→Kensei stopped looking at the store when Sora asked him about Laxus. "Yeah he's joining. He's a raiton user though." He sounded upset about the news. "But what can I do about it though?" He chuckled to himself. He walked inside one of the stores and started looking at their inventory.

→Kensei was making a list of what he should buy. "I may need explosive tags..." He looked down at Sora a few seconds later and saw that she was pouting. He didn't know why so he's have to find out. "Whats wrong Sora?" He asked stooping down to the girl to make eye contact with her.

Kensei felt bad after what Sora said "Don't worry about. Besides you're the best raiton user I know." Kensei tried to cheer up Sora the best he could. "Just forget about what I said and cheer up please."

→"Alright thats better. Lets go back to the Raikage's place. I think we should head out for the mission" Kensei handed the store clerk a list. The clerk came back a few seconds later with 10 explosive tags. Kensei put the tags in his pouch and handed the clerk the money before walking out. "Lets go Sora." Kensei said placing a hand on the girl's back and gently pushing her out of the store.

Stepping into the crowded streets, Nagisa spent several minutes staring at the crowd she would have to confront to get what she needed. When she finally dove into the crowd it hadn't gotten much thinner. Her first stop was a specialty items shop, where she picked up one Rado and mic set, and something that she had specially designed for the village a Recon mask. After shelling out 250 in cash she smiled at the shop owner and dissapeared with a smile, back into the river of shoppers. Her next stop was for basic shinobi gear where they sold smoke bombs, shuriken and occasionally a full sized weapon or two. She grabbed a medium storage seal for her sword, costing her an additional 50 and finally she stopped in the market to get herself some food.

Laxus shook his head lightly, he'd spaced out, and he could feel himself pulling all the metal on his body toward himself. ' s**t... ' He thought, releasing the metal and looking around. He'd been out for a while, Sora and the one who couldn't get his name right had left. He wasn't sure if that was good or bad, but it was at least pleasant that they hadn't bothered him while he was spaced out and pulling metal closer, they might have felt a tug if they were wearing metal rings or something.
Laxus looked around catching sight of Nagisa. " Hey, So what is this about a mission? The one dude that is always with Sora talked about a mission. I sort of spaced out and missed it. " He said laughing lightly. " Guy kinda rubs me the wrong way since he can't get my name right, but I guess I should learn to laugh at myself. " Laxus said looking around, noticing they were in a food store. " I didn't interrupt your grocery shopping did I? " He said taking a step back, a surprised look on his face. " I'm so sorry. " He said bowing deeply.

Carrying her groceries Nagisa turned back towards her home. It would soon be time for the meeting with Kiri and they would need a team, and to verify the arrangements in shimo were completed without any problems. She made her way through the crowd. Things were moving forward the crowded street was proof of that. The village growth had brought several families to the village and the market was busier than ever. Shops were doing great, the potential for new shinobi was rising and best of all, the shinobi of Kumogakure were hidden within the city. The police force was having a bit of trouble keeping everyone in line but they were getting access to civilian recruits. Now Nagisa needed to make sure the alliance went through to ensure their safety until the shinobi workforce could grow back. Her thoughts were interrupted by a young voice. It was the new Genin Laxus. She turned quietly as the boy asked his question. "There are a couple missions going out right now but..." She paused thoughtfully for a moment. She had stupidly revealed her position of Kage to the boy, but she would not give him any evidence she remained the Kage. "Kensei and Sora are on the Suna mission I believe, but I don't think they would be leaving quite yet. Not unless Kensei decided to leave early. I can't tell you any of the details. If you are supposed to be with them you would need to get the information from the team leader or the new Raikage."

Kensei once again stood on the rooftops to look for Laxus. "I see he's still here." Kensei said as he jumped off and landed next to him. "Yo Lars get your stuff and meet up at the gate, I'll tell you the missions there. Oh and uh pack light and bring extra water. We're going to Suna." He was already running late and he kind of knew Sora would have beat him there. "I hope she's not mad." Kensei said to himself before he noticed the boy was talking to Nagisa. "Oh hey Nagisa. Sorry but I can't really talk now, and neither should you James!" Kensei shouted as he started to run off back to his home to grab his things.

" Oh, Okay, I'll try to-" Laxus said, hearing the voice of the guy he was just about to look for. " I guess he found me. " Laxus said laughing. " Okay, I'll see about meeting the new Raikage when I get back. " Laxus said smiling.
Laxus turned from Nagisa to face Kensei, his face turning to one of disbelief once he heard him call him James. " You were at least consistent before... James doesn't even start with an L..." He said, sighing and walking toward the gates. He didn't have anything more than the canteen he carried with him at all times, but he knew how to conserve water. It wasn't scarce on the mountain he trained on, but if he stopped long enough to refill the canteen daily, then his old sensei kicked him off a cliff nearly every time. Without the ability to move metal he probably would have died half of the time. " Okay Okay. " I'm going to call you... Guy. " Laxus said smiling as he walked past Kensei. " See you at the gates Guy. "

"-I believe they served it with a side of dry rat poison, that was to die for!" Timmy pushed his way through the crowd with exactly no trouble, as the few who were still in the streets knew to avoid any potential hijinks. There had been that incident with the glow sticks and racoons, but were they still worked up about that? Timmy led Shikaku to one of the finer restaurants Kumogakure had to offer. The Golden Oyster. If he was going to skip out on a bill, he figured he better do it in style. "So they actually hired me in those new laboratories! I actually get to help them invent new technologies and stuff!" It was true that he got hired, but he wasn't even considered one of the scientists yet. Details were for the weak minded anyways. "This place is kind of expensive though, try to keep it on the cheap okay?"
As Timmy walked through the front doors he was greeted by a tall individual in a tuxedo. As expected he took extra effort to look down his snobby nose towards the boy and his rags, but he never spoke of it. Many wealthy villagers had lost their clothes in that big fire a couple of weeks ago, although most were able to borrow from their fellow snobs. Standing up straight and practicing his "dignified Charles" character Timmy spoke up. "mmyes hello sir. We would like a table for two please, we are celebrating this gentlemen's graduation." He did not say for what. Nobles usually did not view shinobi with much respect, instead they were treated as standard labor workers who did all the dirty cheap work noone else wanted. Not entirely wrong, but Timmy was trying not to get kicked out of this particular eatery.
The tall man snarled a bit before answering. "H- well we have a particularly private table in the back if you two would care to follow me."

Shikaku chuckled, following Timmy as he lead him off into the village rambling about various horrific sounding dishes the orphanage supposedly served. Apparently he'd liked Shikaku's joke and was trying to expand on it. But then he finally got over that, and dropped an odd bit of information that left Shikaku confused for a moment. He had gotten a job in the experimental district? Doing what? The young man, as misguiding as he could often be, was a terrible liar, so Shikaku knew he wasn't bluffing, but what could they possibly want him there for? If he were in charge, he'd have kept the guy as far away as possible! Before he could ask about it though, he realized something. Going by their current route, they had passed all of the eateries in Kumo, except for one. The most high class expensive place around. New job in the labs, be it scientist or janitor, he knew one thing. There was no way Timmy could afford even one serving of anything that place sold. So, obviously, it was going to be an eat and run, not to mention the difficulty they'd have getting in in the first place.
Now, Shikaku was always up for a good scam. He'd been pulling them on people around the orphanage even before becoming a ninja, and after joining the academy, well, he only got better at it. But Timmy, Timmy THOUGHT he was good at it, when he really really wasn't. This was a scientifically proven fact, as over the years Timmy had gotten them into countless scrapes, and Shikaku had been the one to get them out. This was probably going to be one of those all over again. But, he had also just graduated. He really didn't want to tarnish his record on his first day with something as foolish as an eat and run...
Making his choice, Shikaku decided to go along with it, but in his own way. A sudden puff of smoke as they walked through a clump of people, and Shikaku was gone, replaced by a snobbish looking noble boy wearing a well kept suit, bow tie, and arrogant facial expression. It was a disguise he'd used several times before in the orphanage to amuse the few people he could consider almost friends, by mimicking the antics of rich people they had seen. And now, apparently, he was using it to get free food. How nice. He doubted it would get them in and out, but it'd hide his true face, and that was what he wanted.
As they reached the restaurant, they were, as expected, stopped by the door guard, but Timmy got through with a surprisingly good act, probably playing on some recent fires to try and look like a noble who had lost his clothes. Effective, for a moment, but it'd lose it's charm soon enough, as already people were looking at them oddly, due no doubt to Timmy's ragged clothing. Why the man didn't get better clothes, even if he had to grab them off a clothesline, evaded him.
Turning on Timmy as the guard lead them in, Shikaku glared at him before speaking out, slightly louder than necessary. "Now look Timothy. Thanks to you going and ruining the clothes father gave you, they want to hide us away. Does this please you? My father will hear of this, and then you'll see what comes of it." As he spoke the final sentence, the boy turned his glare towards the door guard, and anyone else who was looking at them. He was actually happy to get the private booth. It would hide the fact that they really weren't rich nobles at all from the real ones. Or rather, that he wasn't, as he had just given the impression that Timmy was a servant of some sort, explaining away his rags, and hopefully, his faulty acting. Try as he might, he'd never match Shikaku.
Done with his play tantrum, Shikaku turned to the guard again, still glaring for effect. "Fine then. Take us to this private table, but at least make up for it with good service." With that, the boy snapped one last glare at Timmy and stalked arrogantly off after the man who was to lead them to their table, doing his level best not to break out laughing and ruin the scam. He'd only ever used this act for jokes before, and it was becoming difficult to keep a straight face.
