[.RP LOG.] ...An Accident..."Part One"Paramekia Darkheart It had come as a surprise, the experience had left him completely floored and incapable of logical thought. He had been whisked away, treated kindly (but firmly) and in return he was no longer a colt - rather, he had gained a much greater understanding of want a mare needed and wanted. It was for that reason that the mare in question had been permanently imprinted in his mind, a plague on his thoughts and his dreams.
...As a nomad, she had chosen to take her leave and in doing do, she had left him hungry. Ah yes, when he hadn't tasted the flesh and lust of another he had never longed for it, but now he had, he positively craved it. Now he knew exactly what the other stallions referred to when they mentioned their mates, or when they proclaimed another had caught their eye.
With a soft sigh, the wistful smile climbed to the stallion's lips and he continued to drift through the Clearing. He had already assumed he wouldn't see the mystical female again, but the experience had opened his eyes a little more and he had definitely learnt to appreciate the qualities each mare possessed - now when they smiled shyly, looked suggestively...now he would know.
But he wouldn't force, no way.
"Not half bad." He mused, admiring his own reflection as he neared the stream, his tail flicking idly against his leg. All in all, he was in a rather pleasant mood even though the company was dire (there was no one around)...That being said, the spirits had never left him lonely for long, so perhaps lady luck really was with him today. `Swirly
Life was pretty decent right now for Lovey. She missed being in the grove with the chatter of Moppet, Horne, Nono, and the occasional response from Azumoth. Both Horne and Nono visited just about daily or stayed the night, but since ‘Naci had gone off on an adventure with her “uncle” Caelen, Lovey was all alone. When she got to being alone that meant only one things, she got to thinking too.
Soon she’d have to take ‘Naci back to the teepee or at least closer. Caelen had agreed to take her to meet Aely before going on to meet with his most likely mate, Az. Shrugging softly, Lovey tried not to let the things on her mind weigh her down. She was four now… An adult by anyone’s standards. The past couple of months she had crossed that line and hadn’t realized it. ‘Naci took up all her time. She adored it, but was there more to life? That night with Uwihi still flashed and danced in her brain like a bit of a time-bomb… Ack! No!
Dipping her head down and managing to keep her long foofy mane out of her face took a bit of talent, but she had had plenty of time to master it. The hair still had it’s extreme shine to it, and it was ever-bouncy.. But by the end of the day with ‘Naci it tended to have frizzed and more than a few splits ends were in her hair. Not that she minded, Aely trimmed off about 5” every time she came home.. She’d be fine.
Running did have it’s benefits though!
Her body had always had an extra roundness to it. Slight curves where most had none, and full curves where most had some. Running around all the time had removed the excess to the point where she needed to graze. Food wasn’t the enemy! A quick giggle and an upturned head found her sniffing… Was someone nearby?Paramekia Darkheart His head turned abruptly at the sound, ears swivelling in the direction. It had been faint, scarcely above a whisper but he had caught it and was instantly aware that it was most certainly female. For all intents and purposes, it appeared that his faith in the Spirits never wavered and in return they repaid him with the company he sought. He supposed it was true what they said, keep an optimistic mind and good things came to you.
"Thank you." He cooed to thin air, fluffing up his tail before moving towards the sound. While he moved swiftly, he made certain that his pace was controlled and smooth to the point that he didn't appear rushed. Rather, he simply appeared to have a strong stride and a sense of purpose like any confident stallion. Avoiding the 'imperial' glance that often turned mares against a stallion, he kept his expression pleasant.
Rounding the tiny hillock and brushing through the long grasses of the Clearing, it wasn't long before his gaze fell on the young mare who couldn't have been any older than himself. His lip parted briefly as he came to a halt, one hoof raised in preparation to move off once more. He could have sworn he had seen her before around Grencia in the herd lands - the delicate coat and extravagant mane pretty much confirmed that.
...He'd never spoken to her before though. `Swirly
Lovey’s ears danced back and forth as she listened. Whoever she had heard had either heard her also, or had smelt her. Bah. Whatever the case was she was glad that ‘Naci was off and about again today. For being a mother she certainly got off the hook a lot. Horne and Nono enjoyed playing, Caelen and Harij also wanted to take her out and about quite often. ‘Naci was closest to her, but sometimes both of them needed a break to do either purely adult activities or purely childish activities.
She straightened her appearance as best she could for not having hands, a brush, or really much of an inclination to impress whoever happened upon her. Smiling lazily, Lovey propped up a hind leg and just waited. The expression she chose was inviting in a purely friendly manner. Such a long long time without a good conversation… A long time since anybody wanted to talk to her for her and not fawn over her beautiful child. In truth she didn’t mind the fawning, it’s just.. One could only admire another before the topic got dull. Even her own beauty had worn down Lovey’s patience.
Finally a stallion came into view, and Lovey nearly did a jig. No Kalona, Skinwalker or other Dun-Dun-Dun! Evil being had happened upon her. Grinning widely Lovey even realized who it was. Would the colt remember the mare who had helped him snag a feather from his uncle? Biscuit had been young then, probably a faded memory from the faded memory of childhood. As was expected from her brain, Lovey giggles and swished her tail back and forth in amusement.
Why not play the vamp, “So.. You’ve decided you missed me?” The tone was light and teasing.. But hinting just slightly.
Paramekia Darkheart "I fear ye mistake me fer someone else," Biscuit's hoof-falls became lazy as he drew near the mare. As pretty as she may be, now that he had been noticed he was no longer going to strut passed. There was no need to strut when he had been both seen and addressed, strutting was only necessary to gain a reaction - apparently the spirits really were happy with him this afternoon.
He knew behaving himself had been a good idea.
"But how are ye anyway?" Allowing a small smile to appear on his boyish lips, he canted his head to the side and released a chuckle, "S'been a while Lovey, I ain't been seein' ye since the feather games." He was of course referring to his uncle and clearly remembered who she was. She had been a very young friend of his uncle, not very much older than he was at all!
She was looking well, his smile took on a rather peculiar slant at this thought and his eyes wandered just a little. Well, he was only male and once a stallion had a taste he would always wonder what it would be like to have more. `Swirly “Oh no… I don’t think I really did.” She hadn’t been expecting anybody, so how could whoever had shown up be someone else? The idea nearly made her want to giggle. Biscuit certainly had picked up several additional hands in height since she had left, along with a rather uncanny strut. The strut reminded her of a certain feather-butted stallion that she no longer had the ability to see eye-to-eye with.
All well, that didn’t mean he was a bad boy.
He remembered her name! What a charming day this one had turned out to be, a cute little colt had grown up into a stallion and even retained some cuteness. Although the strut meant he probably now knew the pleasures of.. The opposite sex. “Ahh, the feather games were such a long long time ago. It’s hard to believe how much you’ve grown since then.” She didn’t want to talk down to him, so speaking of childhood probably wasn’t going to be of any use.
“What have you been up to lately? Exploring new places or on a particular task?” There, that alone ought to make him feel all manly and stuff. Lovey giggled brightly and winked her vibrant green eyes back up at him, she really did know nothing about the opposite sex.. Even after one… interesting evening.
Paramekia Darkheart "Ye make yeself seem old sayin' that." Biscuit smiled good naturally as she made reference to his childhood. He had a good one, plenty of memories and many lessons - he was hardly ashamed to admit that he had been a young one. Granted, she had met him as he had matured, she hadn't quite seen the days when he really had been dragged around as he clutched to his uncle's tail.
"Ye ain't much older than meself ye know," Although that being said, now that he watched her mannerisms there was a stranger and somewhat more vulnerable side than he remembered. Perhaps she had experienced a few things during her stay in the lands and that had shaped her into a more 'whole' individual - it suited her, but he wasn't entirely certain he should say that...most mares took it badly.
"As fer what I been up te, bit of both really... Ye'd be surprised how difficult it be te catch fishies with these 'ooves." He mused, flicking his tail against his flank as he turned his rather bemused gaze towards her, "Yeself?" He continued, although he had been well aware of her veiled meaning he wasn't abou to respond to it yet. `Swirly Lovey managed a quick chuckle and a light grin before pondering what to say, “Oh? But aren’t I old?” Moving up to Biscuit in a playful move she gazed up at him, “Can’t you see all of my awful wrinkles?” Her face had such a serious set to it that she hoped it started him a bit when she pulled the most evil lookit-me-I’m-a-filly face she could. Being childish could be interesting..
“Oh yes, I know that which is why I suppose I’ll stop teasing you about being such a young’un.” A quick half-step moved her back out of his space. In all honesty, the stallion was probably less than two years younger than her. Sometimes Soquili timelines messed with her brain, either that or she wasn’t smar enough to keep track of how long it had been since this and that. Yeah, it probably was just her brain acting up.
“Why on earth would you be trying to catch fish?” The stallion was probably kidding with her, but just in case she’d play it say and ask why… What had she really been up to, “I’ve had an uhm.. Interesting last few months or so.. Met several odd characters and I’ve… a daughter now.” Oh boy wasn’t that just a great conversation started, “I found a basket.. And adopted it as my own.. She’s off with my herd mate, Caelen, right now.”
Paramekia Darkheart "Darlin', I cannae be seein' no wrinkles." True to form, Biscuit reassured her without the slightest indication of surprise. Clearly used to the flirtatious behaviour of females, he applied a liberal splash of good humour to his words while maintaining both composure and that strange glow in his eyes. While he might have been younger than her, it was clear that he wasn't quite as naive...evidently she wasn't entirely aware of what she was doing to him.
...Strange how that worked out.
Flicking his tail against his flank, he waited until she had settled herself again and wasn't prancing about his form before continuing. While fishing sounded like an odd hobby for a horse to have, Yei had been adamant that he learn and he could see why. Not only did the hobby stress patience and discipline, but it was also a great deal of fun too.
"It be good exercise and it be fun." He gave a nod at this before quirking a brow at her confession, for all her naivety, she had still managed to bag herself a child? He wasn't going to say she got around, clearly she didn't if she had adopted it but still...
"Funny 'ow the uncles always manage te nick the kids." He mused, obviously referring to himself and Grencia. "Lot seems te 'ave changed in the last wee while..." `Swirly “Oh so I’m darling now, am I?” Sometimes Lovey wished that she had an accent of her own. The oddball out it seemed like… Almost all of her herd mates or friends had something to make their voice memorable. She just spoke like anybody else, but perhaps a bit more higher pitched. Ha. The look in Biscuit’s eyes managed to confuse her just slightly. It wasn’t so much that she didn’t know what he was probably thinking about, but more of.. Why was he thinking about it and where did this side of him come from?
Why did stallions choose to continually confuse her?
So fishing was possible? Odd, but probably a lot of fun once mastered. She would much rather just go splashing and mucking around in the water than waiting patiently for the chance to catch one. However the hell that was done. Instead of confusing herself by imagining how to catch one, she’d just simply not as at all. That usually worked best.
“I’m thinking that I have more fun when I just go splash around in water that’s more mud than water.” She had done that several times not too long ago and the pain of getting it out of her mane was well worth the fun of getting the filthy. Oh-ho.. The speculative blink when she mentioned ‘Naci made Lovey want to whap him like he was still only seven hands tall. The little bugger.
“Yes, so much has changed but..” her voice dropped to a more husky note before looking up at him with appealing green eyes, “has it all truly changed for the better?” Paramekia Darkheart Oh lord, she really was naive.
Sighing mentally, the stallion flick his gaze briefly to the trees as he banished the thoughts in his head. Evidently, she may have become a mother but she had no idea how dangerous it was to act in this manner around a stallion. If he were suitably more forward (and he could be) then he would have already backed her into her a corner for teasing him - alas, he was much more gentlemanly than that.
"That would depend on ye definition o' 'better' te be honest." He replied slowly, not entirely certain of where her train of thought was leading her, or where she might be attempting to lead him. He could read females, he was rather good at it but there was always a problem around those who were naive. They didn't actually know what they wanted and if he pushed, he wasn't guaranteed to be appreciated.
"If'fn ye be preferring another name though, ye jes' 'ave te say." He added as an after thought. `Swirly Lovey loved to be able to tease.
Her one sexual experience had opened her eyes to the world of adulthood, but since then she had been full of hatred or busy. No wide-eyed wonder had set in and now that she had a free time, Lovey was finding it hard not to flirt and torment just a bit. Her naivety probably would never fade, she’d always find something wondrous or beyond her grasp. Fortunately or unfortunately, Lovey hadn’t decided which, Biscuit wasn’t taking the bait. Just made their conversation… flirtatious with a bit of confusion. Hah.
“I suppose so oh wise one..” Her response was a bit on the side of being a smartass, but a wink and smile took the edge away. In truth, Lovey wasn’t leading him anywhere but more of testing what hold she had on stallions. Grencia had said it was part of life, so shouldn’t she make it part of her own? Hm, the possibilities. Right now the connection of who Biscuit’s uncle was didn’t seem to be going full circuit. How does one make flirting more obvious? Since when did she behave whorishly? Oh wait, this was all just life.
“Another name?” Damnit, her brain had taken her to another conversation and because of that she had no idea.. Oh right darling… haha.. She got it now, “Well.. What do you like to call me?” Oh lord.
Paramekia Darkheart "I'll be stickin' with darlin'..." And she had lost it, she had attempted to act pompous and smart before swiftly stumbling at the first hurdle. He gave her credit in her attempts but apparently she had never faced someone who didn't grovel - either that, or she hadn't completely mastered the art of seduction which he was fairly certain of what she was attempting to do.
...Perhaps a few lessons were in order?
Allowing his ears to swivel briefly at the sounds behind him, he took a few moments to consider the thought in his mind before releasing a snort. All in all, he had always been one for a challenge but he had to bear in mind one tiny thing - would she really want that? Flicking his gaze back towards the mare, he canted his head to the side thoughtfully.
She could always say 'stop' and he would, always an option.
It was with this in mind that he slowly made his way towards her, if she wanted to see flirtation at its finest and gain lessons in seduction then he would show her. At last, leaning near her ear he released a very low chuckle that allowed a rumble to emerge from his throat.
"You aren't very good at this," He murmured softly, his accent subsiding just a little. `Swirly Darling? Well, that didn’t really bother her. The only lover’s nickname she had ever had, if he counted as a lover or if that counted as a nickname was “liar.” Great, right? One eyebrow arched slightly and Lovey pasted a slight smirk onto her face, so it was time for a bit of play was it? She was game for it, “As you wish..” in acquiesce to his nickname for her.
Did much of anything come next? She didn’t actually know…
The expression on the stallion’s face nearly made her itch to giggle, but now wasn’t the time or place for her to be giggling. Then he started to walk towards her. Gee, the stallion was a year or so younger and yet he’d probably had more experiences and a much more pleasant time with the coupling. She’d have to keep an eye on just what he did.
Why was she even entertaining these ideas? Why?
Her whole frame tensed up for a moment when she felt the rumble of his voice in her ear and Lovey knew she had to let go. Trying to stay in control of what was possibly going to on would only make things less comfortable. It was do or don’t right now.. Oh hell.. Why not?
In a soft purr of her own, she looked up at him with trusting and slightly knowing eyes, “Perhaps you’re yet to see what I am good at..” Paramekia Darkheart A small smile lingered on his lips as he drew away, the mare played a brave game in feigning experience but there was something not quite right. While there was some form of knowledge, some experience in those eyes the little gleam seemed so very vulnerable. It was with this in mind that the stallion refrained from commenting on her words and instead drew his muzzle away from her ear.
Slipping passed, he allowed it to drift very slightly against her sides, almost as though it were silk against skin. Such a slight touch, but enough to send quivers of anticipation and just enough to awaken the senses. That done, he glanced back over his shoulder towards her in an expectant fashion before drifting off towards greater cover - he would preserve her dignity.
Nevertheless, he was all too aware of the necessity to be gentle near her and with her or should could experience a lot of pain that she didn't need to...

[.RP LOG.] ...An Accident..."Part Two"`Swirly Lovey managed a soft smile, but inside her brain fought to not run. If she were ever going to learn about what was going on between others.. She’d have to start now. The green eyes began to drift shut, blocking out the tears of anxiety and also of anticipation. A strange mix for a mare to experience, but for all intents in and purposes this would be Lovey’s first experience. Maybe, just maybe this would block out the other images.
The feel of him along her skin made a soft tremble run up her body. That insane desire to bolt reared it’s head and she simply locked up her knees a bit. It showed her nervousness, but since when was she a coward? By the time the touch stopped her body had relaxed again and a slow feeling of warmth was beginning to build… So this was what people sought so shamelessly?
Biscuit seemed to know she had no idea what was going on. Others probably would have bolted away or just burst into laughter… He was young, but so was she… Maybe if she just stopped thinking…
Paramekia Darkheart Maybe if she did, she would have followed him by now. However, not one to pressure a mare into something she didn't wish to do he opted to keep his back turned. Now would give her the perfect opportunity to bolt if she was afraid and she would never have to see his face, nor imagine what it would look like. Rather, all she might consider is what she had missed out on and perhaps she would respect him for allowing her to run while there was still time.
Casting these little thoughts aside, he drifted further into the thickets and released a snort as he brushed the undergrowth away from his form. He had forgotten how thick the undergrowth was on the lower lands, in the mountains it was significantly thinner and much easier to get through.
Even so, the more cover the better he supposed... `Swirly The slight touch had managed to rattle Lovey more than she’d ever admit to anybody, so it didn’t really surprise the mare when she slipped up and didn’t realize that the stallion was moving away from her and headed into the forest. She had done this once before too, but instead of the stallion walking away he had corralled her in… Wasn’t that the normal? Probably not. Picking up one lead foot then the other she began to follow him, keeping her eyes downcast. For all the “it’s natural’s” in the world she couldn’t get over the vague feeling of shyness.
Biscuit had made a pretty decent path for her to follow so she just trudged into the undergrowth and anything that happened to come her way. She’d not back down now, then her status would go from naïve to tease… Yes, even if she had no idea what was really going to happen and even if it hurt again she wasn’t going to stop.
At least they would have no chance of an unannounced audience? It was nearly the middle of the day after all.. How .. Decadent? Paramekia Darkheart Biscuit had a knack for finding secluded and comfortable places to lie and today was of no exception. Leading the mare into a rather private 'grove', the stallion swivelled his ears briefly in an attempt to grasp what lay around them. Satisfied that no immediate threat was in the area he then turned himself round ever so slightly and swooped his head in just under her neck upon her arrival.
It wasn't a violent movement, it served only to provide a gentle nudge as the stallion gently 'kissed' along the edges that defined her face. Gentle, aware - now that she had come he wasn't going to allow her to slip away. While he was fairly certain that she wouldn't he also needed her to be ready and so, continuing to 'navigate' his way along her neck he blew warm air against the sensitive skin and set to work.
"This may hurt," He whispered, lifting his muzzle to her ear to breathe in the scent of her mane, "But I promise, I will be as gentle as I can..." `Swirly As far as Lovey had been aware there wasn’t really anyplace like this around where she had been. Stumbling into a heavily covered and surrounded area made her grin just for a moment, ahh… never doubt the talents of a stallion. The light pressure of his head under her neck surprise Lovey for a moment but she didn’t pull away from it. She had followed him after all.
Once again her eyes began to drift shut, just letting the feelings take over so her brain didn’t make her bolt. The touches made her skin feel like fire and ice at the same time, a heady combination if she had ever felt one. This was completely different than the last time she had tried.. Well… you know. Turning as best she could, Lovey began to hesitantly immitate what he was doing along his neck… A bit stiff in her movements but still trying.
“If you hurt me…” Her voice husky and a bit dazed, “… I won’t care…” Paramekia Darkheart Mmm, she would care (or so he anticipated) but he said nothing as he continued. Somewhat amused by her attempts to mimic his shows of affection and yet at the same time...mildly impressed. Flicking his ears forward ever so slightly he coaxed the mare away from the opening of the clearing (so it could fall shut) and set to work properly.
By the end of it, she would know exactly how it felt to be with a genuine stallion and not a brute (although he was unaware that said brute was his friend)...

[.RP LOG.] ...Out of Place..."Savouring the silence that the barrens invoke, the mutant takes the opportunity to explore the wastelands following the coming of spring. Here, he finds something that is beyond being out of place..." At last the slopes were silent again. As the brutal rays of the desert sun caressed the barren wastelands, the mutant savoured the peace and tranquillity that he had been afforded. While the fates had treated him poorly as of late, they seemed to have relented just enough to give him time to recover. In the space of a few short weeks he had encountered far many soquili than he had cared for.
...And some had never left his mind.
Allowing his ears to swivel at the usual sounds of the wastelands, a small smile flickered to his lips as each of the birds tried to out do one another in terms of who had the best voice. It really was much better this way, to remain untouched and undisturbed. This way the Kalona blood within him remained eerily silent - almost as though other soquili seemed to invoke some dark desire within him.
He sighed, there was just one problem with the wastelands as of late and that was that his two 'brothers', the birds, had already flown to the Clearings to keep his surrogate daughter company. That left him with very little entertainment and he missed the influence of the young in his life - granted they never shut up but even so...
Following the trail of the single river through his territory he only briefly took his own appearance into account and smirked. As of late, he had opted to keep the braids from his hair and the result had been beyond amusing. Now his mane had developed long waves but its sheer length made it drag along the ground and gather up any number of unwanted things...it was enough to drive his 'mother' mental.
However, he may have been lost in his own thoughts but this was not enough for the 'beast' to fail to sight a rather unexpected guest. He released a mental groan of exasperation at this. Apparently he had jinxed himself this morning when he had woken up without a sign of a stranger in his midst.
Nevertheless, approaching the 'visitor' he was a little more than stunned to discover that it was a basket. Partially submerged in the water of the trickling stream and partially on land, it almost seemed as though it had floated down from another territory. Was it lost, abandoned? Glancing round briefly before turning his gaze up the stream, he released a snort and very cautiously gave it a nudge...if he had been human he would have poked it with a stick.
"Another child," He mused softly as his mane trickled over the basket as a protective blanket. Did the spirits simply assume he was a baby sitter or were they attempting to indicate that he was missing something, something that these wicker baskets could fill?
Shaking his head, the stallion saw little choice other than to take action. He couldn't let the creature die in his lands, it went against his morals and so, with a grunt he used his horns as leverage and began the slow process of nudging the basket away from the stream. No doubt the water had seeped through and in these climates...whatever was inside was more than likely chilled to the bone.
Now he knew how mothers felt, the process of moving this thing was positively tedious.
Nevertheless, eventually he did reach his grove again and without even addressing his 'mother', he pushed the basket into the ferns and released a sigh.
"Oh, another one?" Moppet's little ears twitched enthusiastically at the side of the basket. It seemed to be in considerably better shape than the previous one but this one didn't seem to have any company. "Where's the momma?"
"Not sure." Azumoth exchanged glances with his tiny mother and then returned his gaze to the basket, "It was alone and there have been no signs of soquili in the area for many days now." He continued, canting his head to the side. He had felt a twist in his heart when Ignacia had left the Grove but he would never have permitted one so fragile (or her mother) to remain here...however the spirits seemed to disagree.
Apparently, he was meant to have a child.
Not that he wanted one.
Did he?
"So, what ye gonna do with the wee one then?" Moppet raised a brow at the conflicting emotions appearing on the stallion's face. She'd always known he craved company and something seemed to be trying to give him that, but there was a little part of her that wondered whether or not he was capable of handling a child.
"It is summer..." He began somewhat uncertainly and turned his gaze towards the sun's rays outside of the grove, "It would be warm enough to allow it to remain here, when the child chooses to emerge then perhaps I will be able to escort it to the Clearing - then you could find a suitable mother for it...?" Ah, he always had a get out clause, he iddn't mind looking after a child whenever it didn't talk or look at him but when it did appear...well it was time for him to encourage it to find a new home. It wasn't that he didn't 'love' the little ones, he just couldn't let them see him and one day he hoped they would understand why he chose to act in such a manner. To be honest, if anyone found out their adoptive 'father' was him then he suspected their friendships would be harmed and he could NOT allow for that to happen.
"So it be stayin' then?"
"Yes." Azumoth confirmed, nudging the basket again, lightly of course, "For now at least..."

[.RP LOG.] ...New Life..."The scouts that guard his adoptive daughter return with more news. The mother of Ignacia has once again found children, three of them..." "Azuuuuuumoth!" The squeals of the birds could be heard throughout the Barren lands and caught the attention of the Mutant with little effort. While the voices demanded his attention they were of horror or desperation, more of excitement and anticipation.
It was Nono and Horne, the twin blue tits who had been his 'siblings' for many years. Having chosen to descend to the Clearing to be with their new 'niece', it had been many weeks since he had last come across the pair and much to his surprise, a small smile flicked onto his lips. Apparently, everything had been going world in the land of the Soquili and his 'daughter' was blooming. Neither bird had felt the need to come and visit for bad reasons - they had all been good news.
Thus, unfurling his wings slightly, he dropped down from the perch he had been upon along the narrow ridge and turned his amber gaze expectantly towards the shrill cries. Cries that continued for a number of minutes until at last, the two burst through the trees and bolted towards the stallion. Tugging at his ears and then finally opting to rest on the rocks at eye level, both looked to be reasonably pleased with themselves - to the point that both chests had puffed up.
"Well?" Evidently they had been waiting for him to enquire before they bestowed their news on him.
"THREE BABY GIRLS!" They chimed, eyes twinkling with joy at the prospect of having another trio of nieces to play with. In fact, their twinkles became even brighter as Azumoth arched a brow in surprise at the revelation.
"Girls?" He echoed, folding his wings against his sides once more as he began to walk away and towards a ridge further down the slopes, "At least Ignacia will have company, how is the mother?"
"Oh, she's tired but she be doin' mighty well!" Nono confirmed, perching himself on Azumoth's right horn as he continued to drift towards a ridge that provided a better vantage point. While he refused to descend the slopes, he certainly wanted to see the tiny new borns that would indirectly come under his protection - they were Ignacia's sisters after all.
"Ye, she not be sure of the names right now but we be tellin' ye as soon as we find out!"
"Indeed." Glancing over his shoulder, he caught a brief glimpse of his most recent charge, Muriel. While she had been quiet and obedient so far, it didn't take a genius to know that if she found a hint of freedom or the Clearings she would be difficult to control - personally...he was dreading that day.
"So, ye wants te see them?" Horne enquired softly as Azumoth came to a halt and tuned his amber gaze on the clearing below, the faint outlines of horses in the distance; some with wings...others without.
"You know I will not -"
"They be tha' way..." Nono pointed a wing towards a tiny group of soquili in the distance, two of which caught his eye immediately. Lovey and Ignacia were easy to spot, but it was the tiny trio frolicking unsteadily at nearby the pair that held his attention. Like Ignacia, it seemed the Clearing had a good affect upon these new borns as well.
It brought a smile to his lips.
"The world will not know what has hit it..." Azumoth mused softly, though his tone was more thoughtful than disappointed.
[[Welcome to the family!]]
