07.01.13 Quest set up. 07.02.13 Added raevan profile (adapted from flatsale entry).
"Known as a particularly stable poor metal, bismuth is relatively common. This particular piece of bismuth is crystalline and exhibits the characteristic rainbow sheen when light reflects off of it, but is also very different from the many others in existence. Its shape is constantly changing, shifting, like a restless child who cannot sit still. It is constantly reabsorbing and growing new crystals, and never ceases in its almost obsessive movement. Due to its very high diamagnetism, it floats in its glass jar and seems to repel small objects that are placed near it."
Bismuth is a brittle metal with a white, silver-pink hue, often occurring in its native form, with an iridescent oxide tarnish showing many colors from yellow to blue. The spiral, stair-stepped structure of bismuth crystals is the result of a higher growth rate around the outside edges than on the inside edges. The variations in the thickness of the oxide layer that forms on the surface of the crystal causes different wavelengths of light to interfere upon reflection, thus displaying a rainbow of colors. When burned in oxygen, bismuth burns with a blue flame and its oxide forms yellow fumes. Its toxicity is much lower than that of its neighbors in the periodic table, such as lead, antimony, and polonium.
No other metal is verified to be more naturally diamagnetic than bismuth. (Superdiamagnetism is a different physical phenomenon.) Of any metal, it has one of the lowest values of thermal conductivity (after manganese, and maybe neptunium and plutonium) and the highest Hall coefficient.a It has a high electrical resistance. When deposited in sufficiently thin layers on a substrate, bismuth is a semiconductor, rather than a poor metal.

PERSONALITY
- Constantly moving, but smooth and relaxed instead of jittery.
- Might constantly flap/move wings or "shift weight."
- Energetic and lively, but not over the top or hyperactive. - Fickle, can be indecisive and easily distracted.
- Can get bored easily, seeks novelty and embraces change.
- Pushes unwanted/boring things/people away. - Friendly and warm, but maintains some amount of distance with most people.
- Doesn't quite let people in, unless they feel very comfortable.
POWERS/TRAITS
- Shape Shifting (Active): Taken from the essence's constant movement and change in structure, the Raevan is able to shift its shape and appearance. It can be slightly unsettling to watch the process, as it resembles blocks moving and shifting and settling together again to form the new image. The Raevan is only able to change above the start of its ribbon. The amount of effort and intensity of change depends on skill and stage, as well. As a Frei, the changes would be relatively small or subtle and would take quite a bit of effort to maintain for long periods of time. As a Sigel there would be more area to work with, and the changes could be greater and last longer without more effort. At the Valsaros stage the act of shifting would be natural and take very little effort, and the entire body is able to be changed. Despite all changes, the Raevan's default and usually preferred appearance would be that of the image on its cert.
- Force Fields (Active): As a result of the high diamagnetism found in bismuth, the Raevan is able to create small force fields. These are not so much defensive as offensive, used to push things and people away. As a Frei the force is small, coming across more like a nudge and its strength relative to the weight of an object. As the Raevan grows, its power would increase and they may be able to throw extremely heavy objects long distances or manipulate the magnetic fields around objects other than itself.
- Iridescence (Passive): The Raevan puts off a certain look of iridescence and sheen, especially when in direct sunlight. It's not blinding, and certainly not very obvious, but when the Raevan has just fed it is especially noticeable. Hunger and/or deprivation results in dulled colors and a lack of "glow" to the skin, almost like a sick human.
FOOD
- Iridescence (Primary): The Raevan feeds off of the sheen found on the surface of bismuth, but from any source available. The most common choice is oil when in direct sunlight. After feeding, the source becomes dull and flat, but eventually the iridescence returns because the material itself is naturally iridescent. However, this is not an infinite source of nourishment. For example, the Raevan cannot feed more than once from the same puddle of oil.
- Growth/Change (Secondary): As a back-up, the Raevan can also feed off of the change in size, shape, or orientation of objects and plants. Given that this is a much less convenient and accessible food source, it is unfortunately, more of a treat or delicacy when they can find it. For example, if the Raevan notices a new sprout on a plant or walks by a construction project every so often, they get the same feeling as if a human had eaten a small little indulgent treat. This food source is not readily available, since the nutrient quality diminishes greatly if the Raevan creates the growth or change themselves. Simply rearranging furniture or building different things out of Lego blocks will only be like eating a cracker or two.
EARTHBOUND NEBULA (Suggested by the lovely ex o ex Snoof!)
"On a dark night in a forest in the North, a strange cloud of multicolored fog was found. Upon closer inspection, Dr. Kyou discovered that the little cluster was actually a miniature nebula! The cloud of stardust and miniature young stars continues to swirl and float in the glass jar as if it were lost in the deep of outer space and even emits its own colorful light just like its enormous celestial cousins."
A nebula (from Latin: "cloud"; pl. nebulae or nebulæ, with ligature, or nebulas) is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases. Originally, nebula was a name for any diffuse astronomical object, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way. The Andromeda Galaxy, for instance, was referred to as the Andromeda Nebula (and spiral galaxies in general as "spiral nebulae") before the true nature of galaxies was confirmed in the early 20th century by Vesto Slipher, Edwin Hubble and others.
Most nebulae are of vast size, reaching sizes of even hundreds of light years in diameter. Although denser than the space surrounding them, most nebulae are far less dense than any vacuum created in an Earthern environment - a nebular cloud the size of the Earth would weigh only a few kilograms.
Nebulae are often star-forming regions, such as in the Eagle Nebula. This nebula is depicted in one of NASA's most famous images, the "Pillars of Creation". In these regions the formations of gas, dust, and other materials "clump" together to form larger masses, which attract further matter, and eventually will become massive enough to form stars. The remaining materials are then believed to form planets, and other planetary system objects.
From Wikipedia.
SYMBOLISM OF STARS
- Unknown, misunderstandings. - Distant, unattainable things. - Associated with magic. - Divine guidance, guardianship, hope. - Paths leading to the heavens, messengers of the gods. - Heavenly bodies, purity, good luck. - Light in the darkness. - Faith, navigation. - Protection against evil. - Honor, achievement, divinity, intuition. - Represent ambitions and desires.
PERSONALITY
POWERS/TRAITS
- Starstuff (Trait): As light shifts around them, the Raevan appears to shimmer much like their essence did. This is obviously more apparent in direct light, but they also seem to glow faintly at night, as if they'd been sprinkled with a very fine glitter. If you look closely enough, tiny specks of light can be seen in the Raevan's eyes, especially in their pupils and irises.

NYMPH Artwork by Charles-Amable Lenoir
A nymph (Greek: νύμφη, nymphē) in Greek mythology and in Latin mythology is a minor female nature deity typically associated with a particular location or landform. There are 5 different types of nymphs, Celestial Nymphs, Water Nymphs, Land Nymphs, Plant Nymphs and Underworld Nymphs. Different from goddesses, nymphs are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are usually depicted as beautiful, young nubile maidens who love to dance and sing; their amorous freedom sets them apart from the restricted and chaste wives and daughters of the Greek polis. They are believed to dwell in mountains and groves, by springs and rivers, and also in trees and in valleys and cool grottoes. Although they would never die of old age nor illness, and could give birth to fully immortal children if mated to a god, they themselves were not necessarily immortal, and could be beholden to death in various forms. Charybdis and Scylla were once nymphs.
Other nymphs, always in the shape of young maidens, were part of the retinue of a god, such as Dionysus, Hermes, or Pan, or a goddess, generally the huntress Artemis. Nymphs were the frequent target of satyrs. They are frequently associated with the superior divinities: the huntress Artemis; the prophetic Apollo; the reveller and god of wine, Dionysus; and rustic gods such as Pan and Hermes.
From Wikipedia.
PERSONALITY
- Flirty and charismatic, but often plays coy.
- Can be manipulative to get what they want or simply for amusement.
- Vibrant and outgoing, open to new adventures and spontaneity. - Can be vain and narcissistic, very concerned with appearances. - Fickle, gets bored easily. - Hedonistic, mostly out for themselves and does what they want when they want.
- Can be selfish at times, especially when making choices. - If denied or frustrated, can be pouty or irritable. - Drawn to luxury and beauty in all forms.
- Disobedient if disinterested, can be stubborn. - Curious and seeks knowledge, but can unfortunately be nosy. - Very aesthetically driven (materialistic, picky). - Judgmental and critical, especially of appearances.
- Usually will not volunteer judgments unless prompted or provoked, especially to the subject. - Prone to gossip, especially about those they dislike.
- Playful and mischievous, enjoys teasing others and playing small pranks. - Will always be honest, even brutally so, but very often tries to be gentle to people who are especially fragile.
POWERS/TRAITS
- Affinity (Passive → Active): What initially appears as a gifted green thumb with plants as a Frei actually develops into an ability to control them! Anything the Raevan plants tends to do very well, and lasts considerably longer. As their magic grows stronger, their level of control will naturally increase. At later stages, they will even be able to use vines to grasp and throw things! However, they can only affect plants that are rooted in soil, potted or otherwise.
- Fairy Ring (Undecided): Whenever their ribbon touches soil, a small patch of flowers and grass will pop up. As such, they tend to have a great love of touching the ground when hovering over grass or soil, and like to create trails by moving around. This requires a very high magic stat, so this will be edited (perhaps into an active power that requires effort and energy) or removed if they do not have one.
-Floral Note (Passive): The Raevan naturally produces a light floral scent at all times, which can be calming or therapeutic to others.
FOOD
- Photosynthesis: Because nymphs are nature-based entities, the Raevan is able to draw nourishment from the sun much like a plant. This would be a secondary food source, given that it comes from the soul instead of the essence.
- Natural Habitat More of an energizer than an actual food source, simply being in a natural environment provides the Raevan with a "refresh" of sorts. This is equivalent to getting a good night's sleep, not necessarily a meal. Powers and other traits are slightly more powerful in these settings, as well. Unfortunately, this also results in the Raevan being unable to withstand long periods of being cooped up inside. A day or two is alright, but a week would result in a sort of cabin fever: irritability, fatigue, and diminished power.
JELLYFISH (Atlantic Sea Nettle OR Moon Jellyfish)
Chrysaora quinquecirrha (commonly named the Atlantic sea nettle or East Coast sea nettle) is a widely distributed species of jellyfish that inhabits tropical and subtropical parts of the Atlantic and Indo-Pacific. It is frequently seen along the East Coast of the United States, such as the Chesapeake Bay. It is smaller than the Pacific sea nettle, and has more variable coloration, but is typically pale, pinkish or yellowish, often with radiating more deeply colored stripes on the exumbrella, especially near the margin.
---
The moon jelly is any jellyfish of the genus Aurelia, especially A. aurita and A. labiata.
They are common to the waters off California, Japan, the East Coast of the United States as well as Europe. The animal can be large (up to 15 cm across), translucent and often considered beautiful for the patterns of color within its body. It feeds by stinging small medusans, plankton and mollusks with its tentacles and bringing them into its body for digestion, but is capable of only limited motion; like other jellies it drifts with the current.(Aurelia aurita)
The jellyfish is translucent, usually about 25–40 cm (10–16 in) in diameter, and can be recognized by its four horseshoe-shaped gonads, easily seen through the top of the bell. It feeds by collecting medusae, plankton, and mollusks with its tentacles, and bringing them into its body for digestion. It is capable of only limited motion, and drifts with the current, even when swimming.

SYMBOLISM/PERSONALITY
- Inner strength. - Vulnerability, transparency. - Truth. - Acceptance, faith. - Sensitivity to emotions. - Proper use of softness, not being too rigid. - Go with the flow, fighting fate is not always good. - Balance, serenity. - Quiet and submissive, but brilliant in the right light. - May strike out, but are typically quiet and keep to themselves. - Deeply intellectual. - Sting is a warning: Don't get to close unless willing to get hurt. - Independent and instinctive, incredible intuition. - Elegant and discrete. - Skilled at logical dissection and examination. - "Sixth sense" into subconscious of others. - Dedicated to unique and creative approach to life. - Sensitive to changes in weather. - Enjoy being social but will pull back if unsatisfied/pointless. - Care about those close to them, but can be opinionated, possessive, and even manipulative. - Can be judgmental. - Will not be fake or create hype around themselves to stand out.
- Find their niche, will stand out naturally.
POWERS/TRAITS
- Poison (Active, but instinctive): The Raevan naturally produces venom like a jellyfish, and is fully able to use it to defend themselves or attack. Very often this is defensive, provoked by surprise or a threat of some sort, but they will engage it voluntarily if needed. The venom itself is not deadly, but does cause pain and may leave a rash or scar if the sting is large enough. (Depending on design, this may come from actual tentacles or pseudo-tentacles, or even from simple skin contact).
FOOD
- Water: Though the Raevan can physically drink water, they receive much more nourishment and refreshment from simply soaking in water, and are especially fond of cool baths. As jellyfish are aquatic animals, the Raevan needs to soak in water at least every other day, and will quickly become weak and tired/grumpy if this schedule is not kept. Salt water is more effective than fresh water, and it could be argued that the Raevan feeds on the salt as well, but any sort of water will work. In the event that a soak is unavailable for more than two days, large amounts of water can be ingested normally to keep them at low-energy levels.
SIAMESE FIGHTING FISH
The Siamese fighting fish, also sometimes colloquially known as the betta (Betta splendens), is a species in the gourami family which is popular as an aquarium fish. This species is native to the Mekong basin of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, where it can be found in standing waters of canals, rice paddies, and floodplains. They are called pla-kad (biting fish) in Thai or trey krem in Khmer. They tend to be rather aggressive. In January 2014 a large population of the fish was discovered in the Adelaide River Floodplain in the Northern Territory, Australia. As an invasive species they pose a threat to native fish, frogs and other wildlife in the wetlands.
Males and females flare or puff out their gill covers (opercula) to appear more impressive, either to intimidate other rivals or as an act of courtship. Other reasons for flaring is when they are startled by movement or change of scene in their environments. Both sexes display horizontal bars (unless they are too light a color for this to show) if stressed or frightened; however, such a color change, common in females of any age, is very rare in mature males. Females often flare at other females, especially when setting up a pecking order. Flirting fish behave similarly, with vertical instead of horizontal stripes indicating a willingness and readiness to breed (females only). In fact, the fish flare their fins and gill covers as a sign of aggression or flirting with other fish. Bettas sometimes require a place to hide, even in the absence of threats. They may set up a territory centered on a plant or rocky alcove, sometimes becoming highly possessive of it and aggressive toward trespassing rivals.
The aggression of this fish has been studied by ethologists and comparative psychologists. These fish have historically been the objects of gambling; two male fish are pitted against each other in a fight and bets are placed on which one will win. One fish is almost always killed as a result. To avoid this, male Siamese fighting fish are best isolated from one another. Males will occasionally even respond aggressively to their own reflections in a mirror. Though this is obviously safer than exposing the fish to another male, prolonged sight of their reflection can lead to stress in some individuals. Not all Siamese fighting fish respond negatively to other male fish, especially if not too many of them are present.

PERSONALITY
- Outgoing and confident. - Inviting and approachable.
- Can be seen as intimidating/standoffish if concentrating or frustrated.
- Determined and headstrong, can be abrasive. - A bit of a short fuse, can be prone to outbursts of various emotions.
- Particularly nasty temper.
- Hates to be challenged or denied.
- Also hates to be proven wrong or doubted.
- Will fight for what they want. - Can be stubborn and impulsive.
POWERS/TRAITS
- Puff Up (Trait/Passive): When feeling particularly threatened or challenged, or even when experiencing strong feelings of anger or frustration, the Raevan may appear to "puff up" physically. Their hair will stand on end and any fins or other extremities will flare, almost as if they were increasing their size to appear more intimidating. They are fully able to voluntarily do this, but is also a frequent automatic reaction.
- Underwater Breathing: Being a fish, the Raevan has the ability to breathe underwater if fully submerged. Gills may or may not be visible, or may be combined with internal lungs.

Note: While I may flesh these out, I am primarily focusing on sales. I will focus mainly on what each element above (essence or soul) lends to a Raevan by itself.
BISMUTH + NYMPH
NAME : Eden (EE-dən).
ORIGIN : Hebrew, meaning "place of pleasure." It is the name of the garden in which Adam and Eve lived in the Old Testament.
GENDER : Male.
ALIGNMENT : Neutral Good.
A Neutral Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would. (Wikipedia)
STRONGEST STAT : Charisma - Eden knows just what to say to get his way and just how to say it. That slightly off-tilt smile of his goes a long way, and he's notorious for playing his cards to get what he wants. If he wants something from you, or wants you to do something, he's going to try his damnedest to get his way. It doesn't take much effort, really, but obviously not everyone is subject to his charms.
LIKES : Beauty, luxury, sunny days and fresh air, new discoveries and knowledge, people, and nature.
DISLIKES : Cloudy and rainy days, cold, overly confined spaces, being denied or ignored, dull and drab colors or decor, and strict routines.
HOBBIES :
FOOD SOURCE : Iridescence (Primary): Eden feeds off of the colorful sheen found on the surface of bismuth, but from any source available. The most common choice is oil when in direct sunlight. After feeding, the source becomes dull and flat, but eventually the iridescence returns because the material itself is naturally iridescent. However, this is not an infinite source of nourishment. This food source is not readily available, since the nutrient quality diminishes greatly if the Raevan creates the growth or change themselves. Simply rearranging furniture or building different things out of Lego blocks will only be like eating a cracker or two.
Photosynthesis (Fallback/Semi-Automatic): Because nymphs are nature-based entities, Eden is able to draw nourishment from the sun much like a plant. This would be a secondary food source, given that it comes from the soul instead of the essence. He will usually only resort to this method when he does not have access to more filling choices or if he is desperate. Obviously, this most effective on sunny days and nearly useless on cloudy ones.
Natural Habitat (Automatic/Mild): More of an energizer than an actual food source, simply being in a natural environment provides Eden with a "refresh" of sorts. This is equivalent to getting a good night's sleep, not necessarily a meal. Powers and other traits are slightly more powerful in these settings, as well. Unfortunately, this also results in him being unable to withstand long periods of being cooped up inside. A day or two is alright, but a week would result in a sort of cabin fever: irritability, fatigue, and diminished power.
POWERS : Shape Shifting: Taken from the essence's constant movement and change in structure, Eden is able to shift its shape and appearance. It can be slightly unsettling to watch the process, as it resembles blocks moving and shifting and settling together again to form the new image. He is only able to change above the start of his ribbon. Despite all changes, Eden's default and usually preferred appearance would be that of the image on his cert.
Force Fields: As a result of the high diamagnetism found in bismuth, Eden is able to create small force fields. These are not so much defensive as offensive, used to push things and people away. As a Frei the force is small, coming across more like a nudge and its strength is relative to the weight of an object. As he grows, his power would increase and he may be able to throw extremely heavy objects long distances or manipulate the magnetic fields around objects other than himself.
Affinity (Passive → Active): What initially appears as a gifted green thumb with plants as a Frei actually develops into an ability to control them! Anything Eden plants tends to do very well, and lasts considerably longer. As his magic grows stronger, his level of control will naturally increase. This requires a very high magic stat, so this will be edited (perhaps into an active power that requires effort and energy) or removed if he does not have one.
TRAITS (PASSIVE): Iridescence: Eden puts off a certain look of iridescence and sheen, especially when in direct sunlight. It's not blinding, and certainly not very obvious, but when he has just fed it is especially noticeable. Hunger and/or deprivation results in dulled colors and a lack of "glow" to the skin, almost like a sick human.
Floral Note: Eden naturally produces a light floral scent at all times, which can be calming or therapeutic to others.
PERSONALITY :
RELATIONSHIP : To say that Eden doesn't respect Ian's authority would be a massive understatement. He doesn't outright rebel or ignore the florist, he simply chooses not to listen or follow any (admittedly timid) directions at times. Ian doesn't have a significantly authoritative bone in his body, which makes parenting tricky, but he's not the sort to give up. Given that Eden views Ian more as an overly-concerned roommate than a father figure, this leads to headbutting and many exasperated sighs. The nymph can be a problem at times, especially when overly energized or particularly bored. Not only does Ian have to learn to be assertive, but Eden also needs to learn to listen and respect those who deserve it. Charm and wit can get him many things, but a true relationship is a two-way street.

NAME : Ian Taylor Flynn. GENDER : Male. AGE : Thirty-one (Birthday: September 7th - Virgo). OCCUPATION : Self-employed florist. His shop, Thistle Do Nicely, is small but is luckily located on a very well-traveled street in downtown Barton. RACE : Human - Irish descent. LIKES : Design, color, flowers, music, animals, reading, and sleeping in late. DISLIKES : Crowds, severe weather, bad smells, disorder, being the center of attention, and complete darkness and/or silence. LOOKS : Wiry in build, Ian stands at around 5'10" with broad shoulders and long limbs. His skin is fair with a light sprinkle of freckles across his cheeks and shoulders. He spends time outside when he can, but can't seem to tan unless he’s burned. His caramel brown is often boyishly messy, and has a red hue when in direct sunlight. Ian's eyes are a light hazel color that leans more toward green than gold. Usually, he can be found smiling.
PERSONALITY : Ian's feelings dictate almost everything he does. Their accuracy varies, but he trusts them as a doctor would his instruments. Because of this, Ian is heavily influenced by and aware of things around him. For example, he is often quick to pick up on tensions between others and becomes anxious.
Ian is an artist at heart, sensitive and friendly and highly in tune with his world. Underneath that friendly exterior, Ian is a very emotional person, but can be difficult to get to know because of social anxieties. He is pleasant and personable when conducting business, and he enjoys being around others, but you'll have to work if you want to get closer. However, it is easy to see that Ian is kind and gentle. He is a loyal friend, and won't hesitate to help when he feels he is needed. He is more likely to wait until approached, but if the situation is serious he has no problems being proactive.
He also has a strong set of moral values, but they may not always be in accordance with society's rules. He trusts his gut intensely, and will often have a hard time going against it. Ian's goals are more centered on personal fulfillment than material accomplishments; his main reason for opening his shop was to be able to do what he wanted for a living his own way. That's not to say Ian isn't concerned with money, it's just not his main motivation.
HISTORY : Ian grew up with his parents and sister in the suburbs of Barton with two dogs and two cats. His parents bought a modest two-story home and Ian was born shortly afterward. He was cherished and loved, nearly spoiled, but soon was taught to work for what he wanted. He drew on everything, and enjoyed playing outside. He especially loved helping his mother with the garden, with all the different flowers. His younger sister Caroline came along when Ian was seven, but she proved to be much more serious than her older brother and preferred reading over horseplay. Ian was confused at first, having been the center of his parents' attention for so long, but grew to care deeply for Caroline.
In college, he majored in botany and business, determined to become a florist after years of entertaining his love of plants. He was fascinated by the beauty of flowers and the reactions they provoked in others. He got through school with a decent GPA and a low amount of debt, thanks to hard work on scholarships. After a few years of working various jobs, he now owns a small flower shop underneath a two-bedroom apartment in downtown Barton. Ian has started to notice a lack of companionship in his life, but romantic relationships are difficult. After providing flowers for a Lab party, Ian has taken an interest in Raevans; he believes he can provide a stable and supportive home, and single-parent adoption is rare.

PETS
After the strange trip through the hedge maze on Halloween, a tiny perforated box arrived on Ian's front step. Inside was a small creature (a "chimera," according to the small card that was inside). A mixture of a cat and octopus, Ursula spends her time causing trouble around the apartment. Her favorite pastimes include knocking things over and hiding in strange, very small places.
GRAMS
What Ian originally believed to just be cute boxes with sweets inside turned out to be adorable little deer sprites! They like to hang around the shop during business hours and the customers seem to enjoy them very much. They also tend to follow him back and forth from the apartment, as well. So far, he has managed to keep them from following him around town. Top: Berry -- Queenie Bottom: Crystal -- Rosie

FINDING THE SOUL "I-it's okay, I can help. You can... You can create life again, I promise..." "Caroline, go get the bottle."
- Flounders around for a little while -- how the hell am I supposed to pick a soul jfc what.
- s**t I don't want to kill something omg why would you do that gd this is morbid.
- Meadow of flowers near Ian's home is dying. - Decides to get a piece of it for memory's sake, leaves the soul bottle there for a while.
- Also interested in how a still-living plant soul would affect the Raevan. - Figures he'll get a flower or grass or some s**t idk.
- Turns out meadow was created by a nymph, who was dying (and therefore meadow was dying). - Accidentally captures nymph's soul instead. - FEELS BAD, but she was also dying anyway...
- She'll technically be reborn, which is cool yeah. - Bonus: mythological plant/nature spirit hell yeah boi.
i was informed of a non-humanoid soul rule, so i have to rethink my first choice for a soul.
woops. :c
confirmed that a nymph or dryad soul is alright! back to advancing that idea. c:

Picking out names:
1. Ephrath (ef-rath): Means "fruitful place" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament this name was borne by one of the wives of Caleb. Also in the Bible, it is the name of the place where Rachel was buried. 2. Aglaia (ə-glie-ə): Means "splendour, beauty" in Greek. In Greek mythology she was one of the three Graces or Χαριτες (Charites). 3. Thalia/Thaleia (tah-lee-ə/tə-lay-ə): From the Greek Θαλεια (Thaleia), derived from θαλλω (thallo) meaning "to blossom". In Greek mythology she was one of the nine Muses, the muse of comedy and pastoral poetry. This was also the name of one of the three Graces or Χαριτες (Charites). 4. Aiyana (ie-ah-nə): Native American, meaning "forever flowering." 5. Antheia (ahn-thay-ə): Greek form of Anthea, meaning "flower, blossom." This was an epithet of the Greek goddess Hera. 6. Anthousa (an-tho-sə): Ancient Greek form of Anfisa, meaning "flower." 7. Euthalia (yoo-tah-leeə): Means "flower, bloom" in Greek.

i would really love to receive some critiques, either on ian, antheia, or the essence or soul choices, or even everything all together! everything is basically done at this point, so i'm kind of stuck until i do receive some critique, lol. 9 u 6 that way i can continue to move forward with this and make more progress! * v *

per Atmadja's advice, i have revised and/or cleared up some things in antheia's food sources and powers.
please take a look and see if they sound good or if i need to clarify or change some more. thank you! u v u
