He's been in some tough situations before and knows how hard life can be when it wants to be, so he tries his best to make the most of what he's been given and not be negative. But this can have an adverse effect by making him seem like he's never serious and always goofing off, or trying too hard to be cheerful. Some of which, for his age, is absolutely true. Kayde doesn't think much on the future. He assumes he'll forever be traveling with the group, doing his tricks on the tightrope and summersaulting to the applause of an audience.
Of course, this did eventually come to an end and he was forced to think more about what he wanted out of his future. He was growing older and was hardly a teenager anymore. But he wasn't as disappointed by it as he initial thought he would be. Maybe some small part of him was ready for a change. Ready to stop wandering around everywhere, chasing some dream he didn't even understand. Like most things in life, he easily changed his goals, working hard at different jobs throughout his young life. Unfortunately, this developed into another problem. Kayde has an inability to tell people no. He doesn't like making people feel disappointed in his rejection. He feels bad making them search for help elsewhere, where they might not find it or the person they do doesn't do a very good job. He is a hard-worker at everything he does. And he knows it. So he will accept every request given to him, even volunteering those close to him to help out if he realizes he's taking on too much. Without asking them first, which naturally causes some problems in his relationships.

☘History☘ ~~~~~
Up To Prentice Kayde isn't sure where he comes from. Or, well, he's sure he comes from Tale, but he's not sure what town, what city, what village. In other words, he doesn't know anything about his parents or any other members of his family. All he knows is he was left on the doorstop of an Oban orphanage when he was still a baby. All that was with him was the basket he was in and the blankets he was wrapped up in. No note or any other signs that he belonged to anyone. Very likely he was left here, in Oba, outside of his home country, so he and anyone else would have a harder time of finding who he belonged to. Which, for a time, he didn't care about.
As he started to reach the age of ten, a new kid came to live there. Up until that point, Kayde had gotten along with the Oban kids. He wasn't all that much different from them. His skin was only a shade lighter than the palest one and some of them also had brown hair like he. The only real difference was, of course, his green eyes and pink crystals. But this new kid had come in with a vengeance. It seemed his mother had abandoned him and his father didn't want him, so he was taking out all his aggression on the others. Especially Kayde, being the only one of them not an Oban.
Some of the other kids, noticed how dominate the new boy was, started to take his side. He formed a little friend group around himself, turning it into a pack of bullies whose favorite target was, naturally, Kayde. Picking on the lone Leaf was so easy. And the adults who ran the place didn't seem to care what happened to them. So long as the abuse between the children wasn't physical. They didn't want the chances of them being adopted out to be ruined.
So, for years, Kayde took the brunt of the bully's rage. He felt lonely and abandoned by who he once thought were his friends. Until, one day, he snapped. But not in the way you are thinking. He grew so frustrated with his circumstances, that he left. Slipped away into the crowd one day, during an outing. He lived on the streets for a year, scrounging up what food he could and pickpocketing for money to buy his necessities. Until he picked the pocket of the wrong person. Caught, he was brought to the Oban's boss, who, instead of exacting punishment on this little kid, decided he could fill an empty spot in his traveling group of entertainers. Kayde had little opinions on this. He got a cart for himself, a warm bed, meals. It was better than living on the street.
And this is where he is now, working as an acrobat and seeing the world.
Prentice Kayde toured the known world, always remaining on the large continent of Tendaji. He got to see all five of the different countries and performed for all sorts of different people in each, from the poor to the very rich nobles in Oba. He was content and happy in this life. That was until they made their way back to Jauhar for the second time.
Years ago, while up in Zena, Kayde had fallen for a young noble's daughter. In the impulsiveness of youth, she had abandoned her life and run away with him, where she worked for the trope. But after a while, she started to hate all the hard work that came with the job, complaining and becoming lazy. One day whie in Jauhar, the troop packed up and left. Kayde never noticed anything was different until they had been to the next town over and the girl was no longer with them, having been left behind in Neued. Not having the resources to return for her nor able to persuade Murie to return for her, Kayde shrugged it off.
Until they returned and he met her on the street. He hadn't expected a warm welcome, but nor did he expect the hostility that he did get. Elka punched him in the gut and refused to believe he had nothing to do with her abandonment. In an effort to prove her wrong, he left the troop, renting a room in a boarding house just so he could remain near her. He never wanted to lose her, again.
Rogue Over time, Kayde was successful in showing Elka how much he cared about her, getting her to understand he would never leave her behind ever again. They became a couple and focused on enjoying the time they now had to be together, making up for the lost time while they had been apart. After a while, as their relationship grew stronger and they got closer, they started to dream for more. Elka especially wasn't happy in her current situation. She had begun to teach herself dance and, with Kayde's help, thought she was doing good enough. Together, though mostly him, they started saving their money, thinking of moving to Matori to pursue a dance career together. And also get a different change of scenery. Elka liked the sound of living by the ocean, as if she were on a permanante vacation and Kayde was more than happy to help her out.
But Kayde had a secret. He had acquired a piece of silver during one of his odd jobs and had taken it to a jeweler, turning it into a beautiful ring. He would surprise her with this shortly after their move to their new house in Matori, asking her to marry him. He didn't want to do that in Jauhar. It felt far more appropriate in their new home, where they would begin a new life together.
Another surprise waited for them. Elka's older brother, Deric, heir to their father's company, had been expanding their father's business to Matori. They reconnected and he even stood in as a witness when the two were married in a very small ceremony.

Physical Description: His hair grown out to his shoulders, half of it pulled back into a ponytail. I'd like his old hairstyle to still be present in the front, though, the way his bangs are swept to one side. Beard up to you. If it looks weird with the chosen outfit, he can lose it. Not so much in personality, but just in general growing up. He's moved from Jauhar to Matori, asked Elka to marry him, did get married, and they are now planning to have a family. His dancing career might have taken a bit of a backseat, but he's happy with his decisions.
Physical Description: Same hair. Facial hair. Outfit, Shirt unbuttoned a bit further down. Can keep the necklace if you want. Pants CC style. Any other accessories you think would look good, have at it! He's never been very picky on his style, though he is starting to look more elegant than casual, now. Body Type: Lean muscle. Not that you'll really see it, but he's getting more into his dancing career and will be lifting Elka up so only makes sense he'd put on some muscle.

He was selfish than and it is debatable that he still is being selfish, as he had never thought about helping her even once during those years until they found each other on the streets of Neued. Fueled by adrenaline, he began a personal crusade to work hard and win her favor back. No amount of rejections will stop him. She believes he can't do it, as he was always someone looking to the horizon and what new lands he could experience. Always on the move. She'll be in for a shock. He feels himself tiring of his wanderlust and wishes to settle down.
Physical Description: Again, I'm fine with whoever takes him to evolve his look as they please. At the moment, he's still fine in casual, comfortable clothes, but maybe the side of his hair that stands up looks more slicked down and like he's actually taken a hairbrush to it? xD Elka likes her men a little more tidy. Body Type: His current body is fine. Slender, not much muscle mass. He's still more about being agile than about being strong.
