Moon cheerfully talked to Delta as they made their way into the newly built coffee-house. She and an old friend were meant to be meeting there after years of being apart due to boring life-issues. The old friends had only spoken breifly on the phone but Moon had found out that Mia now had a child of her own too and thought it would be nice if the two could meet. Moon just hoped they would be accepting of delta.

Delta hugged her sheep toy she had named 'Mr.Woolsby' and clung tightly to her mothers hand, this was the first time she had really been out and meeting someone new in a while (except from meeting her new mum of course.) She hoped she could make a new friend, but she had a feeling inside her that made her feel a little strange, like she wouldnt be accepted because she was differrant. Not everyone was as open minded and caring as her mother.

The pair walked into the cafe and took a seat at one of the louge chair seating spots and waited for Mia and her child to arrive.

Moon heard the bells on the door and turned around peering over the top of her seat, Seeing her old friend she smiled and turned to Delta. "Hey honey, you see that lady over by the door? She's my friend Mia, she's the one we came here to meet, her and her son." feeling delta's anxiety she smiled and took her by the had to lend her some courage.

Delta's tail was between her legs, the strange feeling had gotten worse and now she just felt like hiding under one of the tables and imagining she was safe inside a small dark crevice. Upon feeling her mothers grasp on her hand she felt a little better, but still nervous she sucked on Mr.Woolsby's ear for comfort as they approached the stranger. Delta still hadnt seen Mia's son.

Moon smiled and waved to Mia, "Hey Mia! Long time no see!" and signalled her over to the comfy lounge seating spot that conveniantly overlooked the child-play-area.

Moon grinned as Mia made mention of the play-area "Once upon a time, not so long ago.." She rememberred when she used to go climbing through the play equipment being clearly too old but not caring anyway. "Wheres Mr.Mia Jr?" Moon questioned as she peered around looking for Mia's son, then she spotted a young boy walking slowly closer to the group. Moon smiled, by some mad stroke of luck it looked like mia had adopted a son, and from the same place as her! The boy looked to be.. Husky like? "Im guessing thats the young stud coming over here now, what a handsome lad. Its a bit ...eerie that both our children resemble canines." then Moon snapped back to reality. "Oh! but what am I thinking. Yes this here is my little angel Delta." Moon lovingly glanced to delta, encouragin her to say hello.

Delta hid behind Mr.Woolsby only just peering over the tops of his fluffy woolen curls. "Ewwo Mia" she said, barely above a whisper. This place was making her enhanced sences go wild with all the rich odours and new sights. It was both scary and xciting to her all at once. Then she noticed the young boy her mother must have been talking about and Mr.Woolsby dropped into her lap. She had seen their similarity, Not in colour or size.. But rather in features. She had noticed his ears and tail. The strange feeling in her tummy stopped and she grinned, her fluffy tail swishing behind her. Pointing out one of her delicate fingers she beamed completely forgetting to say hello "You hab Tail!!" she clambered over Moon to shakily stand near the boy to get a closer look at him. The more she thought about it the more she agreed they were similar.

Moon chuckled to Mia "Wow, She's awfully happy." she hadnt seen Delta like this before, but it made her feel good that hopefully delta would never feel strange or alone if she knew there were others like her.

Moon chuckled as she imagined what it would be like for them to have to climb through the equipment after runaway children.. then she went back to being neutral, looking over to Delta and the boy "They are both uniquely wonderful."

Delta giggled at the soccerball and held up her sheep toy to show proudly "Mr Woowl-sbie". Then at the mention of her also having a tail she looked behind her, but she couldnt see it. So she turned around a few times trying to see if her tail was still there but her tail was too fast for her and she was too young to realise that it was attatched and moving as fast as she was. Her face dropped "Is gone!" she gasped. Her prescious tail wasnt where it used to be! She couldnt find it! She turned in a circle a few more times before flopping onto the floor dizzy looking dissappointed.

Moon giggled and whispered to Mia "Think she will figure it out?" then she realised she didnt know Mia's son's name. "Hey Mia, you havent introduced your son heh, Delta and I dont know his name."

Delta's ears perked up as Arith pointed at her tail, she sat up... And there it was! "Yoo founds it!" she beamed and clambered to her feet "I thinks I losts it. No wannan loose tail.. no no." she held her tail on her hip and stroked it as if reassuring it that she never wanted to lose it. Hearing Mia say the boys name she made a descision in her head. "Awif! Awif be's Delta's firstest friend. ok?" she made an angelic face in his direction hoping he would be her friend.

Moon poured some milk into a coffee the waitress had just brought them and sipped it slowly. "So, What have you and arith been up to since last I saw you? Has life been treating you well?" Moon wondered what the events were that led to Mia adopting her son arith and also how she was faring.

Delta grinned "If i lose tail 'gain I get you find for me." thinking he must be a brilliant finder. Noticing the playground her til began to wag excitedly and joined in with Arith in asking if they could go play "Please please?" she gave another of her little angelic smiles.

Moon Aww'd at the two little kids and nodded "Its fine with me if its fine with Mia, Just make sure your careful and stay in sight." Moon hoped arith would take good care of her little baby girl.

Delta beamed and ran as fast as she could to the little glass door that led out but she wasnt strong enough to push it open on her own but she tryed anyway.

Moon looked worried "Holes? OH I heard that they do sometimes pick up behavious similar to their animal-likeness, I hope Delta dousnt start digging, I only have a small apartment at the current moment, but im thinking of trying to move.." Moon sipped her coffee again listening to mia's story about shopping and dragons..wait... "What? hehe I must have a hearing problem, I could have sworn you just said dragon eggs? I thought i heard a similar thing at the adoption agency, but its impossible. Im going mad..."

As soon as the door was open Delta was in like a shot, heading straight for one of the tunnels that let up into the maze-like play equipment "Awith is IT!" she squeaked as she clumsily raced up the ladder in the tunnel her little hands and feet pulling her up.

Moon cocked an eyebrow at Mia "Or... Mabye its you thats going mad. how can you talk about something like that so matter-of-factly. Everyone knows that dragons never existed or are extinct. Even if someone did have dragons and eggs it wouldnt be something they would give to kids? Its too dangerous...isnt it?"Moon was really quite confused now, she had heard dragomn stories when she was little, but thats all she thought them to be.. stories then and stories now.

Delta scampered in every direction, she had never been in one of these mazes before... She was getting quite disoriented when she saw yet another tunnel sloping up. Quickly she scampered up it being quite fast crawling on her hands and knees. She thought that keeping in an upward direction would be the best way to go as there were slides up the top she had seen for a quick escape. She almost had to hold her breath so she wouldnt giggle and give away her position.

"Yeah I guess your right, your only -just- too young still to be a crazy senile old coot." Moons eyes glinted with mischief, always enjoing picking on Mia. Able to call her old and senile because she was a few years younger. "I still dont beieve you, but i guess its a possiblity.. I mean i never expected in my wildest dreams to have a daughter like Delta. Lifes taken a sharp turn for the strange and unknown lately. Its kind of fun." She chuckled and sipped her coffee watching the kids zoom around in the tunnels as they passed the many windows on the tubes.
