"Keep them safe for me alright?" She shouted before accelerating to a run. She was nervous about leaving the village alone, but it was the best and only option at the moment. She verified that she had the blueprints she needed as she headed for the pass. JishakuFurimawasu |The Gold Lightning of Kumo|Ninjutsu Specialist|Elemental Control Sunaton(Sand)/Jiton(Magnetism)|Kumogakure|Raiton|Jounin|
Arriving at the gates of Kumo, Jishaku shed a fake tear saying in a mockingly sad voice, "Oh gee golly, I'm home!" As he did this however, he was instantly intercepted by Kumo guards who pestered him for information. It took a moment or two until one of them seemed to begin to tremble. His fingers twitched at first, and then his whole body seemed to follow suit. One of the others jabbed him in the rib with his elbow asking him what the hell was wrong with him. He then turned to Jishaku and asked him just what he wanted. "I want all of you to deliver a message." The man smirked and scoffed at Jishaku, looking at his other men for support. Still, one of them trembled in place having fallen completely into a stupor pointing at Jishaku and stuttering 'G-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g.' For the moment, Jishaku ignored it only grinning towards the man who had a lip on him. He liked that actually, his kitsune grin belying only a little his intention as one of them pointed at his headband and mentioned something about Iwagakure being disbanded.
The truth was, Jishaku was part of the reason the village was disbanded. As he had said before just outside of Kumo in the country, he had to kill a lot of people to get the power he wielded now. He stole one of the headbands off a man he killed in order to use it as a rouse to hide his true identity. The fact was, this was where Jishaku was from and where he learned to hate order, and to hate the shinobi code of ethics. He found the mere idea of a shinobi code of ethics ironic, and became a living embodiment of taking this ethic and twisting it for personal gain.
Grains of sand this whole time had slowly been marching a few yards behind Jishaku, trailing him only by a little. Along the way, they had magnetized small particles of iron and gold in the rocks, Kumo being well known for gold deposits. As they came into a useful distance, the man asked what kind of message they could deliver for him, his voice clearly drenched in sarcasm. "Oh, it's nothing words could convey. Buuuut, I thank you all in advanced for volunteering to give it to her." His grin was menacing, and what he said ticked off the other four guards, the fifth still in shock. He had said 'her' conveying that he was speaking about the Raikage. For all they knew, Jishaku had no clue there was a new one, since the last few were all female. Still however, what he said seemed like a threat. As the air was tense, the man who was in shock yelled Jishaku's nickname in horror, falling onto the ground still pointing. With his smile seeming to literally stretch from ear to ear without teeth showing, he grasped his heart. "How sweet, someone here remembers me."
At that moment, they all drew kunai. Jishaku was in the Kumo bingo book as a dangerous missing-nin, with orders to kill on sight. His hair had gone from blonde to white, so it was no wonder the others didn't pick up on it fast enough. As they rushed forward towards him, he ran through a series of hand seals quickly and sealed their fates, all but one of them. Instantly, what looked like shimmering, glinting, golden sand struck as quickly as lightning would. The attack was intense, stopping all of them in their tracks. Their flesh was grated from their bones in seconds, stripping it down to the bone on various areas of the body. Although bloody, the man who cowered was spared as the others screamed in pain until death took them. Walking up to him and leaning down close to his face he said as his grin faded to a stern stare, "Tell her I'm alive and pissed."
Bursting into sand, he fell into the large heap left and retreated along with it away from the village gates, no traces left except for in the leftover flesh of those who died.

The remaining ninja had no idea what to do. Cowering at the sight of the monster, he kicked at a ground in an effort to escape the scene, eventually managing to hit a full fledged run towards Kumogakure's tower. Screams echoed behind him as villagers saw the bloodied scene. The surviving ninja saw several shinobi blur past him, towards the gates which they promptly closed. When his feet finally gave out, and the man fainted and dropped to the ground, two escorts caught him and finished his journey for him.

[Enter from Mountain Pass]
Kensei saw that the gate was closed. "That can't be good." He knocked out the gate as hard as he could. "Yo open up...it's me Kensei." The gate opened up slowly and he saw why it was closed. a couple of his fellow shinobi were dead on the ground with Anbu investigating the bodies. "What the hell happened here?" He kept walking and looked at the scene. "I'll find out later." He limped to the medical center with Sora still on his back. [Exit to medical center]

Nagisa Aburame | Jounin | Bug User | Genjutsu Specialist | Tactical/Speed Ninja | | Kai resistant genjutsu | Genjutsu Control | Resistance is futile | Mind Mastery | -------------------------------- [return from mountain pass of slightly less doom than preferred] Nagisa approached the gates, to find them closed, allowing only special traffic entry through a much smaller door within the left gate. Two shinobi were trying to calm the annoyed traders as Nagisa approached and bowed her head. "Nagisa Aburame returning." Her tone softened slightly as she turned to the crowd. "Your wait won't be much longer I assure you. Please bear with us." She waited for the guard to check his records for comfirmation before he allowed her to enter. As she walked through the door she found herself at the scene of the crime. There were still stains in the dirt from blood, although most of the mess had already cleaned up. Nagisa stooped to look more closely. There were odd grains of dirt which were certainly lighter than that of Kumo. It was almost like... She shook her head and made her way towards the Kage tower. She would have to look into upgrading the village defenses just in case. Their shinobi forces were growing, but Academy students could only be trained so fast. Her hair stood on end as if some trace of the tension of the attack still remained. Her footsteps quickened. It didn't make sense that someone could kill the guard that easilly. Laxus walked up to the gates, seeing that they were closed. " Darn... I was hoping to see the outside... " Laxus said, looking around. The guards were looking at him like he was an idiot, just standing there staring at the gates. They fidgeted a bit, not knowing the boy by his face. They knew he'd began living in the village, but with recent events, they weren't too sure about him. Laxus looked at them, giving a smile. This slightly put them at ease, up until Laxus walked toward the gates and planted one foot on the gate. " Wall walking technique. " Laxus said, making a single hand sign and focusing chakra into his feet. The guards stepped toward him, and Laxus just nonchalantly walked up the wall, leaving the guards on the ground. " I'm just going to the top, I just want to see outside a bit. I'll be down in a bit. " Laxus said, turning around and walking backward up the wall.
Laxus tilted backward, standing ontop of the village gates. Laxus squatted, looking out over the landscape. He smiled, seeing the long winding mountain path leading to the village, his eyes growing soft from the sight of the mountain peaks that he could see off in the distance. Even though the village was "Hidden in the clouds" It wasn't exactly on the highest peak. It was in the clouds for sure, if the walls weren't there, then it would almost always be foggy around the village. Laxus just sighed. " I wonder what the stream of time has in store for this place... " He said, holding his hand infront of his face, iron sand rotating in his hand. " And I can't wait for the day that I'm capable of showing these villagers my true potential. Maybe then that guy with Sora will recognize me, instead of confusing my name like I'm a second rate citizen! " Laxus said, clenching his fist tightly. He twitched slightly, he had cut himself from the rotating sand. He sighed, opening his hand and plucking the bits out. " Great... at least it isn't that bad. " Laxus said. It was only minor scratches.

Laxus sighed, he'd seen enough of the outside world ofr now. any more and he'd just want to take down the wall. He shook his head smiling as he turned to walk back down, he closed his eyes and readjusted the chakra on his feet, he had dialed it down a bit so it wouldn't be as thought consuming while he silently reflected on his life. " I hate the name Laxus... I might change it to something fun. " He said, thinking to himself as he stepped off the edge of the gates and planted a foot on the wall, feeling the suction.
When Laxus reached the bottom he was greeted with the nice pointy end of a kunai in his back. It wasn't stabbed into him by any means, just unpleasantly stuck in his back, a tiny bit of blood being drawn. " State your name shinobi! " The guardsman said in a gruff voice. Laxus couldn't see his face all that well, but He thought it kind of weird that the Guard would protect his face. " Laxus Makarov." He said his face contorting into a look of puzzlement. ' That is a terrible sounding name. Makarov is okay I guess, but I should have better. ' He thought, pointing to his jacket pocket. " He brought his hands to his neck, placing his thumb under his necklace and sliding it out, producing two dog tags. " If you'd care to see my identification, it is right here. "He said, slowly moving his hand to the side so as to show the tags to the guard. " Okay then. " The guard said, relieving Laxus' back from the feeling of being nearly pierced. " You need to have written permission next time. " The guard said, going back to his post. " Will do... " Laxus said, trailing off near the end. He sighed, and looked around. " I wonder what I should do now... maybe I should go check on buying something, or maybe renting some scrolls. I heard some shinobi talking about it earlier. " Laxus said stretching, and feeling his back. " Not too bad, I'll need to change my shirt when I get home, but at least now I have a training shirt. " He said laughing. Laxus turned and began walking toward the Village center hoping that he'd find something worth while there.

" Hey Sora. " Laxus said walking up to the gates to see the girl waiting probably for Kensei. " I guess we're going to Sunagakure, I have to wonder why though. " Laxus said smiling as he walked next to Sora and sat down, turned the way she was facing and looking up at her. He smiled lightly at her, trying to come off as happy, but he probably looked more creepy than anything. ' So this girl is a Raiton user as well? I bet she doesn't have the same ability as me though. ' Laxus thought to himself. He turned to face the same direction he was looking and a smile spread across his face. This one natural and slightly off putting. He quickly discontinued the smile as a small child too young to really speak very well saw his smile and it's face contorted into one of fear. It's mother quickly picked it up and consoled it. " So what is your specialty? " Laxus asked looking back up to Sora.

《Kumogakure》 《Genin》 《Sealing Master》《Tactical/Combo》
《Blue Bird》 《Run Around》 Sora gave a friendly wave and smile upon seeing Laxus. She didn't mind his creepy smile, seeing that behind it he was genuinely trying to smile in a comfortable manner, and in fact returned the smile with a large, shiny one of her own. She hadn't known him fro long, but his strict, somewhat military way of acting had hinted towards this inability to smile naturally.
Before Sora could get into a greeting, though, a small child started crying for a reason she did not know. Without thought, the girl walked over to the child and mother to help console the child. In fact, she didn't even get the chance to hear Laxus ask her what her specialty was. Sora knew this pair, in fact she knew most people in the village, and didn't feel awkward at all with simply popping in to help. She might not have known why the child was crying, but Sora certainly knew how to make the toddler happy. With a few funny faces, a couple peek-a-boos, and a bit of candy to top it all off (with the mother's permission, of course), the little child was happy again. Happy to see the toddler and mother happy, Sora's smile grew bigger. She exchanged a few casual pleasantries before waving the two off and then returning to Laxus. All in all, the entire series of events hadn't taken more than a few minutes.
"Sorry for that, Laxus," the girl greeted with a smile before freely telling him what she knew of the mission, "Mm, let's see. We're going to Sunagakure in order to find any leads to a man who attacked Kumo recently. He is a former Kumo shinobi by the name of Jisaku Furimasu who went rogue some time ago. Traces of Suna sand was found in relation to him. Of course, this could easily be a trick or Furimasu could have simply passed through the Wind Country's desert, so it's just as likely as it isn't that he doesn't originate from Sunagakure. However, it's the only lead we have to go on." Remembering that Kensei had given her the picture of the man, Sora pulled it out of a pocket and unfolded. She held it up to Laxus so he could clearly see it and even adjust the position of the picture if he needed to but did not let the picture go. It wasn't that she didn't trust Laxus. It was just that she had been entrusted with the picture so she felt responsible for it. To Laxus, Sora probably seemed like a loose-mouthed fool with the way she was easily distracted and easily gave information away. Actually, that was how she usually appeared to other shinobis, especially the ones who taught her. On the other hand, to the civilians she was so familiar with, she was seen as the nice girl that always tried to be helpful.

Laxus's eyes widened as she walked over and consoled the child with the mother. ' She's good with the villagers. She could be useful, although I almost feel bad for thinking about using that to further my goals. ' He thought as Sora walked back after finishing with the child. She had done it masterfully, Laxus thought she did even better than the mother had done herself.
" Oh, it is perfectly fine. It was kinda nice to see someone who isn't above helping the villagers. " Laxus said laughing lightly, it sounded slightly off, but for the most part it sounded normal. " Only suna sand? " Laxus said, looking at the picture for a short while. " Huh, this guy looks kinda mean. " Laxus said, his mind already churning. ' Attacked Kumo? This guy has to have had a serious grudge. I'd like to learn more about this sand technique though. I wonder if it is related to my own abilities. ' He thought looking at the picture. Sora had simply told him possible top secret information, but he was a known ally. It could be a problem, but at least she didn't just turn around and tell the entire village. She probably wasn't told to keep it secret either from other members of the team, so she could have just not been thinking. She was trustworthy. " Okay, I'll ask that one guy you hang out with more when he shows up. Wouldn't want to get you into trouble if you told me too much information. " Laxus said laughing lightly and winking at Sora. For once this actually was a genuinely natural movement, even the laugh seemed natural. " So what is your specialty? " Laxus asked looking up at her.

[Enter] Kensei finally made it to the gate but saw that he was the last one there. "I knew Sora would have beat me here but not you Larenzo." He laughed jokingly. "But since you're here I'm sure Sora told you the mission and what the guy looks like right? Oh and the raikage doesn't want us fighting anybody especially the jisaku guy. Got it?" Kensei looked directly at laxus as he said this. Mainly because laxus looked like the type to fight over anything, but kensei could be wrong.

" Yeah, she gave me a bit of info. " Laxus said turning to Kensei. " I guess I'm just faster. " Laxus said shrugging his shoulders comically and laughing. " Just what did this Jisaku guy do? " Laxus asked, looking up to Kensei as he leaned back on his elbows which were bent behind him making a triangle as his hands touched his hips. " I won't get into any fights, I have no need to, do I? " Laxus said smiling. He didn't get into fights, he was just intensely militant, he hated things to be out of order, and being made fun of by people he had just met. " But suppose we find him, what then? He'll obviously notice our headbands, I mean we can't just hide them as soon as we go through the gates, ANBU forces will pick us up like that. " Laxus said raising his left arm and snapping his fingers. " I think we should also change clothing, it isn't much, but by the way we're dressed, you can obviously tell that we're not from the desert, forest, or islands. Well, Sora might pass for an islander. " Laxus said, taking into consideration she was wearing shorts and a light top. It would seem odd for us to accompany her. " Laxus said sighing. He wasn't very experienced in finding people, but he definitely knew how to run from people.

Kensei listened to the genin's concern about the way they're dressed and kensei looked at his own clothes. Besides the kumo logo on his belt kensei looked like a regular civilian. "I know what you mean but we're just going to ask questions and warn them of this threat. And if this guy sees us or we see him. Id hate to say this but we run away." The man didn't like retreating from battle but he had no choice. "And besides we're going on kumo business so don't worry about how you're dressed. I'm sure those desert people are cool." Kensei chuckled as he reached in his jacket to pull out a pass for the gate. Kensei showed the guard the passed who studied it and later ordered for the gate to be opened. "Alright whenevr you guys are ready let's head out."
