Dragon's PostArafel Delta with a copper. O: Why? Cause their fun loving nature would match. I was also thiking a bronze cause of their love for animals, but the whole "water dragon + dog = wet dog smell" put that off. I love Arafels Reasoning XD.

About SheltiesKingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Mammalia Order: Canis familiaris Family: Herding dog The Shetland Sheepdog is an outstanding companion dog with a delightful temperament. It is lively, intelligent, trainable, and willing to please and obey. Shelties are loving, loyal, and affectionate with their family, but are naturally aloof with strangers and might not appreciate being petted by someone they do not know; for this reason Shelties must be socialized extensively. Most Shelties, if encouraged, will warm up to strangers if given time. Some can be quite reserved and some have varying degrees of shyness. Although they are excellent family pets, Shelties do especially well with children if they are raised with them from an early age; however, their small size makes it easy for a child to accidentally injure them, so supervision is necessary. Shelties have a reputation as vocal dogs, but that might be undeserved. Ill-bred dogs often display a terrier-like personality--hyper and yappy, always on the go--but can just as easily be overly timid and may become a fear-biter. The intelligent Sheltie can be trained to be an excellent watch dog, and not yappy, giving two or three barks to alert its owner to a person at the door or to something amiss. However, three or more Shelties constitute a pack, and thus barking is harder to control. The herding instinct is still strong in many Shelties. They love to chase things, including squirrels, ducks, and children, and when people are milling around the yard, Shelties sometimes try to "herd" the people into a group by running around, barking, and nipping at heels. This tendency appears most when children run around the yard in a group. Shelties usually love to play. They do best with a sensitive, yet firm, owner. The Sheltie is, above all, an intelligent herder and likes to be kept busy, although their activity level usually coincides with their owner's level. Photo's:

Stages and Requirements
Toddler: 2-4 First stage the child is made, and given to a carefully selected gaian.
The toddler is highly dependant on it's new parent, wether ofr jsut food or sometimes transportation. Some may be going through delicate processes of metamorphoses, a tadpole to a frog, a catterpillar to a butterfly.. Or, they're just a young child in need of love and care. Along with learning their basics of knowlage, such as the abcs, 123s, and social behaviors... No matter what it is, it's your job to raise them right. Good luck!
Requirements:
1 months length Knowlage of ABCs [x] Knowlage of 1-10 [x] 2 PlayDates [2/2] 1 journal entry from either parents or child's POV
Child: 5-7 Second stage, child is assigned an egg to take care of with the help of the lab (it's left in the lab to keep required heating)
Your child's maturing, your influnce as well as others have shaped their growth. Now they can speak fluently, write, read... All of that stuff. And as such, they get to come see their dragon egg. Which will be their partner for life. At the same time, they start learning more about their capabilities, learning what they can do (as a genetically altered being) that makes them special. And while there are some they may learn on their own, theres also what they learn in a class of specialized professionals. They're still dependent on you as a parent though, and if you don't get it right now the next coming years are going to be alot less fun.
Requirements:
2 months length (january) Pass 1 special skill test [x]/[x] 1 egg visit [x] 4 Playdates, [4/4] 1 journal entry from Parent's POV 1 from child. Choice of another Journal entry, or a Journal RP Vaccinations [x]/[x]
Preteen: 8-12 Third stage, the egg has hatched and children begin attending training classes.
This stage marks that awkward phase where you think you're grown up, but you're not quite there yet. They're now starting to shape their own personalities. They don't need you to hodl their hand while crossing the street anymore. And their dragon egg hatches at this time, in which a large reptillian like creature comes to stay wherever you may be residing. The goal is for the two to be best friends. Also, classes begin to progress. Your child is now offered magic and melee. These will teach the basics of both, in which they'll learn which they like and which they don't like. And they'll get to know their dragons.
Requirements:
3 Months length Pass another special skill test[x]/[x] Take 1 dragon informational class[x]/[x] Pass 3 Melee tests, [x]/[x] pass 3 magic tests. [x]/[x] 5 Playdates, 1 Journal entry from parents perspective 1 from child's perspective Choice of another 2 Journal entries or two Journal RPs.
Teen: 13-16 Fourth stage, Children begin attending compititions and applying their teachings. They also start more advanced classes.
Ah teenagers, this is where your child will get the joyful rush of hormones and intrest in the oposite sex.. Or as it may be, same sex. The point is this must be the hardest point of one's life, dealing with the new feelings and hormones, and at the same time dealing with the mass of classes D-corp is tryign to shove down your throat before you get too old. This is, by far, the hardest stage of your life. By now they've chosen wether they prefer magic or melee, and can now focus on mastering those skills. Along with more classes being shoved along, learning about dragon history, and biology of themselves and their dragons... And who can forget sex ed? And most importatnly, learning their dragon's abilities. Both flying and fighting, because no one want's an out of control ball of acid flying at them. All the while trying to blaance a social life. And you, as the parent, get to keep them out of trouble.
Requirements:
3 Months length Pass 3 advanced Melee tests([x]/[x]) or pass 3 advanced Magic tests([x]/[x]) (depending on which they want to specify in) Pass 3 History tests[x]/[x] Pass 3 biology tests [x]/[x] Pass 3 dragon training tests[x]/[x] 6 PDs 2 parent journal entries 2 child journal entries 3 choice entries.
Young adult: 17-21 Fith stage, Children continue compition at more advanced levels. Also undergoing trials assigned by the D-Corp
Hormones are starting to level off, the children may or may not have adjusted to these changes by now, but most have "grown up" by now. At this point, they start running scenerios with eachother in a safe environment. They have battles, races, ect, all to get their skills perfected. Compared to teen, things seem to be getting easier now. No more horrible reading and homework! Yay. At this point, they're probably ready to "leave the nest", but they can't just yet, though if absolutly nessicary D-corp will offer apartments on sight.
Requirements:
3 months length Participate in 3 battle events. (Using Magic or melee) [x]/[x]/[x]/[x] Participate in 3 flight events [x]/[x] Participate in 3 combo events. (Flight and battle) [x]/[x]/[x]/[x]/[x]/[x] 4 PDs 3 child or parent journal entries 3 choice entries.
Adult: 22+ Adults start up jobs at D-corp. Some are permitted to live outside of the main building, Assignments are still given out. More will be known when this stage is reached.
Finally, you've reached an end. Your child gets to settle in his or her own place, or stay at home as the case may sometimes be. Now is a good time to build a family, since classes have all ended. And you can support this family by the money and things you make by working for D-corp. Or you can stay single and simply make more money for yourself. But no matter what, you still work for D-corp, even if you get another job in the meantime. They can refuse, but who knows what would happen.
Requirements: Last stage, so no requirements to grow.(cause there is no growing) However you will need to participate in various "quests" that relate to their dragon and their skills, and perhaps other tests. But you'll be notified for each of these. (PMed)
