Zauus felt a pain being lifted from her little heart. In the spot of emptiness, a blessing filled the gap. But for some reason, it just didn't feel right. As if the blessing had not filled up the entire hole. She wished she could remember what was lost, but just couldn't put her finger on it. She tried to ignore it. After one final bow, she departed from the shrine.

Rhryse found herself back in the shrine. She knew she'd done what the Goddess asked, and she felt the blessing. She felt better now, warm again. It was good. She was smiling as she left. OOC Link to task completed: Journey and Offering Name of character: Rhryse (Sherry) Link to Heart Log [x]

Why he had been worried did not truly bother him anymore. He felt good, more aware of his surroundings, almost as if being around the Goddess pedestals had boosted him somewhat. OOC Link to task completed: Here OfferingName of character: Cyan Gin/Yin Cang Link to Heart Log: Here

Ah yes, a reason. Hale definitely needed a reason to become more than what she was. She always wanted to be more than what she was. Did others, too?

A strange feeling had brought her here.
She wasn't entirely sure why she had decided to visit the Goddesses today, but it seemed right.OOC Link to task completed: Journey ||| OfferingName of character: Finale / Lifen Link to Heart Log: Here

Palem took her careful steps into the Shrine, a weird weight lifted from her shoulders and she was a little unsure of how and why. But she had completed a task, right?
So she stood in front of the Goddess, unsure if there was anything she was supposed to place before her. Apparently nothing as she felt that wave wash over her. A blessing.
She smiled, even though she suddenly felt a little anxious.

Mel'ae was drawn back quickly and was bewildered as to why, but stood before the goddess regardless. It was another blessing, another thing done right. She could remember very little of WHAT that thing had been but felt it was true enough to deserve the blessing.
She nodded a little as it was give and she bounced a few more times, a giddy sensation filling her up even more than she had before. It was starting to feel more right, more her.

How odd, she was suddenly feeling...? For a moment, Vae could have sworn that she felt a hint of bitterness in her heart, but it disappeared as soon as she became aware of it. Where had that come from all of a sudden? She had just completed a task--there was no reason to feel upset at herself...
Shaking her head in confusion, Vae approached the goddess to receive her blessing, giving a small bow of her head before turning to leave.
How odd.

A reason to be more than they are? Aryn still wasn't quite sure what she meant, or rather, he just didn't understand what that reason was for him personally. However, as he approached the goddess, he could feel it. Something he had lost, but didn't know he had. Personality.
But... had this really been his--or had it belonged to someone else?

Owl... didn't understand what the Goddess meant by that. Reason? To be... more? More than she already was? She frowned, but bowed her head to the Goddess all the same. And felt it. Something returning... or being granted. She never knew which it was. But it was familiar and... all hers. A personality. Her personality. Whatever that was.

Ithi returned to the shrine on her way, feeling exhausted but no longer as upset as she had been when she returned from the task. She bowed her head to the statues and felt blessed, both figuratively and literally. Still, even as she left she had to wonder, who were the goddesses and why were they worshiped? She had a feeling any answers she would get would simply be an exercise in recursion.

Chaesel, oddly, wasn't upset. She surprised herself with how easily she shook off the killing. It was the goddesses that bothered her, actually. It was too confusing, too roundabout. Why hadn't the yellow one given her more information? Why hadn't she warned Chaesel about the other figure?
It was suspicious. That didn't mean Chaesel was going to stop doing what they were saying. Clearly at the moment they were more powerful than her. If she wanted a chance at fighting back, she needed to become a goddess herself.
In the shrine, she nodded solemnly at the statues. "Wait for me, blondie." She would take one of those plaques one day. Count on it.

Finally he was back at the shrine and though he felt exhausted he was satisfied with the fact that he completed the task that was given to him. Perhaps now he was one step closer to finding what it was he was looking for.
He didn't understand her words though. Wasn't he already enough as he was? And this personality, was it really his? His own?

His eyes were glazed in no emotion. He made his way to the pedestal for his blessing and even as the familiar warmth surrounded him. He continued to show nothing for several moments.
