Quote: Dance: Performing Arts
Those who had taken Week 1 of the Clan of Conquest's class might recognize the female seated on the chair in the room; in front of her was a Guzheng. Standing on her left was a horsewoman who was dressed like a servant ghoul holding a Pipa, and on her right stood a horsewoman who looked like she was of the same age as the servant ghoul, but was dressed in clothing that looked more colorful and decorative.
"Welcome. I am Zhang Liulian, but you may address me as Professor Zhang. Traditionally, dancing is an art form reserved for females, but in recent years, even males had taken up this art," She explained, giving you a small smile, "It requires flexibility, a quick reflex... It is not as easy as you think it might be. In fact, it requires years of practice to get dancing down. Here, let my disciple show you." She turned to the ghoul on her right and gave her a nod; immediately, the young ghoul brightened up, moving to the space in front. When Professor Zhang started to play the Guzheng, accompanied by her servant's Pipa, the young ghoul performed a dance so entrancing, it probably kept you captivated.
"Same say that dancing may even lift your spirits and heal your soul... Why don't you find that out for yourself, child?"Quote: Time to dance!-> Roll these in separate posts and RP it out! -> It's more fun with friends. >_> Step 1: Costume : Just describe/post/draw it!-> Keep it CHINESE. -> Not Asian... CHINESE. >| Google it! -> It can be from the Huns as well. As long as CHINA. Step 2: Picking a prop from a "blind box" : 1d41 : Paper fan 2 : Streamers 3 : Nothing 4 : A long strip of thin fabric...? -> Remember to use what you got with the prompt below! Step 3: Now you dance : 1d201 - 6 : You tripped over your costume/foot/flat ground/etc and failed. 7 - 11 : You were a little out of pace with the music, but at least you tried! (1 Horsemen Point!) 12 - 15 : You were one with the music, but... Your dance wasn't exactly that graceful or captivating. In fact, are the Horsewomen giggling at you?! (2 Horsemen Points!) 16 - 20 : You did well for a beginner! It seemed like you had earned a genuine smile from the Horsewomen! (You obtain 3 Horsemen Points!) Having taken Invictus' classes on stealth within Amity, Levi was on search of similar practices. Should she look in any particular place? The marble buildings or the brushes of greenery for hidden horsemen? Levi wasn't familiar enough with these surroundings to simply sneak about as she would back in the woods at school. This was horsemen territory and, of all factions, conquest. Her sneaking to find other sneakers who were potentially a lot more practiced than she seemed like a weak course of action. She decidedly remained casual while walking a path lined on either side by a cool still water.Oh- Levi noticed the fish alright, but given how silent and neat this place was, the tatzel ghoul gathered going fishing with her bare hands was not going to go over well. All she needed was for one of Invitus' kin to see her and claim she had shamed her peers by representing the school poorly. No fishing. Step 1Biting her lower lip every time she looked down at one of the slow swimming morsels, Levi fought back a whine. Shaking her head to snap out of her usual fish fixation, Levi looked up to notice a nearby structure. It seemed open to the public? The ghoul was rather unsure of the practices here, but an open door was usually an invitation for entry. Plus there was a sign that stated "training field"in front. Hadn't that been what she was looking for here? Grinning, Levi entered. Inside a horsewoman introduced herself and explained a very intriguing proposal. Slowly kneeling to mimic the other figures there, the tatzel listened, hoping this was proper behavior. The horsewoman seemed accepting, so Levi took to to task at hand. Admittedly, the example dance was rather impressive and Levi had to wonder how the ghoul was able to move so perfectly and swiftly without damaging her garment. It was so long and flowy. That was to be the first part of this challenge as well: picking out suitable attire. As always, fashion was not Levi's forte and she cringed while going through the options. Doing the best she could, she went with whatever seemed to fit and watched others put on their outfits to learn how to apply hers herself. There! Oh wait- Whenever Lizzy had given her something to wear, there was always something to put on her tail. Finding some more fancy roping stuff, she tied a few around sporadically on her tail. Nodding with blind approval at her choices, Levi moved on.

Step 2
Picking out something without any idea of what would work best, Levi attempted to roll up a sleeve to grab onto something she could use for her performance. The sleeve was just endless. Eventually, she got her hand on something... or things. A pair of streamers?
Oh, the wheels were turning now. Giving one streamer a test swirl in by the floor, Levi chuckled- then promptly looked around for a potential opponent. Anyone here could be a potential opponent though. Correcting her own thoughts as they ran by, Levi observed that there were currently no boils in the room. Okay- twirling the streamer was fine.
Though the instructor had mentioned this sort of dancing was being picked up by boils nowadays. Alright- even if there were boils in the room, she'd still whirl the streamer. It had value to the training exercise. Collecting her sleeves again, Levi returned, ready to practice a performance now.

Step 3 - FAIL
It was Levi's first attempt at a spin that reminded her of why she never wore garments that were too flowy. Taking a deep breath at her turn and the first chords of the music playing, Levi's feet led her into a turn only to have one of her enormous sleeves catch underneath her own feet, causing her to crash into the floor face first.
Yep. That was why she never wore long robes.

Day 2 - The dance continues (she's determined okay) Step 1This time Levi chose a garment a little more pieces together rather than one solid first layer. Given her experience at prom while dancing, Levi reasoned that her dress back then was more than one layer. It made her movements easier. So- piling on thin layers of plain material, the ghoul had to have help this time around with placing on the bodice to keep it all together. Dressing ghouly was hard. Especially more so when you wore garments that looked like this. Oh- and shorter sleeves this time. Definitely shorter sleeves... things in her hair? She'd swapped her usual ear cuff for a gold one last time and, looking around, the others had things in their hair as well. That's right! Lizzy had made decorative things for her hair at prom and scarentines. She picked up what there was two of and matched them up on either ear. Okay! That would do, right?

Step 2
This time around, Levi's item to practice the dance with was... another piece of fabric? Well, she already had so many on. So long as she was careful not to trip on it, she'd use it. Taking her place and awaiting her turn to perform, the ghoul waited, trying not to breathe too heavily.

Step 3
She danced the dance of Invi's people. As shown by Professor Zhang's assistant, Levi moved to certain strings and basically treated the fabric as a paper plane or something in her hand, making large sweeps with in using the full extend of her arm. However, it was long- she didn't want to trip on it. So, with her other hand, she picked up the other end when she thought it was too close to the ground and switched hands with the paper airplane effect.
This dance had been a success if the Professor's gesture and expression were any indication. Tail swaying, Levi bowed like the other ghoul from the example had done, accepting the praise.
Levi just learned a foreign dance!

Quote: Making a good impression with lower life forms aka etiquette
You find yourself standing in a precisely manicured field, pristine green grass stretching out in front of you for what seems like miles. A gaggle of large flightless birds stand in the shape of a horseshoe, a few of them already engaged by other Amityville students. A horseman of Conquest approaches you, her deep olive hair serving to help camouflage her in the surrounding foliage.
"Greetings. You may call me Rucha. Today you will be working with the adara." She sweeps an arm toward the birds, her long sleeves trailing through the grass at her feet. "On the whole, members of this species have a lot in common with humans as far as temperament and intelligence are concerned, so you should have no trouble getting them to tolerate you." She frowns and looks you up and down. "In theory." Rucha moves to one side, allowing you to step past her.
"Take this," She hands you a list of instructions. "Choose a bird, and make an effort to earn its trust."Instruction One First, you must bow to the adara to show it you mean no harm. Try to at least act sincere.Roll 1d4.1: Your bow is suitably impressive. The adara inclines its head and drops a feather. Perhaps it will be of some use later. 2: The bird screams in terror and pushes you to the ground before running away. You fail. 3: You don't make proper eye contact at first, but soon your adara is nuzzling up to you anyway. It seems you have a natural affinity for dealing with the beasts. A future as a DETH representative might be in the cards. You also obtain one feather. 4: You bow, but it's kind of a weak attempt. Still, your bird responds. It doesn't seem terribly enthusiastic about the whole situation though. You pass. Instruction Two Next you should offer the adara a refreshing drink of water or a salted cracker.Roll 1d6.1: The adara nibbles at your cracker, then turns away and starts to graze on the leaves near its feet. You pass, but not by much. 2: After you've fed your bird its snack, the adara puffs up and begins to gag. You've failed the challenge, but you do obtain a feather as a result of its misery! 3: Your adara drinks its water daintily, then allows you to pet it. You pass and you get a feather! 4: Sadly, after your bird eats your cracker, it quickly moves on to the next student, letting them pet it and collect one of its feathers. The two timer! You pass. Eventually your adara wanders back. 5: The adara in front of you ignores your cracker, but another animal wanders over to eat it instead, giving you one of its feathers in thanks! You pass. 6: You drop your water and crackers, watching in dismay as a passing bird tramples them. You fail. Instruction Three Ask the adara something about itself, listening attentively when it answers, even though you can't understand a word of its reply.Roll 1d6.1: You ask the bird to tell you where it was born and it responds with a happy trill and a long, drawn out bird story. After a while, you begin to get bored. The adara stops mid-chirp, gets up, and waddles away. You fail. 2: The adara looks on in confusion and dismay as you try to stutter out an interesting question. You fail. 3: Your bird is pleased by your question. It sits down and shares a tweety tale of intrigue that you manage to remain bright-eyed and alert for. You pass. 4: Your question frightens the adara and it leaves your vicinity with a shiver. Its shaking causes one of its feathers to fall nearby. You fail. 5: In an effort to seem like you care, you ask your adara a very personal question that it refuses to answer. You fail. 6: You've coincidentally hit on your adara's favorite topic of all time, and even if you can't understand what it's saying, it's still pretty entertaining. You listen as attentively as you can, and are awarded with a feather for your trouble. You pass. Instruction Four Lastly, tell the adara a secret. These animals love to think they're up on the latest gossip.Roll 1d4.1, 2: Your secret is a sad, boring one that nobody cares about. You fail. 3: The adara listens, rapt, as you tell it a little-known tale of intrigue and madness. When you're done, it drops a feather at your feet. You pass. 4: Everybody knows that secret! The adara shakes its head, accidentally dislodging a feather for you to keep. You fail. Horsemen Points For each feather you have (up to three) at the end of this test you may claim a Horsemen Point. Quote: Q: What happens if I fail? You stop. You can try again tomorrow or the next, but once you fail you're done.

Day 3 - Levi is so propah
Step 1 - FAIL
So she had done well at the dancing with Professor Zhang yesterday. The tatzel decided to see what other training was available for her to try on the isle. Given they only had a limited time to try things out here, Levi would try to do her best is as many activities as she could.
The class with Invictus was going well. Her incense the previous day had lit well and stayed burning for a long period of time. Overall, Levi felt completely relaxed here fulfilling her tasks with the Conquest horsemen. Being a relatively jumpy ghoul normally, this place had really settled her down; she could stay here longer than a week easily.
Through the grassy field of green came another training sign. Birds?
She nodded hearing out the lesson to be learnt from this exercise, took the instructions handed to her, and had at it.
Now- you'd think Levi would have a talent somewhat on how to handle birds. The ghoul had handled some very large birds before. Ones that grew on her and in turn grew to like her. Levi was not opposed to learning how to make nice with a bird critter.
Approaching her first one, however proved to be a terrible idea given she somewhat snuck up on it. The critter flailed its wings and took off, leaving Levi to wonder... did this mean she was good at scaring humans then?

Day 4! Needs more monocle, Levi
Step 1 - PASS ( obtained 1 feather)
After receiving her charm from the charms and incense class, Levi went back to her room to sleep the day off until she returned once again to the birds. This time, she was able to not have the feathered critter flock away in fear and she bowed and received bow in return. Progress!

Step 2 - PASS (+ 1 feather)
Attempting to give it food and drink was another story. This adara didn't care much for what Levi offered. However, being the type of hostess ghouls she was, she persisted as best as she could. It paid off in some way as a different bird came up to take the cracker.
Levi made a face similar to O.o at attracting a whole other critter but- at least it worked? Another feather left in accomplishment of her task.

...did it have a mate.
Yeah, it didn't think it was necessary to answer either.
