Satu sat in the library. He wasn't really trying to study, you really couldn't here anyway. He couldn't really understand why anyone really went to this school at all. After all most students had family businesses which they were just going to take over once they finished so no education was really needed. This school, this blazer, it was all a status symbol and Satu hated it. This life seemed to be superficial and silly but it was the life he was destand to live and there was no way for him to break the chain.
So he sat in the library, reading books on music, his head down and trying to stay inconspicous from the seniors that where around him who were just there to mitch classes. He didn't care but being a first year he was worried that he'd be beaten or worse, be made a slave so he kept hidden in his book with he didn't really care about.
Slowely the library emptied and Satu was left on his own. He relaxed and put the book down, streching and then looking around the library for the first time. It was grand and empty and he liked it much more that way. He sighed lazily.

"Where is it?" Minori exclaimed, rummaging through her bag worriedly. Let's see, Literature, Maths, exercise books, argh! No pencilcase! Racking her brains nervously, the brunette tried to remember where she had misplaced her pencilcase. Step One, retrace my steps. Well, she was sure it was in there for the first lesson, and then there was recess...and...the library! Minori snapped her fingers, a brainwave coming over her. Yes, it must be there!
She had gathered her stuff up and prepared to run there, but halted, seemingly noticing her surroundings for the first time. That's right...it's Ouran...Heaving a sigh, she remembered what her mother had told her, that she must act like a lady. Fine. She walked briskly down the hall, as fast as her lady-like steps could take her.
Pushing open the massive doors, Minori peered inside. There didn't seem to be anyone. Good. Rushing in, she searched the places she had been in the library before. Great, this place is humongous. Bookshelves, no, it wasn't there. Perhaps at the table? She ran there, only to skid to a halt. Someone was sitting there. She groaned inwardly. Please don't tell me he saw me being crazy and all... Blinking, she recognized him. He was one of the Ouran students at the mall that day, wasn't he? Spotting something purple peeking out of a stack of books beside him, she skulked over and lifted up the books. No, it was just another book! The brunette bit her lip in frustration.

Satu looked at the book bored. He had no idea why he had even come to this stupid library in the first time. He streched again, looking behind him as he did so. He say a brunette girl looking around, searching for something like made. He hated when he lost something, then you would have to look for it like a loon. He pretended that he didn't see her and went back to his book, until he looked across the table. On the otherside was a purple pencil case.
Satu pondered for a second, desciding whether to let her find it herself or give it to her. But at the same time maybe she wasn't looking for that pencil case, maybe she was looking for something else.
Satu sighed and got his most charming expression on. He got up elegently, making sure that the chair didn't scrape across the marble tiles. He walked across his long hands brushing agains the oak tabletop. He picked up the pencilcase and walked over to the brunette girl. He was sure that he had seen this girl before but he hadn't caught her name.
Satu cleared his throat as to not startle her. "Um...excuse me miss?" he asked her, smiling slightly. "Is this what you're looking for?" He held the pencilcase out to her so she could claim it for her own.

Minori lifted up a few books off the table, peering around. Nope...but she realised that she was being stupid, looking under the books, when it was quite obvious that it wasn't under it, unless it was squashed flat of course. Still, it was maddening. No pencilcase. "I wish I wasn't so careless..." She mumbled, even squatting down to stare under the table. Argh, it wasn't there either.
"Ah! Arigatou gozaimasu! Thank you very much!" She exclaimed, a happy and relieved expression settling on her heart-shaped face, taking the pencilcase from him. Cocking her head, she stared at him curiously, "Um...You were at the mall a few days ago ne?"

Satu smiled. "It was no problem. It was just lying on the desk over there" he said pointing over to where he was sitting. He put his hands in his pockets. Damn someone else saw him there. He looked back over at her. "Oh yeah I was there with my twin sister. I though I had seen you somewhere before but I couldn't put my finger on where. I must have seen you there!" Satu exclaimed happily, smiling again.
"By the way my name is Satu, Satu Kimura. Its a delight to meet you miss...." he trailed off waiting for the girl to introduce herself aswell. It was formal and polite and Satu had always been taught to do it. To be polite and formal and then he would fit into this school perfectly.

Minori grinned back at him in gratitude, putting the pencilcase in her bag and then followed his finger. "Augh..." She groaned, putting her hands on her hips in frustration. "I didn't see it there...Silly me." She shook her head and grinned. I guess I'm being absent-minded...Well...at least it wasn't clumsiness, I wouldn't be able to stand it.
"Your twin sister! That's so cool!" She said with genuine delight. Minori was an only child, so she envied others with siblings, especially those that have twins. To her, twins were a miracle...wow.
"Kimura...You're in the music industry!" Hearing the name, Minori had immediately ran it by the rich families in her head. From young, she had to memorize all this information, so it came easily to her. "I'm Minori Sagawa."

Satu laughed. "I can't blame you for forgetting where you left it. This library, not to mention the school is huge. I can't even count the times I've gotten lost so far!" Satu said brightly. He wasn't lying either. It really was true. It was actually riddiculous how bad his sence of direction was. He could just lost inside a paper bag.
"I have sever older sisters and a twin sister." Satu said, laughing slightly and rubbed the back of his neck, slightly embaressed. A family that big was so rare in Japan that people always reacted very strangely too it.
Satu nodded, surpriced at her knowledge. "I am." he said happily. "I'm delighted to meet you Miss. Minori. I'm guessing your in class 1A. Would I be right?"

Minori grinned, "I got lost on my first day." After saying that, she looked embarrassed, but laughed it off. "It's really big. Compared to..." Trailing away, she didn't finish her sentence, although she knew what she was about to say. She missed Australia badly.
Her smile faded away, but she plastered it back on brightly. "Wow, such a big family! You're quite lucky!" So many siblings! Now, if only she could convince her parents to let her have a younger sibling...they always said they were too busy. Excuses, excuses.
"I am. How do you know that?"

Satu wasn't going to push any subject especially when it was obvious that she really didn't want to talk about it. "It is very big. I ended up in the garden one day and I wasn't really sure how I got there in the first place!"
Satu laughed. "It sounds great but its not that brilliant when you're the youngest of the lot." he said smiling. He did love his family, it meant you were never lonely, but it also taught you to value personal space.
"Um...I just kind of guessed, from your mannerisms and so on." Satu said smiling. He was always good with that sort of thing. He could read peoples body language very well.

"Oh really?" Minori put her head to one side, a thoughtful look crossing her face. "I've never been to the garden before. But it must be beautiful."
"At least you have siblings that you can talk to. It's not nice to be alone you know." Like her. An only child, no one understanding the problems of a silly teenage girl. Some servants just laughed and patted her head when she did blurt out some of her problems.
"Oh? Really? I didn't know being in different classes also meant people acting differently."

Satu laughed quietly. "Well it would have been very beautiful if it were not the first day of school and if I was not already extremly late for class. Other then that it was very pretty!"
Satu nodded. He relly did appreciate his family even though he was constantly teased for belonging to such an odd, large family. "I know. It really is alot of fun at my house, now that I think about it anyway. Though of course there aree alot of fights constantly going on!" he added, laughing. Remembering the stupid fights him and his twin always had.
"Well..." Satu said, thinking. "We all do kind of have different mannerisms. And since you wern't in class 1B like me you seemed to act more like a member of the 1A class then 1C" he said, trying to explain the best he could.

Minori smiled. True, things seemed to be dulled when you were hectic and in a hurry. She herself had gotten lost in the halls on the first day of school.
Fights? Minori laughed. "Well, it seems you guys have a lot of fun then."
"Oh! What club are you joining?" She asked, a thought suddenly striking her. Her mother had forced her into some club, her being the fashion designer, for her to develop her skills, training to take over the industry. Minori didn't mind really, she liked sketching out designs and bringing them to life, but she did wish her mother would give her some freedom on the matter.

Satu smiled. "Yeah. Yeah we do really!" he said. He kind of missed most of his sisters. He rarely got to see them lately. Everyone was so busy that they didn't really have time for each other. It was kind of sad really.
Satu thought for a second. "I think I might join the music club." he said nodding. Roka had asked him to join and music truely was his passion so it wasn't as though it would be any strain on him. "I would really like to join it I mean." he added. They still needed one more person to get the club approved. "What about you?" Satu asked, curious.

Minori heaved a sigh. "Lucky you. I'm always alone at home." The girl remained convinced that siblings would make her life much more fun.
"I'm um..." She had wanted to say forced, but she really couldn't badmouth her mother behind her back, let alone to a stranger. "Joining the Host Club. I'm the Fashion Designer."

Satu watched the girl and felt a little sorry for her. He really didn't know what he would do without his family. Being the youngest he was truely spoiled rotten and he loved every minute of it.
Satu looked at her, curious. "Pardon my ignorence but what is the host club? I've never heard of it before." he said, slightly embaressed that he didn't know what it was. "Oh so you're into fashion then?" he asked her smiling. His sister had wanted to be a fashion designer but she was quite artistically challanged. So she descided to stick to music, just like most of the rest of the family did.
