Hobbies:
Swimming - While it is also a good way for him to keep in shape, Lev enjoys the weightlessness and freedom swimming provides. Being able to hold his breath for long periods of time and maneuver himself in the water has also helped with his profession. He does not compete professionally, but he would claim that he was pretty fast.
Rockclimbing - A hobby picked up in order to destress and keep his mind off things, Lev often visits gyms with rock climbing walls, or even hikes up to the mountains to try his skills he’s honed on the real thing. He would one day like to travel to more challenging and dangerous places to try, but hasn’t done so yet because he has his younger brother to keep an eye on.
Cooking - Lev has always enjoyed cooking. It was usually a solitary activity that gave him time to relax and focus on something other than what was around him. He enjoyed the challenge, the smells, the tastes, and mostly he enjoyed seeing how other people liked what he made. Ever since his younger brother Misha moved in with him, he and Lev have been building a YouTube channel with videos of the two of them discussing recipes, how to guides, and reviews of the food they make.
Virtues:
Confident - Lev knows his strengths and he knows his weaknesses. He knows how to stand up straight and take criticism in regards to his career, and he knows how to stand up for what he believes, even if that means getting into a fight, because while he doesn’t seek out conflict, Lev doesn’t shy away from it either. Even though he came from a lower class, his family playing servant to the wealthy, Lev was confident in himself enough to seek out a new life and leave his home behind.
Adaptable - Over the years, Lev has learned that things don’t always go as planned. Sometimes there are curveballs. Sometimes someone in your life is there, and the next day they’re not. It is not always easy to push forward and realize that the world is still spinning whether you think it should or not, Lev has trained himself to roll with the punches and change with the tides. Because of this, things rarely surprise him, but one is always welcome to try.
Reliable - As the oldest child between himself, his brother, and his childhood best friend, Lev had always taken it upon himself to be the one they could rely on. That didn’t mean he was against getting into trouble, but he made sure his brother had enough to eat, or kept a lookout when his best friend wanted to try and swipe something from a store. He was protective of them as one would expect an older brother might be. Even now, he takes great care to be at places on time, and not forget important things. When someone he cares about needs him, he’s there.
Flaws:
Irascible - Like a cat thrown into water, Lev can be incredibly quick to anger when things are not going his way, and then he will be miserable and make everyone else miserable for a long time after that. His anger builds slowly and is rarely fully explosive. His ire usually grows to the point where the other party would be stupid not to realize what was coming next. While not incredibly violent by nature, Lev has been known to throw a punch or two when he has been pushed to his limit.
Bitter - While Lev can put on a smile and act the part of a charming man when he has to, he is really just bitter and jaded and wants nothing to do with people. Which is unfortunate for him because his whole career consists of dealing with people. Although he does consider himself an extrovert, he has been around people for so long that he feels like he knows what their nature is, shortly after meeting someone.
Stubborn - Even if he gets torn down, Lev will never stay down for long. Even when his anger pushes him past his limit, his fight or flight response typically stays locked into fight. He has to be stubborn if he plans on making a name for himself; if he let things wear him down so that he could not continue on, he knows he’d have no place in his field.
