' A fan? I remember that crest... oh well, it's unimportant. ' Laxus thought, grinding his teeth, his face going from happiness to a face of lacking any emotion. " Laxus... " Laxus said, his eyes drifting off as he turned to look at the flak jacket. his entire body was easily viewable as calm, except for his fist that was on the other side of him from Kensei. It was balled, lightning dancing across it every few seconds.
" Laxus..." Laxus said again, as the male refered to him as someone else yet again. Laxus's face turned slightly more toward angry, and his other fist clenched as well. " You mean The Aburame? " Laxus said, his eyes flicking to the corner to glare at kensei. anger obvious in his eyes. " She talked to me for a while, and then left last time I saw her. if you haven't been back in a while, you'll be surprised by what you see. " Laxus said, a smirk going across his face.
Laxus turned to the girl, exhaling slowly, his fists relaxing as he opened his eyes. " I'm Laxus.. not... Lazlo. " He said, not smiling this time, his voice cold and measured. He had decided that if such a human as this male could make friends with such a cold and uncaring exterior, then he could do it himself. The boy was right, this girl did seem off. Like she held a high voltage within her body. Laxus shook his head slightly. She was so small, she was probably just a gifted raiton user. Hopefully that wouldn't cause problems later. " No thank you, I'm fine for now. " He said, lightening up a bit. This girl was kind, Laxus liked her, much more than the guy standing next to her.

The lemon-pudding-colored hair waved as head it rested on tilted to one side. Sora had noticed the clenched fist and she could swear she see flashes of lightning on the other side of Laxus's body. Inexperienced as she was, the girl did have a knack for noticing and making sense of things. It was, really, just about the only reason why she managed to pass through the academy. "Surprised? How so?" Sora asked with innocent curiosity as she took a candy herself, a lollipop, and began sucking on it. She didn't seem put off at all by the sudden change to a cold exterior. As bright and cheery as the girl was, she really wasn't. Although, it would have been a lie if she said that Laxus left a good impression on her with the way he acted.
Sora figured as she put the remaining candy away after Laxus refused, Sora didn't seem fazed at this information at all despite the care she put into not being discovered. Contrary to popular belief, raiton users couldn't sense electricity any more than any other shinobi could; the girl knew that. At least, not the usual raiton user. For all Sora knew, there might be some bloodline or clan that allowed that. Even then, though, Laxus wouldn't sense any sort of high voltage within the girl's small body, especially since there wasn't anything of that sort to begin with. The last time Sora checked, she didn't accidentally shock people by touching them or anything of that sort. The amount of electricity she had in her small little frame, for the most part, was like any other person. The Rokubi was nice and dormant for the time being.
After having put away the candy, Sora offered Laxus an apology, "By the way, sorry for calling you Lazlo before," and then turned to Kensei, "We might as well try, I guess? Unless you want to buy more things?".

Laxus sighed slightly. The girl didn't like him much, it was evident by the way she talked. Oh well, Laxus had grown accustomed to dislike from others. " Well, you all seem to be her friends, and you'd find out sooner or later... " Laxus said, stepping a bit closer in order to keep the people around them from hearing. " If you didn't know already, she's the new Raikage. " Laxus said, stepping away quickly. " Nah, it is fine. Someone doesn't have good hearing, or is just incompetent, since I told him my name a total of three times before you got here. " Laxus said, smiling and looking at the wares. He noticed a couple of things that sparked his interest, but nothing substantial that he needed.
" Well, I'm going to head off, maybe I'll find someone else I've never encountered. " Laxus said, walking off and waving behind him. He really didn't feel like dealing with this other guy anymore. " See you later Sora Hikari. " Laxus said as he wandered off to the Denkou Ramen shop.

Sora raised an eyebrow at what Laxus said and the stance he took while saying it. Obviously, this was a secret and obviously this older kid was not very good at keeping secrets. It was true Sora and Kensei were friends of Nagisa. However, how was Laxus to be absolutely sure of that? Even with that thought, though, Sora didn't really dislike Laxus. It was pretty difficult for the girl to really dislike anyone. He might have made a mistake in her eyes, but the girl brushed the mistake off as something anyone, herself included, could make. However, Sora didn't say any of her thoughts regarding the matter as Laxus went off.
After Laxus had gone, the girl's gaze returned to Kensei. A giggle escaped Sora's lips as she watched Kensei basically croon to the flak jacket he wanted so much. "Alright, Kensei," Sora agreed as she skipped along behind the chuunin, "By the way, why do you keep on getting Laxus's name wrong?".

Kensei walked into the marketplace looking for a certain shop. He waved at some of the citizens and gave the rest highfives. He kept walking until he reached a scroll rental shop. The owner greeted him with joy. "Well if it isn't my favorite prankster. How you been man? Last time I heard about you was when you made some genin crap himself." Kensei almost forgot about that until now. "You heard about that huh. Well since you brought that up, I want to rent these four scrolls" kensei handed the owner a list. The owner just looked at the list and shook his head. "I see you never changed after all these years." the owner laughed handing kensei the scrolls. "And I see you're still wearing those parachute pants. The 80's are over man." Kensei joked handing the man 500 dollars. He walked out of the shop and headed to the training center.

Laxus walked into the market place, looking around. " I don't have much money, but there is nothing really I can do about it. Without a sensei to give me missions, or even a proper mission hall, I can't even take on missions. Unless I get appointed by a higher up to do one. The chances of that happening even though I've only been here for close to a month are fairly low. " He said aloud, looking around some more. ' I could buy some Jiton scrolls, But then again, I don't want to reveal my full capabilities yet. ' Laxus said, looking into some of the shops.
Laxus wandered around a bit more before sighing and just deciding for himself that he'd go buy a couple of low ranking Doton scrolls. ' I'll need to find a secluded area though.. I like people thinking I'm a one trick dog. Scared my parents half to death when I wrapped those metal wires around their necks and electrocuted them as well as choked them. Pretty damn fine job of hiding it as bare handed choking them if I do say so myself. Even Sensei couldn't tell the difference, But then again, he wasn't the brightest tool in the shed either. He wasn't even an ANBU. I miss sensei, his stories about his exploits were always fun. ' Laxus thought to himself, chuckling. He looked around to find himself in the library, or the Kumogakure equivalent. " Not even a proper library? " Laxus said, shaking his head. This village really had fallen on hard times, just like his sensei said. " I'll take this scroll. " Laxus said, placing a scroll of all E rank Doton techniques on the counter. He then took the necessary coins from his pack, and placed them on the counter. " I'll return it after a short time. " He said. He hated that this was merely a rental, He'd rather just buy the damned thing. Then people would be capable of tracking his abilities then. It was a good thing that it was merely a rental. He'd have to destroy a bit of evidence, but that would take place at another time, or maybe he'd just have to come out and show people his abilities. Nah, he liked the first option.

Laxus walked quickly into the store and retrieved the scroll from his shirt where he had placed it to hopefully deter people from learning his secrets. " Here you go. " Laxus said, placing the scroll on the counter. he turned quickly and exited. He looked around and sighed. There was truly nothing to do within this village. He didn't know of any method to take missions himself, so he couldn't do that. It was clear the man who traveled basically attached to Sora's hip didn't like him, and he was fairly sure Sora wasn't too excited about Laxus. Nagisa had seemed fairly nice, and wasn't nearly as nerve grating as the growth that followed Sora around. " I wonder where I should go now... " Laxus said sighing and looking around once he exited the shop. He could see the hustle and bustle of Kumogakure was still busy, despite the horrible organization. ' We really need to make a library, or some equivalent. Maybe a mission hall so the shinobi can accept small missions on their down time between larger missions. ' Maybe I'll inquire to Nagisa about this, barring anything that removed her from office. She didn't seem that zealous to be the kage of this village. ' Laxus said, noticing he had been staring down a busy street for the last couple of seconds and people were starting to stare. He quickly laughed awkwardly and then started to walk down the street.

Laxus stood in the middle of the street looking form side to side. He didn't have any cash left, and he didn't need to learn anything else for a while. ' I really wish that there was something to do. ' He thought rubbing the back of his neck and looking into the sky seeing a hawk circling above. " Aren't we too high for those types of birds? " He said, his face screwing up with extreme confusion. " Did someone bring it up here? " He said looking around for someone to ask about it. " Does no one else see that? " He muttered looking back into the air. " I wonder why it is circling. " He muttered still standing in the middle of the street, staring at the hawk.

→Kensei stuck to the rooftops to avoid running into pedestrians while looking for Laxus and keeping a lookout for the hawk. He was also being careful because he was carrying Sora. He stopped to look around the area the hawk was circling and he finally spotted Laxus. "Alright there he is." Kensei said as he jumped off the roof and landed a few inches away from Laxus. He put Sora down and let out a loud whistle for the hawk to land on his shoulder. "There you are Larry. Listen, me and Sora were going on a mission later and I may need you to come with."

Laxus turned lightly at the man from earlier. He still didn't know his name, and apparently the man didn't know Laxus's name either. " I'm sorry, do I know you? " Laxus said placing one hand on his hip and pointing at Kensei in a mocking manner. " I recognize Sora, but you I'm not too sure about. " He said, looking up into the air, noticing that the hawk was circling around him. " Huh. " He said, shaking his head. " By the way, you've got the wrong guy, I'm not Larry. " He said, his anger well concealed. In truth he was seething, but he didn't want Kensei to know that. " Well, I guess I'll join you if you need me. I just wonder if this Larry guy will be mad that I replaced him. " Laxus said laughing and shrugging.

' So the guy summons birds? Interesting. ' Laxus thought as he saw the snap and saw the hawk poof. " I'm not Lloyd either, altough the name does sound rather nice. " Laxus said, thinking on it. Should he change his name? Lloyd sounded a lot better than Laxus. " Yeah, I'm a raiton user. " Laxus sad smiling, looking at Kensei. " I'm not very good at medical procedures, but I culd probably jolt you back to life. "He said lauging lightly. " I'm ready right now, but that is irrelevent. " Laxus said shaking his head.
" Do you know of anywhere I could get some missions? " Laxus said, looking at Kensei.
