This is where all monetary transactions in Kumogakure are recorded. When you earn money in any way, or spend it, or even lose it somehow, it must be recorded here before you may update your profile. Use the following format to record your money.

Username:
RPC Name:
Profile: {Link!}

Starting Total: #
Money Gained: # {Include links.}
Items/Services Purchased
[Item] [Individual Cost] X [quantity]= [Final cost]
Total Money Spent/Lost: #
Ending Total: #

Example
Username:Bob
RPC Name:Sam
Profile: Link

Money Gained: 1125 A rank mission: Murdering the Daimyo's nephew (Mission Link)

Kunai 2 X 25 = 50 (shopping link)

For simplicity, this thread is OOC and not for RP. Any posts not for tallying money should be made in the village chat.

Currency System

Currency Gain

Missions
E – 75 Gold
D – 225G
C – 450G
B – 750G
A – 1,125G
S – 2,250G

Extra credits in the mission system also grant money of equal rank to the credit.
Teaching Credits can be traded in for fifteen gold each.

All new RPCs start with a starting bonus of 500 gold.
Autoranks start with gold equivalent to the money they would otherwise have earned over the course of their career, if they only did the bare minimum to rank up.
Chuunin – 2,250 Gold
Special Jounin – 5,250G
Jounin – 10,500G
Sannin/Kage – 30,000G

A Kage receives a quarter cut for every official mission completed by the village.
E – 18 Gold
D – 56G
C – 112G
B – 187G
A – 281G
S – 562G
Alternative bonuses and Teaching credits do not give the Kage a cut.

There are many other ways to gain money, but these are the official methods.

Note: Anyone found to have falsified their income will lose all falsely gained money and items, and an equal amount of money from what they legitimately have. Give yourself 500 gold, we take 1,000 away.

Summoning Contracts: 50,000 - Purchased from Sage NPC in Summoning Lands. Only those with the scroll can become a sage. Once the scroll has been taken, that RPC owns the contract, and must be sought out to sign it. Simply signing a contract may still be done by going through the summon trials until the scroll is taken.

Compound: 50,000 – The favored home of the rich and famous, these compounds have multiple houses in them, along with the best yards in the city. If you're the head of a rich clan, you probably want a compound.
Other – Other buildings will be priced according to their relation to the ones on this list for size and usage.
All player owned buildings are taxed at a rate decided by the local Kage. If the tax is not paid, the Kage may enact the Demolition mission on your building.

Furniture – Furniture can be purchased at the market.
Light Training Dummy: 250 – The Light Training dummy increases your training area's bonus by one. It will break with ten uses. Medium Training Dummy: 500 – The Medium Training dummy is slightly stronger than the light, lasting for twenty uses.
Heavy Training Dummy: 1,000 – The Heavy Training dummy is outfitted with armor, so that it can stand up to much more punishment. It lasts for forty uses.

Hired Fighter – A hired fighter will assist you in completing missions, or just picking fights. He'll expect a cut of the profits though.
Bounty Hunter – This shady person would kill their own mother if the price was high enough. Slip them some change, and the job will be done. They set their own prices, according to the difficulty of the mark.
Medic – A qualified medic can heal you up as good as new, for the right price.
Spy – If you have the money, you might be able to buy a skilled spy to learn any information about somebody. However, if they get caught, they probably won't think twice about ratting you out to save their own necks.

Kunai
The most basic of ninja equipment. The kunai is a small knife, designed for ease of use in both long and short range engagements. They are durable enough to handle close range abuse, and about the right shape and weight to make an efficient throwing weapon. There is nothing truly outstanding about these, and they can be found at nearly any ninja supply shop.

Shuriken
The famous ninja throwing star. Shuriken come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common is a small four pointed Shuriken are mainly used as a throwing weapon. They are lighter than most other weapons, and designed for flight, making them perfect for long range use. They don't always do much damage, but are still quite useful.

Senbon
One of the lesser used, but still good ninja tools, is the senbon. A long needle like weapon, they are most definitely the lightest of weapons in a ninja's arsenal. They don't commonly do much damage due to their small impact, but when used properly, can be devastating. They are primarily used as long ranged weapons, and are used by medics and hunter nin to hit pressure points and vital targets on an enemy's body.

Makibishi
Also known as caltrops, the makibishi is simply a small ball of steel with multiple sharp spikes sticking off of it. Their most common use is as a trap or hindrance, scattered on the ground to pierce an enemy's feet.

Ninja Wire
Ninja wire is a very light metal wire. Surprisingly strong, it is able to hold a tremendous amount of weight without snapping, and is as flexible as string, making it popular for use in trapping targets, or just traps in particular. While it's hard to simply snap, it is easily cut with any bladed weapon.

Razor Wire
Much the same as ninja wire, razor wire has a single added trait. It is very sharp, and is more often used to cut an enemy than to trap them.

Smoke Bomb
One of the ninja's most famous tricks is that of the smoke bomb. The ninja throws a small ball to the ground, and it explodes into a large cloud of smoke. What they do next varies by the reason it is used. The smoke from a smoke bomb lasts for about five posts of combat, and can be blown away by any sort of wind. After five posts, the smoke fades on it's own.

Flash Bomb
A flash bomb, when used releases a sudden flash of bright light, able to blind anyone in the vicinity who does not have their eyes protected in some way. The blindness caused by a flash bomb lasts a mere two posts, but that is often plenty for a well planned attack. The Nara clan has a special use for these bombs. By throwing one behind them, they are able to make their shadow temporarily much longer, allowing them to more easily capture an opponent with their special jutsu.

Explosive Tag
The explosive tag is a staple of the average ninja's arsenal. Being a simple piece of paper with an explosive seal drawn on them, they are quite simple to use. Simply add chakra, wait five seconds, and it explodes. The paper is sticky on one side, to assist with placing them. The explosion spreads over a radius of fifteen feet in a large fireball, with enough power to destroy solid concrete. Explosive tags cost three chakra points to activate.

Ninja Vest
Commonly worn by higher ranking ninja in a village, these vests for some seem like a badge of power. For others, they are merely a garment. For all, they are a piece of body armor. These cushioned vests protect their wearer from the full brunt of many enemy attacks, sometimes proving invaluable in a prolonged battle. The cushioning weakens any physical attack against the user by one rank's power, taking the edge off. Unfortunately they are not solid inside, and are not always capable of stopping bladed weapons. Vests come with four scroll compartments on the breasts, which can be used for holding small scrolls, or anything else that may fit.

Scroll
A blank scroll, commonly used for drawing seals or recording new jutsu, though they can be used for truly anything. Scrolls come in four sizes. Small, which is the normal or average type you will commonly see, Medium, which is twice the size of Small, and Large, which is twice the size of Medium, and Tiny, which are mostly used for messenger birds, being small enough for the bird to carry.

Storage Scroll
The shopping bag of the ninja world, these can be found at ninja supply shops, libraries, even your local grocer probably has them. A small scroll will have ten storage seals in it, medium twenty, and large forty. The seal type contained may vary according to what you buy with the scroll, and every seal in the scroll with be changed accordingly. Storage scrolls do not come in Tiny size, however a Tiny scroll can hold a single storage seal. See Sealing Jutsu for more information on seals, and costs for unsealing items.

Chakra Pills
The Chakra Pill is a simple pill designed to hold chakra. By simply holding one in their hands and allowing their chakra to flow, a ninja can fill the pill with up to twenty points of chakra, at five points per post. The pill can be swallowed at any time to regain the chakra stored within, making them useful for a mid-battle refresher. Due to the nature of the pills, taking more than one within a period of five posts will have a reversed effect. The chakra will rebel, and leave the body in a sudden burst taking an equal amount with it. Taking three in a single battle will cause death after the battle is over. For this reason, the pills are sold only in bunches of three, and every sale includes instructions on their proper usage. Ingesting a pill charged by another ninja will have the same effect as taking two at once.

Soldier Pills

Blood Clotting Pills These pills allow small to medium sized wounds to clot almost instantly, preventing blood loss and providing a small boost to the healing process. Most often used in covert ops to avoid trackers. Blood clotting pills are not health pills, for proper treatment see a medic. Large wounds will remain unaffected unless bandaged properly, even then clotting will take some time.

Kumo Special Tech

Quote:
Throat-mic/Radio set A standard piece of equipment, the throat mic allows a team of ninjas to communicate on a mission. The system uses three parts, an ear-bud which transmits the sound directly into your ear, a radio and the throat-mic itself. The microphone is on a strap that wraps around your neck, it uses a sensor directly on your throat to transmit everything you say clearly and audibly even when said in the lowest of whispers, Does not transmit unless the button on the neck-device is held. The radios can be used separately from the rest of the system if needed, though it is not recommended.

The radios used with them have six usable channels, which channel you are using is determined by a roll of a six sided dice. The channel cannot be changed unless it is discovered that someone is trying to listen in.

If an enemy gets access to the same channel they can eavesdrop on the conversation. You cannot just roll dice until you get the right channel however. Using the radio alone requires you to speak louder, and transmits what is said back very loudly. Must hold the button on the throat-mic or radio to transmit. The system is also useless without the radio, so while the person can still communicate to their team if they lose the hadset or the mic, both of these parts are useless without a radio to transmit through.

Recon Mask
Technology Power Rank: B
User Image
Description: The Recon Mask was designed by Nagisa Aburame of Kumogakure, where it is considered a secret technology. Due to the importance of this technology only Chuunin and above are permitted use. Made from very strong material, the Recon Mask is completely transparent, with a heads up display. This display can be used to display the mission data or other information, and has a dictating feature to record any new information and send it to any allies wearing a Recon Mask. The display also has a night vision capability to enhance sight in dark places. A display in the upper right keeps track of any other Recon Masks within a 100 yard area to help keep track of the rest of your team. Can be broken by C-ranked jutsu and up if hit directly. If stolen can be used against other teammates using mask. Can't hold up against direct hits from any weapons much stronger than basic kunai.
