Personality: Unlike his boisterous family members, Imani is a quiet soul who has an older air about him. If he wasn't so young then it would be easy enough to believe that he is someone's kind grandfather who is always the last to jump to conclusions and willing to allow things to play out as long as no one is getting harmed. He prefers books to social interactions and only enjoys adventures as long as there is something to be learned. He is far less about the action and much more about the results and knowledge to be shared with others. Being raised mostly on the ocean has taught him to be self-reliant and able to adapt to various dangers and situations.
Appearance: Slender, almost feminine in appearance with a soft voice.
History: Born to the captain of a successful merchant ship who became enamored with the ship's sniper....
Raised on the Misty Maiden alongside of his sibling, Imani has enjoyed the life of the captain's oldest. Most of their voyages are between Matori/Oba and Belrea while there are rare trips to the Kahi islands which Imani enjoyed learning about. He's a very studious soul who has spent many of his childhood years just trying to keep the other younglings on the ship from blowing things up. As a result he is very protective, but not so much of one to voice his own feelings or make a scene since he'd rather avoid trouble.
Family: Chrysanthe (mother) Ephrym (father) Endellion (sibling)
Major Relationships: Ronan & Mako (a pair of siblings who are the children of the first mate on the Misty Maiden. They're basically like brothers to him.)
Some Notes: Usually has a pen or something to write with behind his ear or in a satchel at his side. Always taking notes and quietly observing instead of jumping into things.

Growth Blurb: Imani is adapting to the fact that everyone is going on their own path, he's matured and decided to study his own desired career path in cartography even if it was not what he had initially expected to do. Cartographer
While others practiced fighting in between working above deck, Imani now stayed in his cabin to practice his mapping skills. He had been hesitant about things before, but the warning of a stranger had oddly enough encouraged him to pursue his hobby instead of leaving it behind. Before he hadn’t given his interests much thought because he didn’t feel as useful when it came to fighting which had felt like a necessity when surviving on the ocean. He still could fight with throwing knives and had learned some sharp shooting techniques from his mother despite not excelling at it as she did, but it wasn’t his passion. Imani instead excelled in studying the interactions of others, preferring to fight with words through mentalist tactics as necessary instead of with punches, which he realized now was a useful skill as well. His own father was a swordsman, but as captain even Imani had realized how much more Ephrym relied upon social interactions to obtain what he needed instead of just using brute force. Simply being a brute wouldn’t have been enough to succeed with the Misty Maiden like his father did. Knowing how to socialize was surely something he could learn to rely upon going forward as he started to navigate the world in his own way as a cartographer. I’m truly doing this, I’ll learn to draw the best maps and navigate this world. As the sunlight came in through the window, lighting the area that he once shared with his sibling, Imani finally had a small smile on his lips. He would learn to be useful in his own way, preferring knowledge over physical strength, and he would record the world and map out all the routes that would make ocean travel so much more efficient especially when it came to finding the quickest trade routes. Who knew? Maybe he would even discover some hidden islands one day and map those as well, Imani already imagining the possibilities as well as realizing he would be mapping other things including places where he could hopefully track down his sibling and reunite with them once more. One could only hope at least, especially since Imani planned to adventure and map out the entire world.
