Widget landed with an audible crash before the others began to leap out. The one after her had been the horse faunus with the massive sword and she took out a tree in her own landing process. Tabby followed soon after and then a couple boys, a flyer, a guy with a dog parachuted in, and another flyer. God that was way too many people and it wasn't the last of them. As the one with the dog drew closer, she eyed the lantern he had on him. She had separated from where she'd reasoned the most likely spot for everyone to congregate and, so, despite his efforts to hang back, she suspected he was close enough to hear her, despite her soft voice. "If you plan to light that thing around me, please, make sure my goggles are not off."Her eyes were hidden behind what seemed pitch-black lenses, much had they been the whole trip and at the loading site."I am photosensitive. Even normal lighting can blind me."She turned to see the group had indeed gathered where she suspected they would and the horse faunus was berating impulsiveness, clearly indicating her as she mentioned the two before her. "It's one of the reasons I jumped out early. I wanted to be out of the light. Maybe remove my goggles soon for a little bit."

She seemed one to take charge, though, she did seem to appreciate Skylar's suggestion with scouting, even offering to join her if she wished.”I ain't got nothin against it. Always work better when ya got someone ta help. Nice dive by the way.”Sky grinned. She knew all too well the thrill of a good dive, though, as a peregrine faunus, aerial dives were kind of her specialty. "Bet I'm faster though."Just then, the tall horse girl chimed in her two cents. While she had a point, Sky didn't really think she was being fair."Ain't no harm. We're still outside the mission zone ain't we? Yeah, maybe best ta tighten up when we get ta work, but, fer now, it ain't gonna kill us. An' yer not exempt either ya know. Dee simply looked at the female addressing him and nodded giving a thumbs up, not fully sure that was a complement or sarcasm but it didn't matter to much in the end. turning his attention from her to the area around the group. "A Giant, A Bird, A Dwarf, A Hermit, A Dog, And someone I should stay far away from" he thought to himself while looking at each member. His eyes slowly trailing off back to the giant female's weapon of choice, a massive unsheathed blade, "How long did it take to make that? Wouldn't it be a pain to swing that around in closed areas?" he questioned himself, thinking of all of the pros and cons of having a weapon that large. Breaking from his trance only when His snake friend pokes its head out from his dreads making a single one fall to the side of his face. Looking up to his little buddy as it looks around meanwhile Dee checking his items doing s small check over his personal inventory, 3 Smoke grenades, Snacks, the provided survival kit and everything inside of it, as well as his over personal Med-kit for any damage he takes during the mission, taking a moment to latch the med-kit to his belt sliding it behind him. His snake leaning around watching his every movement, Noticing the snake at the corner of his eye without turning to it Dee begins to sign. To anyone that didn't know sign language he might have looked like he was trying to gently swat at a fly. the snake slides back up and slides its head back into its hair.
Moving his gear check up to his metal jaw, making sure the bolts holding it to his face didn't some loose from the drop, making sure his drool was not leaking, testing to see if it could open and close his mouth, showing for a quick moment the sharp fangs he hid behind the metal mask. everything looked good on that front. Next up was his ammo, 8 magazines hung from his pants, 4 on each legs in his holster "check". After the the check Dee stood back up and reached into his pocket and pulled out a small old notepad, the little thing looking like it went to hell and back. Writing down two questions " Name?. Team?" he asked without speaking a word, not interested in straining his throat anymore then he needs to. Dee walked up and held it out to anyone looking in the large komodo dragon direction. Trying to find out just who he was going to be directly working with sooner rather then later.
Sakura was convinced. The people she had this mission with were probably crazy. She could only watch in absolute horror as multiple students had jumped out of the airship without a second thought. Were they serious?! Sakura runs her hands over her face, doing her best to gather her thoughts again. What was she doing beforehand? Oh, right. Going over every possible thing that could go wrong on this mission if they don't coordinate properly. There were so many unpredictable factors at play that she wasn't sure what to expect. Someone could get hurt, someone could get lost, they all could get trapped somewhere...it was all too much. She runs her fingers through her hair, the usual sign of stress by Sakura followed by the intense biting of her nails as she stared off into space. She wished Yui were here. Maybe then she could just tell all her worries to her beforehand so she wouldn't have to consider them later. But she knew Yui needed her time alone and it was her responsibility as team leader and friend to give it to her.
Well, at least she had Ren who seems to be one of the few smartest people on this airship considering he actually waits for the ladder to come down before leaving. She lets out a small sigh of relief. Thank goodness. When it's her turn, Sakura makes sure to descend the ladder as carefully as she can. Once her feet hit the ground, she looks around and observes everyone around her. Such a large variety of fighters, such little time. Sakura took notes of what everyone was saying. She wished her semblance was magically being able to know people's weaknesses and strengths. That would make her life a whole lot easier. But, unfortunately, life isn't fair and doesn't care for individual troubles like hers. So it seems she's going to have to do it the old fashioned way. By speaking. She especially takes note of what the brown haired girl has to say. "I see. Good to know. I feel like what would also be a good thing to know if anyone else has anything like light sensitivity or maybe even an old injury that might cause them to stumble. Things like that will require certain placements and stuff. Also, I feel like knowing who is best at close range or long range combat would be best. That way, we'd know who would be able to handle certain kind of enemies. It'd be kind of useless if we'd all just be scrambling around without some sort of game plan for this kind of thing. Maybe pair up teams with half being good at close range and the other half being good at long ranged." Sakura suggests. "That's just my idea, anyways."
The staff started to pick up their speed around the command center, a large tent 30 meters from the chasm entry point. It didn't take long for a tall military man clad in shiny badges to exit the tent and make his way to where most of the students had gathered.
"Listen up pipsqueaks!" He demanded their attention with a stern gaze. "Beacon has been given authority over this mission, but the military will be watching from afar. This is a serious mission and I want you to all be wear of a few facts."
A man beside him grunted and whispered in the man's ear. His eye's widened and he cleared his throat. "I seemed to have forgot to introduce myself. I am commander Adao. Now where was I... Oh yes, you will all now make your way down into the cave. Teachers and staff will be helping you put on the rappelling gear and once at the bottom wait for your teams. When your teams are all down there you may head out into the cavern. Team Solar and Rockfall, you will be the vanguard, and Nox is going to be tagging along with Rockfall." The Commander switched his gaze over to the other side of the field. "As for the Sternguard we have Paws and Nightshade. Of course, you can make deals with another team to swap places, but both jobs will be extremely important. Keep formation and make your way down the cave after you landed." Commander Adao gave the students a kurt nod and then motioned for them to start using the entry point. There was a table on either side with survival packs provided for all who would take one. "And remember! We don't know what is down there! Could be nothing, could be a throng of grimm. Stay alert and good luck!"
TEAM: NTSS WEAPON/PROFILE: Stabby, Jabby, and Tabby~! Tabby is at this place!!!!: A big flying airship~! Tabby is with this person!!!!: LOTS OF PEOPLE Tabby is doing this!!!!: Ponder ponder~! ..> Jumpy jump off plane~!!!!!! OOC: I tried to post everyone in this mission and i am sorry if I missed anyone I could not remember who was on what teams >.< ////////////////////////////
After getting up to brush off her clothes, Tabitha had promptly sheathed her harpoons, a loving pat on the grips for a job well done! Soo useful these babies of hers were. Now that her mission debut had began to happen, only then had she remembered she was not alone for this adventure. "Heehee~!!" Woah an awed noise she would watch others from above for but a mere moment, use a ladder that had turned out to be provided the whole time. The party poopers!! Where was the fun in descending like birdies!? Though most had no wings, there had to be other fun ways... Like her way!!! She would be distracted by wings to the side of the airship making headway down, her mouth parted in an "O" form. "Birdie!!!" She was practically hopping, her arms waving too and fro in excitement. Oh~! The team~! Where was her team!?
Looking to and fro, her eyes had targeted Yuki first, hopping over to her. Like her, Yuki had a dynamic entry as well~. It was delightful she had arrived safe as others had. Widget seemed to have made it as well, alongside others who had their own ways of graceful landings. Apparently not everyone wanted to feel the wind through their hair! How many people were there now on the ground!? Too many to count! There were so many Tabby was unable to get too excited about faunus everywhere as there were too many too look at!! All she could do was look for the more relaxing spot to stretch her arms and get limber! Moving aside to do that had been luckily easy. While the people socialized, she was stretching. In doing so she observed, managing to keep her levels of excitement lowered a little bit. That did not last long, her hues seeing a male dropping to the ground, almost in a motion she couldn't pinpoint. "Oi!! You boy! Where'd you get them skills!? Can Tabby learn them skills and have moves like a dancey dance girl?"
Before Tabby could get an answer, her head turned to a giant woman, who appeared to be pointing out the ones to enter in similar ways as she. More entranced by the height then the tail, she puffed her chest out, about to comment. Luckily, the winged lady had cut in and backed the words up properly, only for her puff her cheeks. "That's right! No hand-holding needed! We fierce like lions! RAWR. Lady with wings the smartypants of kindness!!! We are like that puppy.... Puppy Doggy on the side!!! So cute so cute!!! Ah!! What was Tabby saying!? Oh yes.... Tabby is a big girl don't need giant house sized woman making mean comments!!!! That is so mean!!" Tabitha would have kept the chatty charade up, but the SERIOUS people were starting their business as to why they were there!!
One stern fellow arriving from the location of nearby tents, badges of honor distracting to look at. Tabitha was unable to look away, her expression more of a glassy-eyed look. Shiny!! She only had finally paid attention once it was made clear they needed to focus. FOCUS!! She would slap her cheeks, redness a little clear against her caramel skin. She would focus! It was only till she was prepared had she skipped towards the area to fetch a survival pack. The only thought going through her mind... What on earth was a Sternguard!? Was a Sternguard a guarding job where one had to be stern!? Tabitha was unsure....

XXXFor a moment the winter-haired faunus had felt bad, just barely catching a glimpse of Ren beelining directly to where she had previously dived. Perhaps it was due to his alcohol intake, but it appeared that he had forgotten about her own ability to fly. No, she'd give him the benefit of the doubt this time around. Some of her mannerisms in freefalling were concerning, especially diving with her eyes closed. Once she had landed next to Skylar, it didn't take long for the rabbit-eared boy to catch up to her. In the past, Yui had often responded with a semblance of anger or annoyance whenever Ren touched her. This time, however, his gentle nudge to her shoulder was welcomed with a nod. In fact, if he looked close enough, the girl may have even smiled lightly. "Thank you, Ren, it's appreciated. I'm pleased to see you're looking ... Almost well." Curiosity had brought the faunus' attention closer to Ren, noticing the cream color had left his skin as if trying to match their winter tones. ".. Is all well on your end, Ren? Your skin tone matches that of your ears." Off color pigmentation was certainly a raise for concern, just before the big mission no less. In waiting for Ren's response, her eyes moved towards Skylar once again to give a nod. "Thank you, Skylar. .. Are you instigating a challenge?" Pale blue hues seemed to shimmer in curiosity, eyelids widening to express the most subtle emotion of excitement. "Perhaps we'll have to see about that, though another day. ... I highly doubt that the depths of a cave is fit for speed flight." A sense of excitement quickly evaporated by her own logic and reasoning. If their team stayed together, however, it may have been a worthwhile event. Then a much taller in stature woman spoke up. Someone who nearly rivaled the survival teacher's height, just as the male she was with did. This woman had light red hair with a matching red tail, a tail she would only now recognize as a horse's tail from her extra credit course. The other was a man with what looked to be something slithering on his person... An odd reminder of Kail. What was more unique, however, was the mannerisms with his hands.. Of course, she did recognize him, specifically because of Kail. It was Dee, and those mannerisms were sign language. A skill that though not fluent in it, she held a basic understanding. Other arrivals included the masked man with a dog she had met in the cafeteria, Chase if she recalled well. An individual with a robotic suit, an eccentric caramel skinned girl, and a few others on the sideline to boot.
At long last team SLAR's leader made her arrival. Unlike the two avian faunus, it appeared that both Ren and Sakura had enough wits about them to take the ladder to prevent untimely injury. While Yui wasn't ready to admit it herself, her entrance may have held the most risk. If she was more than two seconds off in her timing, the poor avian would've been nothing more than a pile of mush and shattered bones. Carefully, though her eyes had panned in order to scout the others as well as the man who approached, she continued to listen to Sakura's input. Reasonable, logical, it only made sense to get familiar with one another before such a large scale mission. Standing beside her leader, she'd gently nudge Sakura's shoulder before nodding. "Excellent suggestions, Sakura. I believe--" Before she could give her own two cents, however, a man she recognized from her mother's line of work spoke up. Introduction, briefing, assignments, send off. The bare essentials that they all needed to get further in their quest. As Adao moved to step away from the group, Yui had instinctually saluted the man who was surely a respected colleague of her mother's. With his send-off, Yui herself would finally speak up. "Sakura made some clear points. While we've been tasked to our groups, it would be best to familiarize ourselves with each other's comforts and capabilities. I specialize in flame based skills with the adaptability of both close and long-range combat while holding dominance in aerial capabilities. In the event that the cave is too dark, I'm capable of providing light for those who need it. ... On the contrary, my capabilities will be a hindrance towards anyone with light sensitivity. " It was a mouth full all at once, but a series of information that was best shared among those who were actually listening. Yui's semblance had a particular volatile aspect and provided a direct hindrance towards one of those assigned to the mission, though fortunately, that student was in the sternguard. "As for an introduction, my name is Yui Lioncourt of Team SLAR, designated Vanguard." Yui had finally learned to keep an introduction relatively simple. Relatively, anyway. As a signature trope, however, she did bow towards the students that had actually focused on her.
Now though, with that particular mouthful of words out of the way, her eyes had focused again on the masked faunus with a slithering companion. Though she did wait for the input from any of her teammates, she [possibly with them in tangent] would make her way towards the provided survival packs. In claiming her survival pack, the white-haired faunus had finally entered the line of sight of the lizard faunus, catching a glimpse of his notepad. Rather than responding vocally, however, she'd tuck the pack underneath her arm and proceed to sign. "Hello D-E-E. My name is Y-U-I. I am with team S-O-L-A-R. Remember me?" She would pause after signing, bringing her hands together before speaking vocally. "I hope that I've made improvements from last time, Dee. Professor Schuer told me that we'd be assigned to this mission together, though I hadn't anticipated our teams both being Vanguard." Blue hues had begun to pan once more, trying to spot the potential teammates of Dee's, as she hadn't been presented with an opportunity to meet them before. In all likelihood, the horse faunus from before was a good candidate from their prior interaction. Perhaps with these two members standing together, the rest of their two would conglomerate as one.

Dee's ears shoot back at the sudden yelling man grabbing his attention before he could get to close and ask everyone who team they belonged to, an annoyed look sharp in his eyes as the loud man speaks. Dee's shoulder stiffen as he watches the man, not once thinking of the mission when he was present his mind filled with baseless anger his burns bothering him all over again reminding his body of the scars he hid under his shirt. Dee was unable to pinpoint why he was feeling this way but it wouldn't approve his mood of he kept thinking on it, there was nothing to gain from the anger he felt. unable to help himself his mask slowly opens at the lips just enough for his long thin tongue to slide out and taste the air before retreating back into his mask as it shuts. "he reeks of smoke and iron" he thinks to himself taking note of the metals on his person each a reminder of his so called achievements. Waiting for the commander to stop yelling and once he did Dee dropped his shoulders exhaling a breath that he didn't know he was holding. knowing where he was going to be was somewhat helpful just needed to gather up with his team and see what everyone specialized in. Might as well as get as much information while he can before he headed down into the chasm.
Not being able to shake the feeling of someone staring at him making his skin craw. Dee's eye looking around again slowly taking another look over to area while a white haired female comes into his view, well the top of her head comes into veiw. " Yui.. why are you here?.." Dee thinks to himself but before he could put his notepad away and ask her that very question she answered that question. Her poor signing, the uncomfortable way she held her hands before moving into the next word slow and clumsy Dee preferred her like this then to the normal way she carried herself. Reminding of a bird being slowly squeezed to death before being devoured. flipping his notepad and sliding it into his pocket and immediately going into signing, " Hello Blue Bird. I did not know you would be here" Dee's hands moving smoothly but quickly, each movement precise to get his point across. Dee still refused to call Yui by her name. " You Are Improving, Can You Keep Up With Me?" he ask to find out just how well she was able to read him now. Following her eyes with his own to the large horse girl before moving his hands again this time to reach into the Med-kit strapped to his waist pulling out 4 glass test tubes his hand reaching for hers and placing them in her palm before his hands start moving again to speak " Anti-Venom" he not wanting to be the reason one of his sisters friends fell in a fight. "Introduce Me." he ask Bluebird(Yui), not sure on just how many people understood him and not wanting to have to go thought the confused stares for to long.
Auburn remained impassive as one of the winged girls retorted to her comments."Perh-"She cut off, cocking her brow as the impulsive one also responded. Granted, Auburn had no actual education, but she highly doubted the girl was even forming coherent sentences."No. Mean is breaking someone and using their bone as a knife against them. Mean is calling into question how smart someone is based on how they speak. I have done the first and could do the second. But, calling out bad behaviour habits is logical."
Just then, some military guy stepped up, calling them pipsqueaks, causing her to c**k her brow.as she looked down at him. Once he had finished, she returned her attention to those she'd spoken with, including the other winged girl and the one who had insisted on learning people's strengths and weaknesses."Auburn. I have no last name. Team Rockfall. Strength is my strength. I can carry up to five hundred pounds without any help and my semblance just makes me stronger. If I had to name an issue that could possibly hinder me...I suffer extensive permanent nerve damage, especially along my back and can fail to notice an injury there. Obviously, My preference is for close-quarters combat, though, I adapt quickly in a fight.." As she spoke, she grabbed one of the offered kits and latched it to her utility belt before turning to see along the edge, several people setting up what she assumed was the rappelling anchors and ropes. Meanwhile, Dee passed over a vial and Auburn cocked her brow as she looked it over, not quite sure what it was.
Weapon(s): Judgement is a massive sword that is 77" long, 14" wide and weighs 54 lbs, but, has no unique properties other than that. Auburn is able to wield this beast of a blade, even one-handed, because of her Semblance.
However, her boots and gauntlets are equipped with mini cannon-like guns that fire off dust rounds. (See Mission for image of gauntlets and boots)

She'd never met someone quite as curtly rude as her, yet, she also got the feeling she flat out had no idea how else to act. She seemed distant even in the middle of things and she could sense barriers in place. Well-rehearsed ones. The horse girl did not care about sensibilities. Genuinely. Sky could only wonder what could have possibly happened to her to warrant that. She then turned back as Yui responded to her about her challenge.”Might be. I ain't so bad flyin at speed, but, I'm willin ta bet you ain't got me in a dive.”
Like the rest, her attention turned to the Officer, though, she clearly took the term pipsqueak a little more offensively. She crossed her arms before mumbling."Bein small ain't always a bad thing..."It helped that there were a couple of people closer to her stature here, but, most were very noticeably taller than her, something she was pretty self conscious about. And, aside from the girl in the mech suit, who looked like she could be twelve, every girl there but Sky had some degree of development that made their gender fairly clear, but, Sky looked like a slightly girly boy, which was another concern for her. She refocused though as others stated introductions. When she found a break, she joined in.
My name is Skylar Louise Aerodel, though, everyone just calls me Sky. Team Solar. And I'm the A in it, so, I ain't in charge. Like I said earlier, I ain't much in a fight, but, I'm a decent shot with a rifle. My semblance ain't really practical fer where we'll be though. I can manipulate the tonal frequencies of sound I project by alterin the air pressure round me ta make sonic-like ranged attacks. Snapping out of her thoughts Yuki heard more and more feet hit the ground. Maybe even the creation of a small crater. "Wow! So many people!" she chirped clapping her hands happily. She bounced up and down slightly physically showing her giddiness. Her eyes landed on a member of her team. Tabby. She thinks? Maybe Tabitha, but she prefers Tabby? Yeah, that sounds about right. She was only briefly able to read the files of her teammates considering this mission happened so soon after her enrollment. There were so many people of so many sizes and backgrounds all huddled into one area. It was fantastic! She couldn't help but to look at them all and start shipping them in her head. "And she'll pair with him. And him with her. And her with her. Oh it's just so cute! Love and romance are the best!" she thought. The girl couldn't hold back her squeal even though this is an important mission, and her first, she just couldn't contain herself. She took a few deep breath and rests her hand atop her chest calming herself. She looked around to see if she could spot the rest of her team. "I see Tabby. She over there getting feisty with a giant woman." she nonchalantly examined. "Where would the others be?" she pondered biting her pointer finger nail. As she scanned the crowd she noticed Fran and gave her happy wave with a smile to match. She continued to search throughout the crowds Familiar faces Surfaced immediately. Chase and Scarlet! Both safe and accounted for. And Chase's hound. Cuuuuute! Before she could approach any of her teammates A man with an air of authority gave them an extremely brief rundown. "Being watched! Rappelling! Sternguard! No idea what 's down there! Grab a pack! Got it!" she cemented in her head. The first she approached was Tabby. Yuki noticed Tabby was a bit distracted by the badge and may have missed a few of the instructions. With two taps to the shoulder she tried to get her teammates attention. "Hello, Tabby! I'm glad to see you. Wanna meet up with the team and make a plan?" she asked with a warm smile. Post Count: 12

Geez, not even a moment's rest and already some tension. Fran walked towards more to the herd so she can scan it's entirety, if it was. It was then that a bunch of others also came from the airship... or the sky. Nonetheless, the group did get bigger, more full. Ah, it did have ladders. Woe is me, Fran thought watching some students get off normally. A bunch of people started gathering with each other, greeting each other. Must be nice, are they teammates or just friends? Acquaintances maybe? It is an academy after all so it wouldn't be weird to have different friends aside from team members. Although, not all are friendly to each other, at least not in the tone of their voices. Especially that one that called others idiots, Fran thought as she nodded to herself. Gotta avoid that one. She then noticed Yukino moving towards the rather rambunctious woman who Fran would rather avoid as well. Noticing her gesture, Fran waved back.Familiarity +1!
For the others, just catching up on each other, making sure they were there and alright. The one who seems to be named Dee was holding out something, Fran couldn't be bothered to look at what it was as she made her way towards an interesting fellow. Of course, she wanted to go the the white haired maiden of her liking but as she was gliding down, poorly, she heard this certain fellow claim that he's the Prince of paws. Anyone claiming to be a prince is already interesting enough, but a Prince OF Paws is just cherry on top. However, it was then that this military guy came and got everyone's attention. Such a hog.
After listening to what he had to say about the overall authority of the mission, his name, where to go to, who to go with, who'll help with what, Fran continued on with her plans, oh and he did say something about team positions too. "How your day been, Prince" Fran asks in jest. If she wasn't surrounded by a flock of Faunus, Fran would've probably not joke around with one, but partnerships are important, Trust more so. "I'm Fran by the way, I'll call you prince, no handshakes needed, and you said Paws. You into paws or something?"
As Fran said her piece to the guy in front of her, the others started their introductions. Without missing a beat, and not even waiting for a response, Fran joined in and introduced herself as well, pulling Prince with her. "Name's Francheska Waesche, Team Paws. Here is Prince, Prince of Paws, Nice to meet you all! We'll be guarding your sterns, I mean sternguards, same thing really. Cute sterns too."
Ren could hear so many people, his ears flicking about while he stood by Yui as he seemed to contain his excitement while he waited for Yui's usual anoyed response. That was until she turned to see him and he caught a glimpse of a smile. He hid his inner excitement and nodded his head in return to her before he soon said, "I'm perfectly well." He told her with a big smile, not really wanting to divulge in his recent affairs of running from Snakes and doing whatever he could to fight his fears, yet he didn't realize his own skin pigmentation had changed. He watched as Sakura finally joined them along with the newest member of their team. Sakura was giving them a good insight of information that Ren didn't REALLY understand, but was being nice and nodding his head with his left hand up to hold his chin as he nodded. THEN THIS NEW FUDGER COMES ALONG and tells them all of their positionings, he and his team would be up front apparently as he sighed before he soon heard talk of semblances. "I won't be able to effectively use my semblance unless someone is too much of a scaredy cat." He told them with a smile, and then realized they were about to go into a cave. He snuck a hand into his pack and pulled out a cold beer before cracking it open and taking a drink.
"Like me." He mumbled inbetween his drinks while Yui was making interesting hand gestures to their newest party member, causing him to smile as he stood beside them, polishing off his beer with a light burp before he covered his mouth. "Excuse me." He told them with a smile as it was running it's course through his system at a slow rate, yet the feeling of beer in his gut did help to ease his nerves. Company: So many people! The wave of emotions that was present in this situation was going to leave poor prince confused. He said what he said for a reason. He was team PAWS and his name was Prince. That, kind of how it went. However, his mind was too innocent to catch the drift that would later be presented. Staying to himself, there were others dropping in and coming to meet with their squadmates. Where was PAWS? This was their first mission and it was a big one. Looking back over to the groups forming, the same crazy woman from the ship was linking up with others. She seemed naturally hyper and loud. Scary when it comes to Usien. Actually, most of the students were frightening to him. Not in the way of running from a clown but more shyness like a child in a room full of strangers. Then, there was this guy. Prince’s color was almost blasted away from his skin. Scared to the color of Casper, he slowly turned towards the authoritarian figure. Instead of them figuring it out, they were giving them guidelines. With that, team PAWS were going to be covering the rear. That meant they were back up if someone attacked form front and they also was keeping someone from attacking the rear. He didn’t know his team or the other team’s semblance and his was kind of iffy. It could help get them out of a jam if they were to get caved in. Maybe. Or not. Actually, his semblance only increased density. Or something. He wasn’t even remembering what his semblance does due to the situation. With the instructions over, Prince was filled with fear. He could not do this! Could he even fight grim effectively? He fought, a person before and that ended with him getting licked. A grim that want to kill him. He stood no chance.
Collecting himself for a moment, he was about to go get a survival pack before he was spoken to. The words of the female entered his ears causing him to jolt away a few inches. One of his guns dropping off his body to the ground of the cave. “Ahh…oh…. sorry” he responds catching his breath. How was someone saying hi so scary? “I just trying to, get this day over with. And for my heart to stop.” What did he mean by that? He wanted to die? No, he wasn’t suicidal, and he probably should have explained his bad expression. Too bad rational thoughts weren’t going through his head. “Yes…Prince…its….” Wait what idea was she getting? “No, not that. I not into Paws. Our team name is Paws” Why was she saying these things! He was getting flustered. The red coming to his face gradually as he failed to try explaining himself. When he attempted again, he was pulled. NO! NO NO NO NO! HE WAS NOT ONE TO LIKE BEING TOUCHED! His spider limbs naturally curled to make Prince hug himself tightly, a natural motion that occurs when he was touched unknowingly. It was like, a defense mechanism and helped keep him calm.
Being pulled along, she introduced herself to the group. Her last name now making sense to how PAWS was even able to be created in first place. She introduced him as well and his face was burning up, the complexion redder than a candy apple. PRINCE OF PAWS? She really was running with this title?! Trying to hide behind her but limited by her still holding on, he couldn’t help but notice due to context clues her flirting. Cute sterns? This caused him to look at the teams more with concentration on their sterns. Spoiler alert, considering he couldn’t talk to women and some even made him faint, how do you think him looking at sterns went? Taking in the sight of the different shapes and sizes of the sterns. He understood what Fran meant but it came at a cost. A thud could be heard along with the sound of another gun dropping against the rocky surface. He fainted! Hopefully, he didn’t drag Fran down with him. She was smart. She most likely knew to let go

While Chase had thought himself sufficiently distant from others, he had failed to notice how close another person was to him. It was the mech suit person, which he honestly had considered more machine than person when he touched down. It was why he didn't move a further distance away from the machine, and by extension her. So while looking for dangers, he felt surprise creep into him as his gaze swung towards the girl in the exo suit as he heard a soft voice speak. He was surprised by the softness of the voice as he would expect someone in a suit like that to... well he wasn't sure what to expect. It wasn't the voice he heard, that was certain though. Turning fully to face the mech as he now saw the girl inside... Was more surprising. She seemed fairly petite, from what he could see of her in the mech suit, exo suit... he wasn't quite sure what to call it. While he was inventive, he never delved in robotics to a significant degree. As she spoke of not lighting his lantern around her, him only inferring such as he followed the general direction of her gaze, he would actually be able to maintain "eye contact". Mostly because he noticed she wore pitch- black eye wear, so he could not truly tell what she was looking at just the general direction. She would then continue to speak saying she was photo sensitive, and that normal lighting blinded her. Chase would merely nod in response to her, acknowledging that he heard what she said as he thought of it. He knew not the vision of others, and if there were many humans there would be many lights down in that cave for them to see. If she were outnumbered he would have no choice but to light the lantern. Though he wondered how she would see in a dark cavern with no lights. But, he did not dwell on it long long before she spoke again about wanting to see without her goggle early. To which Chase would nod, but say little else. 'Wish I could promise not to, but the decision lies on the group.' He silently thought to himself, not voicing such thoughts. He did not feel comfortable talking with a stranger, even if she seemed friendly enough.
As Chase was going to look at the descriptions of his assigned team to find them, he found his attention taken by a tall military man almost dressed in badges. Chase wondered how much of a target that may make him in the field, though he doubted he would dress as such on actual missions. 'Unnecessary way to get attention.' Chase thought to himself, but had assumed this from standard military types. So he didn't take offense to it in the slightest or really cared to comment; he was more interested in what was to be said as he garnered everyone's attention. He clarified first that Beacon was given authority over the mission, but that the military would be watching. And for beacon to be given authority meant the military gave it to them. 'So the military are the ones that are truly in charge.' Chase thought to himself. He would introduce himself as Commander Adao, and say that after being equipped they would enter down into the cavern. What was most important from that though was the team assignments, as two were given Vanguard and the other stern guard. While Chase was unfamiliar with his team personally, he knew he was assigned to Nightshade. 'So I am to guard the rear in case of surprise attack.' He noted to himself silently.
As soon as he finished wishing them luck and the instructions delivered, it seemed the more vocal leaders of the teams were coming up with a plan. People began introducing themselves and their capabilities, which Chase was eager to avoid. Even though he thought he saw a member of the Lioncourt family, he could not afford to verify it as she seemed to be near a great deal of people. An area he was actively avoiding. He would maybe, maybe, be able to introduce himself and his abilities to his team. To fifteen other people though? The chance was pretty much nil. Especially as he heard someone say something about a cute dog. He had little illusion they may be referring to his hound, so he needed to escape before said person approached him or drew more attention to him. So rather than waste time, and potentially be forced to speak or draw attention to himself, he would just go straight for the mission seeing as everything was already set out for them. So Chase would gesture to his hound to follow as he made his way to the table with survival packs, taking one for himself as he strapped it to his back. He would check what was in it later, as he wanted away from the group as fast as possible. The less time he spent up here, the higher the chance he could escape notice. He quickly made his way to where the teachers and staff were helping to put on the rappelling gear as he aided in the process for his hound as much as he could. He was growing familiar with having to do things he was not used to and adapting it to his hound. Once they were both geared up for it, and checked for safety by the staff, he would pat his dog on the head. He was ready to begin. Though a thought did cross his mind. Looking over to a staff member, he would type out a message to tell team Night Shade he would be in the cavern already and left a picture of himself on their scroll so they could find him. Once they acknowledged it, he would begin rappelling down. He also noted the person with the large sword was by the edge as well, but he seemed to be the first to go down. He was eager to escape the group and begin the mission; so he could go back to his introverted life style as soon as possible. Grimm were much easier to deal with than people after all.
