At the very heart of the Renaissance Festival, there are stages set up everywhere as one of the main attractions of the event. Various acts, plays, poetry readings, and events are set up at different stages and rotated out. There is a photobooth area where people can dress up in costume and take pictures with props on stage between the plays and acts. There are reenactments of historical events, plays, tragedies, stunts, poetry reading, and pokemon performances. A playbill is posted up just about everywhere so that people can see what acts are happening when, and plan their travels around the fair accordingly.
There is also a ponyta and rapidash ride set up a few paces away from the stage so that children and those young at heart can enjoy trotting around on a small track with the friendly fire types. If you're particularly interested, you can also learn how to brush, feed, and equip a ponyta with a saddle and harness, or help walk them around. For the less adventurous, there is a petting zoo set up with mareep, dratini, skiddo and gogoat, goomy, noibat, swablu, herdier, buneary, miltank, and deerling set up in separate stalls where people can interact with the various pokemon.

As they grew closer to the music, the louder it became. It was something like a melody, somber but beautiful. A poster nearby detailed the coming play, that was to start soon. "Of Dragons and men? A historical reenactment of a familiar Unovan tale..." That's right, she'd heard of this story. One brother of truths and another brother of ideals... both fought one another over which method was better. To be honest, she believed more in truth ideals' herself. One wouldn't think that of Avikna though. Honestly she remembered people utterly shocked she'd said she'd rather live in an idealistic world. Telling the truth was often seen as the best idea, to always be honest. But when does honesty need to step aside to save someone from being hurt? Avikna seemed the type that wouldn't hold back any punches, like she was honest to a tee, but in truth. She didn't like always being blunt about her opinions. She'd rather see people blissfully ignorant if it didn't hurt them in any way.
Taking a seat, she was joined by Mave. Given the crowd was thin, barely ten people including Avikna sat in the fairly large area set for an audience to sit, the red-head decided to release her Pokemon. They deserved the fresh air as much as anyone else did. Aislin was first to be disgruntled by the choice in play going on. 'Who cares about some stupid brothers who fought with dragons?' The Lucario grumbled. "If you don't want to stay and watch, go play some games." Aislin folded her paws over her chest, frowning. 'Fine.' Storming away, the Lucario was quickly out of sight. 'You sure that's a smart idea?' Mave quirked a brow. Avikna folded her arms, looking down towards the stage, regardless of nothing going on. "I don't care. She can get lost and never return for all I care. That brat needs to be taught a lesson." Avikna replied.
The rest of Avikna's Pokemon seemed content with staying by their trainer. Ertila and Nijrn, practically sisters at this point rested beside one another to the right of Avikna's feet. Bahamut and Alduin rested behind the red-head, sitting practically in Arietty's lap. The large mega Charizard had rested down on the earth, taking this time to rest her legs. Aer took to the sky, flying over the rest of group, he loved being up in the air, and this was the perfect opportunity to really get in some airtime. Ule'tra and Terra sat somewhat disconnected from the group, both silently watching the stage for something to happen. Astrid and Zelda fell into a deep conversation with one another, mostly about dealing with humans and Zelda's recent evolution. And finally, Lexera. Poor sweet, fairly dense in the head, Lexera had been the one to wander off, lead by her stomach. Ertila was first to notice the wandering sheep, and of course after following her, Nirjn followed in suit, landing upon the Goomy so they could keep pace with one another.
Aislin in the meantime had wandered some distance away, finding the games. She tried her luck at a bean bag game, doing pretty bad. Her Crossbow game was even worse. Regardless, she did get some tickets, and in the canine's head, she felt she'd gotten more than Avikna at least, though entirely wrong, it didn't matter to the canine as she wandered off to find some more games to play.

Walking into the next area, where a sign telling him it was the Staging Area he wanted to see what was going on hearing instruments being played. There was a few plays going on along with an area with some Pokemon Trainers showing off how to properly take care of Ponyta and Rapidash. There was also a petting zoo where young children where playing with and hugging various Pokemon. Looking at his Pokenav Simon saw he could play games again and went towards the booths pausing at one of the Playbills which was about a Eveelution Special featuring Johto's Ecruteak Kimono girls. Wondering if Zuki was here he decided to check later to see if his old friend was here. Taking aim this time he got lucky and managed to get all three bean bags into the holes in the target board scoring seven tokens. Hoping his luck continued on he moved over to the Froakie Toss hoping to get his favorite starter doll as far as it could go. The plush flew ten feet which was indeed the max netting him another ten tokens.

Not leaving right away since Simon seemed to be on a roll he moved over to the next game. Picking up the rocks he tossed one in the air and caught it. Calculating the arch of the throw he tossed each rock hearing a crash each time. Thanking the attendant he happily collected six tokens. Moving over to the crossbow range he picked the old fashioned weapon up and took aim. The first shot went wild hitting the outermost ring, the next one hit the third ring. Taking aim he tried to focus before hitting a Bullseye! In total he won another nine tokens. Putting them into a small leather purse he located he smiled thinking it would look authentic will it was filled up with tokens aka coins.

The Rapidash jousting area out here was much larger so as he placed his bed he settled in sending out Aron to watch the horses battle it out. They both cheered as Simon's Rapidash placed third which wasn't last place so it was better than last time. Returning Aron he went to the both and collected his three tokens before heading over the berry bobbing section. After the timer went off he started to bob for the berries gasping for air but managing to snag seven berries. Collecting seven tokens he accepted seven Lum Berries. Drying off he started to the tents where the Kimono Sisters might be hanging around but before he could there was a jester who rolled up to him. Avikna wasn't entirely bored sitting around with her Pokemon as she continued to wait for the play to start. Ule'tra and Arietty had decided to have a bit of a spar, which was why she was pretty entertained. Ule'tra had a fairly large disadvantage, given Arietty's ability to fly, while Ule'tra was strictly earthbound. It wasn't long before their little play-fighting had drawn in a fairly large crowd. One male in particular watched with a interested gaze of sorts.
Meanwhile, Aislin wasn't fairing to well at her attempts at the games. Her attempt at the 'Shatter the Platter' game was laughable. She missed twice and barely nicked the third plate. To save himself from being attacked himself, the poor attendant gave Aislin her two tokens for hitting the third plate. The next game she decided to attempt was the berry bobbing one. Even with her long snout, she only managed to get two berries. Two Lum berries. Taking them and her two token prize, the canine moved on to another game, hoping her luck would start improving. Arietty coming up the victor in the end, Ule'tra began sulking, turning to Terra to have a Sensei/Student spar. The male from earlier approached Avikna with a fairly cocky grin. "You seem to like dragons don't cha?" He mused, placing a hand on his hip, pushing back his jacket to show off two red Pokeballs... Were those Cherish balls? What on earth would this man have in a rare ball like that? Avikna wasn't to interested, but still, it seemed he was trying, flatly, to ask Avikna for a battle. "Yes, I do." She replied sharply. "Care for a battle than? I got an item that might interest you" He motioned towards Arietty. "Her mostly." Avikna's brow arched. Okay now she was interested. What could he have that would interest her?
Aislin the in the mean time, was starting to get back some luck. At the Catapulting game, she got a pretty good toss in, yielding her 7 whole tickets. Then, as she bet at some jousting matches the one she bet on got second place! It wasn't first, but that duel had been pretty even, so it was a fair loss. Collecting her prize of five tokens, the canine eagerly went to the next game.
Meanwhile, Ertila, Nijrn and the doting Lexera had manged to make their way all the way to the Pokemon Petting Zoo. The attendants, being fairly new at this, mistook Nijrn and Lexera for some of their charges. Ertila they allowed in, due to the dragons attachment to Nijrn. Trying to figure out what to do with the evolved Mareep, Lexera, the three of them were allowed to wander around their pen, getting petted by younger humans. Colour Nijrn surprised when she ran into other Noibat like herself.

They decided on a simple three on three. Avikna choose Arietty, Zelda and Astrid. The Dragonair of course was pumped to finally get to be in another battle. With her Pokemon picked out, the male sent forward his first Pokemon.... a Parasect. What a lack luster Pokemon.. but that wasn't the kicker... the one that really sent Avikna into anger point rampage was this mans Cloyster. She had to of wasted at least 4 full restores on Arietty, just so she could build up enough strength to take down the shelled water-type with her strongest move. Once Avikna put her mind to something.. there was no stopping the bull-headed red-head.
Meanwhile, Aislin was busy with the Bean Bag game and the Crossbow game. She got all three bags through their holes at the Bean Bag game, and the Crossbow game she hit the same ring on the targets.. finding out that's not how one wins the big prize, she sulked away from the game with her nine token winnings. Something was better than nothing.

Sending out Seedot the small Pokemon remained at his side as the Jester sent out his first Pokemon, Pignite. Considering sending out Aron he was worried about the typing of Pignite being fire but sent him out anyway hoping that this Pignite knew more physical attacks instead of fiery special attacks. Luckily for Aron the first thing Pignite did when he got to the field was roll into a ball and smash into him. Aron used take down again which was good since once rollout got up to speed it could be a devastating attack. A second take down knocked Pignite out and Simon cheered Aron on, as did Seedot. Now might not be the time to be training the little guy though so Simon returned him but kept Aron out for the next battle.

The jester frowned as he returned what was probably his starter before sending out the next Pokemon, Lileep. A decent fossil Pokemon who had the advantage of being grass as well as rock. Nodding at Aron who looked at Simon to see if he was switching out or not the Pokemon used take down again as the choice band prevented him from using any other attacks while powering up that one attack. Lileep used the ghost type move astonish which knocked Aron back but didn't cause the flinch so he was able to rear up and use take down one last time.

Returning his defeated Pokemon the Jester looked confused before sending out Smoochum. "Your Pokemon keeps using the move take down correct?" Simon nodded. "Shouldn't that move be hurting him, the recoil?" "Normally yes but Aron here has a rare ability where he doesn't take recoil damage from moves that normally have it." The Jester nodded, it was a great ability for any Pokemon to have especially a strong attacker. Smoochum came up and used her hands to attack Aron with confusion, luckily the steel Pokemon was strong against psychic moves and shook it off before rushing and knocking out the ice Pokemon.

Halfway through the battle and Aron was looking pretty good. If he managed to keep this up there was a good chance that Aron would evolve after this battle was over, maybe sooner. Then the Jester's next Pokemon came out as Lopunny. Another take down did a good amount of damage but the fighting Pokemon launched itself up into the air, kicking down and knocking Aron back doing a fair amount of damage. Jumping up and tackling a take down again Aron won but he was starting to look a bit tired. Depending on the next Pokemon and attack Simon considered healing him up soon.

The next Pokemon out was a Kricketune and Simon had to agree that this trainer had a great mix of Pokemon. Considering his starter Simon thought he was going to be using Greninja but luckily Aron was able to keep it up. A slash from Kricketune brought Aron's health low enough that Simon would heal him up on the next turn. However Aron strode on smashing into the bug knocking it out. Breathing heavy Simon started to call him back when he started to glow. The shape got bigger until the light cleared away and Simon scanned him, "Lairon the iron armor Pokemon. Lairon feeds on iron contained in rocks and water. It makes its nest on mountains where iron ore is buried. As a result, the Pokemon often clashes with humans mining the iron ore." Calling out congratulations Simon also called Aron, no Lairon back to heal him up.

"Articuno the freeze Pokemon. Articuno is a legendary bird Pokemon that can control ice. The flapping of its wings chills the air. As a result, it is said that when this Pokemon flies, snow will fall." Lairon was excited to battle this Pokemon as mist filled the field. Seeing this Simon had an idea telling Lairon to switch up this round calling out for his strongest move of super power. Normally Super Power was strong but lowered attack and defense, with Mist on the field it didn't have that downside. The next move Articuno read Lairon's mind however all it could see was that the next move was another Super Power knocking it out. When the battle was over the Jester smiled and let him go. Thanking him he instead returned Lairon and went back over to the game booths.

Heading up to the bean bag toss Simon hoped that his luck would continue especially after that win and Aron evolving. Picking up the bags he took aim and tossed them. Pumping his arm he cheered himself as he managed to get all three bags into the holes. Collecting the tokens he moved on to the next one using the Froakie doll again as his good luck charm before knocking the board and sending the doll flying. However it only flew half the distance as last time, regardless he thanked the attendant and collected his four tokens.

Avikna was entirely done with this battle long before the male even brought out his final Pokemon. That Cloyster really did a number on Arietty, but the fire lizard in the end prevailed... 5 or so Full restores later. Avikna wasn't one to give in, even when sorely outmatched... as far as the Cloyster went that is... his other two Pokemon weren't really to hard a challenge to overcome. Whatever the case, she'd won.. the item.. whatever it was, was hers. "Phew! That was a tough one!" The male called out, wiping sweat from his brow. "Just give me the item and go." Avikna's temper was practically radiating off of her. The man looked up with a grin, waving a hand. "Come now, You're to impatient. T-" "Give it to me, or I'll just beat it out of you!" The red-head's common sense took over, leaving her to jolt forward, grabbing the male by the scruff of his shirt. He quickly held up his hands in a defensive gesture, that grin of his was gone now. "O-okay okay, calm down.. H-here" Shakily he reached down into his bag and pulled out a small blue box. Opening it, still in Avikna's grip, it revealed a fair sized blue orb with a Blue and black flame-looking cat-eye in it's center. It looked almost identical to the one Arietty currently had tucked under her wing, save the colours. "I-it's a Charizardite.." The male stammered. "I grabbed it by mistake when I went to exchange my tickets..." Avikna's gaze left the stone for a moment. "Why didn't you just go back and get another one?" The male glanced away sheepishly. " "I kinda embarrassed myself in front of the token lady..." Avikna rolled her eyes, finally letting the male go, slightly pushing him as she did. He stumbled back, but kept his ground, holding the stone forward. "Here, have it. I've no use for it." Well, regardless she did win it off him. "And here, take these too, I don't really care for my Pokemon learning move artificially." Holding forward two big mushrooms, Avikna happily, though still with a scowl, accepted them as well.
Aislin in the meantime had ventured back to take another crack at the Berry bobbing game. She did better this go around, getting 6 berries instead of 4 last time. With a cocky little grin, the Lucario moved on to another set of games. Testing her skills at the Bean Bag game, she managed to get all three bags into their holes perfectly. Rejoicing she quickly accepted her tokens and moved on to the next game.
