81-100: You manage, finally, with the last dregs of your effort to escape. You are tired, exhausted still, but you make it out. Whatever it was it is best if you don't go back to the room ever again.

And he never, ever, ever went in that room again.

Exploding from the black abyss portal back into the temple, Fallow let out a loud and waspish howl of sound that sounded very like "<********>" before storming out of the temple and straight back to the dorms.

Or as close as he came to it, at least, before passing out.

It took every ounce of her balance not to fall on the slick surface as she fumbled further into the strange arena. There was a drawl in each step, a stutter in each click of her shoe as she placed one foot over the other in rhythmic timing. Surely the exit had been the opposite way? Mea moved on feeling like one of the drunken sort.

Snap!

Mea went rigid and released an exasperated sigh as a tingling overtook her body. From one second of a pain never-ending to now, a numbness shooting over her body giving way to something grand. Her bright pink eyes were alert, moving over the walls she stood near and a smile lit up her face. It was as if she had stuffed herself with a plethora of prime fleshy things, but even better! Purpose, happiness, elation - she bounced a few times and her ears followed suit.

She couldn't even remember pain anymore and where she had been wailing moments earlier she couldn't help from giggle and add to her bounce. Again the purpose, food...? No, she had no lust left for such trivial things. Conquest. That was where she was, the Isle of Conquest - to visit? No, to remain.

They were brothers and sisters all alike, each one her closest relative, her dearest ones who shared in the same Fear. Closing her eyes she envisioned it as plainly as day. Walking among them as an equal to learn, to live, to.. protect. Yes, she would protect them. Not just with her life, with her soul, her Fear, her entire being and all she held dear. Even with her memories. Yes, she would! She wou-

Crack!

It was as if lightning had struck her and her eyes opened. Panic ran through her and she shuddered. "Where did I just go?" She muttered out, hearing the light echo of her voice ring against the enclosing walls. Shaking her head she took a step further, her body heavy. Wailing would have to come later, when she was more awake. If she wasn't already too far gone.

She felt like she was attempting to swim upstream, only to be pushed back down over a waterfall. A thousand pounds of pressure crushing down on her body would be uncomfortable for sure, but maybe nothing compared to this upset. Every time she moved forward she found that she had either been turned around completely or moved further into unfamiliar territory. Not to say that the area had any sense of familiarity to begin with to the rabbit, but she had grown quite attached to the stalagmite she had used to steady herself. That was but a sweet passing memory now.

Panting she darted her eyes wildly along the wall, searching for another opening that might lie hidden in shadow. There was no such luck but rather she found herself pressed up against a smooth face of rock. She felt her mouth run dry and she moved to speak, probably some sort of smart remark to keep herself entertained, but found nothing to say as she noticed them.

It was as looking over mist to the sea, hazy and surreal. A pressure built around her, keeping her locked and she could see it again. Four figures.. were they students? She blinked and again they hit. Not students, nothing to do with her homeland, four horseman.

"RRR!" She released an annoyed sound and again the images assaulted her. One lone figure moving towards the others, coming to the center and, what was happening now? Again like falling back into a waterfall the Fear made her shudder, sliding across the rock face in a futile attempt to escape it all.

The curiosity in her was dead and she wanted nothing more than to leave such a strange place. She merely hoped at this rate her curiosity would be the only thing dying around here.

Alamea shuddered and her hands slipped against another rock face and she fell, smacking her head into the side of a rock. She let out an angry hiss and bared her teeth, slamming a fist angrily into it. Immediate regret shot through her knuckles which made her lash out at a nearby rock, kicking it up into the nearest wall with a resonating echo. Gurgling, her stomach released a sympathetic grumble before becoming silent.

Scowling she reached up to the nearest rock and pulled herself free of the damp floor. Even if the beds were a little too soft for her taste, how she longed to get back to the dorm room and see her friends. Her friends... She scowled deeper. Were they looking for her back in the Temple? Had they too fallen prey to the overwhelming chamber below as she had?

She shook her head. What sort of thinking was that at a time like this? There was no use to such things when she could barely concentrate to begin with. Somewhere she heard water running down a rock face and her ears twitched. How had she missed that before? Bounding off towards it she sniffed the musty air and was filled with sudden familiarity. It smelled heavily of the Conquest Clan members.

Was it trustworthy? Probably not, but she had gotten no luck while frantically searching or while attempting to retrace her steps. "I'll eat my own feet if this doesn't work." Mea said under bated breath as she reached an incline. There was nothing for it, she was determined. Cracking as she moved, she felt her knees complaints as she bounded upwards with both arms in front of her.

Suddenly warmth surrounded her and she had found she had crossed past something. Two seconds flat and she was down to her knees, panting and feeling the dry floor underneath. It seems she had made it out at last, but with such exhaustion she wasn't in the proper mind to think over it all and what it had meant.

Not taking any chances by turning to face what she had passed through, she took off running, not even wanting to stop and eat a snack. For the remainder of her time her she made a solemn promise to never enter that room again.

Levi had worries of dissipation right then. This source was just too much for her to take. She wasn't sure of how much longer- then the feelings of fear subsided. Numbness took over and she felt nothing until everything was just peachy keen. The ease of her transition in body, mind, and emotions was amazingly simple. There was nothing to worry about; rather, she had everything she needed right there to be perfectly at peace with herself.

Something else bubbled inside and all around her. She was proud; Levi was feeling like a warrior fresh out of a victorious battle. She had the means to be a part of the Clans. Like those who fought before her, she would rage on with the FEAR that empowered them all and rise above those that threatened them.

Together they were stronger than anything else.

Then a shot of that worry returned. Levi wouldn't be able to hold herself up anymore. Legs collapsing, the ghoul fell to the ground under the intensity of the waves of FEAR barreling over her. Palms against the floor, something red and glowing appeared by her fingertips. She couldn't tell if they were really there or if it was all just in her head. Symbols radiated away from the centerpoint of the runes in middle of the alcove. She couldn't read or define exactly what they were... but they were really there, right? Her eyes kept open as best as she could manage to watch what was happening.

Just moments ago, Levi had felt such strength and yet here she was overtaken by this force. A force that was beyond anything she knew she could handle. It was beyond anything all of Amity could handle. The sickness in her gut wasn't her poison at work; she needed to get out of this place. Quick.

Slowly, like a newborn scarling crawling along the ground, she inched her way dragging her claws and knees back toward the steps. It wasn't as easy as simply standing again and running back up to the surface. The power of the FEAR continuously tried to keep her slowly depleting self there. Struggling like she bared a burden heavy enough to weight her down physically, Levi was able to move up the steps until she indeed resurfaced.

The light and green scenery were a welcome sight. She was not going to try that again any time soon. Or ever again, really.

Having already been to the temple of the nine dragons with Willow, Mei decided to take this time to look over the place a bit better. She hadn't really got the chance to before, since she was to busy conversing with the tiger ghoul. Not that she was upset about it--she actually enjoyed the long over due chat between them. It had been a while since the hunters had attacked Amityville, and the two had last spoken since. So to catch up on the events between them was nice.

Walking along the building, Mei reached out to lightly touch things. She wasn't sure if this was taboo or anything, but she did it anyways. Most that could happen, is that she would get scolded anyways, right? Er..she hoped so anyways. Not wanting to think of what might happen, she withdrew her hand and continued on with a shudder.

It wasn't long after that, that Mei paused to stare at what appeared to be energy--or a portal of some sort. "What on--" Hesitating a moment, the doll made her way towards it, stopping to glance about the temple to see if anyone was around. Everything about this was setting off warning bells in her head. It was a bad idea to even think of checking it out! But of course, curiosity usually won over sense for the doll any day. Taking another quick look around the room, Mei stepped into the portal.

Once in, Mei continued down the steps, almost regretting it as soon as she had stepped through. But of course, she didn't stop. No, instead, she kept going, knowing full well, this would cost her later.

The change from all the decor above to the dreary cold and wet stone slabs below was enough to make the doll stare in awe. She was at least thankful, that she didn't easily become chilled like others did. But it wasn't hard to tell that this place looked colder than above.

As she continued on, the more she felt the abnormalities. This place was a little too strange for her liking. It would be unwise to continue any further. Well..it was stupid of her to come here in the first place. She would have to smack herself later for making this idiotic choice. Turning to head back, Mei was halted when a blast of overwhelming fear kept her from moving any further. "W-what the hel--" Cringing at the feeling of an unknown fear, Mei suddenly felt extremely ill. Like she was about to hurl--not an easy feeling for a living doll to receive.

Taking note of the glyphs on the ground, she froze when her own form began to flicker and dissipate towards the source. Damn it! She needed to get out of here! Now!

Instead of leaving, she was overwhelmed by the fear, while images began to flicker into existence. Four clans members..? Between her queasiness and dizziness, Mei watched as a figure--almost ceremonial--continued to the center of the room. She watched eagerly to see what would happen next, but it never came.

Willow wondered around before spotting a set of stairs, the door well it was conveniently open. So it didn't really say stay out but it looked forbidden. The tigress looked around before walking into the door way and down the stairs the closer she got the stronger the fear was. Suddenly she collapsed from the fear. Ughhh what's going on... she glanced down and paused, why did it look like those symbols were glowing red? This wasn't good....

With the images vanishing almost instantly from sight, Mei wrapped her arms around her stomach, feeling as though she might puke out whatever fear she had. What the hell was all that about? What were the four members doing? It was almost irritating that she couldn't see what happened after that. But maybe it was a good thing that they disappeared as quickly as they came. The more she stayed in this place, the more she could feel herself slipping away. It was definitely time for her to leave. Now.

Motioning forward, she began up the stairs again, not stopping to look back at what was down beneath the temple again. It was a mistake to come here, and hard lesson learned. She was damn sure not to make it twice--at least not for this place. There was no telling how far her curiosity and idiocy would take her.

Coming close to vomiting, Mei hastened her steps. The sooner she would be out of this place, the sooner she would feel better. She hoped. Oh Jack, she hoped. If she was going to feel this ill after she left, she was going to be highly annoyed. Mostly at herself. Thankfully, as she made it closer to the exit, she could feel her queasiness fading. However, she still felt weak and exhausted from whatever had happened below.

As soon as she made it out, she dropped to her knees almost ready to hug the ground for have making it back out. Thank Jack that was over! Checking to see if anyone was around still, Mei heaved a sigh of relief. Looks like she got lucky this time. Standing shakily to her feet, she made her way back towards the dorms. Sleep was what she needed. And to never go near that damn portal ever again.

This was Junko's first time entering the temple of the nine dragons, but she was curious what it was like in there. It was everything she had been expecting of the beautiful Isle of Conquest, at least it was everything she was expecting until she saw...the randomly placed black portal. Junko tried not to stare. Staring was rude. The horsemen probably wouldn't want her staring..but she saw as a few students entered through the portal and she gasped. Oh no! Guys! No! "Wait I don't think we're supposed to--" Another student entered. "Guys, wait--" One more.

Damnit! Why weren't they listening?! Whining, Junko lifted part of her skirts high enough to hurry after the students into the portal without tripping on them. She didn't know what was on the other side but she had a very strong feeling they were not supposed to be going in there.

She spotted the stairs immediately upon entering through the portal, looking around with a worried frown. She didn't see anyone nearby. Had they gone down the stairs already? "Hello..?" Junko called out, waiting for some kind of reply. Nothing. Not even a horseman telling her to leave. She bit down nervously on her lip and glanced back at the entrance. They weren't supposed to be in here, she could tell just looking at it. This place must be so off limits to them!

..But why? No! No, Junko! Don't think like that! But...students sometimes questioned the trust level of the horseman clans--no! Stop that! Invictus is a good person! He's nice, and he wants you to succeed, and do well, and make a good impression. The horsemen were nothing to be feared! They could work with them! They could be allies!

Yet somehow Junko still felt herself compelled to continued down the stairs.

The walls changed. No longer did she feel like she was in the beautiful ornate city of the clan of Conquest. It was like...a prison. Her skirt felt colder by her feet. Was it getting wet? Oh, bother! Sighing, Junko tried her best to lift as much as the skirts as she could so as not to ruin Invictus' beautiful gift. The Fear though, it was getting stronger. She could feel it.

Huh? What was this? She stopped a moment when she noticed the wall carvings, eyes wide as she took in what was on them. Whoa...this..this was...this was bad. She shouldn't be here. She should leave. Go. Get out of here. No one will catch her if she just left now. The longer you spend in here the more danger you're putting yourself in, Junko. Just get out of here!

She continued on despite her better judgments screaming at her to turn around, her fingers tracing the carvings lines as she walked along the hall. She felt dizzy...she should sit, maybe. Her head felt like it was swimming, the beginnings of a headache beginning to settle in.

And then she wanted to throw up. Gasping and coughing, Junko stopped dead in her tracks and leaned against the wall with one hand, her other hand pressing against her head as she did her best to stay standing. What was this?! She could barely stand! Her head...oh Jack her head hurt so bad it felt like it was going to split open! Whining, Junko pressed her full weight against the wall and looked ahead of her.

What in Halloween was this?! Her eyes were wide as she tried desperately to back away from the alcove, but she found herself unable to take even a single step.

Suddenly her hair started to move--no. No, wait. It wasn't moving on its own, it was being drawn in like...wh-what the hell?! Her hair! It was fading! And her hands! She tried to cry out with terror and despair at seeing her body beginning to flicker in and out of existence piece by piece, falling back on her rear. She tried to get up, she struggled to stand so she could run away, but as she did this she was distracted by something on the floor below her. Runes? They glowed so brightly! If not for the fact that she was scared she was going to die she would have thought them pretty. Junko needed to get out of here. She struggled to stand, whimpering and holding her head with one hand while the other grabbed the closest stable object she could get a grip on and tried to pull herself up. Was she not alone in here? She heard...chanting. Looking up and around, the room spun as she pressed back against the wall and struggled to stay coherent. There! There...there were horsemen...

She was going to be in so...so much...

..Trouble..

The chanting grew louder and louder and Junko swore she heard someone cry out in pain. Oh, that was her. Of course. She couldn't dissipate here. No. Not here. She couldn't die. Not again. Not like with those Hunters during the trial...no! She refused to..she had to get out of here!

Pushing off the wall with as much strength as she could manage, Junko fled. She stumbled, she tripped, she fell a few times. All Junko could think was out. Out. Out. OUT! The walls felt like they were closing in on her as she stumbled down the hallway, tripping her way up the stairs until she found herself in the Temple of the Nine Dragons again. Was she alone? She hoped so...but no. She couldn't stay here. Someone would know and then she'd...she'd be in so much trouble.

Junko tried not to cry from the pain in her head and the fear in her heart as she hurried to the student dorms as quickly as she could manage. She'd..she'd almost...

They were not supposed to have found that place. She knew it.

Willow tried not to make noises as she swore she saw something. She shouldn't've let the curiosity get the better of her, for now she was stuck hoping that she wasn't about to get caught. Trying to get herself from the floor before the images saw her. Since she wasn't sure if they were.... real or not.

They walked into the room, not noticing her, the tiger tried to move struggling to get up. There was some sort of ceremony, and a leading figure walking to the center of the room. Willow desperately wanted to get away from this, it was as bad, if not worse than the images of the hunters... where they real or weren't they? It was a question she couldn't answer, perhaps never would. Was that what was going to happen in the future, had it already happened? What was the truth?

Everything goes numb and for a second, and you feel good, better than you have for a while. It feels peaceful, perfect, complete. You will be part of the Clans, you will be a protector of this Clan, watching over it with your Fear, with The Fear, the essence of what you all are: a barrier, a means to guard your clan from any harm in the purest essence -

- You wake up, back in your body. Maybe you realise how close you were to disappearing entirely. Maybe it would be more terrifying if you weren't so tired.

Willow was still fighting, but she was getting tired. Suddenly things started to numb, and for a second she started feeling better.... Peaceful, rest.... something she'd not been able to get since the haunted house really. Being part of the clans, a protector, watching over it. It felt.... right? Or did it, something was ticking in Willow's brain trying to figure out why this felt... like it did. The fear the purest essence... suddenly she woke up, eyes wide.

Had seen been about to disappear? She was tired, but something about those few moments chewed at her, everything was like a sickness. Something that kept bothering her, it'd never go away. The tigress was struggling she had to get out....

She wasn't going to give up without a fight, she wasn't going to be useless.
