Personality: Even from a young age, it has always been obvious that Winde had a way with words. Personality: First and foremost, Iirte is a survivalist. She knows just how to survive in harsh and trying environments, and she will go to extremes to stay alive. She is strong of mind and quick on her feet. While she is well aware that some battles would require her to retreat, she is more likely to go through with the fight anyways and will surrender if she has no other options. She will not submit to just any lion. It would have to be someone she could grow to respect. She is the type who can only respect those who are similar to her. Namely, those who fight for what they believe in and know when it is best to surrender honorably rather than die in vain.

History: Iirte was born far to the north, in a pride that was considered to have been cursed. The grasses were dry and the prey was scarce. Because of the dire conditions, the pride had grown small and was on the verge of extinction. The young were given priority and the wise elders died slow painful deaths due to starvation. It was in this desperate era that Iirte was born. Her birth name had been Zamsa. Blessing or a curse? Only time would tell what her birth would bring to the pride.

Zamsa grew up in a pride riddled with death, a pride where getting a full belly was considered a privilege. These harsh conditions molded her into a lioness who was determined to live, and even as time passed and many of her pride mates succumbed to death she lived on. And then it finally happened. In her early youth, the first of her parents finally fell to the deteriorating conditions. Zamsa could only watch in horror as her father died. In the weeks that followed his death, her mother's already weak spirit faded. Until finally the lioness took her own life rather than waste away.

Zamsa was disgusted with her mother's choice, and she rose quickly in the ranks as she grew. She became a soldier, and helped her pride expand into another nearby pride's territory. With their takeover, the pride finally flourished and grew in strength. Unfortunately, the pride didn't have time to enjoy their new found prosperity. That night a thunderstorm tore through the lands, and one fateful lightning strike set the foliage ablaze. The rest of the pride, heavy with the spoils of victory, didn't escape. Zamsa was the only one to live.

And from that day on, she took a new name.

Personality: Ndugu has always been a little bit awkward, and he often speaks without thinking things through. Personality: In just a few words, Badai is charming, intelligent, and remarkably accepting of anyone who falls outside the norm. He's a veritable master of words, and always seems to know just the right thing to say to smooth over the worst tensions, whether it be through a display of wit or shameless flattery. But the downside is he's also flirtatious, easy to bore, and extremely overprotective once he attaches to someone. Personality: If one thing can be said of Muli, it would be that most find it difficult to have a bad time with her. She's a bit of a prankster, and will often drag whoever is with her into whatever she has planned for the day - whether its sticking some feathers to a unsuspecting lion with honey or trying to confuse them by saying every fifth word backwards. But it's all in good fun for her, and there's never truly any ill will behind her harmless jokes. Her main goal with it is to the pride laughing, even if its sometimes because they fell for a simple prank. Besides, most of the pride should know her well enough by now to know not to let their guard down when she's around.

Personality: Unlike her mother, Shula doesn't have a rebellious bone in her body. Sure, she's a bit of a spitfire, but she'd never disobey a male and can be extremely polite when necessary. She is extremely loyal to both the Sultan and her Pad, and would be more than willing to attack a rebellious Kajira herself if the males didn't do it for her. She is generally detached from most of the pride, simply because she feels closer to her 'owner' than she does to anyone else. Although she wouldn't object to casual socializing with fellow harem girls.

History: Shula's story starts with her mother, Biàn.

Biàn was born a Fire Noble in the Arba'Sehemu lands, and most of her early life was uneventful. She was betrothed at a young age and grew up in the lands a spoiled brat. It was during the ritual dual required for two engaged members of the Fire Nation to become mates that her life changed. Spoiled as she was, she didn't feel the need to seriously fight her future husband. And so, she threw the dual.

This was found out by her parents and she was instantly brought before the Fire Lord and banished from the lands. And she couldn't easily fit in among the other clans, so she eventually left the lands of her birth. It was during this time as a rogue that she was captured by a Pad on his coming of age right, and became a Kajira in the pride.

She quickly learned that in order to survive, she had to lay low. While she never became part of a Pad's harem, she did bear a litter of cubs while in the pride. Among those born was Shula, who was soon bartered away. Her life was fairly easy, and it wasn't long before she became a Banu to Sultan Qasim. She didn't much care for her siblings, and her mother finally rebelled and was killed shortly after she became a juvenile. Her female siblings remained Kajira, and one by one they too were killed for rebellion until Shula was the only remaining female of her mother's blood. Her brotherss never returned from their Coming of Age quests, and were soon assumed deceased by the pride.

After Qasim's death, Shula was passed down to Aali, and is extremely loyal to him and the pride. She had eventually been gifted to another Pad by Aali as a gesture of good will. Not long after being given away, she accompanied her new Pad on a raid. Unfortunately, her Pad was killed during the raid. Even with a chance at freedom, Shula began the journey back home. It was during this journey that she met up with Damudours'vlam, who decided to accompany her back to the Ukuucha'Wafalme. Although willing, Damu ended up claiming the lioness as his "capture" required to join the pride... Resulting in Shula becoming his first Banu.
