PERSONALITY: Mwanjaa had a hard start in life. She lost most of those close to her at a young age and has no interest in making close, personal friends. Friends are a weakness, she believes. Even family can make one weak, and Mwanjaa learned the hard way that she – nor any other animal in the desert – can survive their weakness. She is a gluttonous eater, devouring anything she can get her paws on. She is not picky about her food either, and prefers to bully others away from their kills than hunt for herself. She’s a big girl, and generally manages this very well. Mwanjaa is not necessarily unkind or discourteous to others, she is willing to make friendly acquaintances well enough, but she has no desire to form close bonds.
On the other hand, Mwanjaa loves cubs and pups. She’ll go out of her way to put food in their bellies and keep them safe, even if they’re not her own. She can be viciously protective of younglings, and her greatest wish is to become a mother one day.

PERSONALITY: Uwriyel knows exactly what he wants to do when he grows up – he wants to be the best of the best of the firekin soldiers. He has a strong sense of justice, carefully dividing what he believes his right from wrong – his youth has made him paint the world in black and white, and he is unshaking in his convictions. He’s argumentative and pig-headed, often straining his ties with others with ceaseless arguments. He refuses to admit he’s wrong, and would sooner stick his nose in the air and walk away from a friendship. He has a lot of growing to do, mentally, especially if he wants to be able to work well with other soldiers in his adulthood.

PERSONALITY: In his youth, Tapiwa would have been called the ‘class clown.’ He’s always up to antics and making a fool of himself to impress others. He’s jovial and full of humour, willing to do whatever it takes to get a laugh or a smile out of those around him. He thrives on attention and always tries his hardest to outshine those around him… but he’s not an especially good worker. He’d much rather play the fool and have some good laughs instead.
