The Goddess, wrought with Paranoia, created ====, her last and final project before ====. It was then that she discovered how to replicate ====. His eyes glanced over the black slowly as he came into the Shrine. His hand slowly reached up to touch the words before putting his hand back down and turning his head to the statue that was there. He makes his way close to her and continues to stare without word. The hissing wires snap at him with loud hisses as he makes his way closer, but he doesn't hesitate.

Once he made it close enough, his hand reaches out and a bag is placed on it. His eyes glanced down into the bag and noticed that it was empty. Ezophyr's eyebrows furrowed and he looked back up to the see the Goddess' wry smile. Her explanation of things were confusing but he placed the bag down and took the scissors in hand instead. They felt strange in his fingers, as if something were wrong with them. But he made no word of mention.

"Could you fetch me more parts? " Her voice echoed in his mind loudly as he looked back up from the scissors. "Just the heart. They don't need theirs after all," The wry smile turned into a slightly remorseful one. Suddenly a sharp twinge of pain stabbed him in the chest and stomach. It wasn't a violent bloody pain-- no it was filled with some sort of emotion. An emotion that's closer to fear... He's not quite sure what to do with this feeling so he pushes it away as he makes his way out of the shrine after picking the bag back up.

The feeling disappeared easily so Ezophyr makes no means of investigating it. In fact there is no emotion that he feels currently-- which is strange. Very strange. Seeing as he was embowed by the power of emotion from the very moment he came into existence. He takes this as a omen of warning and proceeds with caution.

He took a slow step inside the room. He waited a moment to see if anything would come out to hurt him-- but when nothing did, he sighed softly and took more steps. His eyes glanced around and blinked slowly until they focused on the three doors. They each glowed a sinister warmth and the sharp pain of feeling enters him again. With each door he looks at, the feeling grows stronger.

With the last door-- the one that resembles a gnarled tree-- it's the strongest of the pain he's felt. Some tears roll down his face from the strong emotion. Yet he still took a step close to it. His hand reaching out to push it open slowly.

And he enters the third door.

Zephyros... Zephyros... Zephyros...

Ezophyr takes a slow step forward. his eyes trying to get used to this empty darkness, but it doesn't work at all. Everything stays pitch black and he must use his sense of touch to feel around. His hands clenched and un-clenched. The scissors opened and closed. There wasn't any noise at all, it made him feel very vulnerable. The feeling that has been pulsing through his body deepens to the point that the felt very sick. That is until the thumping sound started echoing in the room.

It kept thumping. Slowly. Thump thump thump. The sound was almost soothing. It sounded very familiar. His face quirked up in a small smile as he took a few steps forward towards it. Thump thump thump. The sound continued and got louder. He calmed down more once he approached the source of the beating.

The crate in front of him sat there. He feels around slowly-- and feels the arm. It was most definitely something similar to one. But he wasn't quite sure that it was.. his claws dug into it and a different noise escaped the crate. He titled his head to the side and moved his hand upward. The beating sound suddenly got louder and he figured that.. it must be the thing he was looking for. It must be in that crate, he decided.

His hands touched the squishy being inside. Before shoving the scissor into it. A Scream shrieked from the crate. It got louder the deeper Ezophyr plunged the scissor inside. He frowned deeply and started moving the tool to cut. Then the arms from crate snapped up and started tearing at his own.

He merely pulled the arms away and frowned even deeper. His scissors started making way inside the object. It cut open and he felt liquid on his hands. It smelled strange. His chest tightened in fear. Something about this situation was wrong. Whether it be the screaming being that was trying to attack him, or the gushing of liquid that poured around his hands.

The feeling continued until his free hand feels something pulsing. He realized that it was the object he needed. He cut around it. His hands groping at the item and pulling. The object in the crate shrieking with horror. The sound was full with pain and it resonated into Ezophyr's own heart. He began feeling sick the more he tugged at the heart.

So he decided to rip it out with all his might. "ZEPHYROS". The word was screeched louder than the other cries. It was terrifying. His entire body shuddered with some unknown emotion and he began to feel sick. Then suddenly something flashes before his eyes.

The night air was cold. He was flying and enjoying the moment. He flew too close to the reaper dorms and the boil was nearly pushed off the roof. A string of curses escape a little black doll. He looked confused and approached the boil and puppet. He apologized. The black puppet cursed more while the boil smiles shyly at him.

His bright blue hair.. bright blue eye. The resonate within Ezophyr's heart and he nearly wretchs onto the ground. Staggering backwards, he clutches the still heart in his hand and drops it into the bag.

His hand clutched tightly at his chest as he makes his way back out form the room slowly. Everything was pitch black. He could barely see a thing. Even from before, when he could see just a little-- now everything was gone.

His blue eyes were half lidded. The only thing that shown was the blue aura of his own heart. Those tired eyes slowly glanced down at the bag and he let out a groan. His head shook slowly and he stumbled forward.

Then the area began filling with water. This feeling distracted him somewhat, his brows furrowing. He made his way forward a little faster as the water rose. It was filling quickly. The water nearly reached his height. It made him struggle as he pushed forward. Except he only met a dead end and he felt fear and confusion once more.

The mix of feelings was amplified as sound echoes through the room.

"Please give it back Zeph..." The voice was soft. Familiar. It brought a sharp pain to his chest.

he turned around to see nothing there, however this did not soothe his feelings. It only amplified it to extreme fear. To the point that he started to rush his way back out.

"Please give me back my-" He ran into an object. His eyes slowly glanced up and he screamed in horror. Before he had any time to react, the figure pushed him down with a snarl on it's face.

"Give me back my heart."

He was being pushed down into the water. There was nothing he could do to fight against the enemy. He struggled to push back, but the overwhelming emotions crippled him. And then memories slowly flash through his mind. All of them were filled with the blue haired boy and the black puppet.

The memories slowed down to a particular one.

He was sitting on the floor along side next to the boil. They were chatting about something.. it wasn't important. the words slid through like hisses. There was no coherence, just the view of the boil smiling and laughing. The Black puppet frowning and cursing. He himself was smiling.

They were friends. Good friends. His eyes open to realize why the figure looked so familiar. The once bright blue eye was now a dull grey eye. It was half-lidded and full of murderous intent. The one trying to kill him now-- take his existence from him was the boil in his memories. And the same one he stole the heart from.

He struggled for air. His body flailing roughly, pushing at the being. however there was no way to get himself up from the water. His hands clench tightly and he realized he still had the scissors. Jerking the weapon forward-- he stabs the being with all his might.

He's finally released from the being's grasp and the water dissipates. He landed on his back. Gaspsing for the precious air he took advantage of. His bright blue eyes stared at the ceiling and he felt water dripping from the side of face. Whether it was from being drowned, or from the despair he felt from the memories.. he will never known.

But the despair does not fade as he struggles back onto his feet. The memory of the boil just echoes through he mind and he chokes out a sob. His hands clutched at his chest while he took stumbling steps forward.

He must get back to the goddess. He has a heart to deliver-- the heart that was definitely not of the boil. It wasn't. It couldn't be. He wouldn't believe it. Even if it was.. he.. he would become that goddess. And he will bring that boil back. If Goddess' can take life, they can surely bring life back.

Wrapped in denial he slowly makes his way back to the shrine. The being staring at his back balefully in the distance with hollow eyes. They are holding his scissors tightly clenched in one hand.

He rubbed at his eyes and slowly sat up from the ground. His brows furrowed and he looked around at the white area. How did he even get there, he wondered. He was previously staring at the Goddess and the dagger she had just given to him--

He looked down and noticed he still has it.

He then began to look around again and at the pure white walls. There was some vague recollection from the Goddess about facing ones on fears. He frowned deeply at remembering the bits of conversation, his heart skipping a beat. He had faced many fears while coming into existence, why must he face another?

With a shake of his head, he stands up and decides to take a better look around. However he's very cautions. He sticks the dagger in a safe place and takes a few steps forward. There was not much in the room. It shined at him, pure and innocent almost. The place almost felt soothing, compared the everything else.

His mouth quirked in a soft smile and he made his way over to the door. He wondered why the Goddess would send him to such a secluded place- but he just shook his head tiredly and opened the door. Ezophyr took a few steps forward and heard a thud. His head slowly turned back-- his heart raced all the while. However there was nothing there. It was only the bright blank walls of the room he was previously in.

Rubbing his arms, he makes his way forward and hears another thud. His head turned back to see nothing once more. And he decided that it all must be apart of his imagination. After all he was the only one there, and this trial was terribly stressful. He wanted to believe this. That is until the last thud comes banging down harder than the rest.

He freezes. The fear enveloping him once more. his chest bangs out in terror and he turns slowly. A Black figure-- he swore it was farther when he first looked-- was already near him. The eyes staring.. and wide terrifying grin on the figure's face. The being was very familiar. Its hair ruffled.. Clothes torn. He looked distorted and misshapen however. Half his limbs were as black as ink.. and they drooped to the floor. One eye was pure white wile the other was a shocking blue. The only color on the figure-- until it faded into a dull grey.

Ezophyr had a hard time getting his legs to move. Even his breath got stuck in his throat. He couldn't seem to stop looking at the figure-- whether captivated by the strange looks or horrified by the way it seemed to come at him with a murderous intent.

Finally deciding that the look was murderous, Ezophyr ran away hurriedly. He used everything in his power.. but stumbled forward and tripped on his face.

The figure laughed-- the sound was scratchy and the tones were varying. "That's why you couldn't save him Zeph. That's why you let him die in those dreams.." Something about these words stab him harder than his fall to the ground.

The shock of those words Stab him deeply. He feels liek he should understand why the figure said that, but he doesn't. he scrambles upwards and runs farther again until he hits a door. The door is locked. He looked punched in several random numbers. Outwardly cursing as it refuses to open up. His hand slams down angrily as the figure laughs-- it's high pitched this time.

"You can't do that! Don't run away from your fears Zeph. You killed me too you know. Everday you killed me inside!" And he laughs louder, not as high pitched, but it sounds more hysterical.

He hesitated moving around to look for some sort of clue. Nearly sliding down the door when he hears these words.

In the end he did end up sliding down that wall. His face filled with tears for some unknown reason. his hand clutching as he heart beat hard. He wipes the tears away with his wrist. Staring down at the bracelet on his hand. It soothed him only momentarily, and then he remembered he was trying to run. he scrambled upward and found a paper stuck to the wall. His eyes read it quickly, but he couldn't understand a word it said. " A=0, B=1, C=2"

He tried to figure out the meaning of this code but is thoroughly distracted by a flashing memory.

A Blue haired boy laughs loudly as he stares at you. his mouth is quirked up in a smirk. A black puppet standing on his shoulders with it's arms crossed seems to curse at you. But you don't understand why. You wipe your mouth and find some feathers there and realize they have probably been stuck to your mouth the entire day. You can't help but laugh along with the boy. You feel ecstatic to do this. It feels more natural than breathing.

he comes back to reality with tears brimming his eyes. He missed that. He wanted to go back to that. But all he came back to was the figure slowly coming closer. It's voice was loud and mocking.

"We laughed together Zeph. Did he ever make you feel that way? You'll never feel that way again. Peppino's always telling me.."

But Ezophyr blocked out the last of what he was about to say, by slamming hard on the door with his fists.

The memory, alongside those words that the figure it taunting him with, distracted Ezophyr. He couldn't concentrate. his fear overwhelmed him to the fact that he hesitated doing anything. He wasn't sure what the hell he should do now, so instead he goes back to the paper and stares at it hard. Trying to understand just what the code could possibly mean...

He took a hard and long stare at the paper before running back to the pad and trying to punch in a few numbers. He's unsuccessful for quite a few times. he beigns to panis and looks the other way-- noticing that a new paper appeared. "A C E G". He didn't understand what it meant at first. Not connecting the words wiht numbers right up until he grabbed both papers.

He put them side by side until he actually cursed himself out loud and began punching the numbers "0 2 4 6" in the pad.

The door swings open and he stumbles forward hurriedly. He didn't want to see the figures distorted face..

He doens't have to look back to know that the figure is still following him. Just the snip of the scissors he's holding reminds Ezophyr that he can't stop running.

his legs pound agians thte ground, his arms swinging roughly. He nearly hits himself wiht how hard he's running. But he doesn't stop. Even as the voice seems pitiful. Calling to him with some sad emotion clouding it.

"Please give me my heart back Zeph. No-- let me take your heart. We don't need them to be in love Zephyros. We need each other. He had a heart in your dream and he died. But if we don't have hearts.. we won't die."

The sentence almost caused him to stop moving. Almost. Because write after that, the figure ruined it by cackling loudly. "Like I would give my heart for you. Even he didn't do that. Give me your heart--"

Ezophyr stopped listening to the voice. He jerked himself and forced his body to run forward. There was no way he'd stop running for this maniac. The weird blotted out figure.. It wasn't his friend. Just someone that wanted him dead.

He pants as he makes it across the bridge. It collapses once he takes his step onto the ground-- and the figure yells loudly from the otherside. It's deep and curses. "You F*cking feather a**-- get back here!"

But he just keeps running...

He stares as he reaches a dead end. Nothing but a creepy old shack is ahead of him now. And some sort of fog is lifting up from the sides. his eyes narrow and he hisses angrily. His hand reaches up to his mouth and he bites down roughly. He was trapped. The figure had trapped him and the cackling behind him told him that the being knew there was no way out.

He turned around and faced what was coming before him-- and then a white memory flashes before his eyes.

The moon shined down in through the Reaper dorms. You are sitting on the floor crying. His hand is on your back and you jerk it away. You yell at him. Hiss. Bit down at anything you can get your mouth on-- which just so happened to be his 'familiar'. He yells out in horror and screams at you. You stop mid way in your frenzy and drop the puppet. It's torn almost in half and you look down-- mortified by what you did. The reaper is crying hysterically. Grabbing the 'familiar tightly and yelling at you to get out. He screams angrily-- his voice never went that high to begin with. It cracked and your heart seemd to as well. Whatever upset you before was forgotten as you shrink. You try to apologize, but he just screams at you again and kicks you out of his room. When the door slams--

"I HATE YOU" The distorted voice of the figure snarls as it comes rushing up to Ezophyr. He falls back, startled by how close the figure came. It was to quick, he barely had time to react. He fell to the ground and twisted to the side. The pain of that memory energized him. He would not forget how much it hurt to be hated. He will not be hated by this mockery of his friend.

His hand reached for the dagger he had tucked away, and he pulled it out quickly. The voice snarled out loudly. "YOU DESTORY EVERYTHING. YOU DESTROYED HIM, ME AND NOW YOURSELF. JUST DIE." But he was determined not to die.

With everything he had, he ducked before the scissors plunged into him, and he jabbed the dagger straight into the figure's chest. It's eye glowed a bright blue again and he smiled. The demented smile that he had in the beginning. And right before dissipating, he croaks. "See.. you destroy.. everything..."

Ezophyr shuddered in despair. The feeling was very familiar. It took him the last of his energy to pick up the red glowing dagger, and he held his breath while he did. Slowly, he made his way to the shack that suddenly decided to open it's doors. And he entered with narrowed eyes. His resolution to become Goddess was decided. He will return for his friend.

The Goddess of Longing was his favorite. Ever since he existed, he always felt as if she were the one who would help him. She was the one who gave him his heart after all. She was the one who gave him his meaning to exist and to breath and live. Ezophyr's lips quirked in a hesitant smile as he reached the shrine and saw that she was the one who wold be giving them directions this time.

He didn't want a cookie, he didn't particularly like them. But he watched the Goddess speak with a smile. He didn't know how to react to her words and just raised his smile upwards to comfort her. However it looked as if she wasn't particularly paying attention to him, but running through a motion that she's been going through for a while. The words had little to no feeling in them, past the initial quirkiness.

However he just shook his head to himself and believed that she was just tired. His eyes glanced over her interesting outfit, and the lack of a weapon. The other two had weapons and all she had were cookies.. She was definitely the most kind out of the rest of them. His lips were now in a smile that was not hesitant at all.

Suddenly the arches for a door way appeared behind her. He looked at them curiously and remembered that she had mentioned something about a tea party. He liked tea. Not so much the sweets that came with the tea though. He took a few steps towards the door and peered at the table, hoping that there wouldn't be too many sweets there to eat.

With a look back at the Goddess who waved him on, he took his steps inside quickly and crunched on the soft white ground. It looked oddly familiar, as did the white flakes falling onto him and dissipating with a single touch. They were fragile. Enough so that he would leave distinctive foot prints in the ground as he walked towards the strange table. For some reason the white atmosphere of the entire room was familiar, but he couldn't quite put a finger on it.

Without hesitation, he continued to the table and stopped right in front of it. He carefully observed the bottle sitting on top. One Pink and One Blue. The Pink one was more soothing-- however it looked too sweet. But the blue one, on the other hand, seemed to emit sadness and despair. He wasn't quite sure that he wanted to touch either of them. But the Goddess insisted in his mind. And his hand slowly reached out for the Blue vial.

Looking at it, he notices a little tag.

Drink me.

He was more hesitant to do this now. But he reluctantly puts the jar to his lips and he sips the liquid. It slides down his throat and instantly a dissatisfied feeling surges through his mind. His brows furrow and he frowns deeply. All traces of any smile at all disappeared with the drink. He didn't even realize the variety of sweets that littered the table now. His frown now aimed at them. He doesn't really like sweets. And each one looked very much so.

His hand hesitant reached for the withered looking candies, and he almost immediately regretted putting one in his mouth. He was full of guilt that he picked that one instead of the better looking chocolate.. or was that really why he felt so upset? He stared at the cups that suddenly appeared in front of him. They each shined slowly and each one looked worse than the next. His mouth twitched as his hand slowly moved to pick up a cup.

His hand slowly clenched around The black and Green Cup. And he took a sip of his tea. His eyes widened as he recalled a past memory. A Very familiar one at that. And he gasps in horror, dropping the cup on the table and nearly shuddering in despair. This was his memory.
