XXXYui paid no attention to the faunus, she didn't matter anymore. Orders, news, it didn't matter when the operation was in the midst of falling apart. This feeling, it was toxic. It bubbled deep inside her, felt as if it was rotting through her very core. It wasn't that it was hard to take in, it was that it was impossible to accept. There were so many variables, so many scenarios that could stem from this. The Commander continued to press the point that surviving that collapse was nearly impossible, but... That was just it. NEARLY. She was living proof of that! The entirety of her team, as well as Nightshade, proved that very point! .. She could feel her stomach tighten in a series of knots as if a scout was using her insides to practice. She had never been squeamish. Normally she could take news like this at face value with no issue, but why did it bother her now? Was it because she so clearly attested against it? That her belief they were alive down there made the thought that proved otherwise made her sick? Her passion burned so violently, it was ready to burn her alive. Any thought otherwise was like turning on a faucet. Her frustration just kept swelling like a tsunami, feeling as if he just wasn't listening. She understood that. They weren't capable of helping. Whether it was the preparation, or just truly out of her power. That's why she was here, that's why she survived... But he wouldn't let her. She couldn't fight back, she couldn't protest, she couldn't utter a word. She had become tongue-tied because she knew.. It was over. He was done with her.

She wouldn't say goodbye, she wouldn't thank him for his time. She couldn't, and it didn't matter now. Even if she could manage to work past her emotions, even if she could muster the words she was dying to speak. It meant nothing if the person in charge wasn't willing to cooperate. She understood the purpose behind it all, but that didn't mean she believed or agreed with it. Their hands were tied, she understood that, but... It was bitter. It weighed heavy on her heart, it burned deep in the confines of her soul. It was wrong to leave them like this, it was wrong to sit here and do nothing. Her fist clenched tighter and tighter, veins hidden by her gloves protruding. Her very being was radiating in frustration, in anger. Every word the commander spoke made that frustration burn brighter, a sense of defiance grow stronger. At the very least she could do something, even when the others couldn't. She was offering herself up, presenting herself on a plater. If her upbringing hadn't proved her capability yet, then surely her actions on the mission had. Yet it wasn't enough, and all she could do was stand there in agonizing silence. Her cheeks were hot, her eyes bothered. She could feel distinct wetness in her eyes, as if on the verge of tears. Of sorrow? Or frustration? Perhaps even humiliation for being put in her place, almost like a child. It was all foreign to her, these medley of violent emotions that she utterly despised. Not only had her request been denied, but formally rejected with an order that she just couldn't follow. What should she do? What would the consequences of disobeying a direct order from a Commanding Officer? What would her mother think? How would that reflect on her record at the academy? ... But, could she really just oblige? Go sit in the medical tent, and wait? She was hurt, she was burned, she was exhausted. ... But they... They could be far worse, they could need her... Anyone.

All she could do was stand there in silence as if time itself stopped, the weight of the situation bearing down on her shoulders as if she as a titan who bore the world. There was a decision that someone made for her, but were her hands truly tied? That one moment seemed like an eternity. The operations of the camp around her had dulled to nothing more than a distant echo, reality itself feeling so distant from the world's grasp. She felt isolated, alone, back into a corner. Only moments ago had she been brimming with confidence about aiding her team in success. Now, it was as if it never happened. It felt as if every failure in her life had caught up to her in a single instance, that she was drowning. She couldn't hear the dulled footsteps, but blue hues would notice a shadow beyond the water that clung to her eyelids. Someone was coming in, surely to escort her to the medical tent. She had no intention of meeting their gaze or even acknowledging their presence. That was until, however, she met the yellowed gaze of a man she both knew of and respected. It was Aurtrox, the head of the academy himself. "Headmaster..." She whispered softly, having lost her nerve after the prior interaction with the Commander. Every interaction with the man had been kept brief, be it in the company of her mother, or in passing on academy grounds. She had never seen such a look of otherness on his face, one that matched the somber expression of the commander. With him, though, it seemed more personal. More sincere. That was until his lips curled into a smirk, but how could he at a time like this? Blue hues watched his hand, almost as if confused, before taking a step forward. .. She was reluctant at first, her steps slow before she took his gesture as an invitation and accepted his embrace. It hurt. Not just physically, but emotionally, and she didn't know how to control it. It wasn't as intense as when Kail first broke down her wall, but it was a connection all the same. He felt what she was feeling. Or at the very least, he understood. Why had the staff at the academy always been the ones to bear her emotional burden? Was it truly acceptable to need this kind of support? She closed her eyes, trying her best to take a deep breath, to calm down. "We survived. Isn't that proof enough?' She whispered, practically muffled against him. She was hung up on that very fact. Apparently, so was he. She opened her eyes once more in response to his whisper, a gaze that wondered... What was he getting at?

Her body would move, feeling guided by his grip on her shoulders. It wasn't like she had a choice, it was still exceptionally tender from not only the ravagers, but her very flames. Her gaze, soft and blue, would look forward for understanding, for clarity. There was a sense of upbringing in his tones, something that was meant to inspire, but still held a certain softness. It was about the students, how he felt, and how it connected with her own thoughts. That if there was at all a chance, they had to take it. A connection that she tried to pull from the Commander, but he wasn't willing to risk it. Aurtrox, on the other hand, talked as if he was suggesting it. His grip was firm, asserting his point. His words were passionate, filling the defeated girl with a newfound sense of determination. It didn't have to end here. She knew that already. His grip had left her shoulders, though the weight of their presence still burned as if a reminder. ".. I knew the moment that Adao made his order." Consequences didn't matter at this point, not if it meant she could even save one life. That meant more than anything else. Other students may not have understood the weight of the task on Aurtrox shoulders, but Yui didn't need to think twice. She was raised in a government household, potentially under the strictest regulation. She knew where hands were tied and where others could act. She... Wasn't at that limitation yet. "Thank you, headmaster." A courtesy that could almost be mistaken by any onlookers for him holding the 'door' open for her. But surely he'd know what she met. For his words, for his support. She needed it now more than ever. Calmly, she followed close behind Aurtrox, stepping through the tent that he held open. Her gaze followed the number of soldiers that were pacing around, one on occasion giving a glance towards two of the most prominent faunus in the area; the wings were a giveaway. She'd follow his direction, her gaze honing in on the cavern. 'Dove.. Have you been talking to Garret?" She asked quietly, her eyes darting back towards her headmaster with the smallest smile on her lips. It was a nice reminder of the Lancer, who still owed her a duel. .. That was just another reason that she couldn't die in these caverns. Her gaze averted again, nodding. "Let my team know I'll be back soon, with the others. I will bring them back." Her words were filled with determination as she took a step forward, a breeze rustling her feathers gently.

She wouldn't waste time, either. Her steps were quick, navigating through the soldiers as carefully as she could. It was clear to anyone watching her closely she was moving with a destination in mind. Like the swiftness of wind, her course was focused on the cavern. That's when a faunus soldier took notice, picking her out clearly because of her white wings. They were distant, but they called out to her. "Lioncourt, you have orders to report--" Now that she had been acknowledged, she couldn't wait any longer. The woman broke out into a sprint, directly beelining towards the cavern as she prepared to stretch her wings. "LIONCOURT! STOP AT ONCE!" That soldier wasn't the only one to notice the white-winged faunus making a break for it. A handful of other guards tried to shout at her, to divert her off her path. One of the guards at the mouth of the cave even made a break directly towards her, attempting to use their size to deter her. The moment the man went to grab her, though, Yui took a leap of faith. With her wings stretched wide, she'd flap her wings once with all her strength. Timed perfectly with a gust of wind, it gave her a hefty boost to not just leap over the man, but soar. With the wind running through her feathers, Yui would use the gained momentum to glide directly into the cavern entrance. She'd then narrow her wings, pointing herself directly down into the cavern into an impressive dive. Just moments before she reached the cavern floor, she'd stretch her wings out once more and flap, using her guiding wind to soar into the cavern once again. She couldn't waste any more time, the military had already done plenty of that. She was going to find them. She would look for the collapse sight, then.. A cliff.

Reikka craned her neck up to look at Auburn as she declared that they should report Prince. For a few moments she stared at her as she could hear their heavy breathes and pants from all sides, the sounds echoing off the walls. Her look was neither angry nor sad, merely neutral and serious. Then with a c**k of her head she started laughing. The absurdity and insanity level of the situation had just dawned on her. Even after all this time, even after they were mere inches away from death, and even when Auburn's arms were practically going to fall off, she still had come to the point of serving proper justice to that lame spider boy. She laughed harder, letting her exclamations of glee drown the sounds coming from the hole they all just crawled out from. Finally, after completely ignoring their reactions to her outburst of emotion, she straightened up and stood up, grabbed her emergency bag, then took her scarf from her neck and then used it as a outer harness for the slings for her arms. She didn't want her wounds to get cold and contract an infection. After arranging the series of slings, she pulled out a long bandage roll and wrapped her arms with them. She had coated these bandages with her special formula, which would feel cool, wet and slimy to the touch. After some gentle arrangement, Auburn would have bandages wrapped around her arms in a sling with her scarf on the outside in a cross-armed position. It would have been easier if it had just been one arm, but with both of her arms out of commission, she wouldn't be able to do much from now on for a good long while.

With a morbid expression on her face once she was done, she can only pray Auburn would be strong enough to bear the pain once the numbness runs out. She had absolved to make more of her special concoctions later on if she needed something to further put off the pain and keep the bruises underneath from breaking through the skin. With the arms wrapped in the ectoplasmic goo, she should feel a slight burning sensation wherever the stuff touched anything that wasn't exposed to the open air. But the pain would be doubled if there was no goo, so she would have to bear with the slight inconvenience over writhing in pain later on. She walked over to Fran to check if she was okay. She had slight gashes on her legs and her fingers were slightly purple from handling so much rope work in such a small amount of time, but other than that she seemed merely shaken in spirits rather than scarred for life. She handed her a small hard, white plastic container filled with the same stuff that she used on Auburn's arms and said, "Use this as needed. Don't eat it." Then with that and a smile, she turned her attention to Nox and Dee. She checked them all over. They were still unconscious, but she could see they were on the mend. She wasn't sure if Dee would bleed out, but it seems the stump has stopped pouring his precious blood onto the stone floor for now. She placed a single strip of smothered bandage around Dee's arm and left a small patch on Nox's struck wound on her head.

After which, Reikka volunteered to move them all away from the sound of snarling wolves below, who have by now realized they fully missed their query, and were now pacing the cavern below with impending anger. Auburn's arms weren't going to work, and Fran was a frail girl with constricted fingertips. Reikka would have to haul them out of here for now on her own. She intended to take double responsibility for everything, even willing to take the burden onto her own shoulders. She didn't intend to forsake anyone here. They needed a way to drag them forwards until they regained consciousness. "Hmm, any ideas on what to use as a tarp so we can drag them onwards?" She said, coming up with the idea after remembering how her parents carried her around their home on a mattress like a wheel-less wagon. They simply had no way to move them whichever the case. She took out her flashlight and shined it on the hole leading upwards and out of the stone tube they were in. There didn't seem to be anything there. She could hear the far-off drip-drip of water somewhere. Prince was nowhere to be seen nearby. She thought about what Auburn said about reporting Prince. She didn't seem like she wanted to talk about it right now, but she was seriously considering it. Who in their right mind would leave others to die? Such a childish and irresponsible thing to do. Of course, it wasn't her place to judge him. But, they would have to tell the truth eventually, anyway.

Immediately as they got pulled up, a sigh of relief would escape not only Fran's mouth but entire body. As the adrenaline from being swallowed by a grimm and making a narrow escape from the brink of death, Fran's body would start to succumb to the tiredness, although she was quite used to it. Her father always had a sadistic stride, tying her up and beating her to near death so it didn't really scared her, and heck, she was even prepared to die just to kill that huge Grimm. But luckily, or maybe unfortunately, that time has not come yet and she still breathes. Heavily and labored, her body trying to catch up to the speed of her heartbeat so it can regulate itself. It was then that Auburn would tell of them the price she had to pay to save us back there, and the desire to report Prince sudden fight or flight moment.

What did she think of Prince leaving them to save himself from the predicament? Nothing really, a normal person has the right to live and he just reserved that right. Although his help in preserving other's lives would be appreciated as well. All in all too much had just happened recently for Fran to just make a clear decision there and then. And there and then was when the white haired beauty start chuckling and laughing. Fran wouldn't join in the laugh, but she's smile at her. Frankly, her abdominal muscles hurts too much to give out a laugh. Still, she appreciated the beauty with a rather grim humor, or maybe it's acceptance? Or maybe even hope, either way, a laughing and smiling beauty is always a precious sight to see. Reikka would stop laughing and take account of the situation, beginning to apply ointment and first aid on herself and the others, giving Fran a bottle herself. While Fran doesn't have any major injuries, her Aura has surely been depleted and is still very slowly recovering, so Fran would like to avoid battles from now on. She would apply the ointment and the wounds that she has, letting that stinging soothing feeling take over her sense of touch slowly.

Reikka would ask those who are awake for methods to transport those who are incapacitated, seeing as the one with the greatest measure of strength in the group is now incapable. "We could use the rope to make a net like structure... It wouldn't be pleasant for the once they wake up though", Fran would answer. Fran would check the lengths of the rope and the contents of the bags they were given if there were any other possibilities, although the chances are extremely slim.

==== ☠ ======== ☠ ====ßℓąιя ☠ ωιgнт==== ☠ ======== ☠ ====

It seemed that they weren’t there for the same thing, nor did it appear that Apex was going to interfere. No need for the extra trouble if it wasn’t worth it. With somewhat of an agreement between both parties, Hades and Blair quickly gathered the items The Voice had directed them to acquire. Noises could be heard down the cave. The students had made it out. This was a sign for them to dip. Tapping Hades, Blair gave him a look to question if it was indeed best for them to go. With his semblance he could see how close people were, and sure enough, it was going to be dangerous if they stayed any longer. Without a word Blair left not caring for what Apex was doing, wither she had made it out or if she were going to get caught. It honestly wasn’t her problem. The only thing she wanted to do was get out of there safely. Despite her partners outer actions, he was in no state to fight a group of hunters and huntresses.

In silence the two criminals made their way to exit the cave, they however did not back track. No, they came across a small tunnel that lead out to the surface, and with that they were gone, leaving little to no trace they were ever there… except for the missing items of course. Blair hoped that Apex would take the fall for that, she liked working in the shadows. If no one knew who you were, it made getting away with things a lot easier.

Although part of their silence was to sneak away without any detection, Blair had another motive to be quiet… she was upset with Hades… and the mission. Perhaps he would feel the harshness of her silence… or perhaps he wouldn’t, after all, he was in a certain “state” of mind.

Before heading to her place of residence, her “base” in a way, they dropped of the items they had taken from the cave at the drop point The Voice had instructed when first receiving the mission. Also as instructed they left right away. It was no longer up to them. All they needed to do was wait and see if their bank account got the rest of the funds.

  • If Hades knew Blair's thoughts, he would have protested only one part. He was sure even drunk, he could handle a fight with the little brats. Unfortunately, that wouldn't get to be tested. They needed to leave and as much as he would of loved to glamor more over Apex's beauty in order piss off Blair more, there were more important things that needed to be done. Her look was all he needed. His semblance wasn't at 100 percent, but it told enough of the story to see where this was going. Their cover was too important. While curious about this relic she was searching for, that was Apex's hunt, not theirs. Hades would quickly slip away with Blair, not caring about the kid who just plopped close to their proximity. It had nothing to do with him and he seemed like he just piss his pants if confronted.

The walk back wasn't anything special. Blair was unusually quiet, but he couldn't figure out exactly what was the reasoning for that. He didn't ask either. He just let the silence be the tension between the two as they escaped and dropped off the packages. If they did their job correctly they would get paid. If not, then...that sucks. More issues to the crapy situation. Either way, he was just glad it was over. It was an okay mission but it was definitely not the funniest. Now he can rest and move no to something more....difficult. Handling a rabbit faunus. (Exit)

___ Nox wasn't aware of anything that had happened while she was out. She hadn't even felt it coming when she passed out again down below. She definitely had a concussion. It had pulled her right over the edge. A sleepiness that took her without warning, but it was clearing. The fog of deep, undreaming sleep was pulling back. As her mind began to wake up the details from before she fainted started to return, and they came back with a clarity she didn't have when she first woke after the stone struck her. Auburn's comment about someone laughing. The red dust she say filling the air and the explosion that caused the cave in. Her mind was racing as it all became clear to her as if the pieces were assembling themselves for her. She was fully alert and all she needed to wake up was a little external stimuli. That stimuli came from Reikka when she came over to tend to Nox's head wound.

___ The very instant Reikka placed the patch on her head Nox's eyes opened. The vertical pupils narrowing to bring the world into focus as she sat up, just narrowly missing knocking her head against Reikka's as she does. To Nox there was no missing time and thinking she was still down below she was already acting on the new information she has thanks to her thoughts no longer being clouded. "Ambush..." She stated urgently. The word quickly followed by the powerful, visible pulse of vibrant need aura that washes over everyone. Reikka would recognize what she was seeing and feeling as Nox's semblance being activated. And it was very much activated as a series of cracks could be heard as one by one half of the dust vials Nox wear crack in response to her control over the dust within them.

___ Nox hesitates and blinks as if taking a double take at the edge of the cliff near by. Her head turns to look at Reikka then she quickly takes in the others. It took a moment for her to figure out they were at the top of the cliff. Once she figured that out it was clear that there was a hole in her memory. The injuries everyone has speak volumes about that fact in particular. Nox sighs softly and her shoulder slup. A small nagging feeling of guilt weighing them down. The others had needed her. There was an Ambush and she missed out on it. Was dead weight probably. Nox let her semblance go and pulled her aura fully back to herself. "What happened? Where are the others?" She asked, mostly towards Reikka. Since she had passed out before they had figured out who all was still present after the cave in she had now way to tell if they had lost anyone in combat without getting a report. Nox got to her feet while listening to the first answers. Checking herself over quickly by stretching her muscles to make sure nothing caused pain. She seemed fine and didn't feel so much as the twing of a new bruise forming really during her stretches. She'd have to thank Auburn. The girl had collected her after the rock hit her and she figured she most likely had done so again when she passed out. That would have to wait though. Nox focused on Reikka and lowered her voice after stepping in close for a team leader private chat, "Given the state of things how should we proceed from here? You all for the most part look as bad or worse than my head felt half an hour or so ago when the ceiling hit it. The mission objective could still be far away or just around the corner. We are here already so it doesn't hurt to look around the immediate area, but if it is still a ways a way then in your honest assessment would you say we should keep going?"

Reikka was just searching in her bag when she noticed someone stirring from the pile of unconscious bodies where Nox and Dee were lying down respectively. She turned her head just in time to witness Nox open her eyes again, and a huge relief along with a sudden feeling of weeping washed over her, but she quickly swallowed the urge and wiped the single tear that escaped her tear ducts. "Nox... you're awake." She said as she approached her with a face that was trying to hide how happy she was to see her alive. "You and Dee got messed up pretty badly." She began with her explanation when Nox seemed to finally gather her wits and remembered the ambush and the cave in, "We all got out okay, at least with this group. But Auburn's arms are practically non-existent right now, and you've got Fran to thank for thinking about saving you two at a very critical moment while I was distracting the Grimm." She looked around and flipped a pointing thumb in their direction ever so casually, the look on the faces of Fran and Auburn was unreadable as they gazed upon Nox's newly awakened form. Reikka felt like she was going to cry at the sight of them being all still alive.

She knelled next to Nox, who still seemed dizzy from her long, unexpected nap. "Given the state of things how should we proceed from here? You all for the most part look as bad or worse than my head felt half an hour or so ago when the ceiling hit it. The mission objective could still be far away or just around the corner. We are here already so it doesn't hurt to look around the immediate area, but if it is still a ways a way then in your honest assessment would you say we should keep going?" She heard Nox said, which prompted Reikka to think about their options for the moment. So with a quizzical look on her face and the contemplating position of her hand on her chin, Reikka finally replied with a look of determination, "We should stick together from now on, we can't afford to lose anyone anymore. No scouting missions. And I don't know if you've noticed Nox, but it seems that moving forward is our only chance. We HAVE to keep going." And with that she stood up and took out a large blanket from her bag, just large enough to carry a single person. "Also, you're lucky that you woke up when you did. We were going to drag you and Dee with rope as tarp." She had a honest, bashful expression on her face as she began moving Dee onto the thick blanket.

Auburn wasn't quite sure how to take the sudden outburst of laughter from Reikka. Had she lost it? She seemed to return to normal after a moment and brought up moving the others. Fran was the first to offer an idea of how to move them, but then, Nox came to. Finally. Auburn simply sat there, letting Nox catch back up. Head trauma was nothing new to her and she knew it'd take a few minutes for everything to process. "The rest fell into a hole that opened up in the ground. But, I could hear gunfire below, so, the fall didn't kill them. As for Prince, he opened fire on me right after and almost hit you and Reikka. He then ran away, leaving Fran for dead as well as the rest of us. And Reikka is right. Unless you can heal and wake everyone here and make them able to hold their own against someone like me in a few minutes, we only have one option. In our current state, a horde of grimm would tear us apart. As for moving others Reikka, now Nox is awake, we only have two to worry about. That idiot kid who just ran in here, he should be small enough for anyone to manage, and Dee. Dee...I don't really see any of us managing him on our own. If someone else carried his and my equipment, I might be able to handle his weight myself if you lashed him to my back."

As Fran was preparing the materials to bring along the rest of the party, Nox came to, with a tiny bit of recollection of what happened. I guess that rock really hit her well, but seeing as she's not convulsing or vomiting after, it might just be a good shock to the head that knocked her out. This is great because even at 70% capacity she would be a really great addition to our fighting force. She then promptly suggest another scouting mission, and ask how are conditions and what are plans would be. Staying here and letting the negative emotions swirl would be a bad idea, since we're already surrounded with Grimm. "Let's keep moving then! If Reikka could help me get Dee on Auburn I'll secure him so he won't fall. Might be a tiny bit uncomfortable for you though, Auburn, that rope can dig in the wrong places".

Fran would get the ropes that she already prepared and create a couple of knots to hold Dee in place. Her time doing roof paintings and learning harnesses and scaffolding really helped her, and the team out. She might not be the best physical specimen, but she's just glad to be contributing whatever skills she has.

Tired, beaten and bruised, Dee lies there the pain that's flowing through his body the only thing keeping him awake at this moment. Loud ringing in his ears drowning out the rest of the group talking. his hand tightly gripped on his arm doing what he can to hold it together as the nerves reconnect. If he could he would be screaming from the pain, but now there was no point in adding the pain of trying to speak to the truckload pressing down on him at the moment. Counting back from 1000 Dee tires to keep his mind off the pain as best he can. 1000...999..998.. Dee's eyes slowly glaze over as they begin to zip around the cave. The wall melting away letting cracks of sunlight rain into the dark cavern, the hard rocky floor breaks as grass and foliage grow through until he was lying in an open field, a large tree overhead providing shade for him. The pain he felt suddenly disappearing. Surrounded by the faces of people long dead and gone, speaking in a long-forgotten language Telling him to Sleep. Dee's eyes refusing to close. The world around him breaking once again plunging him back into the darkness as he was pressed over to the tarp. Wondering why Wisp was trying to push him over onto a blanket. And then the pain rushed back to him.

It seemed that he would be ignored which was good. He wasn't sure what was going on but it seemed that there was going to be some kind of exit. He would see as the two cloaked individuals would head off away from the security area and go down a different path. That meant that there was an exit. A way out. A way that was different from the normal calculated route. He still needed to stay away from that other person. Apex. Maybe he just got lucky or maybe she saw him and just didn't care. Either way, he would recover quickly before trying to stick to the shadows and use the darkness to his advantage. If only there was a way to get to the security room without having to deal with Apex. Sneaking by was a risk. If only there was a window or something. He had searched around for anything. Maybe an opening at the top?

— So here he was, probably in a coma, could see nothing but the dream of Kamui on repeat, as he has the entire time he spent with his older brother. This was all he had to see every time. Funny enough, it felt like those were the only fun times in his life despite how much struggle they both had to endure. Still, he wpuld give anything to experience those days again. And all that came to a stop, as Sky's light finally returned to his eyes. Well, the lack of light. Kamui!! Huh? Sky shot up. His eyes were really fuzzy as if the room was spinning. His head was definitely pounding like crazy. Oh god... what the hell happened? Was all Sky would manage to ask. Did Auburn and Rei actually get him out? And what of Apex? Her being here would make him seethe with anger.—

『Into ƚhҽ Đαɾƙnҽss – Phase One: C』

[Quick reminder: you can control these beowolves, just don't dust/kill them, I will decide which ones die and which ones live, so each beowolf will have a mixture of me controlling them and you controlling them for this mission. Feel free to message me on discord if you want to dust one and I can approve it through message. If you do not want to control them at all that is fine too, no worries! If I put something in brackets it means you cannot change it though.]

Prince & Apex ▬ Prince was all by himself still. He would hear the shuffling steps fade as the dynamic duo dipped. Leaving Apex as the lone X factor. The gentle drops of water echoed as they hit the ground. The fog wasn't as thick up here. making sneaking more difficult. He would see several boulders to sneak behind that would lead him straight to the exit that the duo had just used. He could fairly easily get there without being seen by the redheaded fireball. That said, there was also a broken window into the building, but it was directly to Apex's right, only about 20 feet away from her. He would risk being seen if he decided to attempt it, but there was a slight chance of success. The choice would be his.

Apex would now be greeted with the sweetest silence as Blair and Hades made their leave. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to her, yet. The vault was massive, but the little building she was nearby was quaint. A single elongated window that was shattered, and a door hanging open. She could hear the strange beeping noises coming from inside if she strained herself. Otherwise the cavern was eerily quiet.

Everybody Else)) ▬ The fog rolled lazily over the cliff's edge as the discussed what had all just happened. The cavern had became relatively quiet. There were certainly no more sounds up ahead, and below? The grumbles of a horde of beowolves of all sizes and ages became a monotonous roar much like the wind. But then, a few rocks tumbled off the edge. Everyone could hear the rocks bouncing off the edges until they hit the ground and crumbled into pieces. At first the cavern became truly silent... the only sound was their breathing, and the hollow cavern wind... "RWWUUUAGHHHHH!!!" A massively loud roar started from below. A massive beowolf below. Twice the size of the largest ones they had seen below rose from the shadows. It bolted at the wall and rammed into it. The ground quaked furiously as boulders and large chunks of the cliff started to crack off and fall below. A huge crack jutted between the group. The creature would bellow again, and then get some distance before charging once more. A massive chunk of the cliff would crack off. Causing the students to be on the actual edge now. Below all of the rubble started to form a sort of ramp that hundreds of beowolves started rushing towards. Clawing at the endges they started to climb on top of each other. The large beowolve's eyes glowed a hollow red. It was huge, yet its eyes spoke of a soulless entity. It would slowly move forward now. It would easily scale the cliff now if it made it there.

Theme Song: Life Will Change

Food steps would fade away. The distant sound fading gave Prince an idea. There was an exit nearby or another path. In fact, their exit confirms it. However, the X factor in his way was Apex and his own curiosity and fear. The enemy exited through that path, was there more. Prince was not the one that is able to take on a group and his semblance wasn't built for it either. He couldn't just stay here because he didn't know if the group was even alive. He just had to figure this out as if he was the only person surviving. So what was he going to do? Survive. In order to survive, risks had to be made correct? Time to start a show. Hopefully, he didn't get stage freight now. Looking around, he noticed there were boulders for cover and not only that, but there were smaller chunks of walks there also and even some boulders that would be more like the size of basketballs. Not really rocks but not big enough to hide behind either. At least this alone time was doing him some good. The Brightside, I at least away from that crazy chick that was trying to kill me. The downside, I'm by a crazy chick that may try kill me if I get in her way.

Usien, gave up. Wait for what? Why didn't he try to book it? Or try go through the broken window? Instead of trying either, he would just get up and walk out in the opening. Sure, Apex could see him but he scouted the area and given the surroundings and the terrain he came up with a sad conclusion. He would be found out either way. Going to try to move boulder to boulder, as quiet as the cave was around them, his footsteps would make too much noise. Even his spider limbs climbing would cause too much noise for anyone with experience not to notice. Downing a few pills of caffeine, he would hope they would do something but he knew he probably was at his limit so this was going to be all-natural. Walking towards the security door, he was approaching Apex? Dad always said to fake it till I can make it if need be. If I talk I easily give away that I am scared shitless. If she can't already see it in my steps. If I keep silent and stay confident, I probably can get out of here. If I can get confirmation no one is near that exit I can make a break for it or just walk out. After all, I doubt I am of any concern to her.....Still....A person like her can't gain more power...... His thoughts would place as he grew closer and closer. Noticing the security building made him connect a dot. What was behind that vault? If she wanted it, then it couldn't be anything good. He would stop his approach.

He couldn't just leave. He could forsake those who tried to kill him. That wasn't the issue. If he just left, then there be no resistance. What if there was a bomb behind the vault? Anything that can cause more pain and destruction. He couldn't let it out of reach so easily. His personality was getting in the way. Putting others ahead of himself. Putting the lives of the innocent that could be affected over his own, he would make his stand now. Trying to stand strong, his hands was trembling. His heart beating in syncopated eight notes to the downbeat of the water drops crashing against the ground. Keeping to his philosophy, no words were uttered. He was just a lamb now in the way of a crazed sheep. They say team leaders were chosen for a reason. Sometimes that reason isn't seen at first. Shy leaders. Silent Leaders. Leaders who prefer solitude. They seem incapable at first, but it's what's underneath the surface that makes them the leader is chosen over someone more extroverted, aggressive, or even skilled. Of course, this is just a matter of opinion. Autrox has been wrong before. Right?

XXXHow long had it been since she dived into the cavern a second time? Where before she and the others were treading carefully, investigating every nook and cranny, this time was different. This time her pale blue hues were burning with determination as if the same azure flames of her semblance were brimming from her white lashes. With the grace of the headmaster, she sought to bring home the remaining students from whatever terrible fate they had uncovered within these cavern walls. There was no time to rest, no time to wait. Any semblance of a second wind she had gotten was dedicated to getting her from point A to point B in the quickest fashion. The chilled air felt like razors against her skin, bringing icy tears to her determined gaze. It burned, just as the remnants of her cauterized wounds from her last 'bout. Fortunately, she had given herself just enough rest to mend herself with aura, though the scars would likely stay with her for weeks to come. If not, then as a forever memory of her first large scale operation. For the longest time, it had all looked familiar. She took to the larger cave just as Alpha was meant to, she followed the same crags that had led her this far before. Just like before, she was sky-bound. Where before she was scouting ahead to determine the dangers for those behind her, she was now seeking out any sign of life or danger that could tell her what happened. The entirety of her flight was eerie silent, only causing the situation to weigh heavier on her soul. That could have taken her to the truth if they made it or not.

After a long flight, ivory lashes would widen at the obscure change of scenery. What was once an earthen pass of jagged stone had become a quarry of collapsed stone, making a pathway of rubble that acted as the first sign of the cave in. Amidst this cracked earth and piles of shattered stone were splatters of blood, claw marks and footsteps. She remembered this vividly, this was where it all went wrong. Even now, the fog continued to roll in from the far off cliff. It all looked so different. Distorted and collapse, it was as if the cavern had changed in its entirety. A wall that once blocked their path, now a hole that led to a far off cliff. Blood had begun to dry, but the sound of scratching claws was apparent in the distance. The avian had begun lowering herself to get a better look at the damage, boots clicking with a thud that would echo in the empty cavern. The splatters of blood and the smog of Grimm dust that lingered in the air. It made it hard to breathe, while the sight of bloodshed to such an intensity had caused her intestines to knot. This was where they were separated, and this was where the Commander's search ended. 'There's no sign of them... No bodies, no weapons or bags... They had to have gone further, but how far?' The only indicator forward were footprints imprinted in the blood. With them, however, were the clawed paws of something that was in pursuit of them. Claw marks that were distinct to any huntress. 'It was beowolves... Hold on just a little longer, I'm coming.' No sooner than when she went to kick off the ground, however, a set of eerie red eyes appeared in the darkness. From it was a deep, threatening growl resonating in its throat. It snarled at her, lunging with its claws ready to cleave the huntress in two. She was faster, though. Be it due to her faunus sight or quick wit, she'd throw her body back, propelling herself an extra burst with a flap of her wings. Flexing her middle finger, blue embers would erupt from the ring in a vibrant flash, dancing until each ember wove together in order to create a replicate of Lancer's weapon, Crimson Regret. Wrapping her fingers around the burning weapon, she'd land on the ground once more in a kneel, before kicking off and thrusting the burning spear through the Beowolf's chest. In an instance, blue cracks would spread through it, fading to red, before scattering to dust in the wind. That was far from the end, however, as another low growl emitted to her left, then right. Several sets of red eyes became vivid in the darkness, her eyes adjusting to see the black mass of creatures with white skull masks. "s**t." She'd hiss under her breath, flexing her left thumb as another similar spear materialized in a vibrant dance of azure embers to flames. In this burst, the beowolves pulled back, both blinded by the light and cowering away from the flames before realizing they were false. At that point, however, it was too late for them. Within the dance of embers, Yui had readied herself. Pulling her wings tightly behind her back, the girl would lung to the right, plunging the blazing spear deep into a beowolves chest. Using it as an anchor, she'd pull herself up to step on its chest, kicking off its enlarged shoulder as it began crumbling to dust. With the kickoff, gaining an aerial advantage, she'd pull the spear from its crumbled body before throwing it with precision through the eye socket of another. It stopped in its place, collapsing to kneel as two others raced past it. Away from its wielder, however, the weapon had no integrity and became volatile. It would explode into blue flames that raced to spread over the other two beowolves, collapsing as they writhed in burning pain before the trio all scattered to blazing dust. The last was ready to lunge towards the woman flipping in mid-air, drawn by the light of her burning spear. Before it could, however, a massive roar would resonate through the cavern like a thunderclap. A roar that was ferocious, threatening, and meant to instill fear at the very core of all who heard it. Yui herself had even found her shaken, her ears ringing from such a burst. It was unlike anything she had ever heard. As if it was calling the beowolf, the soulless red eyes would turn away from the girl. Without hesitation, it would bolt away from her like a bat out of hell, narrowly escaping the burning spear as it came down before striking the ground with a burst of embers instead. 'Tch.' She scoffed, drawing her spear from the earth as her gaze panned around her, widening in shock. She wasn't sure where they were even coming from, glowing eyes by the dozens starting pouring from every crevice in the cavern. No longer paying any mind to her, the ground seemed to tremble beneath their collective stampede as they charged further into the cavern. But for what? She knew that certain Grimm could assert their dominance over others, but what could have imposed such a presence to draw a horde of Grimm by the dozens? ... Had she been too late? Had whatever drove the students on further backed them into a corner? Her heart began racing at the thought, pounding violently in her chest. She had no time to lose, she had to get to them before whatever else was here could. Drawing the blazing spear closely in her right hand, she'd flap her wings to take off from the ground. This time, at mock speed. Her semblance was on the quick draw, ready to use it against whatever lied ahead.

... Yet nothing could've compared her for the atrocities that were to come.

The cavern had continued to tremble. It was the ground quaking that caused dust from the roof above. Loose stalactites would crack and fall from the ceiling above, narrowly scathing Yui as she soared above the forming horde of beowolves that continued to conglomerate towards whatever had demanded their presence. Sacrificing her spear, she'd draw her silver bow in order to unleash a volley of azure burning arrows. Whether or not the arrow managed to pierce the intended beowolf or the ground it walked on, it would soon after detonate in a small burst of flames that would collectively ignite more than a dozen beowolves. They didn't care, however. Even as they were set ablaze, they'd push through the anguish they were submitted to keep going. The only thing stopping them was the damage itself done by the flames, causing some to turn to dust. Even in their final moments, they were determined to make it to the cliff at the end of the tunnel. ... The cliff. That was the last thing that the drone they sent could see, but this wasn't the situation the Commander described at all. Blood, dust, emptiness. That's all that was between the collapse and the cliffside, but this... This was madness. Pale blue orbs were wide in astonishment, in disbelief. Creatures of darkness stormed the passage, stomping out her vibrant blue flames as they collected at the base of the cliff. A dustbowl would scatter, consuming the cave and obscuring her own dark vision as the segment of the cliffside came crashing down to the passage below. Rubble had collapsed at its feet, stray rocks of various sizes joining it. With the obstacle of a scaled cliff nearly cleared, the beowolves began collecting frantically at the base. What she thought were dozens before had multiplied tenfold, leaving her in utter disbelief at the number of Grimm that were swarming the cliffside. Hundreds upon hundreds of beowolves, just like the ravagers, were climbing and clawing their way towards something above them. If one beowolf fell, it's brothers would stack on it in the dozens as they clawed and tore their way up the cliffside. It was still far too steep, but the amount of beasts continued to grow at an alarming rate. Even with her obscured night-vision seeing nothing but a collective mound of shadows, she could still see what could've easily been a thousand red eyes moving in unison as the growls and snarls of the Grimm resonated through the cavern. There was something above, something that they wanted. That they needed. Her basic arsenal was nothing to this horde of Grimm, she had no choice but to let a flurry of embers erupt from her person, turning herself into a beacon of vibrant blue light in a realm of shadows.

Unlike with the ravagers in the cavern below, she had an aerial advantage that these beowolves couldn't hope to overcome. Even as they towered together, it meant nothing with the maneuverability that she had as she approached them cliffside, though she was still near the base. The first of many weapons she'd create was easily the most reliable at a distance, a bow. One of which she'd draw the string back as a cluster of embers collected, contracting until it formed a single arrow. Gaining altitude, she'd release the string to let the arrow fly as she passed by, letting the embers explode into yet another volley of blazing arrows. This time, it showered dozens of Grimm in burning arrows. While the bursts of flame were minute, many of the arrows flew true in order to cause several weaker beowolves to collapse on the spot. Many fell from where they climbed, though others were trambled by stronger ones that were eager to take their place. Circling around, Yui prepared arrow after arrow in order to drop as many of the 'pup' beowolves as she could. Unfortunately for her, it'd only go so far. As dozens of beowolves turned to dust, the sear number available to take their place was just staggering. For every one beowolve she slew, three more would scale the mound. Even if she could've staggered it's growth, it's clear it would've only lasted a moment. Each beowolve seemed more durable than the last, many in the mound brightly illuminated by her blue flames which burned their pelts, or arrows protruding from their skull-like masks. Among them, something by the like of which she had never seen before. She had never seen such an imposing creature in the flesh or shadows, not even in the worst of nightmares.. It was a beowolf with a staggering size difference from all the rest. Larger than any she had ever seen, practically dwarfing those that it treated like dirt beneath its feet. It's presence alone was imposing, but the strength it retained even more terrifying as she watched beowolves cry out in pain before scattering to dust as it crushed them beneath its paws and claws. They were nothing before it's horrifying strength, and it was making quick work of the collapsed cliffside. Clearly, this one was the alpha by every definition... This had to have been the one that summoned them here. She had to think of a new tactic, or else these efforts to hold off the Grimm would all be for not... Especially if that beowolf was allowed to reach the top.

In the midst of her thinking, she failed to realise that she had made herself far too apparent. Where hundreds of the beowolves were focused on getting to whatever rested top, Yui found herself a new target. With a shrill of a howl, one of the beowolves would leap from the mound, claws outstretched with its maw open wide, seeping with saliva. Quick on the draw, Yui's bow would dissolve and reshape itself, swiftly forming into a cutlass. With one swift slash, the creature would be bisected at the maw it tried to clamp down on her with, it's inside seeping with red before dissolving to dust. This wasn't the only one with such an idea. Grimm after grimm of various sizes turned their eyes to Yui, drawn by her light and disturbance. Rapid succession they would leap to what would've surely been their demise, but worth it in the eyes of the pack as a whole. They were nothing but cannon fodder, and if they thought they could take down the newfound threat, what was there to stop them? Dashing and weaving through the air, Yui found herself using her stellar are maneuverability to her only advantage. With the right movements, many of the beowolves would leap to their demise, their bones crushing as they hit the cave floor. Others who found themselves closer would be repelled by her cutlass. Clawed arms being separated, heads being decapitated, and torsos segmented. Embers to embers, dust to dust, the grimm were dropping like flies. With the fall of one, though, a larger beowolve took the opportunity another created. Utilizing its size to its advantage, it intended to take the bird right out of the sky. Her cutlass would only do so much, she knew that well enough. As the mass of shadows came down on her, she'd call her embers to her aid once more. This time, forming into a large, infernal shield that mounted upon her wrist. The creature would crash against the shield, both whining in pain but growling in fury as its pelt was set ablaze. The weight of the creature forced Yui down rapidly, taking the wind right out of her wings. Her mind began to race, her eyes widening from panic of what to do. Before her, she could only see her burning shield and the claws of the grimm tearing through it. Beneath her, many beowolves stopped in their place, their soulless eyes hungry for her passionate aura. Above them, a creature from their worst nightmares. She was out of time, she was out of options. As she fell to the pull of earth's gravity, she knew she had only one option left... With her final moment, she discarded her cutlass and reached for her pouch. For just a moment, there would be a shimmer of red light amidst her own blue flames, in the palm of her hand. Then, darkness as the grimm and her collapsed to the horde beneath them. There were only red eyes and the savage, distorted snarls of the damned creatures.

"So that's it. This pain... I can use it to push further. I can use it to reach them... This familiar pain. With it, I can stop it.... I can save them."

Beneath the sea of shadows would erupt a pillar of vibrant blue light. Grimm all around and above her reduced to nothing but dust as they were consumed by a violent torrent of azure blue flames. One that towered up dozens of feet as she focused her volatile embers upwards and outwards, purging the grimm from her presence from the sheer intensity of her flames. This beacon of light was so bright that it would emit from the edge of the cliff, showing that there was something beyond them. Something aside from the grimm themselves. With her wings ignited in their blazing glory, embers would static beneath them before erupting in another burst of flames, propelling her upwards. Yui's figure raced up the cliffside wall faster than any wolf could dream to climb it. Once again, several beowolf attempted to throw themselves away in order to ground the avian. This time, however, the ferocity of her wings were too much. Burned to dust before they could reach her, the remains of their dissolving bodies sent plummeting below as they were consumed by blue flames. As she neared the top, she found herself ready to engage. Determination burned in her now vibrant blue hues, her gaze focused on the edge side of the cliff. The alpha had made it to the top, and others were following behind it. Embers would collect to her palm, igniting to form a new weapon.

The Alpha: After the grimm used its strength and its strength alone to clear a passage to the top for not just itself, but the horde of grimm the hunters had left behind, it too began its ascension. This grimm was different than the others. It was a goliath compared to anything they had faced up until now. Be in the grimm that swallowed Fran whole, or the tusk grimm that attempted to eat Auburn alive. This thing was a whole new league, merely watching until now while the rest of its pack made quick work of these huntsmen in training. Where they were able to narrowly escape, it couldn't standby any longer. Not when it, too, hungered for flesh. Not when it too, knew there was a reason they were all here. Perhaps it spent the last few decades in this cavern, preying on any survivors of the falling nations. It was this grimm who kept this pack alive, in moments like this. Even if it meant many had to die. Those wolves who didn't know to clear the way for the alpha as it ascended were dusted just as effortlessly as they were against the blazing huntress that flew around so annoyingly. Its soulless eyes didn't break its focus, however. It instead chose to ignore the avian flying around them, leaving it to the rest to eliminate. There was a much more fulfilling prize at the top. The fear, the desperation, the betrayal. Their negativity was delicious, and it knew that they would be a much heartier meal than someone who was 'determined' to be a nuisance. It moved slowly because it could, it had no need to rush. In its own time, it easily scaled the cliffside. At the new top, where many students now stood at the edge, it's own massive claws would grip the stone edge, cracking it beneath the strength of its grasp. Now it was hungry, its maw with rows of serrated teeth seeping with so much saliva, it was intoxicating. Inhaling deeply, the creature let out a fearsome howl that would resonate through the cavern. A handful of beowolves had reached the top with the alpha, growling and snarling as they readied to pounce. While even they should be feared, they were nothing compared to the alpha. Pulling itself with a surge of strength, the goliath would suddenly be towering over the students. Even one such as Auburn was nothing compared to its size, its might. Its large, soulless red eyes staring down at them as its fearsome maw opened wide. It's snarl wasn't just a snarl, it was a warcry, it demanded to be feared. It was also meant to let them know one thing. It was over, they were done for. With its large, outstretched claws, it'd swing a mighty slash towards a pink-haired student who fiddled with ropes. Given its size and the ferocity of its strike, it could likely hit Reikka or Dee in the same stroke. Three students, one fatality.

As the creature went in for the kill, however, something astonishing would happen. Vibrant blue flames would erupt from the cliffside, spiraling as the smaller grimm howled before being reduced to dust. Some were bisected, others were simply burned by the intensity. This eruption of flames would spiral, trailing behind a figure that whizzed around and over the alpha to not only intercept the blow, but devastate it. Azure flames would dance across the cliffside along with the students, showering the alpha in a torrent of flames... As the initial rush of flames dissipated, turning into free dancing embers before they could burn the students, they would see a familiar face. It was Yui with her winter locks, though her doll-like expression had long burned beneath the smoldering fire. What were once graceful white wings were now coated in violently burning blue flames, illuminating the cliffside. Her clothes were burned, torn and bloodsoaked. Bandages she once had burned away, tracing her body with a number of new cuts and burns that coated her arms, back and neck. Notably, plunged not just inn her right hand, but through it, was a vibrant dust crystal glowing a rich blue, brighter than her very own flames. Around both ends were cracks in her skin, seeping with that same blue aura. From it, was a blazing sabre plunged deep into the skull alpha, coated in rippling flames that crawled up her arm. The arm it had tried to strike with had been charred, crumbling from the intensity of the flames that showered it. Yui's blue gaze would pan over for just a moment to catch a glimpse of the students, filling her with a newfound sense of hope and fulfillment. She had been right not to give up on them, to come into the depths of the cave against all odds to find them. It made her body feel lighter as if the pain that burned through it hadn't existed. Instead, it would become a burning sense of determination and passion that would ignite in her gaze. All of this, of course, happening in the fraction of a second or two before. Before her or the beowolve could react, or even try to separate from one another, something would shine in her left palm. It would shimmer orange and red, before they and the blue crystal through her right hand both cracked and began radiating an illustrious blue light. This was her final gambit before the beowolf could pull his because even with the burning blade embedded in its skull, it refused to turn to dust. "BURN!" She'd scream with all she had. Clapping the two dust crystals together, the flames from her wings would race down her arms and to the sabre within the beowolf. Reacting with not only the fire dust her semblance naturally resonated with, but it would also then chain react with a particularly volatile crystal of explosive dust Yui had tucked in her palm. Together, the effects of her semblance would multiply by creating a devastating explosion of blue flames, one that could've surely killed all the students on the cliffside if caught within at their aura levels. That wasn't the case, however, due to Yui's own precautions. Relying on solely her semblances heightened ability to manipulate flames, she'd channel it all through her right hand and sabre, directing the explosion of flames downwards towards the Alpha and the horde below. With this, a catastrophic series of blue explosions would scale down the cliffside, engulfing not only the alpha, but the horde of beowolves stacked dozens of times over in an all-consuming hellfire, showing the stragglers in a sea of azure devastation. An explosion of that caliber would shake the cavern, though if it meant causing another collapse, Yui knew what was beneath. Another cave, something that would swallow up the rest of the grimm if her attempt wasn't enough.

With the wind taken right out of her sails, she barely had what it took to manage a proper landing on what remained of the cliffside. The moment she touched down, she'd collapse into a kneel and brace herself against the stone floor with her left hand. "I made it.. Just in time..." Her arms burned, surely, but nothing compared to the searing pain that resonated in the entirety that was her right hand. Yui hissed, biting her lip to suppress the sheer agony. Even though the dust crystal had cracked and crumbled, both the front and back of her right hand had blackened. Nearly charred, they both had a series of cracks lined with blue embers that lingered, the severity of the burn lessening as it traveled up the entirety of her right arm. There was no trace of a sleeve anymore, just tender and burned skin. Taking a deep breath, she tried to focus. In reality, she was okay. Winded, sure, severely burned, absolutely, but she could still stand. She still had some weapons in her arsenal, she could still put up a fight if another grimm came around. ... Possibly. .. But what mattered, instead, was that the students here. They were actually here, alive, if not well. "You're here... You're actually here..." She whispered, exasperated as she still tried to catch her breath. Lifting her left arm, she'd bite at the damage fabric of her sleeve to tear and unravel it. It gave her a strip of blue fabric to work with, one that she'd try to carefully wrap around her right palm snuggly, though she'd hiss at the pain of contact. It stung, it burned like hell, but she could endure. The greatest pain she felt today was the possibility that they had all died, that not one student from their group had made it. But here they were, and here she was to prove the Commander wrong. With that high running through her mind, with sheer adrenaline coursing through her veins, she'd grit her teeth as she forced herself back up to her feet."I'm here to help you guys get out of here. You could say I'm... Your backup, but... Honestly, I'm just relieved to see you all again." Her voice was shaken, but the girl was managing to recompose herself. Relieved was an understatement, she was absolutely ecstatic, as she had the seeds of doubt about their death planted in her head. It was such a moving moment that she couldn't help but smile. A genuine smile, one that showed everything would be alright. Was it wrong that she had gotten so caught up about them, that she cared that much for their safety? Even though she barely knew the lot, she knew all their names. Fran, Auburn, Reikka, Nox, Sky, Dee.. Who was worse for wear, but with the extra assistance, she was certain they could get him the attention he needed.. Until she realised.. "All of you... Except Prince?" .. Had she really been too late?
