Vince was somewhat amused by Olivia's reaction when he'd suggested that he planned to keep her around. It was... Admittedly quite cute. Was this why she always teased him so? Their reactions and methods were quite different, but as a whole, there was something similar about the two. Before he could think on it too much though, the dance had ended, and the two were brought back to reality. They left the stage and Vince reintroduced the idea of buying some concessions while the kimono girls were on intermission, this time Olivia agreeing to at least tag along and maybe get a drink. When the offer was extended to her pokemon however, it became quickly clear that they were all quite hungry. Vince chuckled as Olivia suggested the chorus of cries could be taken as a yes. "No kidding." He agreed with amusement, though he paused as he caught a glimpse of movement, Olivia's hand reaching for his before she hesitated and pulled it away. Vince took a breath and opened his mouth, as though he intended to say something, but instead shifted uncomfortably and stuck his hands into his pockets, keeping his gaze to the floor as he followed her towards the concession stands.
On the way, Vince grabbed Huang Chen and Lin Hua to check their token progress and offer them the same courtesy as he had Olivia's pokemon. After all, the two deserved a treat for their hard work so far. While Olivia decided what she wanted, Vince got a lemonade and a sweet roll for himself, playing for everything himself. Before they made their way back to their seats however, Vince noticed that a group had gathered on the stage nearest the concessions stand, all in uniform except for the speaker. As they talked, Vince grew steadily uncomfortable, partially because of what was said, but mostly because he was watching as grunts started to cover a lot of the fairgrounds. This wasn't a coincidental maneuver, they were closing in, watching people very closely. Vince wanted to speak when Zinzolin's speech had finished, about to suggest that perhaps they start moving towards a different area. He didn't like this, not at all. He wasn't exactly familiar with Unova, but this group didn't feel too far off from Team Rocket, and if his experiences with them had anything to say, they needed to get out of here. Fast.
Knowing Olivia though, she wasn't going to be so easily persuaded to run from any injustice. Thankfully, the intercom crackled to life once again, calling out the winning tickets from the lottos, and Vince's number was among the winners. "Did I hear that right?" Vince pulled out his ticket, checking his number just in case. "Six fifty three, that was one of the numbers they called right...?" He almost couldn't believe he'd won, especially right now, when it was a really convenient excuse to get out of here. "Well then, why don't we go see what I won?" He suggested lightly, before his expression simpered. "It's getting a bit... Crowded here anyways." He suggested, unable to hide the bitterness in his voice as he looked pointedly at the nearest group of plasma grunts patrolling through the area.

Darren nodded lightly as Sable added on a little more information to his explanation to Gavyn. He hadn't really thought about the fact that mega evolution wasn't exactly common knowledge. How could he really? He'd studied it so extensively the moment he learned of it's existence that it felt like it should be common knowledge. He really needed to get out of his own head and better see things from other's perspectives.... Even Evan hadn't seemed to know how Saga's evolution had occurred, but he did know that she's swallowed her megastone. "Swallowed it? How bizzare." Darren chuckled, though before he could inquire further, Evan insisted it was a long story, indicating that he probably shouldn't ask. Gavyn thanked them both nonetheless for the explanation before commenting that he actually had a grovile named Sage, clearly amused, probably due to the similarity of names for the same species. When Evan introduced himself however, Darren felt inclined to do the same, though the manner in which he did it got him a playful teasing from Sable as she patted his shoulder. "Haha~ What...?" Darren asked rhetorically between chuckles, but Sable simply took the opportunity to introduce herself, Gavyn following suit soon after.
With all of them properly introduced, Darren resumed his inspection of Saga, spouting off facts and hypothesis about the seeds that grew on the backs of sceptile. He had gotten a little carried away, but when Gavyn suggested that he sounded like a professor, Darren grinned wide with pride. "Y-you think so?!" Though he was clearly happy to hear such a compliment, Darren hesitated shortly after, his excitement diminishing. "I-I mean.... I might know a few things but... Goodness, I'm nothing like Professor Oak. If you want to hear a real lecture, you should listen to him." He insisted sheepishly, running a hand through his hair. Evan seemed to agree as well, though he seemed to not know enough about sceptile to answer any of Darren's questions, even though he felt like he should. "Oh! It's fine, don't worry about it. I wasn't really expecting you to answer those questions, I just got a little carried away. Thinking aloud, you know?" He insisted, not wanting Evan to feel bad about it.
The sound of crackling static distracted Darren for a moment. "Oh! I wonder if they're announcing the lottos!" He predicted correctly, as they started reading out the winning numbers shortly after. Darren looked at his tickets and sighed, nothing for him this time around. "Did you guys get anything...?" He asked curiously. Meanwhile, a stage nearby had been inhabited with a group of Plasma grunts and one of their sages, who was now giving a festival wide speech addressing the idea that pokemon were prisoners to their trainers. Darren frowned as the speech went on. Being a member of Void, he was more than aware of who Plasma was, and the differing intentions the factions within Plasma held. It was all a ruse, but... A rather convincing one. Darren wouldn't deny that there were people out there who abused their pokemon like Plasma suggested, but there were also many kind, caring trainers who befriended their pokemon as well. Hopefully he was one of them, or at least, he was trying to be.

Zak frowned as, while following Scarlett, an email from his boss came through. That was way too fast for him to have replied-- Oh. He frowned, then raised an eyebrow. It wasn't a reply, but an email on a different subject entirely. A... Wow. A bonus. Zak grinned.

How deliciously convenient. A powerful water pokemon without the inconvenience of those.... absurd little pre-evolutions. Not that he had anything heavy against oshowott and dewott, they were... cute, but not particularly his type. He would definitely take their evolution over having to evolve them himself. If he was lucky, that meant it was strong, too, but he wouldn't get his hopes up; he'd seen plenty of fully evolved pokemon that needed ample training before they surged up to their proper strength.
Either way, that would have to wait, but... at least he had something to look forward to, through all this.

While Zak was following Scarlett, his pokemon were getting rounded up. Meebus had directed the game group already, and was now soaring towards the battling pokemon. While Daeva continued prowling around, increasingly aggravated that her teammates seemed to be getting more battles than her, Vorota, the very teammate who had been getting the most battles, wandered around absently. She had her little hands on her shell, and gazed about with curious eyes as she strolled the streets with the others. She blinked, though, as she noticed something shiny glisten from under one of the booths. She waddled over, peaking down at it, and then flopped onto her belly. She wiggled and reached out, trying to reach for it, straining to tilt her head back and extend her reach as she wiggled her fingers. Finally, she felt them brush the cool surface of the orb, and quickly scooted it back to her, withdrawing and tipping back to sit and look at the sphere in her hands. She gazed down at it with a wide gaze, her eyes shimmering a bit. It was pretty.... and it stirred something inside her.
An odd feeling began to expand, and grow inside her, her eyes locked onto the orb as she began to glow. Without any awareness of what was going on... she began to evolve-- thrice over.

Scarlett was amused by Zak's admittance that she was getting to know him better, but they both knew that it was only surface level, as his smirk suggested. "Perhaps." She agreed flippantly. She would take surface level understanding over nothing at all, honestly. That wasn't to say she wasn't up to the challenge of trying to understand Zak on a deeper level, but for now, she was satisfied with her progress. It was a satisfaction short lived however as Plasma came to crash the little medieval party, and if Zak's scowl was anything to go by, he was just as thrilled at their appearance as Scarlett, which was to say, not at all. Admittedly it made her feel rather justified in ignoring most of the speech and then mouthing off to the grunt that tried to engage her. Sure, she was kind of asking for it given her blatant disrespect, but it wasn't like she was shouting out profanities, she had simply chosen not to listen, and if they wanted to persecute her over her silent opinion, then they could go to hell. Her opinion was her opinion, they should have been thankful she didn't decide to speak out against the absolute BS they were spewing.
When all was said and done though, Zak had finished his text and Scarlett insisted that they were going to go hunt down Zinzolin instead of breaking their racing bet tie. Zak was unimpressed however, implying that beating these punks down was a waste of her date, but he obviously wouldn't complain too much, given that it was her time to spend how she chose. "A stór, there are a thousand ways I'd rather be spendin' our little date than dealin' with this crap, trust me." She smirked, implications abound. "But take a quick gander around ya love; there's Plasma members every which where. Ya think they're gonna leave us alone ifn we ignore em?" She suggested. "Nah, I'm not gonna waste time trying to relax with you only t' get interrupted every five minutes by some idiot in a knight's costume, demandin' that we release our pokemon for the 'greater good' of the world. I'd much rather get right to the saurce of tha problem and kick his a** far starting this damn riot in the first place, that way we can get back to our date without the interruptions." She explained, rolling her shoulders back and turning to Zak.
She would have said something else along those lines, but given that he was grinning down at his device, she was distracted. "What's up?" She asked curiously. He'd had his nose buried in that thing ever since Plasma showed up, so obviously something was going on. While she doubted Zak would give her the full juicy details, she at least wanted some idea, especially if it explained why he was grinning like that. Admittedly, part of her was a little irked that his attention was so focused on the device when she wanted it on her, but she didn't let it show, more interested in finding out why his attention was diverted rather than picking a stupid, meaningless fight with him.

Having taken a break from their game playing, Luffy and the others eagerly wanted to continue playing. Louhi had taken the chance during the break to count out the tokens so he'd know exactly when they'd reach their goal. They were far from it, but it wasn't like anyone was really worried about the total, so much as just succeeding at the games. Hronn was left to take care of the Berry bobbing game, while Aska tested his skill at the Crossbow game. Both came back with astonishing results. Aska nearby got two bull's eyes, and Hronn returned with 8 tokens from the berry bobbing game. Luckily this time he didn't swallow the berries and was able to return them to the attendant in tact. The group moved on to the next set of games, not before hearing after some lotto numbers an announcement over the loudspeakers from someone named Zinzolin. Louhi was the first to show his opinion on his face, Luffy was the first to speak on it however. "Evan's not like that." The feline stated. "Right?" As they proceeded with the games, something seemed to be distracting Louhi. His poor attempt at the plate shattering game evident to this. He could help but feel something bad was going to happen. His premonition came true when he heard Fylgia's light screech in the distance. She'd went with Aska and Hronn to try out the Bean bag game, only to be snatched up from behind by two men in odd clothing. Looking around, Louhi noticed Zoro and Luffy had wandered off. He narrowed his gaze quickly approaching the two oddly dressed men, even for this festival's fashion. As he drew closer he caught their conversation. "--- look, this one is really rare. I've never seen a Pokemon like this before." one stated. A younger, fidgety one next to him seemed unsure about Hronn and Aska, both ready to attack the two men. "Y-ea, but aren't we suppose to be liberating Pokemon from trainers... Do these Pokemon have trainers?" The koi one asked. Turning his gaze to his cohort, the male grinned. "We're suppose to be liberating Pokemon period. This is a rare one, so is that Archen, and that Marshtomp. Ghestis would praise us for finding three super rare Pokemon." Not entirely convinced, but not willing to disagree with his companion the man gave in, and reached for a pokeball attached to his suit of armour. "H-how are we suppose to get these ones though?" The male asked. 'You will not get any of them!' Louhi stated loud and clear. The two men spun around, not expecting Hronn and Ask to charge. Hronn struck them both in the back of their legs, sending both topping down backwards, while Aska jumped up and swooped in to snatch Fylgia. 'My friends and myself belong to a kind and trustworthy human, and I will not tolerate any talk of liberation when it comes to my friends.' Louhi voiced, holding up both his spoons, ready to attack. "S-s**t. A Kadabra." The more assertive man stated. "We're going to have to fight." The less assertive one nodded, quickly calling out his first and only Pokemon. A Watchog. Not a entirely good match-up for Louhi, luckily Origin stepped in, growling at the male and his Pokemon.

Meanwhile elsewhere at the fair, Zoro hadn't intended to wander away from the group. He just somehow found himself suddenly near the jousting bets. Luffy had tagged along, not wanting Zoro to end up getting lost. He knew right were Louhi and the other's had been going, so it was just a matter of returning to them. However, the two of them didn't pass up the opportunities to play some games themselves. Completely unaware of the danger the others were in. Zoro bet on the jousting matches, surprisingly getting first place! While Louhi's luck at the Catapult game was... well, he wasn't to happy with the results, though to him one token was better than none. Meeting back up, the two of them decided it was best they headed back to find everyone, less they get a lecture from old Louhi.

With all the grunts around and disturbances abound, there wasn't much opportunity to maintain their playful banter from before. There was, however, time to complain about the detour, which Zak grabbed at, but without much seriousness or sincerity. He smirked a little at her comment on other ways to spend their time, but visibly grimaced when she called him 'love'. He knew it was a cultural or mannerism thing, which was why he didn't interrupt her and call her out on it, but it was fairly clear he did not enjoy or appreciate the endearment. He in fact very much did not, for a host of reasons, none of which he was likely to go into depth on, aside from "Just not liking it". Given his personality, though, that little fact likely wouldn't be surprising.
"Vell, zey might eef I kept Daeva nearby..." he remarked, raising an eyebrow. She was a fairly intimidating figure, and even if looks weren't enough, he was pretty sure if she had his permission, she would be happy to take a couple bites out of them. He shrugged. "But, fine Mishka. Eef you vant to try and take heem on, I von't stop you. I've already told my pokemon to meet up vis us, anyvay," he drawled on, looking around. He was quickly distracted by a message from his boss, which was surprising given he had just messaged them. But, the email was about something completely different. Something even better than answers, in fact. He was grinning over it even after he pulled his attention form it, and apparently it was enough to catch Scarlett's attention. "Nusing, just a bonus from vork," he replied with a smirk, "Maybe I'll show you later." Unlikely. He wasn't exactly paranoid, but he didn't now how traceable the pokemon was, and he didn't want her somehow using it to find out who or where he worked, or anything about his work. That was possibly even worse than her discovering his identity.
"Anyvay.... just vhere do you expect to find zis man, anyvay?" he questioned, placing his hands in his pockets as he gazed around. Plenty of grunts around... hopefully Meebus got his message and was working to get everyone back soon.

Even though he thanked her and claimed that he more or less understood, Sable wasn't really sure if it sat well with him or not. Although the concept was simple enough in and of itself, since the individual parts were nothing new in terms of evolution, it was still something people were still getting used to in general. Especially since it didn't just rely on the usual methods of evolution, but it instead required a special stone and a strong bond. The closest any other kinds of pokemon came to those requirements were those that evolved through friendship, and even that was still slightly uncommon knowledge.
When Evan commented on his sceptile having swallowed her mega stone, Sable couldn't help but giggle at the thought."Oh... Oh my... Aha... I guess that's one way to keep it close... Haha..."It really was rather amusing to the teen, since it seemed that some pokemon would try to eat just about anything. Although, she'd have expected that problem more with a snorlax than a sceptile. Before Sable could really say much else, Darren couldn't help but go into full exposition mode concerning sceptile, their seeds, and the possibility that mega evolution could make those seeds more potent. That ended up causing another batch of giggles to occur, although it was more due to Darren's reaction to the praise he received rather than his little lecture."Ehehe, c'mon, Darren. I'm sure-"Before the teen could really say something to encourage her friend, though, the speakers positioned around the fair crackled to life for a few announcements. The first one was about another lotto being pulled, with one of the numbers sounding pretty familiar, so Sable hurriedly pulled out her own tickets and checked."...Oh! Looks like I got one~"The teen's surprise was obvious, since she didn't feel like she was usually that lucky. Still, one of her tickets did indeed match up with a winning number. Granted, it was third place, and it was for pokeballs, but it was better than nothing!
While Sable was looking over her tickets, another announcement was being played. Something about some sort of speech that was supposed to happen soon."A speech, huh...? I guess that'd be up towards the main stage,"Jin commented, earning a nod from his trainer."Probab- huh?"Looking towards that stage, it did indeed seem like there were people getting ready for a presentation, or at least a speech. Banners with an unfamiliar emblem hung where people could see them and an elderly man wearing some sort of robe came up to speak. What he said, though, bothered Sable quite a bit. Glancing over, she noticed that Darren was frowning about something, and although she couldn't know it, some of the reasons for their dislike of the speech were shared. Bad people were everywhere, Sable knew that, but it wasn't like everyone tried to force their pokemon to do things they didn't want to. And even if she was guilty of that... She at least hoped her pokemon would let her know, either in their own ways or through Jin.
For a short time after the speech was finished, Jin and Sable stared in the direction of the platform that the man called Zinzolin stood on. Disbelief was evident on both of their faces."...What...?"Sable muttered quietly, as if some of what was said was one of the dumbest things she had heard. Sure, he prettied it up nicely, but the idea still made some pretty nasty assumptions about the average trainer and their pokemon. Jin managed to settle on a scowl as his own thoughts started to assemble themselves."...Does he actually believe the crap he's spewing?""...Jin...?"The dark type's sudden comment caused some of the nearby members of the crowd to look towards the group for the source, a fact that the trainer was trying to alert her zorua to.
Unfortunately, it seemed that Jin was too caught up in his own thought process to really notice the concern behind his trainer's voice."Does this guy honestly believe that pokemon would bother to do any of those things just because some human stuffs 'em in capsules? That's a laugh!"Jin even let out some actual laughter, even if it was in a mocking tone, due to his comment. Admittedly, he had meant for it to only be heard by Sable and the others, but he was a little bit louder than he intended to be."I mean, someone stupid enough to actually try and force their pokemon to do something they have no interest in is lucky if they just loaf around. Piss them off too much and they might end up throwing an elemental attack yer way.""...Jin..."The most the disguised zorua seemed to notice of Sable's attempt at getting his attention was that she spoke."I know, sis. I get it. Out where you're from, you kinda have to get over petty differences and work together if necessary. But around here, pokemon pretty much have the option of ditching trainers whenever the hell they want. About the only thing people can do is put them back in the ball, and, uh, quite frankly, that's not much of a deterrent. There are a lot of pokemon that can let themselves out, and if lunch hour goes bad, it's not like you can call back more than a couple at a time. Add into it all of the ways that a pokemon can overpower a human, even when that pokemon's something like a rattata or a pidgey, and it's just stupid to thi- AH!""JIN!"Jin's rant was suddenly cut short by his trainer clocking him on the back of the head with a closed fist.
The dark type let out a few whining whimpers as he gently rubbed at the back of his head."What'd ya do tha-"As the disguised zorua whined at Sable, he suddenly noticed that the crowd that gathered around him and the group during his rant didn't consist of average faire-goers. A patchy wall of silver and white surrounded the group, with each tabard worn on the knight costumes bearing the same symbol as the banners hung on the stage the speech had been given on."...Oh..."Sable let out a sigh as one of the Plasma grunts that had turned their attention to the disguised zorua stepped up."Yeah, 'oh.' Nice going, loudmouth,"the teen grumbled quietly, then stepped up so that she was between Jin and the grunt that was about to challenge him.
"Step aside, miss,"the operative said rather in a calm yet bold voice as he made a small shooing motion with his hand."We have no quarrel with you, so long as you do as you're told."The man then pointed at Jin, who was trying to back up roughly towards the center of the group."That friend of yours needs to be taught some manners, though."Sable scoffed at the man's claim and started digging around in her pack."Like I haven't heard that one before,"the teen retorted as she pulled out what she was rooting around for, a pokeball containing one of her pokemon. She had shoved them in her bag because there hadn't really been a spot to clip them onto with how the dress was."Besides, I'm not really keen on this whole liberation farce anyway, so why not just cut to the chase?"
The operative frowned as he unclipped a ball from his belt."And here I thought a lady like yourself might be civil about this. I hope your loss will show you the error of your ways,"the man lamented as he tossed the ball in front of him, letting out a scrafty that seemed rather at odds with how the man tried to present himself. Sable managed to stifle a laugh without holding her hand up, but only barely."You truly are a poor judge of character if you think I'm a lady..."Sable also tossed her ball out to let out the pokemon within, revealing her murkrow. Not exactly what she was hoping for, but he'd do."...And an even worse one if you thought I'd lose this. Start with Wing Attack!"Sable gave a short and sharp wave towards the scrafty as she let out her command. In response, Aku dove towards the thug pokemon, striking it with wings that glowed a silvery blue."Confuse it with Swagger!"The scrafty's eyes glowed red, and a similar red glow overtook Aku's own eyes as their gazes met.
A quiet growl rumbled in Sable's throat as Aku let out a screeching caw."It hasn't moved, so circled back for another Wing Attack!"It was a bit of a long command, but even through his daze, the murkrow was able to make a wobbly u-turn before diving towards the scrafty. It was waiting and tried to jump out of the way to make the dark bird hit the dirt, but Sable caught onto its movements rather quickly."Left!"Aku wasn't quite sure, himself, since he was seeing double, but decided to try and follow his trainer's last-second command and veer towards the image on the left. It wasn't a clean hit, as the image Aku saw didn't quite line up with where the scrafty was actually standing, but it was close enough that the thug pokemon was hit rather hard.
Back in the entrance area, Oaken and Sable's eevee were oblivious to the chaos going on around the faire. Either that, or they were too busy trying to collect tokens to care. The servine managed to have some good luck as all three bean bags he tossed made it through the hole, earning him seven tokens. The eevee also had decent luck, launching the tympole plushie a good distance and earning yet another seven tokens. It still wasn't much in the token pouch, but it was enough to make it weigh more than any of the berries they had.

Disappointed, but not discouraged, the Plasma operative recalled his fallen scrafty."I will concede that you were lucky, but that won't be enough for you to win,"he told Sable in what was supposed to be a tone of warning as he tossed out his next pokemon, a whirlipede. Sable couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the man's choice in pokemon."A bug against a bird? That sounds like a recipe for disaster to me."Sable's comment seemed to cause the man to let out a small huff."Screech, whirlipede!"The insect seemed all too happy to let out a grating, ear-piercing squeal, causing both Sable and Jin to cringe and cover their ears. Aku didn't have the benefit of hands or paws, so he instead tried to counter the noise with loud, squawking caws of his own."Luck can go both ways, miss, and I seem to have set the odds in my favor,"the man commented, seemingly unbothered by the noise.
Sable's skepticism of the man's words was plain to see as a titled frown crossed her face."I doubt it. Wing Attack!"At Sable's command, Aku let out another screeching caw and swooped down, slamming his wing into the bug. It was a direct hit, but not enough of one to knock out the insect. As the dark bird swooped back upwards, the operative pointed at it."Poison Sting! Shoot it down!"Purple needles shot out of the whirlipede's mouth and struck Aku's back and wings. While it wasn't enough to knock the bird out of the sky, it did manage to poison the pokemon. It also snapped the dark bird out of his confusion."Once more! Wing Attack!"With a final squawk, Aku dove and struck the whirlipede again, this time finishing it off."That's two so far. Ya know... For a group trying to liberate pokemon, you certainly do have quite a few on your belt,"the teen commented as the bird landed nearby. He was looking like he needed some rest, although that was more from the poison itself than the damage he took during the battle.
Meanwhile, Sable's eevee had some great luck. All three platters crumbled before the might of his Iron Tail and aiming skills. That earned the fluffball a solid six tokens, which were added to the nine that Oaken brought over from the crossbow range. He hadn't had the best showing, but it was certainly enough to make the small collection in the bag grow a bit larger. Neither of them were really sure how many they should shoot for, but as many as possible sounded good to them.

Licorice was still miffed about her loss of concentration, which meant less tokens claimed, but was determined to try and give the next few games her all-- or at least... all that she could muster--in order to make up for her absolutely abysmal attempts from earlier. Her determination seemed to do the trick, for now at least, as she managed to sink all three bean bags into the hole then get another seven feet in her catapult game; perhaps next time, if she gave it her whole 100% she'd actually get her plushie to the end of the field, the whole ten feet.

With her plan of 'putting forth efficiency' and 'actually trying' now in motion Licorice found an... actual improvement in her game play, surprisingly enough. First the bean bag game, and now the plate game: this time she'd managed to hit all three plates, which was... new. Despite her increase in skill, Licorice couldn't help but remain suspicious. It was most likely just by good luck that she was managing to get such good results, but, even if that was true, she was going to make sure to milk this 'luck' until it ran dry or she was drowning in tokens. Whichever came first.

After retreating from the stage Olivia made sure to draw in a deep breath to try and clear her mind before they went off to do anything else, the last thing she needed to do was miss something just because she was daydreaming about her dance with Vince, honestly it was just a dance; no need to go crazy over it. Without the chance to be stopped this time Vince invited her to come with him to the concession, which she accepted, though since she didn't know what she immediately wanted she turned to her pokemon to see if they wanted anything. What she received was a very obvious 'yes', to which she reiterated with a hint of humor in her tone. Vince agreed with her, finding amusement in their response as well, and the two moved off to grab their snacks. Before that, however, Olivia found herself slipping up when she automatically went to take Vince's hand to tug him along, though thankfully she remembered in time and withdrew her hand before Vince noticed, or at least that's what she thought and hoped. This wasn't like the pens, neither one of them was dragging the other away, so there was no need to hold hands.
With her mind slowly revolving around food Olivia made a pit-stop on their way over to the concession stand, using the opportunity of Vince going to check in on Huang Cheng and Lin to do the same with Licorice, making sure that she was still doing well and to see if she wanted anything to eat as well. When she declined the pinkette continued on, taking a look over the menu to decide what to get herself and her pokemon when they drew close enough. With so many items to choose from she went the safe route for her pokemon and got them all pretzels, and for herself she grabbed a bag of popcorn and a bottle of water. Vince ended up paying for them both once they'd both decided on food, something she eventually dismissed so as not to start up a pointless argument, and now armed with food the two began to make their way back to their seats. Out of the corner of her eye Olivia noticed movement on the stage and, half expecting it to be the kimono girls preparing to start up their second act, she turned to look in that direction, only to stiffen when she got a good look at the group. Instantly recognizing the logo of Team Plasma's Olivia's expression set into a scowl as one of the sages, Zinzolin, started in about pokemon liberation, one that was able to be heard throughout the entire fair, and not just the staging area.
Gritting her teeth Olivia watched as Zinzolin wrapped his speech up and Plasma grunts began to disperse and head throughout the different locations of the fair. Meebus darted through the fair, searching for Daeva and the others. He found the dragon first, but her head was turned back, a frown on her face as her attention was clearly directed elsewhere. Meebus quickly turned to see a fading light-- but surprisingly, Vorota was standing behind the glowing form, and as the light dissipated, it was not the evolved squirtle, but rather Stranny that stood up. Completely changed, in fact. Somehow, he must have found his own item, because when he evolved, inspired, perhaps, by Vorota-- he completely changed colors. The pretty shard he'd found was gone when the process was over, but he looked at himself curiously to see his colors weren't what they were before. Meebus stared at the two, while Vorota came up, looking with interest at Stranny as well.
"Blaaaaast," she observed curiously. The rotom continued looking at them, his expression... almost as blank as usual, but the intensity, consistency of his stare, was just ever so different. Well.... this had never happened before...
