It was early, a little too early if she didn't say so herself but there was little she could do. Her body had informed her that now was the appropriate hour to rise and refused to adhere to her orders. She had wanted to doze for just a little while longer. Take a few moments to collect her thoughts, finish her rather lovely dream and perhaps wait until the land had gotten a little warmer but apparently it was not to be.
Such a shame really.
Allowing her ears to swivel in response to each chirp of the early birds, she couldn't help but wonder if they felt the same as she did. There was no use complaining about it she supposed, pulling herself to her feet as she gave her dew covered pelt a shake. There were more important things to consider and many more interesting sights to see.
Mmph - although her stiff limbs begged to differ.
Never one to stay down for long though, the unicorn promptly slipped a warm smile onto her lips and gave her tail a lazy wag as she began to drift towards the small watering hole she'd found previously. There she would no doubt find a few critters to gossip with in the early morning sun as well as some good breakfast.
After that...well she'd figure out what she wanted to do when she got there. Spontaneity was best!

"Flame."
Nothing.
"Hey.... wake up..."
One fiery chestnut ear twitched in irritation, but the head-shoulders-thigh bone and tail remained stoically still. So still it was almost becoming an effort.
".... You're twitching."
The energy output increased tenfold, but still Flame kept himself quiet, hoping his warm and fuzzy companion would find another creature to bother. The extra body heat just wasn't worth the hassle anyway.
"Alright... I'll be back...."
Scratching sounds followed the declaration, and with obvious relief the big stallion relaxed his tense muscles and opened his eyes...
...Only to find a pair of amused violet ones glittering back at him a inch from his nose.
"AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Well that certainly hadn't been a singing bird. She'd heard tone deaf birds in her time but that one should have been put out of its misery at birth if it was a bird. Her ears perked immediately as the shriek caught her attention and it was with a cant of her head that her hooves came to a halt. She was in two minds about this given the intensity of the scream and the possible reasons behind it.
Number One: They could be exceptionally frightened of bugs. Number Two: There could be a predator. Number Three: They could have been hurt.
Of course this led her to believe that she also had just two options in terms of how to deal with said situation. She could either go and see what had happened (while risking the attack of a predator) or pretend it had never happened and carry on - the second wasn't completely viable given that the scream had originated from an area reasonably close to where she was headed.
Pfft, sometimes life just wasn't fair. To think she would have to get her pelt dirty if push came to shove. Had anyone been around she would have given a dramatic sigh of exasperation but there wasn't so really...there wasn't much point.
What a way to begin the morning.
The smile never leaving her lips she at last began to proceed forward once more until the scent of the watering hole filled her nostrils. Disregarding it for the time being she kept going until at last her eyes caught sight of what appeared to be...
...A big bear and a soquili.
Glancing from left to right, the mare was almost tempted to try and back away again in an almost 'pink panther' like fashion. Perhaps if she took a running jump and dived into the watering hole the bear wouldn't notice.
But then again there was the issue of the soquili so close to it.
Oooooh, so many decisions!

It took only a fraction of a second for fright to morph into wrath, and even less for a rich stream of colorfully unrecognizable curses to fill the air following the mood swing. Sitting back on his haunches, Gully stared up at his companion happily; the waves of angry testosterone parting before his cheerful demeanor.
"GULLY! I'M GETTING TOO OLD FOR THIS! BUT BY ALL THE SPIRITS I WILL TOSS YOU INTO THAT WATERING HOLE!" The stallion finished with a huff, tossing his heavy braids back from his eyes with a careless flick of his head.
Completely unabashed, Gully grinned and flopped over onto his back, exposing his belly. "Nah nah, You wouldn't cause I'd take you with me... just like last time.. hehe" The white bear writhed around abit before dissolving into giggles; leaving Flame staring down at him angrily... and futilely.

Sparkles gawked, to be frank and entirely honest she gawked - in the most unladylike of fashions to be exact. She had expected the bear to devour the stallion within seconds and yet, here the stallion was...yelling at the white bear who looked more cute and cuddly than he had done before. Truly, it was a sight to behold and for just a little while she just had to stare.
They wouldn't notice, they hadn't seen her after all.
It was during this time that the rather tall and lithe mare took the opportunity to 'observe' the soquili in a little more detail. Alright, so he wasn't lying on the ground dead or injured and now that he had pulled himself to his feet she did have to allow her lips to pucker in appreciation. Why were men always so harsh on themselves in terms of age? If he was old then he looked rather good for his age.
...More than 'rather'.
Sparkles couldn't resist the smile appearing on her lips and with another lazy wag of her tail she began to creep towards the pair. Her eyes gave a little twitch as he roared and she gave a little mental swoon - a result of appreciating the male form. So not only did he look attractive but he had that rather 'domineering' personality to boot.
Oooh, perhaps waking up early hadn't been such a bad idea!
"You...could always toss me into zee water 'ole if you desired, non?" She enquired in a rather strange tone.
