Super Sailor Ymir“I thought—... yes,” Ymir amended when he caught sight of the jackalope again. The purple ribbon around its neck might offer some camouflage within the flowers, but the sight of it now seemed stark.
It was so close. Ymir could stare it in the eye. Wary of scaring the creature away again, Ymir slowly sank onto his knees. Maybe if he made himself smaller, if he looked as unthreatening as possible… He didn’t care for any prize or recognition. All he wanted was a single touch—maybe a cuddle, if the jackalope consented.
“Hello,” Ymir greeted the creature, keeping his voice soft.Guine It scampers off again before Surtur can get a look at it. Jk we'll see what the rng decide. Quote: Ymir just wants to surround himself with cute woodland creatures. crying

Super Sailor Perdita“I haven’t heard that anyone was seriously hurt,” Perdita reassured Connie. “Not on our side, anyway.”
The bank fiasco had been… well, a fiasco, but it could have been a lot worse, and they got a new Princess out of it. Plus they’d managed to thwart whatever nefarious plans the Negaverse had been coming up with. Though Perdita wished it could have been done without so much destruction, she was practical enough to understand that sometimes those things couldn’t be avoided.
“To be honest, I haven’t had much luck with meeting new people either,” she commiserated with Belmont. “Part of that’s probably my own fault for not coming out as much as I should, or not using some of the resources we have to connect with people. There’s an app you can get for your ring if you don’t have it already. I… Well, I know I personally have a hard time reaching out to people, but… I have another friend. Oberon. We could all meet up sometime if you ever wanted. He knows a lot of people, so he’s usually where I get news and information from.”

Transcended Princess Eternal Sailor Ganymede“I…” Ganymede hesitated, blocking out the memories that threatened to rise. “The Ganymede before me went to Eupheme, yes. He was the Captain of the Jovian Court. He made a lot of diplomatic visits to various moons.
“I don’t want to tell you too much,” she continued, her expression turning thoughtful. “I think it’s important for you to experience it for yourself. You might have memories there, or in other places that were important to your past self. Eupheme is the source of your power, so it isn’t my place to share it with you. When you’re ready, you can share it with me.”
Eupheme wouldn’t know it, and Ganymede had no intention of telling her lest she ruin her chances, but it was Ganymede’s hope that in experiencing her world and learning about her past without interference from someone who already knew, Eupheme might be granted the protection of her moon just as Ganymede had been.
“You probably won’t have the energy to bring anyone right away, unless you’re bringing me or Valhalla,” Ganymede cautioned her. “We can replenish some of the energy you’d lose. I haven’t brought a lot of people to Ganymede because I’ve been very protective of it, but… there are knights now who go there, and I like to think they’re protective of it, too.”

Kaifeng, Squire of SaturnBefore Helene could help get him off the ground, Kaifeng heard something rustle again. He paused, looking around and listening closely for more sounds. He was even afraid to breathe too loudly, for fear of startling the poor jackalope—but then!
A twig snapped. The bushes rustled with more intensity this time. And a little jackalope with a ribbon around its neck took off like a shot, scampering away.
“Oh,” Kaifeng huffed. “There he goes.… So close.”

Reims, Page of GanymedeFor a few blissful moments, the jackalope was completely forgotten, and Reims was content with relief he could practically feel radiating from Dering.
He didn’t know exactly what he’d done to help Dering relax a little, but it was something about the way his expression seemed softer and his posture seemed less guarded. Reims really didn’t think he’d done anything special, but then again, he was also relieved that Dering was willing to spend some time talking to him. Especially when there were so many other brightly colored unicorn knights running around and confusing Dering for someone else.
“What?” he laughed softly and shook his head. “That doesn’t sound silly at all. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was magic. I was just thinking the same thing. I bet it’s jumping from place to place, always out of reach. It’s okay, I’ve got a lot to learn too. Earth is hard enough. Now I have to learn about things in space. Hey, if you ever get too hot this summer, you can always hang out at my Wonder to cool off. I mean… I think the seasons are flipped.”
Was that weird to offer?
“Where’s your hat? You took it off?” he seemed to just notice, despite having definitely heard Dering say he was going to. He was probably distracted by the jackalope and didn’t comment before.

Sailor Chibi EuphemeEupheme could tell that her mom was trying to be careful with her words. She’d even said that she didn’t want to tell her too much, and while Eupheme pouted at that, she eventually nodded.
“Okay, then I’ll just get stronger so I can bring you both and Henry, too,” she nodded decisively. The jackalope had almost been completely forgotten, but Eupheme was just happy to have a chance to talk to her mom about these things that were important. Maybe Eupheme wasn’t sure how important yet, but she was sure she would eventually.
“Can, um… can I give you a hug?” she asked after a moment. She knew she was supposed to be keeping their relationship secret! But her mom looked like she might need a hug and it was hard for Eupheme to not just wrap her arms around her.

Super Sailor SurturSurtur kept quiet as Ymir turned to speak to what he could only assume was the jackalope. He smiled softly and made sure to keep still lest he break any twigs beneath his feet.
If it were up to him, he would have coaxed the jackalope to Ymir, who was definitely better with small creatures and children than he liked to give himself credit for.
He didn’t see it, but that was okay. As long as Ymir had a moment of peace, that was all that mattered to him at the moment.

Belmont, Squire of Jupiter
“Yeah?” Belmont asked, and pondered the situation for the briefest of seconds before he nodded. “I’d like that. There are a few Jupiter Knights I’ve bumped into more often than not, but I think I bump into Connie around the city more than anyone else. This might be the most people I’ve seen in one place in a long time. Well–except for that bank. “Unless there are a lot that have been attacked recently, I think I was there for that one. I’m glad no one was seriously hurt.” At least, insofar as he knew. He hadn’t read about anything on the news but he hadn’t wanted to seem overly invested in it, either.
“We should plan to meet up more often. I’ve been fixing up my Wonder some, maybe you can come visit sometime. And you’re more than welcome too, Perdita.”
Though he didn’t know her, she’d expressed having a hard time reaching out to people so he didn’t mind extending the invitation himself. The more the merrier anyway, right? He was proud of his Wonder, even if it was still very much a work in progress. It was less dilapidated now than it had been when he’d first found it, at least.

Dering, Squire of Lysithea
Though Dering had placed his hat in subspace, he still reached up to feel for it. “Oh–right, yeah. It just felt really heavy for some reason! And there’s so much shade here, I didn’t think I needed it. Is my hair a mess?”
Reims hadn’t said as much, but Dering quickly patted his head and smoothed down whatever hair he could anyway.
“Is your Wonder warm right now? It’s been a little dreary in Destiny City. Um. Not that you need to invite me or anything, I was just thinking that I can’t wait for spring! My Wonder is all foggy right now. I’ve hardly spent any time there, but it’s really hard to find anything. It’s a really neat forest, but it feels a little spooky. I think it’s probably just because I’m almost always up there alone. And my mind plays tricks on me.” The fact that he didn’t know what else could be up there probably didn’t help. “I could take you up there sometime, too. If you wanted. I don’t know if it’s interesting or what the weather will be like, I’ve seen other Lysithea Wonders and they seem like they’ve got a lot more going on!”
He was so distracted by talking that he almost didn’t see the jackalope that scurried past them, but when he realized what he was looking at, he pointed and gestured for Reims to join him as he followed after it at a leisurely pace.

Beira, Super Senshi of Loneliness
A smile danced across his face. “Partners,” he confirmed.
Beira had a calm air about him, and carried himself very professionally. He seemed to enjoy and appreciate nature, but it certainly wasn’t the type of place he thought he could thrive. A walk through the woods, fine. Living off the land? Not so much.
He carefully scooped Illyria up and held her so she could have as good of a view as he did.
“Is there a prize? You can have all of it. I’m here to meet people and figure out what I can improve on. Hunting and tracking has suddenly risen very high on the list. I don’t even think my magic could do much to help if this were a serious mission. It must be rather elusive, I wonder if Cybele trained it to be so evasive or if this is just how they all are. I could have sworn I saw a few taking it easy in the bushes I was passing, they didn’t seem frightened at all.”
Of course, he was moving quickly. For all he knew they’d just been normal rabbits, or a very unique root system.

Knight Tanais of MarsShe'd followed the rest out into the woods with an eager step, but it fast became apparent that... well, she was really more of a city girl at heart. Tanais of the past had been a city and in present day, she had no memories of any time she'd actually been camping, or anything that passed for it. Used to buildings and sidewalks, the wilderness spread out before them soon became a tangled maze she was at a loss to figure out.
In the distance, Tanais could hear people talking, shouting and rushing about as they searched for one little horned rabbit in all the foliage. What if the thing had gone into a burrow or something? That's what rabbits lived in, right? She hadn't the first clue how to track it, and with everyone else out there frantically looking, it was very quickly apparent that This Was Not Her Event.
The knight sighed as she paused to lean against a tree, hands on her hips, to catch her breath. Red eyes swept over the surrounding foliage, but there was nothing she could pick out that even remotely suggest that damn jackalope was anywhere near here.
"Maybe I should have just stuck to the other stuff..." She grumbled, frowning up at the leaves overhead.

Tjilkai She was starting to think if maybe she shouldnt rush to find the jackalope and take her time. The other competitors were having no luck in finding the jackalope either. But Tjilaki's instincts urged her to press on, a primal energy guiding her every move. She couldn't afford to hesitate now, not when victory was so close within reach. With a silent prayer to the forest spirits for guidance, she forged ahead, her every sense attuned to the slightest disturbance in the air.
