Destiny City’s Star Festival began a few years ago as a quiet gesture of the city to promote goodwill and positive change in the community. The city is currently celebrating it's 102nd birthday and everyone is invited to participate. The Destiny City Star Festival is a time to promote goodwill towards each other and take pride in the city and all its communities. We all wish for a better world--so why not make that wish a reality? The city has set up numerous events to promote a little bit of fun while pushing towards making the city a better place. The Town Square is buzzing with activity; the City has given out permits for stalls to sell wares, promote programs, or recruit volunteers for various citywide ventures. Colorful decorations hang not only on official buildings, but local stores and residential houses as well. If you’ve ever wanted to help the city flourish--and make a little magic--now’s a good time to get involved! This year we've prepared some RPs and prompts that everyone will be able to participate in! More information can be found in the RP Prompts and Events list in the next post! In order for the shop to continue making updates and prepare for the upcoming Meta, we will not be having a raffle this year, but there will be Individual Participation prizes and growth opportunities. Roleplay opportunities and prize claims will be open from now until 11:59 PM PST on July 4th. While the majority of our events are designed to be playable by a wide variety of factions, we understand that not every group may have access to all plots. For players with characters that cannot participate due to IC or OOC reasons, players are allowed to play a disposable. Please see our information on disposables a few posts down! If you are a new player with no characters and want to join, you can! All new players can have a free, non-arted civilian to play when they join the shop! You will need to set up a civilian profile and get it stamped, but if you are a new player who wants to participate, please PM The Space Cauldron if you need help setting up a profile or have finished and need a quick stamp! You may play a disposable for the duration of the event and set up a quest to be stamped afterwards if you prefer.

RP Prompts and EventsRewards can only be earned through Event Roleplays or Event Prompts, so you must be active in the shop if you are interested in participating in the raffle! Each ORP will have specific instructions, so please make sure to read the rules as you participate! The shop will be hosting both an ORP and prompts this year. Links to these threads will be kept in this post, and all prompts will be listed here as well! Mini games can be found below. Please remember, there is no raffle this year; all rewards will be won through individual participation and task completion! ORPsORPs will be publicly advertised before they begin and will typically be dice based and get updates approximately every 48 hours. ORPs typically last for around two weeks during the event. You can participate with as many characters as you like, but you will need to write 500 words for a character if you are using a roleplay as a growth requirement for them! Open Events:All For One [Event ORP]Closed Events:N/A PromptsAll prompt responses must be posted in the Mini-Event subforum and can be written as a solo, a regular, or a battle (if applicable!). These should be labelled [Event-S], [Event-R], or [Event-B]. If you roleplay a disposable, these will not count towards any growth requirements for them, but if you are roleplaying with someone who has a disposable, it can still count for growth for your official character. More information on disposables can be found in the next post! To be eligible for any prizes, you must write at least five hundred words per prompt. You should include the prompt you are using in the first post of the RP or Solo. The roleplay does not have to be finished to count towards a prize (unless otherwise stated) but it will need to be finished before it can be used for growth requirements. While these events are written so that you only need a civilian to participate, you can play a powered character! Please remember--prompts are meant to be inspirations for your roleplays. You do not have to follow them completely, but the roleplay or solo should be obviously inspired by or related to the prompt you are using. Current Prompts:Quote: The Wishing Tree (1): A Destiny City Star Festival Tradition to be held every year; In Town Square, there is a beautiful tree with spreading branches. It is tall, but the lowest branches are easily reached. The city has decorated the tree with small, starlike ornaments and glistening lights. Thick leaves and beautiful purple flowers dangle from the branches, along with a myriad of different colored papers with handwritten wishes. Next to the tree is a stack of blank paper with twine attached, and a handwritten sign that explains: Write your wish on a sheet of paper and tie it to the tree. Take one wish off the tree and do your best to grant it. When you have granted the wish, bury the paper in the park. The papers are biodegradable and filled with seeds. There are no rules for wishing, but you are encouraged to wish for something vague enough that it can be interpreted in many ways so that it can be granted; you do not write your name on it, but it is encouraged to write something that doesn’t wish for self gain, but rather something that can make the world a better place. Some wishes dangling from the tree already include things like “I wish there wasn’t so much litter in the park,” “I wish someone would clean the graffiti off the old historic buildings,” and “I wish there were more volunteers at the shelter.” If you choose to use the Wishing Tree, what do you wish for? If your wish is private, you may write it on the paper and choose a spot in the park and bury it yourself instead of hanging it on the tree. Quote: The Wishing Tree (2) : Your wish is only said to come true if you grant the wish of someone else; when you write your wish, you must also take one off of the tree and do your best to grant it. What wish do you pull off, and how do you intend to ‘grant’ it? Do you work with someone else to grant this wish, or do you work alone? You may get approval from another player to use the wish their character hung up, but no names are attached so your character may not ever know who wrote it! Quote: Star Candy (3) : In your mailbox, locker, or desk drawer appears a bag of star candy! There is no indication of where or who it came from other than a small tag that reads: “Happy Star Festival!” The small, colorful pieces of sugar seemed to almost glow faintly, and after eating them, the world looks a bit different. Cartoonish and much less… real. Is it a hallucination? Is it some new reality? The strange vision lasts only half an hour, and after it wears off, the rest of the candy seems to disappear. How strange! Quote: Starlight Cookies and Moonlight Milk (4) : A new shop has opened up, just in time for the Star Festival! It doesn’t have anything on the menu except for Starlight Cookies and Moonlight Milk, but they are the talk of the town! Everyone who’s anyone has tried them, and without a doubt, they’re the most delicious things that they’ve ever tasted! Though...the reviews don’t mention that after you've had any, your eyes begin to glow strangely and sparkle like little galaxies are swirling within them. It’s beautiful, if a little strange! The effect fades after an hour, and your vision isn’t impacted...though, if you go to try the cookies again, the shop seems to have disappeared… Quote: Summer Storms (5) : There have been plenty of thunderstorms this summer, and everyone is blaming the weather for the strangeness of their electronics--or, bored kids out of school. It’s not uncommon to get phone calls from impossible numbers--strings of letters and numbers, and a blank caller ID. It’s hard to make out any sounds; it sounds like static, and a broken up voice in a language you can’t make out. There is no way to call the number back; it says the line is disconnected. Sometimes, text messages come through, in foreign symbols. The messages always disappear within a few seconds, and there’s no way to reply. People have even had video chats, but the image is always staticky and it’s impossible to make out any details except for a silhouette, and the same strange, foreign language. The city is hoping to have this issue fixed soon, but in the meantime they are asking for patience. Quote: Predatory Puddles (6) : Summer rains aren’t uncommon, so finding puddles dotting your path isn’t in itself particularly surprising or abnormal. However, as you walk past them, you feel the sensation of being watched, like eyes are on you. If you look into the puddles, you don’t see your reflection--nor the reflection of anything familiar to you. Instead, you see strange, decayed buildings, and odd, rotting plants. Something is watching you through the puddles, but before you can investigate, between one blink and the next, it’s all gone. When you look back, the puddles are oddly non-reflective, and then in the next blink, they’re all gone. The feeling of being watched doesn’t fade, though. Quote: The Calling (7) : A beautiful melody drift on the air from somewhere far away. The vocals are in a language you don’t quite recognize, but feel somehow familiar to you. Something about the song calls to you, but no matter where you go, the song seems to sound the same distance away. The longer it goes on, the more emotional the song becomes--and the more emotional you become. Something about the song is possessive and consuming, like it’s all you can think of. Something resonates in you as the song crescendos, and the feeling is at its strongest--be they good, bad, anything, but suddenly the song fades, and there’s only an emptiness inside of you. The feeling of loss is strong, and can leave someone feeling emotionally numb. Someone out there was calling to you, and you couldn’t find them. Quote: In the Water (8 ) : The Destiny City Reservoir is open year round but without fail always gets the most attention in the summer. It's a nice escape from the big city; it’s a five minute drive outside of the Eastern side of town and features clear water and sandy beaches--although, the sand here is notorious for squeaking when you step on it. It’s a hot spot for all fun summer activities, but recently something strange has been happening under the water. Sometimes, people feel like something is grabbing their ankle, even if they are just wading in the shallow end. In the deeper parts of the water, it gets a little more intense: something has been said to grab onto ankles and pull. People have been warned about dangerous pranks, but so far no one has been caught. In the shallow end, anyone unfortunate enough to be targeted may feel themselves being knocked off their feet and tugged into the water; anyone in deep water may feel a firm grip on their ankle, tugging them lower and lower. Somehow, anyone it targets is freed--either by wriggling and fighting, or because someone intervenes and pulls the would-be victim up. No one has drowned in the lake. Yet. It's impossible to see who, or what, is doing this, but it usually gives up after one failed attempt. Usually. Special Event Prompts:Special Event Prompts will lead up to an associated ORP; while you can complete these prompts at any point in time during the span of the event, ICly they will all occur before the associated ORP.Quote: The Meteor Shower (9) : One of the hallmark features of the Star Festival is the week long meteor shower that kicks off at the beginning of the celebrations. The first night is usually a little slow, and it picks up more on the second and third evening, but tonight is different. Within the first hour of the first visible falling meteor, something hits the ground with enough force that the ground trembles and power is lost for a few seconds. The impact can be heard throughout the city and the news reports that a small meteor made impact--only, they don’t report that they can’t find any damage and have no idea where it landed. Maybe that’s enough to convince some people, but anyone who knows about this powered war might expect that nothing good ever comes from space. Quote: Return of the Merchant (10) : Investigation for the curious meteor impact may yield few results for the civilian scientists of Destiny City--but they don’t have the keen eye and aura sensing ability of their local powered warriors. Cloaked by a mysterious device that emits a unique energy signature, the impact site of the meteor is hidden inside a strange, watery bubble that spans easily a hundred feet in all directions around it. This strange shield seems to reflect light, making it appear as though there is nothing inside--but, if you look for long enough, you can make out shapes and movement. You cannot pass through the barrier, nor can sounds or light. If you attempt to walk through it, you simply pass through the other side, as if you’d walked in a straight line. That might be peculiar on its own--except, there’s a sign posted where the energy signature is strongest. Painted in fancy, iridescent ink, elegantly scrawled, the sign reads ‘Temporarily Closed for Business.’ Beneath that is a painting of a wispy, floating little orb. Text below the picture reads, ‘WANTED. Will reward handsomely.’ The shop may be closed for tonight, but tomorrow is a different story. It might be worth coming back if you can find one of those wisps. Quote: Wanted Wisps (11) : Small, wispy orbs are floating through the city. They can be found during the day but are far more visible at night. They seem to bob along a few feet off the ground and sometimes flicker in and out of sight. They are warm to the touch and seem to be somewhat magical in nature. Anyone can gather them in their hands; they do not quite feel solid but cannot slip through fingers or escape any container. If you find one of these, you must return it to the merchant. If you do not roleplay with him, it will be assumed that you returned the piece to him anyway; there is no way to keep these. Please see this post for information on turning in the Wisp and claiming your prize.

Disposables
If you don't have a character in the shop yet, that's okay! Players may use a quest character or a character they create on the spot to participate in event only roleplays and prompts. You can only roleplay your character in the Mini-Event subforum. When setting up a new thread, you must put an asterisk next to your character's name to indicate that they are not officially won. For example, you might write a solo based off of a prompt and it would be titled [Event Solo] Title [Name*]. If you are participating in an ORP, the rules may be different so please read each thread accordingly!
If you are a new member of the shop and do not have a character in the shop and want to respond to a prompt by writing either a solo or roleplay, please fill out the following form and put it in a spoiler in your first post! Even if you have filled it out for other events or threads, you must include this in every new thread you are involved in. Character’s name: Age: Appearance: Personality Traits: (list 2-4 virtues and an equal number of flaws; these can be one word descriptions of each trait and do not need explanation)

Remember, your character must be unawakened and human, and should be a fairly believable character. If you have questions about what might be acceptable, please contact a member of our moderator staff for answers! You can also PM the shop mule The Space Cauldron and we'll get back to you as soon as possible! If you already have a character in the shop, you should not play a disposable unless all your characters are either unplayable or cannot participate. For example, if you have a character who is currently in the hospital and could not believably be involved in anything, you could play a temporary disposable. If you only have a full-youma and cannot justify them putting on a civilian glamour to participate or the prompts do not in any way relate to them, or if you have a Mauvian who does not have a civilian glamour, you can play a disposable instead-- however, you must PM the shop mule to give us a brief explanation as well as provide the character form in your PM. We just want to make sure everything checks out, so this will be a quick approval and is just to make things easier on us! Playing a disposable in this event does not mean they will die! You can quest for these characters at a later point in time, if you so choose! Remember, if the character has not been officially won and arted, none of your RPs will count towards their growth, but you are still eligible for prizes or RP related rewards! Playing a disposable during this event does not guarantee that you will receive your character, but it's a good opportunity to get your feet wet! New players can get their first civilian character for free, but if it's too stressful or time consuming to get a full profile up and approved, they can play a disposable during the event and then set up a profile to get them stamped afterwards. If you have questions, you can direct them to The Space Cauldron!

Event RewardsCompleting Individual Partipcation Rewards and playing certain Mini-Games will yield prizes, either OOC growth items or IC RP Items. We also have Indivual Participation Rewards: RP Opportunities, where you can earn special RPs with our NPCs that do not follow typical rules for requesting RP with them, as well as the opportunity to roleplay with a few exclusive NPCs that are not regularly available for request. This year we have several new prizes to offer, and more to be added after the ORP...LIMITED TIME IC RP ITEMSThese items will only be obtainable in this Event, and possibly other future Events! While you can win these as prizes, you can also purchase them for crown tokens from now until July 20th! For more information on purchasing IC RP Items, please see this post! Before the end of the event, the IC RP Item thread will be updated to include all new RP Items released in this event! Quote: Stardust Cotton Candy - Purple and blue cotton candy with edible glitter ‘stardust’ sprinkled into it.This cotton candy is packaged in a cute plastic bag and has an unusually long lifespan as long as it’s kept dry. It tastes like ordinary cotton candy, but once consumed, anyone who has tasted even just one bite can only say sweet things for the rest of the day. It will be impossible for them to say anything cruel or unkind, and it will magically come out of their mouth sounding kind. The user may or may not even be aware of this; this can lead to frustration at being unable to properly express themselves or absolute obliviousness. It only affects spoken words, and the cotton candy can be shared amongst others. The cotton candy must all be used in one roleplay, and when it is gone the user can keep the beautiful golden, faux-gem encrusted wand the cotton candy was spun onto as a memento. Quote: Opalescent Charm Bracelet - A silver bracelet with five round, opalescent charms dangling from it.Though this looks like an ordinary charm bracelet, when the magic is activated all five opalescent spheres pull off of the bracelet and form baseball sized spheres of light. All five spheres surround a single target of the wearer’s choice; the glowing wisps spin in a steady, circular pattern around the target about two feet away from their body. The orbs move with the target, but if anyone (or anything) comes in contact with one of the wisps, it will explode into a burst of light, causing a tingling sensation to whoever collided with them. This can cause up to fifteen seconds of temporary blindness or numbness to enemies, but at player discretion the orbs can also cause the temporary sensation of pain or lasting damage. The orbs will hover around the target until they explode, or for up to five minutes before they will dissolve. The magic only works once, and after the magic expires, the charm bracelet can be kept as a memento. This item can only be found at the battle site of the Cosmic Creature. Quote: Crystalized Wisp - A palm sized glass glass stone with a wisp that sometimes seems to dart about inside.During the battle with the Cosmic Creature, the force of the explosion encased some wisps in a glass-like crystal. The wisps are too small to have ever become anything substantial but sometimes they aimlessly float about inside the glass. The glass is smooth and comforting to hold and, if holding it while in a thoughtful or meditative state it can unlock a cosmic memory or image. This may be related to some meta or deep space information, or more personalized based on the wielder. All memories need to be approved by staff and players can contact The Space Cauldron with requests for the type of information their character can unlock. Staff will work with players to give their character insight on a topic of interest to them. The magic only works once, and after the magic expires, the crystalized wisp can be kept as a memento. This item can only be found at the battle site of the Cosmic Creature. IC RP ITEMSThese IC RP Items are designed to give your character a one time ability. These are not limited edition and have been permanently added to our list of purchasable IC RP Items. Like other single use IC RP Items, these will only cost 1 Crown Token to purchase. Quote: Cracked Pocket Watch - An antique pocket watch with a crack in the glass, and the faded symbol of Pluto pressed into the metal.Miraculously, this pocket watch continues to tick despite its apparent age. It seems impossible to open and tinker with, and it functions as a normal pocket watch until a button on the side is pressed. At that point in time, the user will be transported two minutes back in time; they will have the knowledge of the potential future if they follow the same course of actions. This can only be used in one on one plots, or events where players have permission. Only one person can be transported, and they will be sent into themselves two minutes ago, only with their consciousness and experience of the future. The magic only works once, and after the magic expires, the pocket watch will continue to keep track of time and can be kept as a memento. Quote: Seed of Growth - A small cloth bundle, tied off with a delicate ribbon. It appears ancient, but is still holding together despite its age. This odd little bundle feels as if it is filled with dirt and seeds but it is impossible to identify anything inside. If the contents are buried in dirt, be it sand or soil, it will cause an immediate burst of growth in plant life in a three foot circle around it. Burying it in Destiny City will cause ordinary, seasonally-appropriate (if exceptionally hardy) plants to grow, but if it is planted in soil in any sort of magically-charged place—a Homeworld, Wonder, the Rift or Negaspace, or in Mirrorspace—the plants that grow will be strange and magical, reflecting the location in which it is planted. These may be flowers or crops, but not trees; the seeds are not enough to be sustainable in the long run, but with plot approval, a certain type of plant can continue to grow and be harvested in the area; players need only contact the Space Cauldron to outline what they are hoping for. The cloth bundle can be kept as a memento. Quote: Glass Magnet - A strange, magnetic rod about six inches long. This magnet is an anomaly because it appears to be glass, albeit more resilient, and is clearly magnetic. It can be used once to drain the energy from a target and redirect it into the wielder. The amount of energy taken is always less than the amount of energy absorbed, and players can determine how much they want their character to be drained. It is strong enough to knock out a character if both players consent. The energy can only be redirected to the wielder of the magnet. As the energy passes from the target to the wielder, the inside of the glass will appear as though it has been struck by black lightning, with an oil slick sheen to it. This shape will remain in the magnet and can be kept as a memento. PERMANENT ACCESSORIESThese are a special type of IC RP Item that do not expire upon use! A player will be able to win these in events or purchase them for 3 Crown Tokens! These are a permanent edition to the shop! Each character can only earn one of each item, and items are non transferable from character to character or player to player. There is no limit to how many a player can acquire, so long as they have enough characters to give them to! These items may be owned by civilians, but not all of the items may be usable by civilians. If you have questions about how a civilian may use one of the below items, please contact The Space Cauldron before purchasing one for them so we can answer any questions! Quote: Article of Strength - An ancient piece of jewelry customized by the playerThe Article of Strength will take the form of any wearable piece of jewelry the player likes, either a ring, bracelet, necklace or earrings (or other approved jewelry, with staff approval). When worn, this item will grant +1 to all IC Dice Rolls in any staff run roleplay hosted by The Space Cauldron. This may not carry over to player run events and is at the discretion and decision of the player host. The item is non-transferable and can only be worn by the player who claims it. It can be worn and used as a civilian, or when powered up. Quote: Article of Resilience - An ancient piece of jewelry customized by the playerThe Article of Resilience will take the form of any wearable piece of jewelry the player likes, either a ring, bracelet, necklace or earrings (or other approved jewelry, with staff approval). When worn, this item will grant -1 to all damage done to a character through IC Dice Rolls in any staff run roleplay hosted by The Space Cauldron. This may not carry over to player run events and is at the discretion and decision of the player host. The item is non-transferable and can only be worn by the player who claims it. It can be worn and used as a civilian, or when powered up. While these all have a basic design, the items can have slightly varying appearances between characters to better fit aesthetics! Permanent Accessories can go on a character’s official shop art, but please make sure you work with your artist so it matches the description! ICly these items can be acquired in different locations depending on which faction your character is in! Most commonly, Senshi can find them on their Homeworld, Knights on their Wonder, Dark Mirror Senshi in Mirrorspace, and Negaverse Agents in Negaspace/the Rift. If you have a plot where your character acquires it in a different fashion, please send a PM to The Space Cauldron to discuss it! These items cannot be taken apart or repurposed for other means; they are all magically based and seem to be constructed of components that are hard to identify, making them impossible to replicate. Claiming PrizesPlease see the below post for claiming your Individual Participation Rewards prizes, and information for claiming prizes from any mini-games can be found in the associated thread! Art PrizesWhile the shop itself is not hosting a raffle this year, you can win some semi-premade civilian characters in Indi's Summer Raffle, which will close on the morning of July 5th after all RP Opportunities have closed. If you are interested, please check out the thread!

Individual Participation RewardsSometimes luck isn’t on anyone’s side; we are introducing a new option that rewards participation without any competitive nature! For every five roleplays or solos that reach 500 words, a player can claim one IC RP item--from our regular pool of one time use IC Items, from our current Limited Edition IC RP Item Pool, or any item from a previous Limited Edition IC RP Item Pool (with the exception of any items that were given out as special/exclusive rewards in certain RPs). You cannot claim an IC RP Item or any Item that was winnable in a player run event, however you have access to any IC RP Item given out in a similar staff run event. You can claim up to three one time use IC RP Items through this method! However, if you participate in ten roleplays or solos that reach 500 words, you will have the option to claim one permanent accessory in place of one IC RP Item! This means, if you do fifteen roleplays or solos, you could claim two one time use IC RP Items and one permanent accessory, or you could claim three one time use IC RP Items. These roleplays or solos can come from ORPs, prompts, or mini games; you can repeat prompts to count for this! These roleplays do not have to be finished before the month ends, but we will be keeping our eyes on roleplays to make sure they are moving forward; we want to reward players for their activity, but if roleplays are being started and only played to word count without actually finishing, this will negatively impact how we choose to release more permanent accessories to the shop. Please try to finish all of the roleplays you start! To claim these RP Items (one time use items or permanent accessories) you will need to use the following form and post in this thread: I would like to turn in (#) roleplays for an IC RP Item! link Trading for: (Which item are you claiming?) Giving to: (Which of your characters will be obtaining this? (This is only necessary if claiming for a permanent accessory!)

Please also remember to edit your claim into your IC RP Item Log thread post! If you are claiming an item based on your participation, you cannot gift this item to anyone else! This is for you, and you alone! All RPs must be finished and completed by the end of the event, but you have until 11:59 PST on Sunday, July 11th to post for and edit your prize claims. After that, the thread will be locked and you will not be able to alter claims!

Individual Participation Rewards: RP OpportunitiesAdditionally, to any player who completes 500 words to at least five event roleplays or solos, they have the option to participate in a one on one RP for a plot based interaction with any of our NPCs. These interactions may feature special missions or information depending on the faction and NPC. Chaos NPCs, such as any Negaverse General King or Queen Hessonite, Axinite, or Lepidolite, or Queen Laurelite, can be interacted with by any faction, but the results will be different; Negaverse characters may receive a special task and/or information while interacting with them and Order characters will are most likely going to be met with hostility unless the plot can manage otherwise. Cosmos can be requested for Senshi or Knights, and the Code can be requested for Knights. A mysterious NPC from Mirrorspace will interact with Dark Mirror Senshi or anyone with access to a mirror. Order characters may also receive a special communication from Caedus. Players may also choose to do another extra roleplay with the Mysterious Merchant at any point in time either during the event, or after. These roleplays will be responded to in a timely manner by staff but players can reply at their leisure. These roleplays are designed to be done between one character and one NPC, however special circumstances may allow a player to request another player be permitted to be involved. The player may choose any of their characters and any compatible NPC; some NPCs are unavailable to certain factions so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask! If you wish to use a civilian to interact with an NPC, please reach out to us to discuss who you would like to use and what role they play in the war so we can ensure a meaningful interaction. To claim this interaction, please PM The Space Cauldron with your chosen character, your chosen NPC, and any special information that may be important. Please also include a link to the five roleplays or solos with at least 500 words. You will only have until the end of the event, 11:59 PST July 4th to complete these RPs, however you can send your PM in through the 11th. If you do not know who you want to claim the reward for, please just PM the mule to claim; you can decide on a prize at a later point in time but we need to have a log of who completed these requirements. You may claim this interaction as soon as any five roleplays or solos reach 500 words; they do not need to be finished. You can claim RP Opportunities multiple times if you desire, you simply need five new valid RP or Solos for each claim. You can use the same roleplays you are using to claim other Individual Participation Rewards or Bingo Prizes with. A player can choose to make this a group RP if they want, but we ask that they please work with staff so we can coordinate! You do not need to request or start the NPC roleplay before the end of the event, but please just let us know if you are claiming and intend to hold onto it for a bit!

Star CharmsIn order to commemorate Destiny City's Star Festival, Destiny City has been handing out Free Star Charms! ICly these are being distributed from participating businesses and vendor stalls, from volunteers at historical landmarks, and during local events. Your character may also be ICly given one or find them while out and about. OOCly, your character may obtain one star charm for each roleplay/solo they participate in where you write at least 500 words for them; while you do not have to have your character receiving or finding one of these charms on screen in the roleplay, the roleplay you are using to claim the charm should mention the charm at least once. There is no limit to how many charms a player or character may obtain, but each character can only obtain one per roleplay. ICly these are collectible and OOCly they can be kept as souvenirs in character journals; they do not have any known magical properties. You can claim a star charm for your character and later give it away to another character. There are charms in seven colors for character to collect! The Amber Star Charm, the Gold Star Charm, the Emerald Star Charm, the Sapphire Star Charm, the Violet Star Charm, the Fuchsia Star Charm, and the Crimson Star Charm are all available! To claim a Star Charm, simply post in this thread with the following code: I AM CLAIMING A STAR CHARM! Character Obtaining the Star Charm: [Link to Journal] Color of Star Charm: [Which color are they claiming? You can claim multiples of the same charm for the same character if you like!] Roleplay: [Link to the RP or solo; you must have written at least 500 words to claim!]
