Ngome, Page of LysitheaShe got up and made her way to the next obstacle. She found herself in on an ancient stone platform rather than on the forest floor. The next obstacle is a tightrope element set up about five feet off of the ground. The ropes are tied between several trees in a zigzag pattern, but to help participants along, there are also some ropes hanging down from higher branches. Nairobi carefully stepped onto the narrow rope, feeling the slight sway beneath her feet. She steadied herself, her focus unwavering as she took in the sight of the zigzagging path ahead. The air was filled with a sense of tension and anticipation. She took a breath and released it. She calmed her mind and directed her attention to the task at hand. and channeled her inner balance. With each step, she felt the rhythm of the rope beneath her, like a heartbeat guiding her forward. As she made her way across her mind was cleared and the only thing on her mind was making it across she didn't pay attention to anything else. Quote: Roll 1: 6 Roll 2: 6 Roll 3: 6 ((181))

Ngome, Page of LysitheaFinally the last obstacle. A zipline. There’s was nothing to strap youself in, although it’s not too far off of the ground, either. The rope is tied off around a nearby tree. You just have to grab it, jump, and go. Nairobi stood at the edge of the platform, her eyes fixed on the zipline. The wind whispered through the trees, as if beckoning her forward. She couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement mixed with a twinge of nervousness. This was the final obstacle, the culmination of all her efforts. Untying the ropes that were at the zipline she launched herself though the air. As Nairobi soared through the air on the zipline, a rush of adrenaline coursed through her veins. The wind whipped against her face, sending strands of hair flying behind her. She let out a joyous laugh, feeling the thrill of freedom surging through every fiber of her being. When she made it across, she threw herself on the ground and started laughing. The laughter bubbled up from deep within Nairobi's chest, filling the air around her with pure delight. She couldn't contain the overwhelming sense of accomplishment that washed over her. Quote: Roll 1: 6 Roll 2: 6 Roll 3: 6 Roll 4: 5 Total: 23 ((197))

Erytheia stared up at the wall. Why did it look so imposing? Clearly, Cybele had tried to make it taller. It made it difficult for him to tell just how high it really was. He tried to judge it before jumping. But he was largely wrong in his estimate. He barely even touched the top portion before falling back down. He hadn’t even been close. There was not way to climb the wall so he continued to jump until he figured it out. Luckily, his personal item made falling a breeze and he didn’t hurt himself at all. It just lost him a considerable amount of time. ✪Total: 6

Deep Space SelinuirSlinur was pleased to be here, very pleased in fact, and this event had sounded good to him so he'd signed up rather quickly. The walk down to where the event would be starting wasn't all that bad, not realy, the planet was rather nice and there was some knight of neptune directing people to the starting line.
Gettin gin place he was ready and when the time for them to take off came the ancient did just that - he ran. The first thing he came across was a river, and the water looked fast, he took a moment before plunging into the water. There were rocks which he tried to use, and he faired well enough, and the cool water soaking into his uniform felt great. He failed towards the end though, slipping one a rock that was covered in something, moss perhaps? And winding up fully in the water the blond had to wade his way to the shore, not that far thankfully, before shaking himself off before he took off again. His tail was wet, along with his clothing, and while it felt great he knew his fur would smell later from being wet.
When this was over he might have to find a dryer or something else which would warm, and dry, his fur. Total: 4

In the next challenge, too, Erytheia was lucky to have the feathers break his fall. Because he fell… at least ten times, if not more. Between each stone pillar might as well as be pure air and not rope. He didn’t make a single one without error. And error usually meant falling to the forest floor and having to start all over again. Thank goodness for the feather in the gilded bird cage or he’d be covered in bruises by now. ✪Total: 7

Super Sailor YmirYmir wasn’t usually one for obstacle courses. He almost avoided the training grounds entirely, but then he thought it seemed like a good opportunity to avoid other people. He could focus on what he was doing while others were doing the same. There wouldn’t be time for chatter. Theoretically.
He began at the stepping stones and slipped almost immediately. Ymir would blame his shoes for it. They didn’t provide much traction. He ended up in the water but he hadn’t reached the deepest parts of it yet, so he could pick himself back up without much effort.Current Total: 4 Kyuseisha no Hikari Guine said something about them meeting up with Beira

Super Sailor PerditaPerdita liked to think this was where she would excel. She was athletic. An obstacle course might not be her usual means of exercise, but she trained plenty for figure skating and was sure she could apply some of that here.
They were starting off easy with stepping stones. No big deal. She was light and nimble and had skated around on ice almost her entire life. Water and rocks should hardly be a challenge.
Except she slipped. Heels probably weren’t the best for this task, but she’d had to run and fight in them plenty of times; she hadn’t thought she’d have a problem with them now. Maybe it was overconfidence. She’d thought highly of herself for a moment and karma came to remind her that she could always fail.
At least the water wasn’t fast or deep here. Parts of her clothes were drenched when she got back up, but things probably would have been a lot worse if she’d slipped when she was further across.Current Total: 3 Guine Connie, if you want them hanging out here too!

Transcended Eternal Sailor Ganymede“Be careful,” Ganymede warned Eupheme, taking the lead across the stones. “Watch your step. It’s probably slippery.”
She’d watched a few others go through the course already and didn’t want Eupheme to get in over her head in the spirit of having fun. Part of Ganymede wished Eupheme would sit things out; being a Senshi wasn’t what Ganymede would’ve chosen for her if she’d had a choice. But she was a Senshi, and preventing her from testing herself and spreading her wings wasn’t going to do her any good. She should know her abilities in case she ever had to use them.
Ganymede went across the stones with ease, glancing over her shoulder and reaching out a hand to help Eupheme if she needed it. (If she would accept it. Eight year olds certainly had a mind of her own sometimes. Then again, that had been true for Eupheme long before the age of eight.)Current Total: 6

Super Sailor Surtur“Careful,” Surtur gently warned Ymir, trying to hold back a laugh as he did so. He reached out a hand to help him back to his feet and on solid ground.
Surtur hadn’t had any issues with jumping across the water. His world was covered in small creeks and jutting rocks and fallen trees. It was just a matter of keeping his footing, which was not always successful, but since Ymir had shown him exactly where not to step, it was easier.
Just as he was straightening them both back up, he caught sight of a familiar face.
“Beira! It is good to see you, friend. Are you partaking in this course of obstacles as well? Use caution with these stones. They are deceptive,” he gestured to where Ymir had slipped. Rolls:6

Erytheia had fallen quite a bit on the other obstacles. It was the constant during the course for him. But he was not, ultimately, deterred. He continued on. The good thing was that, despite falling many times, he wasn’t afraid of heights. Not in the least. Which was good when the last task was again high in the air. He breathed in before grabbing the rope — and then let himself go. The knight was like a bird in flight. He practically flew over the forest. He landed cleanly, too. Erytheia reflected on how he had gotten this personal item. The feather in the gilded bird cage. Yuki had said that ‘it will work for you as long as you believe in yourself as I believe in you’. And it had proven to be true — quite literally. It had failed once when, before he transcended, he had not believed in himself to help the Code Piece on his own. It seemed more than ready to work overtime now though. Truly, he would have more than a few bruises if it had not activated on three of the four rounds. It was not of help in the competition itself, but it did make his falls graceful. Not the best time. He had done the course at this own pace. Yet he’d finished quite well and could be satisfied with his performance. ✪Total: 12

Connie, Squire of Chronos“Oh! Perdita be careful!” Connie yelped in distress when Perdita lost her footing on the stepping stones. Instinctively, Connie reached out to try and help her--
And ended up misstepping, herself.
There was a horrified squeak and then splash as Connie tumbled into the water. Oh, and the water was a lot faster than she was expecting. And the many layers of her dress were making her weighed down.
“I’m okay!” she coughed and sputtered as she was carried downstream, trying to brush the fabric and hair from her face as she struggled to get back to the surface. This was okay! At least it wasn’t freezing! She would just need to climb out a little farther down stream. Rolls:1

Reims, Page of GanymedeAfter all of the excitement looking around for a jackalope, Reims was just as pleased to hear that Dering was up for trying out the obstacle course as well. Oh good, then he could definitely show Dering how capable and reliable he was. Uh, not that he was trying to impress him or anything like that! He just wanted Dering to know that if he had any trouble, he could come to Reims with his problems.
Or something like that.
“Oh yeah, those rocks are definitely going to be slippery. We’ll have to be careful making our way across,” he nodded at his own advice as he stood with Dering on one side of the bank.
“I’ll go first okay? Then you’ll know exactly where to step.”
It looked like plenty of others were making their way across as well. But it seemed like there was enough room so any one person wasn’t holding it up for the others.
As promised, Reims took one step onto the rock, and then another. He was proud of himself for doing so well. Until suddenly he heard a “look out!” and was shoved off the rock and stumbled onto his knees onto the bank with a wince. Rolls:3

Sailor Chibi Eupheme “I’m careful!” Eupheme promised, watching as her mom elegantly leapt across the water. She could absolutely do that too! It would just take some of her magic. But she liked showing that off because it was fun!
Even though Ganymede was offering her hand, Eupheme chirped, “I’ve got it!”
And she did! She just used a bit of her magic, took a leap and--
Oh no, she hadn’t anticipated a bit of wind pushing her off course!
“Look out!” she yelped as she bumped into some kid in dark clothes. There was enough of a rebound to the bounce that she was able to land mostly on the bank and grabbed hold of Ganymede’s hand in the end.
“Eww,” she whined, pulling her heels out of the mud, and then winced as she looked over to the high schooler she’d bumped into. “Sorry!” Rolls:4

Beira, Super Senshi of Loneliness Score: 6
Beira wanted to be done with this part of the obstacle course. The idea of slipping and falling into water, getting stuck in the mud like some of the others–no, thank you. His skin was already crawling even as he approached the rocks. He’d watched for a good while before attempting, but there was no telling if any wrong step would ruin him despite his studios efforts to be prepared.
Dread had cemented in his stomach, but he was here to push himself. With a heavy sigh, he forced himself across it. Slow, steady. Maybe it was because he poured all of his focus into making it across that he managed to do so without any major catastrophe nipping at his heels.
At first, he hadn’t even heard Surtur, but when he was just a few feet from the edge of the shoreline he looked up.
“Oh, Surtur. Hello.”
He couldn’t let his concentration faltered; he was close enough that he could have jumped it but he didn’t want to risk it. He took extra caution around the steps Surtur had indicated, but rather than be on his way, he moved closer to have an actual conversation. Now that he could relax, at least.
“Sorry, I meant to say more. I really didn’t want to fall in the water.” He looked apologetically at Ymir. “Are you all right?”
