Age: 17
Birthdate: August 24
Gender: Female

Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 140 lbs.

Nindo: "Hakuna Matata"
Personality

Village: Kirigakure
• The Kirigakure insignia, which acts as an id and key throughout the village, is inscribed as a blank rectangle that stretches over the palm and fingers of Kagerou's right hand. To see the whole rectangle, which resembles the outline of a playing card with its rounded corners, she would need to close her fingers together.
Titles: Chuunin; Citizen
Rank: C-rank
First Class: Medical
Second Class: Sealing

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|c σ м в α т • ∂ α т α|├▬
Bloodline: Sharingan [Dormant]

Chakra Pool: 460
• Medical - { 175 } chakra
• Sealing - { 175 } chakra
• The Shippening - { 50 } chakra
• Basic Training: Meditate - +40 chakra
• Basic Training: Performance - +20 chakra
Stamina Pool: 345

• The Shippening - { 50 } stamina
• Basic Training: Meditate - +40 stamina
• Basic Training: Performance - +20 stamina
Chakra Elements: Fire, Wind
Chakra Color: Forest Green
Chakra Materialization: Rustles around her like a flurry of leaves and branches. A miniature forest, almost.

Strengths:
• Medical
• Absolute/Perfect Pitch
• Level-headed
• Team combat
Weaknesses:
• Brute force
• Creating new compositions
• Cares too much
• Solo combat
Fears:
• Losing a loved one.
• The ghosts that look like floating bed sheets. Anything but the floating bed sheets.

Class Disciplines:
• Efficiency Expert
• Inscriptions of Power
Reductions:
• Learn Medical techniques two [2] posts faster.
• Learn Ninjutsu two [2] posts faster.
• Complete E- and B-rank medical field jobs one [1] post faster.
• Complete D- and A-rank medical field jobs one [1] post faster.
Personal Attributes:
• Illusory Prowess: This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha and adds a single secondary sense to any genjutsu cast by the Uchiha, at their discretion. (People with bloodlines still get an optional attribute for free... right? I remember being told so but I can't see it written anywhere on the bloodline...)
• Kiritani Heritage - The Kiritani, the maternal side of Kagerou's family, have a long tradition of serving Kirigakure from the shadows and high standards to match. Being able to cast techniques without hand signs is what they consider the bare minimum, and they expect no less from Kagerou despite her Uchiha surname. Kagerou can replace hand signs/seals with equivalent gestures and motion from the wrists or fingers of one hand.
• Hippocratic Oath - Whatever it takes from her, Kagerou is determined to save every life she can, more so than taking any. Eiseijutsu costs are reduced by five [5].
Nightmare Veteran - After the hellish nightmare created from the mind of an exhausted Jack, practically anything else is "relaxing." Kagerou's chakra regeneration is increased by one step. Should her regeneration go beyond what is written in the systems, the amount recovered is doubled to account for the extra step.
Inkapocalypse - You thought this was a pun on Inka, but it was me! Dio! Bad jokes aside, the pun really isn't about Inka. Following the Sero pod event, which was clearly caused by some sort of sealing mishap, Kagerou spent an unhealthy amount of time studying seals. Fuuinjutsu costs are reduced by five [5].
Iryo-nin I - Kagerou receives a +1 dr [slightly modifier] to her eiseijutsu and [Medical] jutsu for each medical title earned (e.g. Surgery: Lifesaver, Surgery: Medic, and Surgery: Assistant count as 3 titles altogether).
Iryo-nin II - Kagerou can retrain [Medical] jutsu into those with a [MEDIC] tag on the end of them. [MEDIC] jutsu exhibit healing properties equal to their rank and are considered to be [Medical] and eiseijutsu.
A Sound Mind - Due to her training in the psychiatry medical field, Kagerou knows when someone is deceiving her. Note that this does not mean she knows the details of the deception, such as how she is being deceived, what she is being deceived on, to what extent the deception goes, etc. [Locked until Kagerou receives a psychiatry field medical title.]
Mind and Body I - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type.
Evergreen Thumb - Halves the time of growing plants, even when using fertilizer.

Weapon Type: Bells (instruments) tied together by a red string to form a loose bracelet.
Weapon Range: See performer rules.
Weapon Weight: less than 1lb.
Weapon Location: Kagerou usually wears her bells around her right wrist, not really caring about hiding her presence when she's just casually walking around. When she does need to keep quiet, though, she'll stow the bells away in her projectile pouch, where they're muffled into silence.

Uzumaki Clan Mask Type: Strange [Grand Condor; regional variant: Kumogakure (raiton)]
• Event item. Can be used as an Uzumaki for its intended purpose after training the appropriate techs.
Threat Level: B
Description: A solitary predator, this bird sports a wingspan of nearly thirty feet. Almost its entire body is covered in a hard carapace that looks like exposed bone. The primary habitat of the Grand Condor are the plains and wastelands of the Earth Country, though variants of the species have been seen as far afield as Otogakure, Konohagakure, and in rare cases Sunagakure. These birds are highly territorial and will viciously attack anything that occupies their hunting grounds.
Abilities:
• Flight.
• High defense, starting at C-Rank for chicks and increasing to S-Rank for adults.
• Beak and talons of strength one to two ranks lower than defense.
• Hypnotism.
• Reflects Genjutsu.
• No Stamina drain.
• High maneuverability.

Known Weaknesses:
• D-Rank speed.
• Susceptible to attacks that pierce armor.
• Super squishy under the armor.

Notes:

• Drops Kaguya bones.
• Tail feathers have hypnotic effects and can be worked into items in place of cloth, allowing the wearer to see through Genjutsu as if he or she were one rank higher. These effects are doubled if the feathers came from an S-Rank member of the species.
• Special regional variants are immune to specific elemental Ninjutsu up to their threat rank. The element is that characteristic of whichever region the bird is found in (i.e. Fuuton for the Wind Country, Katon for the Fire Country, etc.). Feathers from these birds can be worked into items in place of cloth, providing a defense that negates descriptive enhancements on techniques of the given element. If used in non-tailoring crafts, the regional feather variants increase any descriptive related to their element by one.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬
Uchiha Kagerou was born and raised in a family of ninjas. Her father was an Uchiha. Her mother did not come from any sort of bloodline or clan that possessed a list of secret jutsus, but was still a powerful kunoichi in her own right and had come from a long line of musically inclined kunoichis. Following in her parent's footstep's, Kagerou did well in the academy, learning her lessons and passing her tests with the ease of the typical Uchiha prodigy. She was an exemplary student in academics, and a predisposition for calm kindness made her a natural choice among classmates to ask for help with anything they were having trouble with in school.

As her academy years drew to a close, Kagerou and the rest of her classmates naturally began selecting the paths they would take as genin. Kagerou, with a natural talent for chakra control and studying that had carried her through her academy years, easily chose to pursue a career as a medical ninja. It matched her preference to help rather than harm, too. In addition, thanks to her mother's side of the family, she had grown up well-versed in the art of entertainment. Like her mother and her mother's mother, Kagerou chose to weave music into her fighting style. Thus, her path was set: a medical performer.

It wasn't long after Kagerou's academy graduation that she experienced the destruction of her entire village. Before even receiving a squad, the sky grew dark. She was luck that she wasn't caught in the middle of the devastation. There were others who had to suffer the horrors that took place in the center of the terror. Kagerou barely handled even the monsters on the outer ring of the darkness. She didn't know how the nightmare began, and when the nightmare ended, she wasn't sure about the details even then.

Like so many others, she wanted answers, but she didn't let the curiosity eat at her. When everything was over, she focused on mattered. The past could always be discovered later if she really needed to know. The present and future of the village mattered more. Kagerou couldn't do much, but she did everything she could. She willed herself to smile when no one else could, just to show it was possible and to help those who had suffered so much more than her to slowly recover their old smiles. She cried and mourned for the fallen like the rest, but she also knew that memories could only be honored with such intensity for so long. Fortunate enough to have both of her parents, her entire immediate family, survive the incident, Kagerou did not need to experience the torment that clouded the judges of so many others and had fewer shackles keeping her from moving forward and onwards towards helping the village.

She spent most of her time, during the beginning of reconstruction, in the make-shift hospitals that tended to the many injured in the fighting and the growing number of people falling ill because of the poor living conditions immediately following the crisis. Serving as an assistant with her mediocre medical abilities, she learned plenty by working alongside much more experienced doctors and nurses. This wasn't the type of structured learning experience Kagerou had expected to advance her medical skills in, but she took what she could get. Because of the sheer number of patients and the sheer lack of personnel, Kagerou actually didn't get a lot of chances to learn any ninja medical techniques. In light of such numbers and no imminent threat, the medical staff had to conserve the energy of everyone working. Chakra was used sparingly, and as a result, while Kagerou's knowledge of standard medical practices increased, her skills as a medical shinobi stagnated. Every now and then, she had to bring out her rudimentary medical jutsus. However, she was given no chances to learn any new ninja techniques.

Even after the initial rush of medical attention ended as combat patients were discharged and the living conditions of the village reached a point where people could leave cleanly and safely, there was still so much more work for Kagerou to attend to. As she knew so much less about everything than anyone, she didn't find a place working in fields that would allow her to practice the ninja arts. Again, while she could have learned jutsus and reached a level where she was helpful with ninja techniques, learning cost time and energy that could be much better towards other uses.

Eventually, Kagerou settled into the simple task of transporting supplies. It was a task anyone could do. Therefore, perfect to give to someone that didn't have special skills in any field. Working around her small frame, Kagerou was tasked with transporting shipments, alone, in a small boat that she rowed while standing at the back. The size of her long, narrow boat also made it a good fit for transporting people. Thus, she ended up ferrying people and objects across Kirigakure's vast lake for the rest of the reconstruction.

When the reconstruction completed and Kirigakure could fully function once more, Kagerou received an announcement and notice from the Mizukage, one that was distributed to all shinobi in the villages. Taking this as a signal that it was time, she finished her last jobs as a gondolier and readied for her return to her initial job: kunoichi. She sort of wanted to keep the gondolier oar and gondola for old time's sake, but figured that as she wouldn't have much use for it anymore, it would be better if she just left it for someone who would be using it more regularly.

Hoping that her skills hadn't grown too rusty, Kagerou returned to the ninja scene. Not in a showy shower of sparks, but in her usual calm, happily smiling manner.

User ImageKagerou blinked at her Inka as it made no reaction, not even a physical one. Was it because she had said nothing for it to react to? Miyuki's on the other hand, responded, quite garishly, too. A crunching sound attracted Kagerou's eyes to Miyuki's Inka just as its neck... dropped in a way that could neither be healthy or natural. A spray of ooze accompanied the sickening change, but unfazed by that, Kagerou had already started to run over to the other Inka. Hopefully, her Inka would remain intact until she returned... hopefully.

Respecting what felt like unwritten rules that each Inka was meant for one individual, Kagerou stopped just short of really getting close to either Miyuki's Inka or Miyuki. That respect didn't last for long, though. As soon as the Inka's cheeks started to hollow, Kagerou glanced at Miyuki and understood that she wouldn't be interfering in anything. Then Kagerou tried to briefly make eye contact with Takeda. Without words, she besought him to protect Miyuki, though she didn't say it aloud for fear of causing undue panic in the sensitive pink-haired kunoichi. It wasn't that she didn't think he was going to protect Miyuki. After all, he wasn't one to go back on his words. It was just a reminder to make sure Miyuki was priority, but well, it was only a momentary gaze. Only so much could be said through one such look. After trying to get all of that through, Kagerou stepped up to the Inka that wasn't her own.

What would Kagerou do now? Ah, who knew? Kagerou didn't. Time to wing it.

It started with just the ringing of bells and gently cupping Inka's cheeks within her hands, paying no heed to whatever mysterious goo ran across her fingers. Trying to somewhat fix the Inka, if that was at all possible, Kagerou tested the waters by ringing a technique into life, Chiyute No Jutsu: Karui [ Healing Hands Technique: Minor ], with the sound created by her hands reaching up to Inka's cheeks. Would this do anything? Haha. She didn't know, but that was why she started with something so low level. Two balls of healing chakra appeared beneath Kagerou's hands, attempting to do some good for the hollowing cheeks. Another appeared upon the Inka's neck, testing the waters to see if any sort of healing could be seen to be done upon the neck that was being gently pulled back up. Under her gentle touch, she could feel that, misshapen as the flesh was, it still felt like flesh. She didn't dare put any more pressure on it, though, for fear that it would cause the already caving in cheeks to cave in further. Although, that also meant that she couldn't pull the neck up with much force.

Eye-to-eye, Kagerou stared into the weeping socket(s) of this Inka. Their heights were nearly identical, and a stray thought asked, . As for what Kagerou said, it started with a very small, "Danger..." Just a repeat of what the Inka-lone had said. The crimson eyes of the Uchiha trained onto holes of blood and, if she could turn it in her direction, gold until a sound came from below. Kagerou glanced down as tendrils of something split the ground. She gulped, but otherwise looked back up and held her ground. Red returned to look into red and gold.

Maintaining that confident, or at least she hoped it was confident, eye contact, Kagerou continued, "Inka-sama, you are not a danger to the village." They weren't just empty words. She remembered at least one time where he had protected her and everyone else in that small office. She was going to show that time to him but from his own perspective.

As an excuse to move, Kagerou's right hand moved from the cheek to further up the face, wiping away the stream of liquid from one eye and then from the other. Using the ringing that accompanied the movement, Kagerou performed Shinteki Ijutsu [ Mental Medicine ] to open that memory from the not so distant past. Hand placed on Inka's forehead to help Kagerou grasp onto the immaterial moment, she concentrated on having Inka remember just the memory she needed. Whether or not it worked she didn't know, so she narrated what she wanted him to know, "I hope I did this right... There was a lot of... unpleasantness that night, Inka-sama, but I remember, seeing in the corner of my vision, the advisor back then, you, grasping tightly to a small body, protecting him it would seem. What had happened, was happening, or even what was said, I don't remember. I was too focused on my task, but I do remember that the next thing you did after relinquishing protection of that small body was to pull the rest of us together to make sure we could protect our weakest. You are no danger. You are most definitely not a failure. You made sure we were as safe as we could be under those circumstances. You are a protector, so the danger... must be something else... Can you tell us what it is?". Hopefully, even if the technique hadn't worked, then Kagerou's words alone would jog Inka's memories enough for him to remember what she was talking about.

Breaking her words with a long breath in and then out, Kagerou decided that she wasn't done. Not yet. Even if this Inka looked like he wasn't listening to her at all, she was going to continue. A smile, pinched and small but still trying to shine as strongly as it could, accompanied what Kagerou had to say next, "And even if you truly are the danger, then please Inka-sama, I have just one request. Apathy is a terrible thing to have. I still believe that the last thing you want is to harm your own men and women, so don't just stand there and accept it if you become the danger. Fight whatever is changing you, and if you can't win alone, then just endure for as long as possible. We'll be right up there to save our princess from her leafy tower prison in no time." Ideally, Kagerou would have ended with a laugh, but as it was, smiling and trying to make light of the situation was taking all she had in the acting department.

Shinteki Ijutsu [ Mental Medicine ]
Rank: C
Official Description: Curing people of their mental problems is usually a long, drawn out process between the psychologist and their patient, through many sessions of inner reflection and medication usage. This jutsu provides the former, by allowing the psychologist to gently nudge or open a single memory harmlessly in a certain direction. It does not replace it or alter it in any way, but the patient usually will undergo an immediate relapse, allowing the doctor to use their other skills to continue the healing process.
Guild Description: Is not retrainable.

• Specialist -The user chooses to specializing in healing medical techniques and gains a great boost to their chakra control in that area. At Chunnin, they gain a -5 chakra reduction to perform techniques in their specialty. at Jounin, -10, at Konin -15 at Sannin -20. To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side.

• Grand Performance - The user can perform both types of arts (ninjutsu and genjutsu) through their performance or instrument, often casting them at the same time (must pay for both techniques). Can perform D rank techniques through instrument at gennin, C at Chunnin, B at jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin.

• Learn Medical techniques one (1) post faster.

• Learn ninjutsu (1) post faster.

• Learn genjutsu one (1) post faster.

• Miracle Performance - Kagerou can perform healing eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing healing medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use healing hands.

• Calamity Performance - Kagerou can perform offensive eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing offensive medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use killing hands. Harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner is guaranteed to hit as long as the condition of sound is met, but it takes one post to manifest its effects. In that time, the technique can be nullified by matching the energy (chakra/stamina/whatever else) cost Kagerou paid to use the entire jutsu, including any extra costs for additions/modifications. Those afflicted by harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner become aware that if they do not spend the required amount of chakra/stamina, then bad things will happen to their body. The target(s) will have a vague sense of how bad the damage will be, but do not know what exactly will happen.

Dream Audience - Kagerou's dream is to help as many as she could. From this desire, the dream world manifested the power to multiply the recipients of all of her eiseijutsu techniques. With neither extra effort nor decrease in power, Kagerou can affect two extra targets for each eiseijutsu activation as long as they fulfill the requirements to be a target (i.e. contact for most eiseijutsu by default or sound when Kagerou performs eiseijutsu). Past the starting two, she must spend a total of 5(n-3)+10 energy split evenly between chakra and stamina for each additional target; n = number of targets. Odd energy costs are split with 1 more point of stamina than chakra. This additional cost cannot be reduced or refunded.

The Good Host - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.

Iryo-nin I - Kagerou receives a +1 dr [slightly modifier] to her eiseijutsu for each medical title earned. 2 medical titles = +2 dr [mildly modifier].

Mind and Body I - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.

Mind and Body II - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.

Evergreen Growth - Life always finds a way, especially when it's helped by someone who truly cherishes it. Plants cultivated by Kagerou grow as if the soil they are nourished by is +1 grade higher than it actually is. Unfertilized soil yields crops in 2 rl weeks. Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)

Kagerou is calm, like a quiet forest. Very little can put her on edge, but it's usually because someone is going to get hurt or otherwise suffer. She takes her job as a medic seriously, and believes that everyone deserves medical treatment after a battle has been decided, enemies and allies alike. Her priority in fights is keeping everyone alive. She'll risk her own life if she needs to, but she's really not a fan of dying. In fact, she's scared to die, which speaks volumes about her own determination. She dislikes hurting others, even people who are actively trying to hurt her, and tries to avoid any direct confrontations when she can. While she's usually mindful about the potential difficulties and obstacles following any decision, there are times when she'll completely ignore the easier way, especially if the only one suffering is her. Her path to the medical class is the result of one of those moments. She didn't particularly have any difficulty with her medical studies, but there were certainly other skill sets she had better talent for. She's probably the type that does what she wants to do regardless of what she's actually good at. A nature-lover, Kagerou finds it easiest to relax in the presence of the natural world or those who are closely connected to it. In her free time, she likes gardening and long walks in the forest interspersed with breaks where she finds a nice place to quietly read, play some music, or nap. Despite the disarming smile that almost always graces her face and her usually calm demeanor, she actually talks quite a bit and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She appears to have no concern for personal space, and often gets uncomfortably close to others without realizing it. While not ashamed of her Uchiha heritage, Kagerou is still very careful with it. She grew up with her father's repeated warnings regarding the Sharingan's value as an implant. Combined with her non-Uchiha mother's unbroken winning streak against her father in every spar since academy, Kagerou has learned to be very reticent about her inherited eyes and to expect nothing from the Sharingan. In fact, she sort of doubts that she has inherited her father's bloodline abilities, which is the norm for her mother's traditionally bloodline- and clan-less side of the family.

• Efficiency Expert - Medical jutsu cast by shinobi of this discipline are cheaper in cost as determined by the users body rank. At body rank D and C costs are reduced by five[5]. At body rank B and A, costs are reduced by ten[10]. Finally at body rank S and S+ costs are reduced by fifteen[15] These reductions DO NOT stack and override their previous totals. (D+C -5, B+A -10, S beyond -15).
• Inscriptions of Power - Through tireless study and practice ninja of this discipline have learned to create fuuinjutsu that is stronger than those of their peers. Gaining the property of overwhelming all fuunjutsu will defeat techniques of the same rank unless they also overwhelm same rank, in which case they will cancel out.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|p e r s o n a l • a t t r i b u t e s|├▬
• Nightmare Veteran - After the hellish nightmare created from the mind of an exhausted Jack, practically anything else is "relaxing." Kagerou's chakra regeneration is increased by one step. Should her regeneration go beyond what is written in the systems, the amount recovered is doubled to account for the extra step.
• Inkapocalypse - You thought this was a pun on Inka, but it was me! Dio! Bad jokes aside, the pun really isn't about Inka. Following the Sero pod event, which was clearly caused by some sort of sealing mishap, Kagerou spent an unhealthy amount of time studying seals. Fuuinjutsu costs are reduced by five [5].
• Iryo-nin I - Kagerou receives a +1 dr [slightly modifier] to her eiseijutsu and [Medical] jutsu for each medical title earned (e.g. Surgery: Lifesaver, Surgery: Medic, and Surgery: Assistant count as 3 titles altogether).
• Iryo-nin II - Kagerou can retrain [Medical] jutsu into those with a [MEDIC] tag on the end of them. [MEDIC] jutsu exhibit healing properties equal to their rank and are considered to be [Medical] and eiseijutsu.
• A Sound Mind - Due to her training in the psychiatry medical field, Kagerou knows when someone is deceiving her. Note that this does not mean she knows the details of the deception, such as how she is being deceived, what she is being deceived on, to what extent the deception goes, etc. [Locked until Kagerou receives a psychiatry field medical title
• Mind and Body I - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type.
• Evergreen Thumb - Halves the time of growing plants, even when using fertilizer.
• The Good Host I - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.
• The Good Host II - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.
• The Good Host III - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.
• The Hunter's Instinct I - Can always find 1 type (Illusory Pathway Tree) of Monster or Creature's general direction from your location.
• Targeted Immunization - 1 extra Hazard effect immunity. [Fear]
• Variable Technique I - Allows a rank-stated technique to be turned into an x-rank technique.

Story PA: Sukostudious
From reading over Kumotake's detailed notes about his companion you've learned a little more about his behaviorism's and anatomy.

• Sukoso's average life expectancy can be calculated but it seems apparent the Kumotake hasn't done this himself
• Sukoso has a fear of marital cannibalism
• Kagerou can now communicate with Sukoso with variant hand motions and hisses to comprise simple sentences or commands. Albeit this won't make her look any less silly doing them.
• Kagerou will be able to understand and pick up certain emotions Sukoso conveys via his body language.
• Kagerou will be able to understand simple sentences produced by Sukoso though not entire conversations.
• Sukoso's primary diet are game animals although he can survive off chakra alone.
• Sukoso much like a cat can be deterred by a spray bottle however, the contents of the spray bottle must contain traces of citrus origin...this also surprisingly applies to Kumotake.
• Sukoso's chakra natures are Air and Electricity, Kumotake's Earth and Water
• Sukoso's venom can cause heart failure and organ collapse Kumotake also has the the ability to produce venom which causes intense euphoria.
• There are 9 notable weak areas on Sukoso's anatomy, the section of his abdomen where it connects with his upper body and the mid-joint of each of his legs.
• A possible assumption regarding Sukoso's innate need to have Kumotake mate so young may involve the spider projecting his own need for potential offspring that is inhibited by his current standing fear.
• Sukoso often when attempting to get his way from his host will involve exposing his fetishes of which he's embarrassed about. Much to Kumotake's forgetfulness this information is contained in said notary.

Kagerou's Dad

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|ρ є r ѕ σ η α ℓ • ∂ α т α|├▬
Full Name: Suigetsu Uchiha
Nickname:
Age: 41
Birthdate: 01/01
Gender: Male

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 155bs

Nindo: "The sun will come out tomorrow, so you gotta hang on 'til tomorrow, come what may!"
Personality:
Hyperactive and happy-go-lucky, Suigetsu is a cheesy ball of accidents. Seriously, unless he's copying someone, whether it be from memory or from sight, he's clutzing around like a shoujo heroine. In a fight, he's all but forced to copy the movements of others (be they real-time or from the past) or risk a crucial fumble, making his attacks, blocks, and even dodges predictable by those who've fought with the right people beforehand. At home, he's free to fall and slip as much as he needs. He usually finishes any work in time despite his unlucky mishaps.

As for his cheesiness… As a prime example, he will frequently point out that his and Kyoka's name combined to make the saying "Kyoka Suigetsu" and joke about how they must be destined for each other. This was how he asked Kyoka out for their first date and how he proposed, which might have been cute if he didn't mention this coincidence probably a million times when the two of them were dating and continues to talk about it to this day.

Suigetsu was rather late to join Kirigakure's military. He formed a friendship with his future wife, Kyoka, first. Then he decided that he'd join her in the ninja profession to help "give you courage and because you look really lonely." At around that time, Kyoka had just lost her older brother, so she had plenty of misgivings about the "family business" so to speak. Despite his myriad of accidental handicaps, Suigetsu kept pace with Kyoka's progress, only falling a little behind her every time they both advanced. Exhibiting a particular sensitivity to not only his physical surroundings but also the ambient chakra present throughout the world, he gained value as a sensor, a task that cared little for how many times a day Suigetsu would nearly trip into the enemy's kunai.

Most of the time, Suigetsu is the fool. He's far too nice for his own good and rather single-minded, too. He'll be inspired to help someone and will doggedly go through with his plans until he's reached his limit, especially if they're someone he has taken a liking to. This sort of persistence is how he ended up with Kyoka. He refused to leave her alone and go back on his word, and he doesn't find her to be unpleasant even with her myriad of problems. More than anyone, he can see the faint glimmers of Kyoka's real self on the rare occasions when they shine, and more than the world, he cherishes those small sparks. He's far too nice and he feels far too much, just like Kyoka does. However, unlike Kyoka, he stays true to his thoughts and feelings. Suigetsu's simplistic solution of doing what he thinks is a quality that Kyoka admires and is determined to protect by any and all means.

A lot of times, Suigetsu's way of doing things gives off the impression that he's going too far, but he very rarely actually overextends past his actual abilities. Suigetsu is fantastic at recognizing his (and others) limits, and while he isn't shy of giving 110%, he also knows that relying on that extra 10% will always be a risk. Most of the time, before setting his mind on something, he quickly assesses if it's really something he can do before throwing himself into it with all he's got. For those tasks and goals that he realizes are out of his reach only after beginning, he pulls back, reassesses for alternatives, and then regretfully admits defeat if there is nothing he can think to do.

It can be hard to see how Suigetsu and Kyoka can be a couple. At least until Suigetsu is told a lie or forced to give one. All the time he's spent exposed to Kyoka's impeccable acting, as well as many lessons given by Kyoka, have made Suigetsu into a formidable lie detector and liar. He's not too fond of using guile to gain the upper hand, though, and about the only time when he is okay with it, is when it's to feign ignorance of another's lie for anything from gaining the upper hand in the information battle to keep the other party from feeling bad for telling a well-intentioned lie. As a result, Suigetsu's lying and lie detecting prowess is rarely displayed.

Shortly after Kagerou's mother and father started talking about wanting a kid, the question of who would stay home to raise the baby came up. It was decided by a spar, which makes sense: best to have the better fighter fight for the village. Kagerou's mother won, just like she had won every other spar since Suigetsu had joined Kirigakure's shinobi forces. Kagerou was mostly raised by her father. Her mother was often out on oinin duty.

Reductions:

Personal Attributes:
• Copyklutz - Suigetsu is an unbearable klutz. Overall lovable, yes, but stumbling, tripping, or otherwise exhibiting extraordinarily uncoordinated movements for a B-rank shinobi on every single mission does quickly become unbearable. However, Suigetsu isn't the type to let something so big stop him from reaching his goals, no matter how sensible it would have been. He's adapted so that he can copy and memorize not just individual techniques but the whole set of movements that combine to create an individual's unique fighting style, allowing him to fight without tripping himself so long as he's copying how someone else fights. This translates into copying an individual's entire set of formless styles into one copy slot that can be shared with one other technique copied from the same individual. The hard mental formless style is used to copy an individual's formless styles, and the Sharingan supplements the copy ability by allowing multiple formless styles to be copied at once from the same individual, halving the number of posts required to copy, and allowing Suigetsu to remember what he has copied for a future battle. An extreme solution, but Suigetsu does suffer a supreme decrease to Reflex when his sharingan is inactive and is incapable of learning any formless styles outside of hard mental. Only when his sharingan is active can he neutralize the negatives by copying the movements of others either in the past or the now. Outside of combat, Suigetsu also has a whole slew of everyday movements he's copied that do not take up any of his copy slots.
• Master Copy - Suigetsu is so reliant on copying that he can copy on the fly, using a copied technique immediately while still having the option to retain knowledge of it for the future. He still requires the minimum number of posts to memorize a copied technique, but this can be done while in combat. Additionally, when copying with hard mental, Suigetsu can move and fight as normal; he does not have to sit still and concentrate.

Weapon Type: Battle Umbrella
Weapon Range: 18" (retracted) - 37" (straight) - 66" (extended)
Weapon Weight: 7lbs.
Weapon Size: Length equal to range; mostly negligible width when closed, but retracted is ~1 in. thicker than straight and extended; 39" diameter when open
Weapon Location: Sheathed on the back
• A durable umbrella. The metal frame is, of course, combat quality, and the canopy is woven steel. Like many of its kind, it can shoot out senbon stored in its ribs and opening/closing it completely doesn't take more than a button press or a quick sweep. Unlike many of its kind, it does more than just open and close, having been custom made to be able to mimic several different kinds of weapons. A hooked handle gives multiple angles to hold the umbrella at. The umbrella can retract into a combat shape to mimic weapons of shorter length. When extended, straight, narrow, and closed, it resembles a sword in size. It is possible for the umbrella to somewhat mimic a shield when open. The umbrella can open even further, turning itself inside out so that it basically "closes" but in the opposite direction, grouping the ends of the ribs together far away from the umbrella's pole. This nearly doubles the reach, mimicking the length of spears and other long weapons. The umbrella is pretty much blunt, the sharpest part being the openings at the ends of the ribs that the senbon shoot through, making the sharpest form the spear form where the ends of the ribs cluster together to create a cluster of sharp points. Biggest weakness of the weapon: durability. It can take a beating, but the mechanisms needed to make the various forms possible on top of the relatively light weight of the weapon to accommodate Suigetsu's not amazing strength means it won't last as long as a single-form weapon wielded by a stronger shinobi.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬
Suigetsu Uchiha was born to florist parents. His father used to teach at the shinobi academy in his younger days, but after marrying, he settled down to sell flowers and other plants. Suigetsu's mother helped with the shop and also earned an income teaching classes on flower arrangement. They lived a tranquil family life, and Suigetsu got to experience a lot of different types of people by just meeting with his relatives, who held vastly different occupations. Many were civilians like his and his family. However, there were others who served Kirigakure's military. These soldiers, having unlocked the trademark bloodline limit of the Uchiha, were always an object of admiration to Suigetsu and the other Uchiha.

However, Suigetsu didn't really aspire to be like those who'd awakened the Sharingan. He was perfectly happy inheriting the shop and lessons. He was clumsy, even as a child, but he could do the work. What's more, he enjoyed it. He liked the peaceful days, and while he couldn't protect the smiles of his fellow villagers as a florist, he was in a very good position to create it. It was a rare person that didn't smile at the sight of flowers.

Suigetsu was happy, but one day, he met a girl who would change his life. He was 13 years old and working in his parent's shop after school. She was 11 years old and had come in to look at the flowers. She was pretty, which was the main reason why Suigetsu started a conversation with her when she entered the flower shop. She was kind, which helped to create an immediate connection between the two. Her name was Kyoka, cherry blossom, which gave Suigetsu something he knew plenty about to talk about. After she left the store that day with her purchase, an armful of uncut flowers to practice flower arrangement, she and him would meet several more times. These meetings were partly by coincidence and partly because both sides intentionally adjusted the odds of meeting the other. Suigetsu figured that if he was going to have to watch the store, he'll try and do it at the times when the girl who was fun to talk to seemed to come. Kyoka figured that if she was going to pick up flowers to use to practice flower arrangement, then she might as well go when the boy who was refreshingly silly seemed to work.

After the first few meetings, during which the two learned little bits and pieces about each other, it was safe to say a friendship had blossomed. Suigetsu started inviting Kyoka to meet outside of their meetings in the shop. She would agree to some, but excuse herself from others on account of being too busy with the training her parents' prescribed to her. Suigetsu understood. He already knew that she intended to enter the academy in a year or two, depending on when she felt ready.

The year passed and Kyoka entered academy. Suigetsu, meanwhile, had finished with the formal education he required and had moved into focusing on honing his flower skills full time. However, he was only 14. He was still plenty young, and while it was a little late, it wasn't too late. At the start of the next school year, Suigetsu found himself enrolled in the shinobi academy as well. Over the course of two years, his friendship with Kyoka had grown strong enough to make him want to try his hand at being part of Kirigakure's military. After all, his parents were still healthy. Suigetsu could be like his dad: be a ninja for a little bit and then retire. There wasn't anything to complain about an Uchiha choosing to hone his skills in defense of the village.

Suigetsu, when he asked his parents for permission to join and in his application to join, said that it was because he wanted to try out what a friend was doing. That was only part of the truth, though. In fact, he had peeked in at how his friend was doing at the academy. She was doing quite well, and she was quite popular. Back then, he had thought he was jealous because she seemed to be having so much fun. Whatever the reason, he knew he was jealous because she was in the academy and he was not, so rather than let the feeling fester, he decided to solve the problem at its core. He registered into the academy to have fun with Kyoka.

Suigetsu graduated with decent scores in everything but physical ability, where he was bottom of the barrel. In fact, he probably only barely graduated because he had displayed such a knack for the sensory arts. Kyoka had already graduated the previous year and was well on her way to becoming a chuunin at the end of her second year as a genin. The two were still friends. In fact, they were closer friends than ever before.

That was why, when Kyoka lost her brother in the line of duty, of course Suigetsu couldn't just leave her alone. Up until then, the ninja life was still only a temporary thing for Suigetsu. However, that night when Kyoka ran to Suigetsu for comfort, he promised her that he would stay with her until the end. He could have easily waved the promise aside as something he had done on the spur of the moment. After all, it was something he had said without thinking. However, that wasn't like him. He could never disappoint a friend like that. Besides, he didn't think it was so bad to stay as a ninja if that meant continuing to see Kyoka smile regularly. When Kyoka, after returning to normal in the days following her brother's funeral, tried to tell Suigetsu that she was grateful for his words and was okay even if didn't really mean them, Suigetsu held firm to his promise and simply told her that he wanted to stay to "give you courage and because you look really lonely."

That was probably when friendship gave way to an actual relationship. The started officially dating, and as they advanced further and further in their careers as ninjas, with the walking disaster Suigetsu somehow only ever a few steps behind the younger Kyoka, Suigetsu gradually found himself as Kyoka's moral and emotional pillar. As in, she relied on his own displays of emotions to guide her own as she sank further and further into the dark and gritty parts of the ninja life. Suigetsu also had to experience the bloody side of shinobi. He and Kyoka both joined the oinin corps, Kyoka first and then Suigetsu soon after. However, he didn't deny his feelings like Kyoka did. As a sensor specialist, he had a whole medley of jobs away from bloody scenes, as well, which probably made it easier to accept the dread of death and recover from it between gory missions. Kyoka didn't have that. Kyoka put her emotions and mental well-being last, her job and duty first because she thought that was how she could best protect those she loved. By the time Kyoka was forced to kill her own sister for betraying Kirigakure, Suigetsu was the only one outside of Kyoka's family to think that her choice could break her further, that it had caused her to suffer. Everyone else only saw someone absolutely loyal to the Mist and her job, someone who had already advanced to the point that she held no regard for family if family happened to be the target.

The disposal of Kyoka's twin sister by her own hands was just at the cusp of 19 and 20 for Kyoka. Shortly after that, Kyoka proposed marriage. The interval was too short. Suigetsu suspected that it was an act she calculated to make it appear that the majority was right, that she did not care for having killed her mirror image. Suigetsu, for his part, joyously accepted despite his suspicions. The two had been talking about marriage, anyways. It was a question of when whether than if.

The marriage ceremony was simple. Suigetsu was bullied by all of his yet bachelor friends. Kyoka had long since lost herself, but the effort she put into her lover's mask was enough for Suigetsu to know that she loved him. As for his lvoe for her? Well, it was all too obvious. Unbearably so. He once ended up messing up Kyoka's entire office because he was trying to set up an impromptu office, and by "entire office" it was literally the whole place: Kyoka's workspace as well as everyone else's. Beyond any disastrous fails, it was made obvious by his constant repetition of the "Kyoka Suigetsu" joke.

For a couple years, there was no baby talk. Suigetsu felt that it was something he should let Kyoka bring up when she was comfortable. Kyoka couldn't work while she was pregnant. However, it eventually happened, courtesy of Kyoka's younger brother, and her only remaining sibling. Without skipping a beat, Kyoka challenged Suigetsu to a spar to see who would raise the baby. He sputtered something about not being able to get pregnant because he was a man, which quickly drew nearly identical disdainful glances from the two siblings.

After that embarrassment was clarified, Suigetsu handedly lost the fight. He continued to work while Kyoka was pregnant and while she recuperated from the pregnancy. However, once she felt she was ready to go, he was handed baby duties immediately. Suigetsu, effectively, retired from his military duties to the village while raising Kagerou. When time permitted, especially as Kagerou grew older, entered school, and otherwise became more capable of taking care of herself, he would perform small jobs for the village or his parents' still-running flower shop.

After Kagerou graduated, Suigetsu started to slowly integrate himself back into his work. It was a good time to do what he had planned to do in the past, take over the flower shop. However, Kyoka was still in the oinin division, so of course Suigetsu couldn't just leave her there. He was old now, for a ninja at least, and he never had a track record admirable enough to be used frequently at his age, much less after a long absence to raise a child. Aside from missions with his wife, one of which luckily removed both of them from the village during the Sero attack that completely decimated the oinin and anbu corps that had been stationed there, his missions were minor and mostly irrelevant or just plain old easy to do.

Therefore, as a mostly retired veteran, maybe it shouldn't have come as such a surprise that Suigetsu was given a squad. It always felt like a risk to trust him in the field, despite his fairly reliable success rate, but he had managed to survive for so long somehow. He had experience, age, and people were generally unwilling to welcome him back onto the front lines after his retirement. All in all, a pretty perfect fit to teach the next generation of shinobi, assuming he didn't become the laughingstock of even genin.

Of course, though, Suigetsu took his appointment as squad leader as a surprise. A really big shock that sent him into a half panic. He'd never taught before, and he was convinced that the notice had just been sent to the wrong Suigetsu. Once he was convinced that the position was for him, he just stared blankly before running to the other Suigetsu anyways. Then he was at the library. Then back to the other Suigetsu. Then to his wife who, deep inside beneath her many layers of masks, found it mildly amusing. In his defense, this notice did just come while he sleeplessly worried over his strangely behaving, gender-swapped daughter's well-being. He wasn't… he wasn't really thinking straight.

Title Rank| Genin. This is just the base rank, received when I met the Mizukage after the time skip following the Sero attack. I would have liked to start at academy, but it was a bit too late, already.

Parentage // Family| Kagerou has a mother and father, both alive and both respectable shinobi in their own right. Both sides of her family have served Kirigakure for generations. In appearance, she takes after her father a lot. She has his green hair and red eyes. There are traces of her mother in her face, body, and gestures, but she's nowhere near the elegant beauty her mother is, whether it's because her father's genes are mixed in or because Kagerou is just too young for that sort of look.

"I'm… a little scared of grandmother and grandfather, actually. They were very strict on me even when I was young, and they still are. I mean, I know now that they were doing it for my own good, and I appreciate everything they've taught me about performing, from musical instruments to tea ceremonies, in place of my mother. Still, when I was a kid, it was just really scary. Uncle, though… I was never scared of uncle even though he was also strict."
Kirishima Family (Mother's side): The Kirishima family has never been large or important enough to garner any recognition. At the moment, there are only two or three families (depending on how they're counted) with the Kirishima name. It has persistently survived as one of the many families supporting Kirigakure ever since its conception. All Kirishima members are expected to serve in Kirigakure's military in some way, shape, or form. Part of the reason why it was never seen as a major force was because the name carries no bloodline or clan secrets. However, its longevity could also be attributed to its lack of bloodline or clan affiliations, since a family that is not seen as powerful is also often not seen as a threat. Taking full advantage of its freedom from any of the restrictions that clans and bloodlines are beset by, the Kirishima has changed and flexed itself through the generations, molding into whatever the village needs and whatever will let the family survive. However, it does hold tenaciously onto one tradition: those of Kirishima blood are performers. Generations of performers have given Kirishimas a natural talent in performance, both mundane and magical, and tradition further encourages descendants to don the role of performer.

Kagerou's mother's direct relatives are her mother and father (Kagerou's grandmother and grandfather), her youngest brother (Kagerou's Uncle Suigetsu), a deceased younger twin sister (who had gone rogue and was killed by Kagerou's mother for crimes against Kirigakure before Kagerou was born), and a deceased older brother (who died young as a loyal chuunin of Kirigakure, also before Kagerou was born).

"I don't really know much about the Uchiha family. They're not really organized like the Aburame family is and my dad was an only child, so I only regularly met with grandma and grandpa. I heard grandpa used to teach academy when he was younger, but when he married grandma, he settled down. Now, they sell really beautiful plants, and grandma hosts flower arranging lessons. I really admire how they're rebuilding their shop after everything Kirigakure has gone through even though they're so old."
Uchiha Family (Father's side): Kirigakure's Uchiha family has been around for generations. However, it has never organized like the Aburama clan has. Not very many in number, the Uchihas are scattered about and partake in various occupations with no direct pressure being put on members to participate in military occupations. Those of the Uchiha family do have a general respect for the sharingan, though, which is generally only unlocked by those who pursue military careers. As a result, the Uchiha who choose to take on the mantle of Kirigakure shinobi tend to be slightly more highly regarded than their peers. There's usually at least a few members of the Uchiha family in the Kirigakure military. However, there have also been years with no Uchiha representation.

Kagerou's father's direct relatives are his mother and father (Kagerou's grandma and grandpa). He does not have any siblings.

"My mom is a bit weird. I guess she is a little broken, but I still love her. When I was young, I didn't even realize anything was wrong, and I think that was because she tried so hard to give me a normal childhood. That's how I know she loves me. Well, that and everything she taught me about music and performing. I took it for granted when I was young, but looking back, it was really impressive that she taught me so much between all of her missions. One day, I want to be her support. I think every kid wants to do that for their parents, though. When I think about it, I think a part of me wanted to become a medic so that in the future, I can help her in addition to supporting her. "
Kyoka Kirishima (Mother; Performer/Puppeteer; no bloodline; Jounin): Since a long time ago, before Kagerou was even conceived, Kyoka has lost herself. A prodigious actor who devoted herself wholly to Kirigakure, she no longer knows who she really is. She's played so many roles, some for months at a time without a single break, that the fake and real sides of her easily mix. On top of that, she was born with Kagerou's kindness. Unlike Kagerou, she chose to master the skills she was most naturally talented in rather than forging her path based on what she wanted as a human. Like Kagerou, these skills were best suited to dealing death, so it was the bloody path she chose to take. In order to complete her missions, Kyoka suppressed her empathy. It was bad enough even with strangers, but she's also had to execute former comrades turned rogue, among which her little sister was one. She broke her kindness, acting like she didn't mind taking any of the lives. Even when the job didn't require her to act or even when she was off-duty, she had to pretend that she was someone who was fine with everything she had to go through. Over time, act and reality blurred together. She lost her real self in all of the roles she played to get through missions and daily life.

Now, Kyoka is an accomplished oinin. A stable and steady worker, even if she is a bit of a mild nut job because of her loss of self. Maybe if she thought too much, then she would crack, but she knows that herself and bears it with shallow smiles and intentional ignorance. Her record is not flawless but there are certainly very few failures in her lengthy history of missions. She is often sent outside of the village to gather information and subdue isolated threats.

As part of her job, Kyoka wears several masks. Her usual façade when she does not need to pretend to be someone else, is what she calls her river mask (she has several others but they're not important enough to mention in something about her daughter). It is mysterious, elegant, and never without a small smile that never changes. The perfect face to hide any self-doubts or PTSD behind. Incidentally, it is also the mask Kyoka dons whenever she reprimands Kagerou. For that reason alone, Kagerou is healthily terrified of this mask.

Even when not on a job, Kyoka is wearing some mask or other. She has a plethora of daily life acts to choose from, after all. It's easy for her to be the doting mother as well as the stern mother and every other mothers. Over and beyond that, she can sew them all together so that there are no cracks in her masks. She is not schizophrenic nor does she act like someone with multiple personality disorder. Between her jobs that frequently send her outside of the village and her mask-based parenting, Kyoka is merely distant. Kagerou grew up with a mother she could rely on learned much from but one that she always felt helpless with because, especially when she was older, she could tell her mother was missing something but she simply didn't know how to support her.

"Kagerou, make sure to eat your vegetables, okay? If you don't, then… Well, hm, I'm not quite sure what. I guess I'll need to find out what I should do. I'll tell you when I learn it, okay?"

"My dad… is also weird… and embarrassing. His jokes are so embarrassing… The worst part is now I'm making them, too. Ugh. They're not even jokes. Just word play. Puns. Also, he keeps on tripping himself trying to help others, literally. I'm grateful for him, though, and I do love him. At least, I'm proud that he's always trying to help someone. I think, if it wasn't for my dad's support when I was a little kid, I wouldn't have had the guts to try and become a medic."
Suigetsu Uchiha (Father; Sensor/Sensor; Sharingan; Jounin): Hyperactive and happy-go-lucky, Suigetsu is a cheesy ball of accidents.

Then he decided that he'd join her in the ninja profession to help "give you courage and because you look really lonely." At around that time, Kyoka had just lost her older brother, so she had plenty of misgivings about the family professions.

"Kyoka, I don't get how you do it. You completely give yourself up for the village. Then you come back home, and instead of relaxing, you put on another act so Kagerou doesn't notice anything weird. I don't think I could exceed my limits like that. Honestly, I don't think you should either, so maybe you should stay at home from now on while I go out and- Wait. Time out! Surprise attacks don-Ow. Ow! Okay, okay. I get it. It won't be permanent. Just-OW! Okay. You're better out there than I am. I give. I give! Just get your new contraption off of me, please. I haven't seen anyone escape it yet so I've got nothing to copy."

"Uncle Suigetsu… He's changed since the monsters and the flood. I was mortified when I heard that auntie and her unborn child had died. I can only guess at what Uncle is feeling. Dad and I try to pay him visits whenever we can. I can't shake off the feeling that he's accepting because he's too polite to refuse us. Mom never comes, even when she's off work, but she always thanks us for going. She doesn't think she'll help with anything. Uncle feels a lot like my mom nowadays. I hope he gets better, or that one day I can help him and Mom."
Suigetsu Kirishima (Uncle/Mother's younger brother; Academy Teacher): Sharing the same name as Kagerou's father (evidently, like Kagerou's father who thought of "Kyoka Suigetsu" when wooing her mother, Suigetsu's and Kyoka's parents were thinking of the same phrase when naming their children), Uncle Suigetsu was the go-to babysitter when both Kagerou's mother and father were needed. Kagerou is actually more likely to think of her uncle before her father whenever someone mentions a "Suigetsu."

A stern and responsible man, he had a no-nonsense attitude even with younger children. However, he made sure they were safe and was slightly more generous with them than he was with adults. He is a superb actor, just like his sister, and can act as anything should the job call of it, even a careless, no-good hobo, the very opposite of everything he was. However, he doesn't consider teaching students a job. It's a task that he is happy to be a part of, so he doesn't pretend to be anything. He… wasn't very lucky during the great disaster that struck Kiri. He survived by virtue of his job, keeping the students safe and thus keeping himself safe, but his wife died during the whole fiasco. She was pregnant with their first child and the tragedy still haunts him. He's returned to teaching the students and the rest of his daily routine. Recovery is slow, though, and it still feels like he's acting even when teaching the academy students, acting like his old self.

Kagerou never had her uncle as a teacher in academy. However, he often tutored her and helped her with learning materials above and beyond what academy assigned her--Kagerou very rarely needed help with school assignments. Whenever Kagerou's mother and father were unable to look after her, Uncle Suigetsu would be the person to call and keep an eye on Kagerou. He was the go-to babysitter when Kagerou was too young to take care of herself and the go-to person to ask for help or call in emergencies when Kagerou was old enough to stay at home alone.

"Suigetsu, please stop tracking me. I am fine, I swear. Although, I must say I am disappointed that you are following me when you could be checking in on your daughter, Kagerou. She has been reinstated as a genin again, right? You should… make sure she's safe. Kyoka, too. I heard she is still taking those missions? Although, I doubt you are able to stop her."

Emotional Side| Calm and reliable with the ability to take on subtly different masks to suit different situations are what Kagerou strives to be. She's a long ways off from that goal, though. At the same time, she is still quite happy with the person she currently is. Then again, very little gets Kagerou down or holds her back.

Perfectly Normal: Kagerou is rather normal. She has likes and dislikes. She even has loves and hates. Although, she doesn't frequently dabble in the extremes of the emotional spectrum. However, neither is she freakishly calm. She feels emotion like any other emotionally healthy human. She can also reign in those emotions when she needs to, again, like any other emotionally healthy human. However, like any normal person, there will also be times when she cannot stop her emotions from flooding or muster the energy to get her emotions started. It's all just normal. She had the good fortune to not be plagued with the traumas and miscellaneous emotional baggage many others have.

Hakuna Matata: A big contributor to her lack of emotional baggage is Kagerou's peaceful childhood. Not the type to get overly anxious, she's always easily let go of mistakes from herself and others. Grudges are an incredibly rare thing for Kagerou to hold. Self-blame lies in the same boat. Both just take way too much necessary energy to hold up and do very little to make anyone's life better. Moreover, she makes sure that every moment and decision in the present counts, so that she knows, in the future, that she did the best that she could muster in the past. Kagerou lives life looking forward and makes it a point to not let her worries drag her down.

Subtly Calm: It's hard to notice at first with all the talking and smiling Kagerou does, but she's actually the calm type. She may have a lot of energy and enjoy a good bit of fun, but she excitement rarely clouds her thoughts, and when it does, she always clears it away as soon as possible. The same goes for any emotion she feels. Even in the face of overwhelming fear and disgust, as she experienced during the Sero's rampage and the nightmare of Halloween, she could at least recognize what the emotions were doing to her thoughts and think her way through the mental distractions. Fear, for Kagerou, is a daunting but not impassable obstacle. This almost unnatural calm is like something natural for Kagerou. Since she was a child, she was a patient and thoughtful one. Her training only enhanced these traits of hers.

Moderation and Temperance: Moderation is the avoidance of excess or extremes. Temperance is self-restraint. These are two principles that Kagerou consciously holds herself to, but without betraying the sides of her that believe in fun and relaxation. When asked for advice, Kagerou's answer will usually fall in line with either moderation or temperance. However, personally, there are plenty of times when she'll deviate. It's hard to hold to an ideal, after all.

Happy Smiles: Kagerou's mother taught her that smiles are a disarming weapon. Medically, a smile may be all that's needed to brighten someone's day. Smiling is also a good way to regulate emotions. It's hard to become angry while smiling, after all. Those are really just excuses, though. Kagerou just likes to smile. Being a natural optimist, she's usually happy enough.

Invasive Hugs: Touchy. Touchy. Feely. Feely. Kagerou often forgets about personal space. She'll lean in too close (or just outright lean on a person) without batting an eye. She also has a penchant for hugging whenever it's kind of more than marginally appropriate. She doesn't really have any problems with crowded places or being smushed, so she usually forgets to consider how others might feel with having their personal space invaded. Luckily for those that dislike physical contact, this obliviousness only goes on for as long as Kagerou doesn't know. Once told, she usually keeps it in mind and limits her hugging to when it really matters. Don't blame her for pouting when she can't get a hug from an anti-hugger, though.

Pacifist Medic: There's certainly more to it than just peace-lover, but that's what Kagerou boils down to. She's only ever heard bad things about war and only ever seen bad things come from fighting. Talk always comes first for Kagerou, unless someone is hurt. In that case, medical attention comes first. She dislikes seeing people hurt and her heart wrenches at the sight of an injury. It's even worse when she sees the injury occur. She can only bear hurting others because, well, it's been what she's been trained to do since she was young. She'll do it… unwillingly. Really, Kagerou is both proud and ashamed of this side of her. She believes that what she's doing, thinking of the well-being of all parties, is the right thing to do. At the same time, already she's seen her hesitation extend the suffering for her allies.

Musical Diligence: Learning music is hard. While not physically exhausting, it requires hours upon hours of practice, day after day. Even for a music lover like Kagerou, for whom music practically runs through her veins, most of the practice would be dull and required significant discipline to complete. Since graduating academy, Kageoru no longer needs to hold her to such a rigid regimen, but she abandoned the daily practice knowing that she is unlikely to ever significantly improve without it. Kagerou carries this concentration, discipline, and understanding that dedication is required for improvement into all of her endeavors. She might not be an overachiever, at least not intentionally, but she's certainly a hard-working achiever.

Natural Wonder: Kagerou holds an inexhaustible wonder for the natural wonder. Flora and fauna alike enchant her. Once when she just a kid lost in the misty forests of Kirigakure, rather than crying, she wandered around entranced by the mist-covered trees. In her love for nature, Kagerou learned to notice the little things, to appreciate the smallest bits of life or find beauty in the simplest movements of the wild. It's given her an eye for detail in finding the good and happy moments in the world.

Honest Secrets: Kagerou utterly fails at lying. Incidentally, she is also terrible at acting. It would be incredibly embarrassing, as her mother's daughter, but she also can't work puppets for her life. As a result, her lack of acting talent sort of just falls into the pit of everything else she can't do like her mother. Besides, there's no point in worrying about it. Kagerou isn't really fond of the idea of lying, either. As her mother's daughter, she certainly recognizes its uses and holds a certain respect for those who lie flawlessly. However, as an aspiring medic, she has built up a distaste for lying herself. Behind the honesty, though, lies a steel-willed secret keeper. Keeping secrets, or rather carefully choosing what information to reveal, has been something she has been tasked with for as long as she can remember. It's no secret that Uchiha eyes are valuable, and while Kagerou still hasn't unlocked them yet, her parents were careful in preparing her for the future. Initially, all Kagerou had to learn was to withhold her surname for as long as possible. Naturally, she extended her skills far past that. For a little bit, after Kagerou firmly stated that she didn't want to follow in her mother's path, she stopped working on the art of half-truths and missing information. However, after a certain point in her medical studies, she was reintroduced to the value of keeping secrets, i.e. keeping personal medical records private knowledge. When all attempts to subtly leave out information or lead conversations into other topics fail, Kagerou is, at the very least, very good at keeping her mouth shut.

Intuitive Perception: Kagerou has an eye for detail and a mind that's fantastic at combining floating thoughts into concrete conclusions. Growing up with a chronic liar of a mother has certainly also greatly helped her ability to detect liars.

Humble Underestimation: Kagerou prefers to think of it as a realistic view of her skills, but chances are, she's just outright underestimating her abilities. It's hard to say where this mild lack of confidence comes from. Kagerou isn't the anxious type, nor does she second-guess her actions. She'll never outright say or even think that she doesn't think she's good enough to do something, but she'll probably set her limits at a lower bar than they actually are. It probably stems from back when she started to focus on her medical training. She did quite well, but it wasn't her best field, either, so the slower pace of progress could have left her with a lingering feeling of inadequacy.

Justifications|

Kagerou's reason is about as boring as it is. She became a shinobi because her parents and their parents and their parents' parents were. It might be unacceptable to press gang children into the profession, but with how young some of the students in ninja academy can be, it's not strange for children of shinobi to be admitted into the school before they're really old enough to make their own decisions. Kagerou is one of those, and she decided to keep at it. It's not for a lack of options. She's dabbled in plenty of other things, primarily music thanks to her mother's specialization and fighting style. She's also run around a lot doing miscellaneous jobs, particularly after the destruction of Kirigakure. Feeling more inclined to help the village with its more immediate needs than to train in case of any attacks while it was weak, Kagerou filled in for a multitude odd jobs. Many of them were at the hospital, with even some direct medical experience, in the early days of reconstruction, when there were far more wounded than trained medics, doctors, and nurses. After the initial surge of injured, though, Kagerou spent less time at the hospital and more time helping move supplies across the water via gondola. All in all, Kagerou is still rather young and her reason for joining the ninja ranks is rather unspectacular, but she (probably) has enough experience trying other things to feel confident in sticking to the decision her parents made. On top of her experience, she has the wealth of knowledge that her parents, grandparents, and uncle have imparted to her about the job.

Goals|
Kagerou became a ninja to make her parents and family proud. She holds to that notion still, but it is hardly the only motivation she has.

In academy, Kagerou displayed talent for just about everything in the curriculum. Like her parents, she showed a particular aptitude for stealth and espionage, which combined with her other scores showed potential for a very potent assassin in the future. However, Kagerou was anything but the type of person that could kill on an order. She preferred to help and heal. While she was initially unsure about not utilizing her natural talents to the fullest, with her dad's support, she strove to be a medic so that she could save as many lives as possible. She would like the world to be a better place, and believes that such a lofty dream is best worked towards through simple means stemming from individual efforts. To this day, she holds on to that belief, and does what she can to make her parents proud and help make the world even just a little brighter.

The path Kagerou walks as a performer doesn't have any less motivation than the path she walks as a medic, though. A big part of her reason for the performer class is shared with her reason for being a medical specialist. In-battle, there's not much joy a performer can bring, but by being a performer, Kagerou can focus on practicing performances that can bring smiles and ease the pain of loss. There's also the fact that Kagerou enjoys music. She enjoys literature, puppet shows, dances, prayers, ceremonies, rituals, and all other sorts of performances. Performance is in her blood, in her upbringing, and in her hobbies. Kagerou is a performer because she enjoys it and she'd like to use it to help others if she can.

Hobbies| Music, long walks in nature, reading, gardening, naps.

Favorite Spot(s)| Anywhere with nature, especially if its wooded. Kagerou wants to try playing music or reading a book on one of the Sero's upper branches but hasn't tried because they are (or at least she thinks they are) off limits. It would make sense considering how strong the winds must be at that height. For Kagerou, the silver lining in everything disastrous that happened is that the Sero has become the center of the village. She gets to literally live in a giant a tree, and she finds that awesome even with all the information going around about how the Sero spawned the monsters. The people who probably know best have deemed it safe enough and Kagerou somehow feels sure that the tree didn't mean to kill so many people.

Historical Events| Family played a big part in Kagerou's life. There wasn't anything else too interesting, after all. Well, after Kagerou turned genin, she faced a lot of interesting things, but she's barely recovered from the first one when the second terror struck. She hasn't had the time to really integrate those frights into her character.

Family Life: Kagerou was born to two loving parents, Kyoka the mother and Suigetsu the father. She learned from a very young age that a bloodline, even one with as much of a reputation as the Sharingan, meant nothing. It was an inevitable lesson even without her father constantly attempting to beat her mother in a spar to get her to settle down and mentally recover while he went out and earned the money for the family. He never won once. Because neither Kagerou's mother nor father wanted to raise her without at least one parent staying at home, he was relegated to house husband duty.

As Suigetsu was an absolutely clutz even around the house, it was hard for even Kagerou to really find anything admirable about him. She loved her father, truly, but for most of her early years, it was love for all the effort he put into taking care of her. Appreciation? Definitely. Respect? Of a sort. Reliable? Not at all. He did teach her a lot, adding on to what she learned at school. Kagerou learned a lot of music and performance from her mother's side of the family, but practically everything else she learned was from her father: common bloodlines and their information, general make-up of Kirigakure, tips for using chakra, and even basic weapon usage.

However, it wasn't until the later years in academy that Kagerou really saw her father as a pillar of support she could rely on. Much like her mother, Kagerou was well on the way to becoming an assassin, but the more she learned about what the job entailed, the more hesitant she became over the path her talents suggested. To the outside, the choice to be a medical specialist seemed like a natural decision for 11 year old Kagerou to make. After all, it was what she wanted and she had the talents for it, even if she had better prospects as an assassin. However, Kagerou struggled hard with the decision, uncertain if it was right to choose what she wanted over what she was good at. If it hadn't been for her father's support, she may have well decided to ignore her personal feelings on the matter. There were several father-daughter talks, some long and some short. Other events transpired. Kagerou bordered a crying fit at one point, but her father just held her and told her that it would be alright to do what she wanted. She should just focus on making decisions that she wouldn't regret. Kagerou learned a lot about her father through it all, mainly everything he had to overcome in order to stand beside her mother. He had the strength of will and determination to reach jounin despite his perpetual clumsiness. In a way, it was impressive and it made Kagerou feel like she could rely on her father a lot more than she was used to.

With her mother, Kagerou can't remember not respecting her. She didn't want to be a disappointment to either parent, but she was definitely more motivated to not disappoint her mother. Her mother was strong, beautiful, graceful, kind, and everything else Kagerou could ever want to be. Kagerou dreamed of being like her mother, and was indescribably happy whenever someone compared her achievement's to her mother's. At least, that was Kagerou's first impression of her. As she grew older, she began to recognize the small chinks in her mother's acts, the minuscule cracks that Kagerou only had a chance at noticing because she was her mother's daughter. There were doubts and multiple moments of reminiscing about the other strange things Kyoka had done in the past. Kagerou's mind started working. When she realized that she didn't want to be an assassin like her mother, Kagerou had picked up the final piece. Talking out her problem with her dad, and finding that her mom couldn't give her any advice to help, placed that last piece. Driven into the same corner that her mother had once been in, Kagerou understood. She didn't know everything, but she knew enough that without her father, she probably would have ended up as broken as her mother.

Kagerou respected her mother no less after learning the truth. Kyoka was still strong, beautiful, graceful, and kind in Kagerou's eyes, but Kagerou recognized that her mother wasn't perfect. Kyoka needed help and support like any other human, two things Kagerou had been giving in copious amounts to her obviously problematic dad but had never once thought to give to her mother. That year, eleven year old Kagerou had a rude introduction to the masks that people, like her mother, will sometimes wear. Her mother only meant well, but it wasn't hard to realize that there will be others that meant harm. The next, Kagerou had become accustomed to reading through her mother's mask, but only to find that there was nothing to read. As the final year for academy approached, Kagerou promised herself that she would one day become knowledgeable enough in the medical arts to somehow help her mother.

Academy Life: Despite the big fuss made about it all, Kagerou had a rather peaceful home life. Her academy life was the same. She had an edge in grades because her parents, like many other ninja parents, had previewed with her a lot of the academy's material. Kagerou was also never shy of making use of the school's resources, no doubt because her uncle taught at the academy. Although, he was never her teacher. Good study habits, being a naturally fast learner, and a supportive home and school environment added up to good grades for Kagerou across the board. Her highest scores leaned towards certain jobs, but she could have touched on just about anything she felt like. It just required a bit more work. Never one to unnecessarily bother others, Kagerou never brought up the huge dilemma she faced when she decided she didn't want to do what she was best in. She didn't lie about it either. She simply never brought it up and, while it was a pivotal moment in her life, it wasn't something that created a huge emotional response besides a fair bit of stress. Teachers and classmates alike never really noticed the struggle Kagerou went through. Neither was there a big hoo-hah when Kagerou decided to change her future goals. She moved on to graduate near the top of her class.

Genin Life: Genin life was cool. Kagerou became a genin. Then the Sero attacked. She didn't even have a squad yet.

Sero Life: Kagerou's first order of business during the Sero attack was to help the village. Her second order of business was to figure out how. The second order, despite being less important, naturally came before the first. In a jumbled fumble, Kagerou tried her best to weave together helping and learning, squeezing her way into medical tents to attend to the lesser wounded patients that the doctors simply didn't have time for.

Just when everything seemed to be going fine and dandy--Kagerou had even gotten into a rhythm--the monsters reached the safe zone Kagerou was working in. Duty-bound, Kagerou stood her ground despite all of her misgivings. The fight that followed ended successfully with zero casualties on her side, but the all-too human dying scream of the monsters would haunt her dreams for months.

The village flooded soon after the monster's defeat, and Kagerou was one of the lucky few to survive everything: destruction, monsters, flood.

Reconstruction Life: As fate would have it, Kagerou and her immediate family survived. She was one of the luckiest, really, which is why she pushed herself harder than anyone. The nightmares haunted her like so many others, but she drudged her way through them all, actively working on leaving them behind no matter how tightly they clung. She would smile when she didn't feel like smiling, mustering a strong face to lend strength to those who needed it more.

Like a lot of other people, Kagerou found solace in work. She eagerly joined the post-disaster medical effort. When fewer and fewer people came in seeking medical attention as order was resettled in the village, Kagerou joined the rather large group of people working to ship around supplies to the little islands that had become the new land of Kirigakure. She learned how to maneuver a gondola in that time. She even made it a habit of giving people who looked troubled rides in her boat whenever she wasn't using it to ship goods.

What Kagerou did not do was practice her ninja arts as much as she should have been. "Practice makes perfect" is a phrase Kagerou knows well. However, she still chose to neglect the skills most integral to her chosen career. Her reasons may sound like an excuse, but they are no lie. She placed the well-being of the village over practicing skills for a position that had not yet been reopened. As much as Kagerou recognized the importance of some semblance of military power in the troubled times following a village-wiping disaster, she couldn't place military power over the well-being of the citizens. At least until the village had a roof over its head, Kagerou was determined to devote her all into being a productive civilian. She actually quite enjoyed the change of pace, all things considered. Being the amiable, down-to-earth type, Kagerou always did have a good relationship with her neighbors. The same applied with those that worked besides her to rebuild the village.

Squad Life: The best part about the new housing, once it was done, was that it was in the Sero, which was just awesomely cool to Kagerou. After a short mission that reinstated her genin rank, Kagerou was placed into one of these new apartments. Her roommates were her squad mates. Well, technically, one squad mate and the Mizukage, who was her teacher but Kagerou still isn't accustomed to the thought of being taught by the village's highest authority.

In the office prior to her squad assignment, Kagerou had met a rather strange fellow and his stranger spider, Kumotake and Sukos. Her squad mate, who she met in the apartment, was just as interesting. Takeda, the squad mate, and Kagerou met a temporary teammate, Nozomi. The three were given instructions for their first mission, explore Jack's Island. Brimming with youthfulness, they went their separate ways to prepare, promising to meet each other at the docks… that faced away from their island objective.

Nightmare Life: No time to worry about questionable meeting places, though. Another terror struck. With the village not even fully rebuilt, a giant foot was now threatening to smash it. If Kagerou had any time to think, she would probably like to hide under a blanket right about now. Too bad there are monsters (again) and now Takeda is some weird tentacle thing that's being infected at a shockingly rapid pace. Just thank the lucky stars that Kagerou doesn't have enough time to remember that she's scared of ghosts or else that'd be terrible.

Known Secrets| There's not many secrets about Kagerou. She doesn't have anything to hide and she's a terrible liar, anyways. What secrets she has are of little consequence and very rarely considered as even possible for someone of her character.

Kagerou is a sweet girl. She's never experienced genuine hardship but hasn't been raised to be a spoiled brat, either. A rare specimen of child rearing done right because, after all, ninjas are also human and their children can be just like a civilian's, i.e. not full of angst and vengeance. However, it's important to remember that Kagerou does come from a long history of ninjas. She inherited both natural talents and a rigorous training regimen meant to raise her into a valuable combat asset in addition to everything the academy taught her. Her receiving top grades in the academy was no fluke, after all. She's still a rather bad actor, of course, and there's nothing in her ever constant smile that's a lie. However, just because Kagerou is nice doesn't mean she can't easily list the clans and bloodlines that reside in the Water Country along with their general abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. She might shrink away from the logic that a ninja protects by killing, but you'll be hard-pressed to find another genin that can ready for a mission faster than her. Well, so long as the other party actually has to pack anything. Sort of hard to beat someone who doesn't need to get ready in the first place. This isn't to say that her personality and behaviors are all a façade, though, because on top of the focused career development was the genuine parental love and support that cultivated Kagerou's sweetness.

Kagerou's natural talents, according to her academy scores and tests, lean more towards assassinations and other offensive tasks, just like her mother, rather than her chosen path of helping and healing. The traits that form this advantage are described as a flexible body, nimble movements, eye for detail, quick wits, naturally disarming charm, and a knack for quickly learning how to be deadly with various ninja tools. However, with hard work, determination, and choosing to sacrifice the offensive arts for the healing ones, she's now definitely better at bandaging wounds than creating them. She's lost a lot of the nimbleness she had as a young child and her body is no longer as supple. The eye for detail and quick wit have all been focused on practicing medicine. Kagerou's aptitude for learning how to use weapons has been applied to learning how to use medical tools instead. The natural charm was never really impactful, especially without training. All in all, any gifts for death Kagerou may have had as a child are lost, and the past is now just a rather embarrassing part of her life that Kagerou dislikes bringing up.

Unknown Secrets| Regular secrets are rare for Kagerou. Unknown secrets just about don't exist, except there is one that Kagerou goes to notable lengths to keep hidden. Like her known secrets, though, her unknown secret poses no threat or harm to anyone.

Kagerou studies how to kill just as much as she studies how to save a life. Although, it is focused in the fields she's chosen to specialize in, namely medicine, so she's still neglecting the natural talents she had as an assassin when she was young. It doesn't align with her personal code to let others know that she knows all of the minute fatal points on the body and that she can turn a healing session into a killing session. No one asks her either, and she likes to keep it that way. She only goes through these unsavory studies because she feels like it's part of her duty as a ninja. As much as possible, she takes precautions to keep these studies hidden just because reading the material makes her feel very uncomfortable, a little dirty even. She uses normal and sensible routines, like pulling the curtains over her windows at night, to keep stray eyes from happening to notice. Because her parents, her mother especially, are shinobi, she has the perfect cover for gathering the occasional text on the subject. Most importantly, the secret is so unlike Kagerou to study that no one thinks to suspect her of it. ANBU could probably easily find out, but what do they care about what a meager genin reads?
