Calypso flowed along a current, her eyes closed and the water rushing past her face as it rushed on it's way through the ocean. The beads on her head dancing with the flow as she began twisting her body around making an appearance of an underwater dance in the large body of liquid. Opening her eyes she shifted her weight and slid out of the stream as it continued flowing deeper into the ocean's depths. The sea queen reached her paws out and thrusted forward sending her down towards the bottom towards a coral reaf which spread for miles along the ocean floor. She turned her gaze to the fish as they swam past her, not even giving her a second glance for they knew she wouldn't harm any of them. It was a pleasant afternoon in the warm waters with so many colors to offer her sights and many more sounds to be heard with the activity of the reef.

Settling at the bottom of the ocean floor, Calypso reached a paw out and gently touched an urchin which retracted it's barbs as soon as her paw came into contact. Smiling she offered it a kiss and then pushed off the rock it was resting on and began to slowly float just above the coral, making sure to leave enough room for them to grow without being disturbed. Releasing a sigh, Calypso began to focus her attention on a school of fish which began to dance around the open water just above where she was, their scales reflecting the sun created a splendid glimmer to their motions. "Mystical." She said to herself as she continued to watch them with their many twists and turns to collect kelp from the water around them.

It was rare for this blue and grey Uudesea to leave her secluded sea cavern deep beneath the waves. She had laid dormant for a long time now, as it was her nature to sleep days away after roaming through the ocean for extended periods of time. However, even this sleepy swimmer needed to eat, and her writhing stomach told her that now was that time. Intense yellow eyes slowly opened, glazed over with apparent exhaustion as she woke from her slumber. A disgruntled, drowsy grumble emitted from her throat as she uncurled herself, stretching her tail. She lifted her head from her paws, shaking it in attempt to drive away her morning fatigue, then curled her lips back over her gleaming white teeth, glaring down at the pool beside her. With a disdainful lash her finned tail, she pulled herself towards the edge of the water, then dove in. It would have been an ungraceful flop if it had been executed by any normal Ulaya, but this was no normal Ulaya. She was Kyogre, a queen of the sea in her own right. Although, she preferred not the think of herself as some sort of queen, but a leviathan, a creature to be both adored and feared, awe-inspiring, much like the sea itself.

That pool was not some closed body of water; it was the entrance and exit to her abode at the bottom of he sea. Descending to the bottom of the pool was an opening in the wall of the rock, just large enough for creatures of her size to fit through, granted, she was not very small. She entered head first, beating her powerful tail in rhythmic motions, providing the forward thrust she required to drive her body forward, quickly maneuvering her way out of her cavern and out into the open sea. She kept to the sea floor, gazing up, searching for an appropriate meal to surprise from below. Her paws remained tucked tightly beneath her body, for an adept swimmer such has herself did not require their assistance. Although, even she could not deny their usefulness in underwater scuffles or holding onto prey. Extra appendages did indeed come in handy.

There were waves, then. She could feel these disturbances in the water, and she came to a stop, hovering above the sand. They were too big to be caused by anything she could see or any commonplace fish, yet they were too small to be caused by some whale. She blinked, contemplating. What could it be? Her paws twitched with the thought. Bigger meals were always nice. It was not unusual for her to hunt sharks or dolphins or other seafaring predators. They were tasty, too. With an inward smile, she continued forward, slower now, as to not disturb the water too much. She did not want to frighten whatever this creature was away. She was too hungry for smaller fish, after all. With a number of slower, smaller tail beats, a silhouette of a being finally came into view. She squinted, coming to yet another stop. Then the voice came, sound reverberating through the water, carrying to her ears. They twitched, and it took her a moment to realize what this creature was. She could not believe it. This was her domain, and other Uudesea never ventured to the sea floor. In their eyes, this was a desolate, dark place, far from the light and the life which thrived in higher, shallower waters. This was her home, the place she knew best, and she never encountered others down here. This Uudesea interested her.

Kyogre pressed her paws into the ground, then pushed up, swimming quickly towards the other female. She stopped several feet away, eyes fixed on the other's decorated form. "Others of our kind do not descend this far down," she began, voice surprisingly smooth despite its lack of use. "Who are you?"

The sudden, yet soft, voice of the other uudesea almost startled Calypso as she was completely entranced in the sounds of the wildlife which were pleasantly putting on a colorful show for her. Turing her head upward she reached out and pawed at the ground which gave her the proper momentum to turn her body back to an upright position but still parallel to the surface above. The bold blue body of the other uudesea stood before her, reflections dancing across her figure giving her an amazing camouflage. "Oh, hello." Calypso replied as she offered her paw to a wandering crab. Her attention was always in many places for she never wanted to miss a beat in the ocean. The crab gently climbed onto her paw as she raised it to her chest and began patting the shelled creature. "I'm Calypso, born queen of the sea." She then fixated her attention back to the uudesea which had approached her so silently she didn't even notice her presence. "I'm just here checking on the residents of the waters, I haven't been able to visit them for many a moon and I like to make sure everyone is alright." She then allowed the crab to climb back down onto the reef below and she rested her paw under herself, allowing it to settle within the water. "I don't believe I've ever met you, though." She had a pleasant yet curious smile as she studied Kyogre's body, it was a unique one that she was sure she would have recognized.

"How long have you been down here?" She simply had to learn more about this new uudesea for it wasn't often she finally got to meet another of her own species. The ocean was a vast area and so much space in between she never had time to stop and hold a conversation. "Even with this much wildlife it's still a lonely place, if you're down here by yourself for too long." She only stated this because it was apparent to her that this uudesea didn't leave her home very often. Calypso proceeded to allow her attention to wander again, fixing her eyes on a clown fish who was coming out of it's home to greet them.
