HyTech RP Announcement~!
Thank you all for the enthusiastic participation in the entire event~! whee We had a lotalot of fun doing the Wonderland and Looking Glass motif this year, and you all tackled the events and contests with a veyrvery motivating enthusiasm, hee~ heart I think we can definitely say that the entire joint event has been a great success, and only because of all of you~!
Since the HyTech half of the event is an RP contest, it will take a while for us to judge~~ [ sweatdrop Last year was terrifying~!! we had a meeting and the cat went flying~! crying ] The estimated time for the results is about a week, but we may be able to announce it earlier than that~ 3nodding We will definitely keep you informed for the final results!
Otherwise, just for a brief overview, here are the stats for the HyTech half of the event~ whee
A total of 37 RP entries were submitted, 24 for the Jabberwocky, 21 for the Dormouse, and 21 for the Greater Flamingo!
A total of 333 flower lytes were plucked and delivered [with 14 left to be plucked and delivered~ sweatdrop ]

SORRY JUN IS POSTING AFTER HAHAHA Maxx D Here we are, the C*cktail moment features our resident purdy flower Superman [cheer for Kent] getting our favourite meerkat Femi a glass of WATER. Traditional media and limited Copic colours make Kent look particularly virulent environmentally friendly! But there we go, and it was fun staring at Femi's inventory, Kait. wink On the other hand, with what's coming - don't listen to whatever self-depreciatory stuff Jun says. 8D Jun D Sorry we made you wait so long for the Kodak Moment Photo, Prom-attendees! [And sorry, everyone, for not hanging around the event lately - I'll be back now that it's finally done. ^^;;] It's all my fault, Maxx had the C*cktail-related Photo ready and waiting for days, but I...uh...let's just say there's a reason why he's the colourist... Jun D I really liked the image of Amara-the-substitute-bartender mixing up a daiquiri for Banyan with her tongue sticking out, and I really wanted to draw Banyan in her lovely Syr-designed dress [even though I ended up leaving out the important bits *fail*] - but a few other moments certainly deserved an appearance! Unfortunately I am so bad with perspective, anatomy, and faux-crowd scenes...so this is what you get. XD;; Even as...dubious as it is, I think I bit off more than I can chew... *cry* I suck so hard at CGing, it took me three days to do this - I don't think the next Fest prize will be a CG with more than two-three people in it...but I hope you'll still enter! XD;; DX I SRY I SUCK! With this heroic act, the threat of Arkham has been diffused [except for all the Killer Crocs running about the place now I guess] and the streets of Gotham are safe once more! The star of the hour goes home with a mysterious tube that will turn really emo in a couple of weeks pls don't get shot by a mugger on the way back from a Zorro screening...
CONGRATULATIONS ALSO TO DOWNSIGHT FOR PAYING MAXWELL 6.5MIL SCORING THAT VERITABLE VENUS FLYTRAP THAT IS POISON IVY!
That also makes our streets safer in some way!
All helpful citizens who, uh, intercepted Joker's deadly darts and battled the forces of Arkham Asylum, we thank you so much for your outstanding participation, and hope that you've enjoyed an October's worth of crimefighting! [In other words, thank you so much for participating in our geeky ghetto event, sorry for all the snags, and really really hope you've enjoyed it in some way! As you might have seen, the winner of our 2nd Gen auction is one over three, a late contender who put up a magnificent show. Congratulations, one over three! smile And our thanks to all the bidders with your admirable willingness to throw money at us. It is always appreciated.

We would've persisted with HyTech otherwise, yeah, but it could've been a hell lot lonelier! lol Many of you have fleshed our art into tremendously entertaining characters and we do hope that this trend will continue. For the old-new and the new faces [and lurkers, where'er you may be], thanks for reassuring us that HyTech has further boundaries to be approached. But again, everyone, thank you loads.

So it took me a lot longer than it should have, but the Byte Directory is now not only completely up to date but totally revamped! 8D ...*cricket* Uh...well...if you would like to get your Bytes' names recorded in the directory, also proceed here and follow the instructions. You can request uncerts, if there's actually anyone remotely interested in that for Bytes, but since the data for this is mostly stored on Maxx's...somewhat jungly computer, it may take a while. ^^;;; 3. Reannouncing sig-friendly certing - we've mentioned this before, but it seems like a good time to mention it again: some of our previous certs are over the 100kb sig-limit; if you would like for your certs to be within the sig-limit, just PM us and we will recert it asap. Another Christmas has gone by, which means that another HyTech event must end. Oh the woe! How could we come to the end of this brilliance of commercialism and the bright lights of capitalism this globally significant holiday?!?! How could our event rely on such a pithy thing as time-zones?!?! Well we all must have deadlines somehow. So -
Kristmas Kraken
When in Kristmas with a K we konsulted the kosmos on Random.org and kinda sacrificed a khicken [okay that doesn't work] to get a One True Result (TM) and the OTR is quite horrifyingly....

This is some sikk stuff, kosmos.
But Kthulhu fhtagn, and ::is threatened by giant tentacles:: Cthulhu apprently fhtagned an unprecedented number of tickets, which are quite obskene, and thank you all for your kind donations to our Salvation Sleevies. Raffle rewards aren't as time-sensitive [although I am sure they expire next year; such is the way of Salvation] so if you've got the right amount of tickets to redeem fun stuff from that aren't already, please let us know very, very soon.
By the way if you enjoyed the raffle rewards, do let us know here. We thought it'd be nice for those who didn't win the raffle to have some fun prizes anyway, and that was indeed the actual intention, not go and buy tickets if you want that banketstaaf and that magah bird. lol If we did what we hoped, we'll try to do so again for all future raffles.

There weren't many applications for this dandy little fella, but what there were are bloody amazing. We hope you'll agree that the prompt was great fun, and reading through them again just gave me a nice, weird sort of grin. But down to the line, I'm 1.5hrs late, so the goat's milk eggnog winner is Rabid Ice Weasel!

The results for the Scottish Highlands Flatsale are out. First, this is the basic rundown on how we decided to randomise the list, so that you understand we made it as fair as possible.
For each Hyte, the list of applications is randomised at the List Randomiser of Random.org three times. The winner of each round is then put into a list of three, and then randomised one final time for the conclusive result.
Through this system, we have produced the winners:

Blackface Sheep, now named Blair - DownSight
Shetland Sheepdog, now named Aodhan - Mewsings of An Angel

It looks great! You should see it in the Album~~~ 4laugh Maxx D There might be someone out there who will wonder irately "Why did they take on Bya's commish for Kamiko's Career stage when they have RLC on their hands?!" We had a lot of back and forth with Bya on this, and let's just say by the time we figured out all the details and issues with this stage, we figured we had to compensate for all her time that we took up. Hold tight, we're doing what we can, and thanks for being patient. That said, there're some interesting things about Kamiko's new stage! The pose and costume are homages to another non-powered superhero, and Bya was very specific on what she wanted and all the details, so it went smoothly. Glad you like her, Bya. We also added two pieces of fanart to the Album, by DownSight and Mystaira, both which are for Maxx's birthday~!! biggrin If I've missed out any fanart from the last fanart up date till this one, pleaseplease please let me know and I'm reallyreally sorry about that! I'll put them in as fast as I can~~~

Jun here~! We're really sorry nothing much is happening right now - due to some unforeseen circumstances [and foreseen circumstances such as the new school semester...], the staff have been really busy - but we've definitely got a lot more planned for this year, though some events may have to be conflated and/or delayed.
We're really pleased that our dear regulars have stepped up to the bat in our absence [oh, who am I kidding, you guys are the only ones who keep the thread alive XD;;;] though - and I'm proud to draw your attention to...
