Super Sailor Solaris ★
It'd been a while since she'd felt a pull like this, and when she did, Solaris frowned a bit, momentarily bewildered by the sensation before she allowed herself to be pulled along. She wasn't sure what to expect--last time, it'd been a call she'd at least been expecting from Alastor. But this was... definitely not expected.
Opening her eyes once her feet settled onto solid ground once more, she was a bit startled to find herself.... uh. Underground? In a cave..? The amount of metal around intrigued her, and the number of senshi and knights already collected--oh, and Mauvian--was an encouraging sight. A few she recognized from the meeting, and waved to Urania, Aruna, and Tempesti accordingly. Two knights (Amarynthos, Ephesus) got a slightly confused squint before finally a smile settled into place, once she was pretty sure she recalled them from, mentally think of the devil, when folks had been called up to Alastor's world for assistance.
As an Eternal Senshi spoke up, though, she focused towards the front, the mention of the name Asmodeus ringing a nagging bell she couldn't fully place. But the plan at hand, of sorts, and the obstacles incoming, had her mind whirling in excitement and curiosity.
"Sorry, a quick question?" She lifted her hand, trying to draw the attention of Asmodeus. "Are there controls for any of these mechanics we should be looking out for? The automatons, especially--uh, assuming I'm right that those are a sort of robot."

Oh wow - well, at least Haldane was pretty good with putting things together and engineering so if he survived the traps and stuff he could maybe be useful right? Oh man, Bell would kill him if he died out here. The least he could do would be to not make it a stupid death.
All that aside, Haldane then seemed to realize that - oh yeah! He didn't know anyone here - did he? And if he didn't know them, they didn't know him! Oh but now it kind of seemed weird to just suddenly introduce himself. Oh. Oh there it was. The awkwardness. Well, he could do what he did best and sit there looking dumb but pretty.

UraniaUrania waved to Solaris. She was glad there were people she knew here. She knew a few from the trials at her own world’s observatory. She wanted to know more on the automatons, too. What shape did they take? Who made them? “Since we may split up, it may be good to have someone communicating what we find to the other group. Is there a difference you have found in the two paths?”❂

Lucien - Cat FormLucien wriggled a bit when he was picked up, but it wasn’t in distress. Simply making sure his weight was more comfortably adjusted. Although with a couple huffs from strain, he couldn’t help the thought that crossed his mind that he was getting old.
“If it will clear me of suspicion, I was working on a project with Soleiyu,” he explained, puffing his chest out proudly. He was always pleased to be able to assist, especially if it meant he had a chance to learn more about Earthen technology. Ephesus, Knight of the MoonRelieved that it was just Lucien, Ephesus of course reached out to pet him once he was lifted up by Amarynthos, taking the bump against his hip as an invitation to move closer.
“Please don’t tell my dads,” he winced guiltily. He and Amarynthos were Knights, after all! They could handle things! And if Mary ended up getting hurt, Effie would just use his healing magic on him. It was nothing to pull Michael or Devyn into. He hoped.
Others were gathering, and while Ephesus was perfectly content with hiding beside Amarynthos, he did perk up a little at the sight of Urania.
He wasn’t sure if she saw him, or if she even remembered him, even though he and Alastor had helped with her world on more than one occasion, he still lifted his hand to give her a little wave.
It was interesting hearing about the steamwork, but he immediately shrunk back against Amarynthos when it was suggested everyone split up.
“Um… would you like to go with me?” he asked both Knight and Mauvian. He didn’t expect them to not want to, but he wanted to make sure they knew he would rather not leave their sides.
“What’s… um… an automaton?” he asked quietly, but wasn’t sure if the squeak in his voice limited the words to just the two beside him. He felt his cheeks flush a bit, knowing it was probably a stupid question. Still, whatever it was, it sounded dangerous.
And, of course, if he would have kept his mouth shut for a few more moments, another somewhat familiar Senshi (Solaris) would take a guess that it was some kind of robot.
Oh… that made sense…
“I don’t know if I’m very good at puzzles. Um… traps sound scary…” He wasn’t regretting going there (yet), but he hoped he wouldn’t cause more trouble than help.

Chang'E DSS of ElationShocked by Brioche's attempt at hiding, he smoothed his hand over their fur to try and soothe them. He remembered they'd mentioned something about other mauvians but he hadn't met any he'd liked before Brioche and really hadn't met any others since. Not that he needed to meet any other mauvians as he quite enjoyed the loveable loaf on his shoulder. "It's okay, I can avoid them if you'd like?" It would be easy considering the woman, Asmodeus, mentioned people being split into two teams. Scanning the crowd, he recognized Aruna and pointed her out to Brioche. "That's the pleasant one who I met at the reservoir, she mentioned the cafe I want to go to with you." They'd been the one that brought up the conversation on how he'd added someone to the senshi phone they'd provided him. Stepping closer to the apparent leader, he took her in and tried to sift through all the worlds he had seen or heard of as he'd wandered. There had been a few with steam and machinery but as it wasn't his strong point they tended to blend together. Maybe something would jog his memory as time went on but he was content with doing something positive. It felt good to do something to help, even if he was still new to this all, and Brioche was worrying. He could understand it because he did worry about them as well but at least he seemed to be doing a good enough job and making acquaintances and avoiding most of the trouble that seemed to pop up. Leaning his head onto Brioche slightly, he was glad they were here. "I'll keep safe so don't worry. We can go home and enjoy some nice bread from the bakery after. I feel like I might have known this place, maybe I traded for something here in the past, I want to see if I can remember anything that might help my issues."

Amarynthos, Knight of the Moon
A smile tugged at Amarynthos’ lips while he considered if Lucien’s explanation would clear him of suspicion. He and Soleiyu seemed to have a lot of projects they were working on, so it was a likely answer just as much as it was a likely excuse. Lucien was clever enough to lie to them if he put his heart into it, and Mauvians didn’t have the same tells as people did, either.
He made sure Lucien was comfortable in his arms and didn’t seem to want to put him down.”Of course I want to go with you. We’re all here together, we might as well stick close.”
Besides, when Sessrumnir and Alastor inevitably found out, they’d be less mad if they knew the three had stuck together.
He didn’t think any of Ephesus’ questions were silly, and his idea of an automaton might have been different from the relics of some ancient senshi world.
“Don’t worry, we’ll be a good team. I love puzzles. And Lucien’s very good at them,” he reassured. Solaris and Urania both had good questions and he was eager to hear the answer. As much as he didn’t want to overload Asmodeus with questions, he couldn’t help but add his own.
“Hi, Amarynthos,” he introduced quickly, “For those traps–is there anything you can give us a heads up to look out for?” He resisted the urge to ask if she was talking about darts from the walls’ or ‘bottomless pits’ because he didn’t want to scare Ephesus, but he did want to make sure they were going into this as safely as possible.
…Just in case Lucien was secretly preparing a report card to deliver Alastor and Sessrumnir.

Asmodeus took a breath. Plenty of questions, and all of them serious.
She turned to Solaris first. "Yes, they're a sort of robot, and some of them have switches to disable them, usually somewhere on the back, so if you can get in to subdue them and turn them off, that's great. But also don't feel bad about breaking them, if you have to." She wouldn't want any of the people she invited to get hurt because they were worried about preserving robots.
Next, she turned to Urania. "Every path I've been down has been different so far, and I haven't personally been down these yet. So far, that one," she gestured to the second path, "seems to have some automatons closer to the beginning? I thought I heard some clanking? But the other is quiet. As for contacting each other, I'm happy to connect by Senshi phone. They still work here, mostly, just a little bit delayed and crackly."
Then, she nodded to Amarynthos. "It's been a variety, but they're all mechanical. Pressure plates and tripwires that drop dangerous stuff, things like that. They're also not always well-hidden--I think a lot of them were put in kinda haphazardly, because I cannot imagine that people were down here doing maintenance and dodging trapped steam vents, you know? So if you're on the lookout, you should be able to find them before you trigger them."
Hopefully that provided some reassurance.

Mauvian Brioche - Cat FormSo many things caused Brioche anxiety, but having someone slowly soothe them away made it all feel like background noise rather than the loud shouting and ringing in his ears. How blessed he was to have such a sweet lad as his very own! And for once,he would not push away his own anxieties, but allow them to settle in that cozy sense of security with Chang'E. "Yes... Please. So many others, no need to interact with kin...I am fine, though." He looked towards where this Aruna senshi was, and nodded along. "Very pleasant. If she like cafe, and you like them, then maybe I like them too. Will do best, yes." Satisfied with their little conversation, Brioche peeked out a bit more, looking here and there and everywhere to see what exactly these monstrosities were. Ultimately... Old tech that seemed harmless enough, but from what others were saying, they certainly were in for a fight. As Chang'E leaned on him, he leaned right back, giving a soft purr and a light touch of his nose to his Senshi's cheek. "I like this plan, yes! Stay safe, no hurts... And delicious bread later! I am hoping though for you that memories come. Still all muddled and foggy they are, yes? I am hoping we find answers, and I am hoping we can help. The less chaos, the better... And maybe, by helping this little one here, we help you too. We find a way to help home."

When Chillingham came over to join their little group, Tianyi perked up and smiled, giving her a little wave of greeting.
"Hi, it's good to see you again! Everyone, this is Chillingham. Chillingham, this is Tempesti, Murikabushi, and...I'm sorry," he turned to Tempesti's friend, "I don't know your name, I'm afraid."
Tianyi listened, as the pretty Senshi in fire colors explained exactly what was going on on her world. He couldn't help but feel relieved that it didn't sound like a Chaos problem--admittedly, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to handle that, so soon after getting away. But they were still doing something to help revitalize a world, and that made him feel...well, better.
His tail swished as he considered, looking to Murikabushi for guidance as the most experienced Senshi here.
"I'd like it if we stuck together," he said, "but we don't have to. Especially because, ah, I don't know how much use I'll be." As a thoroughly inexperienced Senshi--really, he was fairly certain most of the Senshi on Earth had more understanding of actual combat than him--and with his magic being faulty? Plus, would traps and automatons even listen to his commands? It seemed likely he wouldn't be able to do much. But even if all he did was provide moral support, that would be something, surely.

Hati listened to Asmodeus carefully, though he already knew this information. There was never anything wrong with a quick review of what you knew, to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. He took a few deep breaths to steady himself. Slip properly back into the stoic person he presented to the world at large, when he wasn't alone with his sister or his girlfriend. He wanted very much to kiss her again, but he needed to hold himself back. Asmodeus was leading them now, deep inside her planet. He didn't need to distract her. He did give her an encouraging look, a tiny smile flitting over his face, as she started to tell her plan. Two teams, huh? He didn't want to be separated from her, but as the only other person here who knew anything about where they'd be going, who was familiar with the landscapes presented, the machinery... She'd probably send him to help the second team. It would only make sense. He reminded himself that Asmo could handle herself; after all, she was Eternal, now, and he was still stuck at Super. This simple fact really cramped his desire to protect her, but... Watching her conquer in a fight was also very nice. He brushed some hair from his face and exhaled slowly. She could do this. He could do this. He would help her fix her planet and spur her into being the greatest Senshi she could be. If it meant she went even further ahead of him, well, good for her. He would have to suck it up. He wanted greater things for her than himself. Noir Songbird he's just having an internal monologue about his hot gf <3

Sailor Acrucis, Super Senshi of Prayer and Rainier, Squire of Mercury It had been close to a year now since Hannah had last powered up. She, along with Rainier, had tried so hard to find Sidouer after the last large-scale battle only to finally find the Senshi of Static just to learn she no longer knew her name. Her friend was gone and she was helpless to save her. Instead of relying on magic, she had instead focused on aspects of her life where she could make a difference. Much of her time was spent at the hospital caring for patients, she had even had a conversation with Xander to work part time at his clinic. But when she received a call from Erica asking to meet up, she’d reluctantly agreed. “Thank you for coming, Acrucis.” It had been a while since they had last spoken. But after running into Terrance at the start of the year, Erica had decided it was time to forgive herself for what happened to Jordan and start moving forward again. Slow steps first, reconnecting with people she knew and trusted, and accepting her responsibility as a Knight. It was perhaps fortuitous that when she powered up, Rainier felt a pull to go to space. Hopefully the third time’s a charm. “It’s no problem.” Though she felt anxious about being powered, Acrucis did feel comforted in knowing that the company they shared were all White Moon Senshi, Knights, and a Mauvian. Quote: They're open for interactions and don't need to stay together, they just know each other.

The questions seemed to be dying down, and truthfully, Asmodeus wasn't exactly excited to stand around and wait for much longer.
It had taken so much time to get here. So much work. And now they were so close...
"Okay, I think we're ready to go," she said. "I'll be taking the group to the north. Hati, go with the group to the south. If we need to alert each other, Hati and I have each other registered."
Hopefully they wouldn't need it, but it was good to at least have that precaution.
She turned, and headed towards the door to the north, behind which there could be heard some faint sounds of clanking.
The door to the south, however, seemed almost eerily quiet....Quote: This is a close for this thread! Please feel free to write exits and then proceed to either the North Path with Asmodeus or the South Path with Hati! Once you choose a thread, you cannot switch to the other one! Characters may still join, but should join directly in the North or South Path threads and will have arrived with the rest of the group!

Eternal Murikabushi of HungerEverything happened so fast, with so many people all appearing out of nowhere. Murikabushi noticed Tianyi first, picking out one of his housemates and waving to him with a smile, well before Tianyi actually made his way over to Muri’s side. He was right in the middle of appreciating that they had the good luck of being together for this—all the better for Murikabushi to watch out for Tianyi while encouraging him about believing in himself and honing his abilities—when another voice (Aruna) called out to him. And, oh, she was coming his way, too.
With Miss Tempesti in tow, linked up arm and arm with her.
“Hey, gurl,” Muri called to Aruna, shooting her and her friend another wave and a smile. Unfortunately, in the tumult of so many people colliding with each other, he missed that Tianyi didn’t know Aruna’s name and vocally expressed as much. Failing to notice that, Murikabushi progressed right into conversation without making sure everybody got introduced properly. “First of all? Congrats on the level-up, Miss Freshly Super Senshi! Secondly? Welcome to Asmodeus, fam. Home-world of that fabulous lady over there.”
Helpfully, Muri gestured toward Asmodeus, still standing up at the front with the boy-senshi (were they dating, yes or no? it wasn’t Muri’s business, he knew that, but the part of him that was an incorrigible gossip wanted to know regardless).
“You really should make time to visit your home-world sometime,” he told Aruna, gently but bright and eager because space was always one of Muri’s favorite subjects. “I haven’t found any place like this on my own home-world, nor on Kerberos’s world, or on Fang’s.… The architecture is kinda similar to that on Daedalus? He’s one of my and Tianyi’s housemates, and his world has a similar visual sort of vibe. But they had a history that Asmo’s architecture in here suggests her world probably didn’t.” It was taking considerable effort not to outright bounce in excitement, but really: Murikabushi didn’t know how anyone would ever not be excited about space. “If you want to come visit mine first to see how it’s done? Or someone to come with you when you go? Just hit me up, gurl; I love taking people to see my world’s old gardens, and the bookshops, and the rainbow-colored teacup pigs.”
He would’ve spoken more about his world. Unfortunately for everyone, Murikabushi manifested his excitement in being able to talk about things forever. Perhaps it was fortunate, then, that a little Page (Chillingham)—wearing colors and a style that Murikabushi instantly clocked as belonging to the Knights of Saturn—came crashing over to join them, effectively interrupting Muri’s thoughts and his ability to go on and on about his world until everybody present faked getting sick so they didn’t have to listen to any more of it.
“Oh, hi,” he said brightly, once Tianyi introduced the Page……and then, finally, Murikabushi caught up to Tianyi missing one of the other names in this conversation. “Oh! I’m sorry, I should’ve asked if you two knew each other sooner. Tianyi, Chillingham, this sweetheart over here is Aruna. We actually work together civ-side, too. Aruna, this is Tianyi, one of my friends and housemates. Then, Miss Chillingham of Saturn is another friend of his, I think? And, it seems, as socially outgoing as the Saturn Knight friend I’m best acquainted with.”
Glancing around, Murikabushi didn’t spot Kaifeng or Helene anywhere, but that didn’t worry Muri any. Plenty of others had turned up to help Asmodeus, including a few other auras that would belong to either eternal senshi or Knights. So, if Helfeng were maybe taking a night off to snuggle, or work on their music, or whatever, it would be alright.
But, ah, the time had come to split up on the different paths. Considering everything Asmodeus had said about the potential dangers, Murikabushi glanced toward the south pass. “Let’s go that way, I think,” he said to their little group. “Puzzles sound like something everyone can contribute to, regardless of what our magic is.”Quote: Muri is exiting to the South Pass!

Procyon Super DSS of Liminality Much of what Asmodeus said went over his head, talks of automatons and machinery that he wasn't really sure if existed on his world. Maybe beneath the waves, down in the vault, but it had been a thousand years since he'd been on the other side of that sealed part of his world. Just thinking about it brought that phantom pain back, itching against where his prosthetic touched his skin. Shaking it off as he listened to the plan, loose as it was, he was sure he could manage to help at least with any puzzles. Punching things or stopping whatever automatons were might be a bit difficult but he'd try his best just as he had when he'd helped Urania, Daedalus, and Fang. It was good to see at least one of them here, asking the important questions. Part of him wished he'd started trying to make sense of all this technology and infrastructure since Earth seemed to be full of it as well. But he never really could wrap his head around things like that or the complicated thing called math outside of what he needed to crochet and sew things for people. Even then he sometimes lost count of stitches and things would end up too small or too large. Although the path Asmodeus was going down sounded like it had more of the automatons up front, he wanted to keep close and try and learn more about this senshi as well as this world. Part of him wondered if they'd ever come to his planet in the past, it was always likely, but with how many people he had seen and interacted with it was hard to get a feel for who he knew and didn't know. "I'll go with you, Asmodeus, it's very nice to meet you." Offering a polite little nod, he cleared the last bit of space before following the other Senshi along and down the louder of the two paths. Making sure he had his Senshi phone at the ready, he would let Illyria know about things if anything came up. It would be fine, he was pretty sure of that. ---------------------------------------------------------- Chillingham Page of SaturnNodding excitedly as she listened to the names being listed off, she waved in turn to each of the new friends she hoped to make. The only problem came when Tianyi listed out the longest name and she found herself stumbling over how to pronounce it. "Ah... cripes... can I call you Muri?" Looking over at the apparently experienced and very frilly-looking senshi. She was in awe over all the gorgeous patterns on their clothing but caught herself as she heard the path they'd be taking was the quieter of the two. That would probably be for the best if she was really thinking about it, automatons were kinda sturdy and she doubted hitting them with her pail would work. The last thing she needed was to break her hand punching something because then she couldn't play guitar and she doubted Freddy would let her have magical adventures anymore. And she did not want that to happen. As it stood she figured he wouldn't enjoy the fact she went up to space without warning him tonight. But if she stayed safe then she could just say it was an uneventful night and that she made new magical friends! That would hopefully help him stress less since she was trying to not get a hand in her chest again, not that she told him, or would ever tell him, that such a thing had happened. "It's really nice to meetcha so do we just carry on now down that path?" Looking at the rest of the group, she was sure she'd learn more as they went down this super cool space magic escape room?

Super Sailor Aruna of LandslidesAs she approached Muri, Aruna felt herself relax. When she was praised for levelling up, she visibly lit up and couldn't help the proud grin on her face. "Thank you!" She couldn't help but beam up at her coworker and friend, giving Tempesti a grin as well. "This place is massive....it's incredible." Though when he mentioned she should visit her own world, her smile faltered. "I would love all of that, I think. I've been....too anxious to try on my own so far." Her mind did somewhat of a record scratch at "rainbow colored teacup pigs" but she stowed that query away for another time. Add that to the ever growing list of "I'll ask about that later" that she had going, she thought. She smiled warmly at Tianyi, noting that he also knew Tempesti and Muri had said he was a housemate, then nodded with another warm smile at Chillingham as well. "It's good to meet you both. Any friend of Murikabushi and Tempesti is a friend of mine." Truthfully if it was someone Muri, Kerberos, or Tempesti trusted, they were automatically fine with her, simple as that. Glancing around once again, Aruna's eyes lit up as she saw a familiar figure nearby. She turned to Muri and Tempesti with a small smile, nodding towards the rest of the group. "I'll be right back, there's someone I want to say hello to before we head out." Letting go of Tempesti, Aruna carefully made her way over to Chang'E, waving a little at him with a smile. "I see you made your way here as well. It's good to see you again so soon." Her eyes fell on the Mauvian on his shoulder and it took everything in her not to fawn over him. "Is this Brioche that you mentioned?" She smiled fondly at the adorably soft looking cat as she introduced herself. "Chang'E mentioned you when we met before. I'm Aruna, and it's lovely to put a face to a name and meet you properly." She turned her attention back to Chang'E though still spoke to both him and Brioche as well. "I'm with a group over there that seems to be taking the south path. You're welcome to join us if you would like? If not, then I look forward to seeing you again before we depart."With another smile, Aruna made her way back over to Muri, Tempesti, and the rest of the small group, once again linking her arm with Tempesti's. Having her there beside her helped ground the landslide senshi, helped her feel less afraid and jittery. She truly had no idea what to expect of all of this, but she felt decidedly more confident with people she knew at her side. Quote: Aruna is exiting to the south with the group!
