she could understand and while she wanted to help him, she merely stayed out of it. The tears, which she had cried when Nanashi left, had dried up and she forced herself not to think of that. Sorrow was not an emotion for the battlefield, however much it was needed. Now, since Lee was unconscious, she doubted that his message counted the same as before and she leapt forward. Suddenly stopping because of the wall of fire, she acknowledged Yuki’s message, knowing that they didn’t have much time left before their forces were decimated. Out of the corner of her eyes, she spotted Eriko’s unconscious body. That was where the Captain had gone! Seeing that Nu had gone to attend to Lee, Suzume herself darted off to lift the girl Captain and put her over one shoulder. Sora, also, as she suddenly recalled, was unconscious and pulling an irritated face, she went off to retrieve him as well, holding his unconscious body over her other shoulder. Burdened by two other weights, she shunpo’ed over to the Senkaimon, entering it.

⋆⋆⋆ HAKASE xELISIA
yonbantaixTAICHO

Elisia could do nothing but stare at Yuki as the woman begged her not to say anything. However, a few seconds later, she picked herself up out of her dazed state, before nodding to Yuki and answered in a strained voice barely above a whisper,
“I understand, Sotaichō, I won’t tell anyone at all.” She barely realized that Nanashi had sent the telepathic message, not until her sister screamed something. Jerking her head upwards, she was just in time to be able to see him being sucked in the black hole. Yet another of them was lost. While she did not know him very well herself, the loss of any Shinigami to anything was heart-wrenching in itself. Half-distracted by his disappearance, she noticed a short while later that the attacks which had been heading their way, were no longer there and instead, Ciel, a Lieutenant, was trying to take on Ori himself. She had to admit that while he was extremely brave for doing something like that, they were fast running out of options and choices.

Seeing that another person had joined the battle as well, she looked at the person in confusion for a bit, before realizing who that Shinigami was. Tsukiko. “Tsuki…no…” she gasped, her hands flying up to her mouth as she took in the battered and obviously damaged appearance of her wife. A low growl issued out of her as all the anxiety and stress she had been feeling through the entire day culminated into one massive ball of rage. Nu’s missing arm and state of mind, her sister coming near to death, Tsuki’s injuries, their ruined wedding, Hei’s unconscious state, Yuki’s shock pregnancy, Nanashi’s disappearance and now Lee’s unconscious state as well – all these ran through her mind as she struggled to deal with the emotions that rose up in her. Unable to hold it in any longer, especially since she had a feeling that Tsukiko would be aching rather badly over her mother, her father and Nanashi, who was a friend of Tsuki’s, she materialized a zanpakuto in her hand, taking several steps forward towards Ori, all prepared to fight despite the fact that she was not at her full power, as her fury took control of her.

However, a split-second later, her reckless plan was thwarted by a sudden column of fire that sprung up. Hurriedly jumping back, she searched for the source, only to hear Yuki’s message in her mind. They were leaving? The logical side of her almost immediately agreed, since it would be impossible to fight for any longer with their numbers, while her emotional side argued that they should at least attempt to avenge all the injuries and wounds that had been dealt by the Sephira to the Shnigami. Nevertheless, she shattered her zanpakuto like before, not cancelling her Bankai yet although she knew that they had lost the battle. There was some sense of stung pride in there, but it would be better to run now, rather than simply be picked off one by one until they all died. Shifting next to her father-in-law’s side, she lifted him up, carefully adjusting her weight as she slung him over one shoulder. It took her no time at all to reach the Senkaimon that Yuki had opened up, but she hesitated briefly before she left, unsure of whether or not she should stay back and make sure that Yuki herself was alright, along with the others. Her duty, however, was to tend to the injured and there were going to be plenty of them wherever they were going. Inclining her head to Yuki, she told the woman, “He’ll be fine with me, but Sotaichō, look after yourself.” With that said, she stepped into the Senkaimon, heading out to wherever they were going to end up.

Get it out of my face

Ori had gained some level of surprise from Ciel's sudden appearance between Ori and his current 'prey'. Ori's face turned to a scowl as his Resurrección was suddenly dissipating from his grasp. He had not one clue as to what this was anymore, but the sheer loss in the feeling of power was enough to hint at a better form. To make things worse, the Întuneric Zero, that was forming in front of his finger, had been wrapped by some Roman letters before exploding into Ori's face. His body would be thrown backwards before Ciel would reappear in front of him with his elbow in Ori's chest. With his augmented power, Ori felt as though his sternum had broken, causing his face to show nothing but pain while he spit up a small bit of blood. The Zero had caused the skin on Ori's face to burn, and, oddly, in one place his skin had completely been ripped off at his cheek, showing his molars and canines. With this new addition to his features, the scowl on his face as he was moving back with Ciel was immensely greater than it normally would have seemed.

Moving to counter, Ori would grasp Ciel's elbow with his right hand and the clothing around Ciel's shoulder with his left hand, lifting him up and over Ori's own shoulder, so Ciel's head was facing down behind Ori. Throwing him down, Ori re-grasped him between his knees, around Ciel's neck. Pushing backwards, Ori would move his legs, and Ciel, up and over him before he would grasp the ground with his hands and snap his hips forwards, aiming to drive Ciel's head into the ground yelling, "You ******** insect!"

As Ciel's head would make some nice contact with the group, Ori
would be gone and above the area instantaneously with his fist balled. "Glonţ salvă!" Throwing his fist forward, Ori would rain down a volley of his sharp, pointed black Bala onto the area where Ciel would land. Around this time, Ori's body would be forced into one direction and then against another force, being held between some invisible power. His eyes moved immediately to Tsukiko. With a scowl and his cheek beginning to regenerate with small threads of muscle tissue forming, Ori hoarsely spoke, "You piece of scrap metal. I should have degraded your chassis when I first saw you!" The insane and insecure side of Ori was coming through after his power was taken from him. His composure was gone. Upon saying his spiteful bite at Tsukiko, her laser would be upon him, burning his skin yet again, and revealing a bloodied face with his bone showing. Parts of his collar bone were also visible from the parts of his clothing had been blown off.

"All of you. All of you will die!" Ori broke free from the field that bound him and rushed forwards to Tsukiko, his right hand balled to a fist and pulled back. Just as he was upon her, and he would shoot his fist forward, a rush of fire would ensconce Tsukiko, utterly cremating Ori's right arm to the elbow before he could stop his momentum with a foot and a yell of pain. Watching as each of them left in file on orders, Ori simply mouthed 'I will find you... His arm had begun to regrow as well, and his Zanpakutō had begun to creep its way back onto the said arm, returning to its armor like form. Ori had been greatly disappointed with the performance of both he and his subordinates, more so of his subordinates, as he had just woken up. They had many forces, and they all became bested. This irritated him to no end. He vowed that it would not happen again.

Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody?

═══════════════════════╕››››››››››››

Kyoketsuki felt himself forced to lay flat on his back as Tetsu’s bakudo held him in place, but that didn’t cease his attempts to struggle against Kyo for control of their body. He could feel himself slipping though. He wasn’t sure where from, but Kyo had far more willpower than usual and was slowly but surely beginning to overpower him. It was only a matter of time before he was forced back to the recesses of Kyo’s inner world. “No! No, damnit! I don’t want to go back! I…don’t…want…AHHHHH!”

There was a massive burst of Reiatsu with that final scream and Kyo transformed completely back to normal. He lay there for a moment looking up at the sky. He could hear his inner vampire screaming from the depths of his mind, but the voice was fading out as Kyo used his willpower to force his inner demon back where he belonged. Finally, Kyo let out a sigh. “Tetsu, would you mind letting me up?” he asked with a not at all subtle tinge of sadness in his voice. Even though he was frozen within his inner world during the events, once he was awaked, Kyo became all too aware of what his inner vampire had done. So many lives lost all because of his failure. Yuki’s call for a retreat further increased Kyo’s despair as he couldn’t help but wonder if the battle would have gone differently if he wasn’t killing his own allies. He closed his eyes and fought back tears as he thought of the subordinates he’d killed. He may have been hard on them, but it was because he felt that the best way to protect the Division he so cared about was to prepare them for anything. Sadly they weren’t prepared for him losing control of Kyoketsuki to this extent and it cost them their lives. The Hachibantai was decimated, leaving him alone, and a large portion of the Yonbantai had met their end at his hands as well. He had become one of the monsters that he swore to protect the Seireitei against.

Enjoy it, for surely it is the last thing you will ever hear.

Without the ability to convey her emotions through facial expression, Tsukiko merely stared in Ori's direction as he came at her. She didn't have the capacity for fear at the moment, only anger and sadness towards the situation at hand, and as such, she was not going to bother running away. However, she did not desire to die, so she was ready to repel Ori at a second's notice with a powerful field of gravity if it came to that. However, Yuki saved her the trouble of doing so by surrounding her with flames that burned Ori's arm away in a half-second. Turning her head, a motion that was made alongside a soft mechanical grinding, Tsukiko lifted her left arm and popped upon a part of her casing, revealing a panel built into her chassis with several flattened buttons and a small, long but narrow screen stretch across the top. With the push of a button, the screen across her arm flashed green letters that read "RECEIVING LAB INFORMATION", then displayed a rapidly rising number that indicated the percent of information that was being drawn into Tsukiko's internal database and compressing it for storage. It finished once the number reached 100%.

Another command later, "RECEIVING ARCHIVE INFORMATION" flashed across the screen, while a number next to it increased for a minute or two before also turning to 100%. Tsukiko then used her pointer finger's nail to slid open another panel revealing two failsafe buttons that were created for this exact situation; the inhabitance of their Soul Society by enemies. Granted, she never expected to use either of them, but she had at least been smart enough to create them as a part of a contingency for this very instance. By pressing the rightmost button, she caused more letters to appear, reading "CHARGING EMP". Setting the EMP to a timer, Tsukiko hit the leftmost button which brought up the words "PREPARING C4 EXPLOSIVES". With a mechanical sigh, the girl turned to face the Seireitei, then activated Tenteikuura. "This is a message to all residents of the Seireitei from the 12th Division Lieutenant. The Soul Society is lost. Please evacuate immediately to the nearest Senkaimon. We will regroup in the Human World post haste. All officers are to lead those not belonging to the Gotei to safety. Please move quickly, you do not have much time. That is all." Ending the connection, the Lieutenant quickly drew a Senkaimon and vanished within, the doors shutting behind her.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Given the fact that both he and Lee were nearing their limit in terms of stamina and fatigue, Arian continued to wonder exactly why the Captain had opted to revert back to Shikai. However, his question would soon find an answer as Lee used the two forbidden kido spells, Jikanteishi and Kukanteni, that manipulated time and space itself, but Arian was not aware of their abilities, as kido spells were a stranger to him. Nonetheless, he would soon feel the effect of the spells, his eyes widened in response to the sudden disappearance of not only his own attacks, but Lee’s attack as well. It was impossible for them to have nullified each other so completely that both were eradicated, thus the Sephira was bewildered by the turn of events.

Suddenly, his vision was filled by the reappearance of Lee’s water wave in front of him, and from behind him he could already feel the radiating heat that emanated from the Burst Shell covered earth, which he suspected was still being followed by his two Cero blasts. Relocation thought Arian as the two forces crashed down upon him, given their speed and unexpected redirection, Arian took the full brunt of the initial force of the attacks, before he was able to activate his Inferno ability to disintegrate them into ashes and vapor. However, it had already took a toll in his already depleting physical reservoirs, realizing that he had left himself wide open for another attack, Arian furrowed his brow in disappointment at himself just as he felt Lee’s final Bakudo spell snake around him, the seven black chains wrapped around him as Arian struggled against them, causing them to tighten.

Lifting his head back up, Arian caught sight of Lee as the Captain fell to the ground, most likely unconscious due to the amount of energy he had used, knowing full well that it would be the most opportune time to strike, Arian summoned every last bit of his inner strength in an attempt to break the Bakudo spell, but to no avail. The Sephira’s muscles bulged, the veins made themselves visible as the chains shook and rattled, but still continued to endure and tighten around the Sephira. Arian was adamant to see things through, but he was simply too weakened by the extensive fight between two Captains to break at least one of the chains. Looking on as a column of fire erupted from underneath Lee, isolating him in a similar manner as a Negacion would, Arian was forced to give up the fight. He had burnt away a Captain’s arm and managed to outlast another Captain’s assault, despite the fact that he was now incapacitated as well, Arian deemed it was the best he could hope for; he’d simply apologize to his superiors later.

With that several cracks began to form all around his red skin, like fractures in a glass. The cracks began to grow and soon enough manage to connect to each other, once enough of his skin’s surface area was covered in the hair-line fractures, Arian’s red hierro suddenly broke apart like shards of broken glass, revealing his seal form inside. His body sported several bruises, by products of the explosions of his Explosive Ash, as he slowly slipped into unconsciousness, he finally managed to smile and speak out ”Heh, so whatd’ya Sakuya? Guess I won.” he jested, referring to his previous bet with her. With that, Arian fell to the ground face first into the dirt as the chains continued to persist.

Sixth Division's Captain

"We're losing this fight." Tetsu murmured as he canceled his Bankai, his sword appearing in its sheath to his waist. Sakuzen Kosshi had fallen silent now, leaving Tetsunosuke to his own thoughts. He was turned away from Kyo as he watched the fights. This new Arrancar who had fused with Tomomi was frightening. Even with his Reiatsu output decreased, the image of the man just shot a chill up his spin. Nanashi fell well message had reached his inner thoughts. His selfless act was something that could have been remedied by Tsukiko, since it was her own attack. But either way, he hardly knew him, so only a sadness for Asami was felt, but he also barely knew her. A sudden circular wall of flame surrounded him and Kyo, he looked to Kyo as his inner vampire slowly lost its fight to Kyoshiro. He felt the heat of the flames as the turned to face his former lieutenant; as he looked down to Kyo, and heard his voice finally, the Bakudo was canceled, turning into Reishi. "Yeah... I'm not leaving until you do... nakama." Tetsunosuke said as he reached down a hand to help him up. His eyes were still slightly red, if one looked close enough, they could tell he was previously crying or holding back tears. A Senkaimon opened beside them as two Hell Butterflies fluttered out and awaited for them to step forward. The raging flames didn't seem to ward the spiritual insects away.

Feeling: B r o k e n ?
"Truth is simply a conception..."

Hideki could not help but deviate his attention from Neida to the overbearing force that fell upon him a few moments after he sensed someone, or thing, enter the Seireitei. Hideki had expected some reinforcements, a precaution he always took, but to bring in something with that much Reiatsu put out was impossible, unless it was that one man. Hideki would wind around as Ori dropped from the sky, coming from his knee as he did so, as Ori's Reiatsu caught him off guard, causing Hideki to fall to it. Hideki's thoughts were only confirmed with Aurelius's input of the whereabouts of Tomomi. Evidently, the knowledge of that fact proved to be far greater in impact than anything else that could have probably happened. Hideki had not known Tomomi personally, and could not sympathize with anyone present, and, though he was once Captain Commander, Hideki had no remorse nor empathy against Ori and with the captains. He was incredibly lax in this particular position and simply took what he was told as a small bit of information that he would now know and commit to memory.

Lifting his hand towards Neida as Tsukiko came, he was no longer worried about the Sephira. It was obvious that Neida was pushing herself far harder than he or Hibiki was, and with the intervention that Tsukiko so warmly created, Hideki could most certainly guarantee that she was going to loose the bout. Hideki became far more interested in Ori. The mans ego new no bounds, something that Hideki both liked and disliked. Cockiness was a trait found in many people, and something that could be picked at until they broke down into blind rage, making them an easy opponent; Ori was abundant of the stuff. Many thing happened that Hideki could not truly keep up with, though it was note-worthy: The failure of most moves made upon the other captains by Ori via Yuki, the failure on Neida's behalf, and then the new Tsukiko intervention in the bout between Yuki and Ori. This pegged Hideki the most, and was the last thing that really registered with him. The sound of her voice in his modified ears was full of a pitch that matched normal levels of stress or panic. Yuki panicking was something Hideki did not simply dabble upon, he took this incredibly serious. She was a powerful woman with confidence behind her power, for her to show panic was surly a terrible thing.

Tsukiko's 'ninja' black hole was incredibly well thought out in the area of tactic, and Hideki was glad to see that it was effective against Ori, albeit it was for only a few seconds. He had still lost an arm, which, in Hideki's book, counted for something. The next few movements were completely odd to Hideki. He did not, in the least, expect for Ori to come after himself, as Hideki was remotely detached from the main group of Shinigami around him. In hindsight, he would see that this actually made him easier to pick out. Whatever the case, Hideki was shocked to find Ori in front of him, with his arm headed towards his neck.

Quickly ducking, Hideki dodged it, but as he moved down, his chest was met with a knee, knocking the wind out of him and causing his eyes to close. In this moment of suspended 'reality' Hideki felt the familiar taste of blood in his mouth. The source of it was still unbeknown to Hideki until the pain actually hit. His chest flooded with pain, and when he went to take a breath to yell, Hideki's lungs let out a gurgle of noise as it's passageways were full of the crimson liquid that pulsed through his body. Hideki shoved backwards and held the hole within his chest, panting, a soft gurgle, much like a drain clearing, being ever present. His wound was leaking profusely onto the ground, blood pulsing out with every heart beat. Hideki's left eye was closed, his right eye barely open as he was physically fatigued. The only thing that surprised him was the sudden retreat that he knew had to happen now that the captains were heavily injured.

Stepping back as the pillar of fire erupted around his body, Hideki swung around, his blood popping and sizzling as it met the roaring flames. He would lift his left hand up and open a Senkaimon with a black Hell butterfly fluttering from it, meeting his left hand's index digit. Not stopping to look back, Hideki stepped through the gates and moved to the Realm of the Living, wondering just how long they were to stay in the location.

"Such is life." Ciel commented idly as he lay on the ground, seemingly unable to move as he hadn't done so in the last minute or two, despite having a path to safety available to him. Ori had thrown him into the ground, headfirst of all things, and there had been nothing he could have done to avoid this grisly fate. He breathed heavily as he motionlessly surveyed his injuries, though not so much surveyed as he grimaced at each "pocket" of pain scattered over his body. Ori's Bala had more or less filled his body with holes and caused significant enough damage to his body that he was close to death, causing his Zanpakutō to seal itself and come to rest in his hand in it's dagger form. There was no ignoring the significant internal pain he was experiencing and he had decided to focus all of his energy into drawing a Senkaimon and just getting inside.

Grunting, the Lieutenant gripped his Zanpakutō tightly and did his best to lift his hand and draw a Senkaimon as a Hell Butterfly floated beside him, assisting in the crossing between worlds so that he may not be subject to the precipice world. Finally, it opened, but Ciel had still not moved from his spot, but after what seemed like a lifetime of gathering his energy passed before he finally managed to get himself onto his feet and stumble into the Senkaimon. The connection to the human world was immediate, such that he found himself falling into an area within the Human World as soon as he disappeared from the Soul Society. It was there that he found himself face down in the middle of a sidewalk, lying in a rapidly widening pool of his own blood.

His glasses had cracked from the fall and his face was scuffed from the concrete. He did not appear concerned with this, however. It seemed that his last ditch effort to get himself away from the Soul Society had severed the thread he was hanging on to in order to stay alive, and he was well aware of this. "This is... goodbye." As he slowly slipped into death's sweet embrace, Ciel reveled in the fact that he had died due to wounds received in the line of duty, but not only that, but from wounds recieived while trying to protect someone. This was enough to send him to death in peace, and he died with a smile on his face.

ℒiterature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become.

[The whole death thing is obviously meant to happen in the Human World thread, but won't be actually posting it there since it would be too short. I'll mention it with Yuki later though.]

Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody?

═══════════════════════╕››››››››››››

Eyes still closed, Kyo smiled as he took Tetsu’s hand and got to his feet. He finally opened his eyes and looked Tetsu in the face. “Seems I’m still too predictable, Taicho.” He gave Tetsu a solemn smile as he said the statement he’d said many times while training as a member of the Rokubantai. He turned his back to Tetsu to watch Yuki’s wall of flame dance. Not only was he hiding his face from Tetsu, not wanting the man to see him in such a sad and pitiful state, but he was carefully studying the force behind the flames themselves. They appeared to be sustained by Yuki, meaning he couldn’t just douse them completely, but he could make a momentary tunnel through them with his powers. It should last just long enough for him to get through with a light toasting at the most. “You know I can’t leave this battlefield, Tetsu. I will hold the line for as long as I can while everyone else gets away. The Hachibantai and the Yonbantai suffered massive loss of life at my own hands. Indeed I fear my beloved Hachibantai is no more because I could not control this monster within me. I am a criminal my friend, a murderer. As one who lives to uphold justice, I accept that even I am not beyond its grasp. I am a mass murderer and must be dealt with as such.” Kyo paused momentarily to regain his composure before saying the next line that was weighing so heavily on his heart. “I have to die.” He turned his head so that he could see Tetsu in his peripheral vision. Kyo’s face was quite obviously stricken with grief and his eyes were unnaturally glossy betraying the tears that were trying to hide within them. “I know how crazy I sound, but if Hakase-sama has any sense of justice herself she’ll order my execution anyway. At least this way I get to die on the battlefield as a defender my comrades instead of being executed as a murderer of them.” Kyo turned away from Tetsu once more. “Goodbye Tetsu. You were my greatest friend in all of the Gotei 13.” Kyo then suddenly used is Ice Glaive and sent a wall of spikes that would force Tetsu to step back into his on senkaimon while simultaneously sending a line of the spikes through the flames. This created a temporary hole in the wall of fire through which Kyo shunpo’d.

He appeared on the other side with steam trailing off of him. “Hah, barely made it even with the concentrated ice from my bankai. The Captain-Commander is quite an exceptional woman. Speaking of which…” Kyo turned his attention to the hell butterfly which had followed him. “Give this message to the Captain-Commander: I, Kurihara Kyoshiro shall atone for my crimes against the Gotei 13 by giving my life on this battlefield to ensure that all remaining Shinigami escape safe and sound. I apologize for failing your trust in my ability to control my darker half.” The butterfly hovered for a moment then quickly flew off to relay Kyo’s message to Yuki. A disappointment to the very end. Mom and Dad were right about me. I really am worthless. Kyo smiled and sighed as he thought of how he had been a constant thorn in everyone’s side almost his entire life. “Well, time to get down to business.” With that he shupo’d away guarding any Shinigami he came across until they made their escape.

Sixth Division's Captain

Tetsunosuke easily lifted Kyo to his level, the taller Captain looked him in the face and began to speak. "Of course, Kurihara-kun. But I don't think any less of you." Tetsunosuke replied with smirk. After Tetsu had just finished, Kyo turned his back to him. A feeling of guilt and grief billowed up into Tetsunosuke gut and then throat. He felt responsible for Kyo's current predicaments; Tetsunosuke had brought Kyo up and out from where he had been.

Tetsunosuke had turned his head momentarily to look toward the Senkaimon, and the Hell Butterfly that was still flying around in the ring of fire. When Kyo started speaking, Tetsunosuke's head immediately snapped toward Kyo's direction. As the first word breached Kyo's lips, Tetsu's heart almost stopped. What he was saying was all true, Tetsunosuke could never deny it; and in the back of his mind, he knew this was how it was going to end; but he still could not accept the destiny Kyo had chosen for himself. Tetsunosuke looked to see his head turned, as if trying to act nonchalant about it or something. As Kyoshiro said goodbye, Tetsunosuke stretched his arm out and spoke as Kyo spoke, walking toward him, "NO! KYOSHIRO!" He said with clenched throat. The spikes almost seemed like they weren't enough to hold him back, one struck his raised left hand, causing a mild gash and diverting its trajectory. Tetsunosuke's legs seemed to involuntarily Shunpo away from the spikes, landing him next to the Senkaimon in a humbled position on his knees. He wordlessly created a Tenteikūra so he could bid Kyo good bye. "Kyo, you are my greatest friend as well. I'm sorry for the grief you feel. I won't revenge you... but I will bring Justice to your sacrifice." He stood slowly as he softly spoke the words as the hell butterfly flew about him. He started to walk into the Senkaimon with heavy feet. "You are a better man than me... Good Bye." As the last words escaped his mouth, the Japanese sliding doors closed behind him as he stood in the Dangai. Tears had worked their way to his face as he had took the back of his right hand to wipe them away. Tetsu took a few steps forward, heading to the Human world.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

After nodding to Elisia and seeing that she and Hei made it into the Senkaimon safely, Yuki turned her senses outward, dropping her focus on her own body and the life that was beginning to form inside her womb. With her senses combing the entire Seireitei, she was able to feel it as hundreds of body signatures began disappearing, meaning that they were able to escape. Even as those who participated in this fight started leaving, Yuki's anxiety remained ever present, steadily growing as each minute passed. One by one they vanished, all up until she could only feel two others remaining, and from their Reiryoku signatures, she recognized them as Kyoshiro, who had felt strange for the longest time, and Tetsunosuke. Realizing that Kyoshiro must have undergone some sort of transformation or shift in power due to his Vampire, she quickly deduced the reason for the frozen 8th Division Headquarters, as well as the feeling of large amounts of blood near that area. In the back of her mind, she had already decided that Kyoshiro would have to be executed for his sins, because she simply couldn't allow a murderer to run around in the Seireitei. Her thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of Kyoshiro moving away from the area and the sudden appearance of a Hell Butterfly that landed on her shoulder and conveyed Kyoshiro's message to her. "Very well.... I allow you to choose how you die..." Casting a solemn expression, Yuki waited until she felt Tetsunosuke's body signature leave this world, then did a quick sweep for any remaining Shinigami. Finding no one else, Yuki paused for a moment and wished for the well being of Nanashi, as she had doubts as to him being dead.

While keeping her right hand lightly pressed up against her stomach as if she were trying to lessen the weight of a heavy load, Yuki lifted her left hand and extended her index and middle fingers and created a softly glowing white line by running her fingers against air as though it were solid in itself. Almost immediately a pair of circular Japanese sliding doors appeared in front of her hand, opening quickly and bringing forth a bright white light. As the light began to dim, Yuki could make out the other side of the Senkaimon, also a pair of sliding doors that remained shut for the moment. Yuki hurriedly took a few steps into the Senkaimon and then, as if she had forgotten something, turned backwards to look out of it. Her Bankai quickly deactivated, her attire shifting back to the black half-shirt and biker shorts, also causing the raging flames to suddenly die out and dissipate into the air, allowing all to see her standing within the first few feet of the Senkaimon. As the sliding Japanese doors began to obscure her frame as they slid shut, albeit at a rather slow pace, almost as if she had slowed them down on purpose, Yuki looked dead into Ori's eyes. Her expression full of ferocity and her heart unwavering, she spoke her parting words to him, her last word coming just as the doors shut tight and faded into the air. "I know now that you are not a perfect hybrid, but a child with a God complex. He who stands closest to the sun will get burned."

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
And the storms their energy,
While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

As per Tsukiko's calculations, mere seconds after the last Seireitei resident had evacuated the Seireitei, which the exception of Kyoshiro, two very large explosions occurred within both the Labs and the Hakase estate, which completely obliterated everything within a mile-wide diameter of each of these locations. Afterward, two blast-proof EMPs that lay within the labs and the Archives both went off, sending out a wave of electromagnetic radiation that was jury rigged with a pulse of a recently created element, Solinium. Not only did the wave instantly turn off every piece of electronic equipment within the Seireitei walls, but it also erased the archives, the Lab's databases and any personal or work-related database within the Seireitei. Though it may have seemed like a useless action at the time, Tsukiko had done it so that her family's treasured belongings, the information stored within the labs, the experiments in the labs, and the Soul Society's history could not be touched by the likes of the Sephira.

Neida had just launched her Cero, it had seemed like Hibiki -the captain she was set on killing- had just launched his own attack in the nick of time. His bankai active Chakram nullified her Cero Oscuras a feat only possible due to her fatigued state. She cursed her weakness as the chakram was sent back and attack dissipated like glitter. Neida wasn't one to left her guard down easily, she was readied for the Lieutenant whom was with Hibiki to make his move; which the boy did. "This little one is fast." Her thoughts intruded as she glared out to him - her sight hidden by her mask. He was slicing at her with a pair of claws, to her surprise, the extended to cause her greater pain and cut her in half. The Gemelos Sonído gave way, and Neida was grasping her side, her Hierro was cut, but no wound on her body was visible. A sigh of relief came as she looked and saw that the two had retreated thanks to a wall of flames. She wanted to fight longer, but she knew it would be a death sentences to herself.

Neida canceled her Resurrección, all but one of the Shinigami had disappeared. To her, it seemed strange that they one Shinigami behind to act as a scape goat, but due to the Garganta's still not being able to open, the Arrancar were still stuck there; so more confusion over this matter was brought to her. Two large explosions happened next, though large indeed, they weren't enough to cause anyone any real damage. Shrapnel, dirt, grass, and many other unknown objects were sent air borne as the Sephira landed on what ground remained away from the blast radius. The Arrancar surveyed the area, Sakuya was still in decent shaped it appeared, and she thought Arian had fainted. Ori's transformed state seemed to have been canceled out some how as he was back to his normal appearance. The Sephira walked toward the lone Shinigami, like a boy in a lions den, the lioness confronted the stranger. The brown haired Sephira, whose clothes were tattered and ripped, reveling some of her legs and the bottom of her right bust, made her way toward the Death God. "Is it ignorance that allows you to stay, Shinigami? A meaningless death yours will be if you do... you will prove nothing to no one." She said as she stopped about five yards away from him. Her Bo staff Zanpakuto was in her right hand, though she was not really looking forward to using it right than, she would if provoked. The fire from the burning estate was a dramatic back drop, along with the smoke arising from the 12 Division... it was a back drop of victory for the Sephira, and defeat for Soul Society. Her dark brown eyes were trained only on Kyoshiro, for he was the one she did not care for dramatic endings.
