Dear diary
I can't believe I havn't written in this journal till now. I've had it almost a year already and all that I've done is stuck pictures in. Well what can I say? A year is already over in Ouran. I can't believe that it went by so quickly. I can't imagion my life without Ouran now. I have a load of new friends who I like very much and I seem to be slowly changing. Maybe its perr pressure? But these are good changes I believe.
Luca loves my pink streaks. She wont allow me to grow them out now. She has dyed them back for me again now as they started to fade a little. Hum I guess I'm just going to have to put up with them now.
I'm interested to see what this new year brings. Didn't do much for new years or christmas really. I just spent alot of time with my family. When all my sisters come home we have a very fancy house party but, of course, it was for family only. It was quite a shame really because I would have liked to have invited some of my Ouran friends. Maybe I can convice my parents to let me invite friends next year?
Christmas was most satisfactory. I got some new clothes from my sisters, who all still insist on making me their fashion experiment. Its not my fault that I have almost no sense of style and very little will power at this point to put up a good fight against them? Maybe I should just be resigned to my late huh? After all at this point there seems to be nothing more I can do about it anyway.
Tarii got me this wonderful little dog. We called her Solas and she spend most of her time sleeping on my bed. I kind of feel quite bad now though because I didn't get anything for her. Maybe I'll get her something really nice for her birthday instead? Next time I meet her I really must thank her propperly but I havn't been in too much contact with alot of my friends over christmas. I really need to get a cellphone or a computer or something but I got carried away learning a new piano piece called "Comptine D'un Autre Ete" from the movie Amile. Its a very pretty music piece so I've gotten very much engrossed in that lately.
I can't wait till school starts again now. I'm really having alot of fun.
Also I promise to write in this more often this year. It's one of my new year resolutions.

Dear diary
Well I have certianly broken one of my new years resolutions by not writing in this diary very much but what can I say I've had a rather hectic year. A fantastic year to tell the truth but caotic all the same. I can't believe that the school year is almost over. It's rather strange really to think that a year ago I wasn't in Ouran and that I didn't have all the fantastic friends that I have now. Being in Ouran has also really helped me as a musician aswell. With all the help from wonderful people like Audric and Roka I actually feel like one day I might be able to take it in this world as a professional. Unfortinatly we never got around to doing the musical. Between exams and just general apathy on both my part and the rest of the first yeahs it just never got far. Oh well maybe I'll try again next year huh? It might be fun for a change to have something useful to do with everyone else.
I really need to start arranging meetings for the music club. We havn't had many at the moment and I really think we need to. I mean between other clubs alot of people have been busy but once again all I can do is hope that it will be better next year. I'll start working harder as vice-president. Maybe we should try to set up an orchestra or something? That could be really good fun. An amature orchestra would be a good way to get all the music club to meet together.
Lately I've been learning to conduct. It's quite difficult but good fun. It will never take the place of actually playing the music though. I'm hoping if I keep working really hard that I might be able to make consertmaster in a professional orcherstra after I graduate. I'll probably have to go to music collage first though. It should be a fun experince. I think I'll just enjoy my time in Ouran for now though.
I think I might start teaching part time in the local music school. Apparently I'm a good teacher.
Anyway there's my little update of what has been going on lately. I'm going to go back to the violin now. I have to practice my bowing for a while. It's gotten slightly sloppy after all the time I've been spending on the piano.

Dear diary
I quite like this music teacher business. It's nice to help other people love music as much as I do. Plus it's something I hadn't done before this so its a new experience. I was told by my sisters that new experiences make life. I didn't really like that idea when I came to Ouran first but since then new experiences have shaped who I am now and for once in my life I'm actually happy with who I am as a person right now. I mean I still have lots of room for improvement but in comparison to who I was in first year I think I've come a long way!
I joined an amateur orchestra last week. Most of the people are a lot older then me. Mostly collage students studying music in some of the most prestigious universities in the country. I'm obviously not as good as them but their concert master let me join because he said in a few years I could actually be better then alot of these people. I don't believe that for a second but I still took the spot anyway. I'm only a second violin for the moment but it's an amazing experience to be around so many talented people who have such a passion for music.
I had never thought of going to university considering my family business but these people have changed my mind. I want to go to university and become a proper professional. I want to play for some of the best orchestras in the world. Make concert master too if possible. Sure its a horribly far fetched dream but why not reach for the stars? I'm going to have to step up my practice routine though because my parents really don't want me going to university. They want me to take over the family business once I finish Ouran. I understand where they're coming from. After all I am the only male heir but why can't one of my sisters take the business instead? Why does it need to be a male? So if I want to go to university I'm going to have to win a scholarship and actually work...maybe I can get people to pay me for giving them music lessons? I'd rather not have to work in a Starbucks or something like commoners do...that would just be horrible. I need to think long and hard about thing though. But it's what I want and if that means working like a commoner it's going to have to be done.
