' Old man... ' Laxus thought to himself, looking at his shirt. It was ruined, that broth was far to rich and sultry to ever be capable of washing out of clothing. " Yeah. Uh huh, accidently. " Laxus said, turning from Bakaschnitzel and makeing several handsigns. " Bunshin no jutsu. " Laxus said sighing, another one of him poofing into thin air. " You check the sho... No, you check the residential district, I'll check the shopping district. " Laxus said to the clone, giving it a nod. Laxus himself running off to the shopping district.
" Gotcha. " The clone said, running off toward the residential district.

Laxus returned to Bakaschnitzel, sitting down on the grass. " There, I got the mutt. Took much longer than it should have, but oh well. " Laxus said, raising one hand to scratch his hear with his pinky. " You know, I'm really beginning to wonder if it was the guy in the ramen shop who was lazy and not you. " Laxus said, sighing. He had accidentally let that one slip, and now Bakaschnitzel would have his hide for it. ' Great... ' Laxus thought to himself, laying on his back, inhaling deeply. " So what's next old man, more training perhaps? " Laxus said, his filter of his thoughts compared to how he says it obviously fried. ' Ugh, that stupid mutt... ' Laxus said, inhaling again and exhaling slowly. He had run or walked the entire length of the town, all because of that Giggles... ' Who the crap names their dog Giggles? ' Laxus thought, scoffing at the idea. ' Some day, I'm going to get a dog... I'm going to feed it that stupid Giggles. ... Giggles! ' Laxus thought to himself, closing his eyes momentarily.

"You look exhausted. Good. There's more where that came from too." The old man's expression softened, but only slightly, when the boy spoke. He stared at the boy a moment before he moved, but he moved with speed and strength unbecoming of his age. Smashing a smoke bomb on the ground, he jumped behind the boy, and bound his arms behind him. After verifying the strength of the knot his mouth curled into a smile. He pointed towards the tower in the center of the training area. No doors or windows decorated it's surface, just sheer wall. "Climb." In order to climb the tower the boy would need to learn the wall walking technique, but without instruction or even a demonstration he would first need to develop the humility needed to ask for help. The boy learned very fast, but it would be nearly impossible to learn a technique if he barely knew it existed if at all.

Laxus's eyes widened as he found himself standing, AND bound! " Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" Laxus said, looking at the tower. His hands were tied fairly strongly, and too close, so he'd only be able to make one or two handsigns, not enough to just start churnning out clones to make a pyramid of sorts. " Hmmm... " Laxus said, sitting down looking at the tower. " There has to be some trick to this, some sort of method... " Laxus said, thinking. Laxus sat there infront of the tower for several minutes, eyes closed, head tilted slightly. Suddenly Laxus opened his eyes and twisted around to look at Bakaschnitzel. " Hey, s there a technique for this? " Laxus said, no other alternative being thought of. He wasn't fast enough to just sheerly run it, and Bakaschnitzel knew that. Laxus had to have a technique for it, something to aid in his ascent.

((aww I was hoping for a battle of inner turmoil, eventually resulting in him giving up and asking... oh well))
The old man frowned. The boy didn't take nearly as long as he was supposed to to ask the question, which meant the right obstacles were not being placed in front of him. Bakaschnitzel knew the boy to be arrogant, a costly weakness in the shinobi world, but he was unsure how to beat it out of him. With a sigh, he walked up to the wall, but rather than humping, climbing or even stopping he simply kept walking. The bend from the ground to the wall was awkward as always, but the rest had become little more than second nature to the man as he redirected the chakra to his feet. With every step he felt his feet 'snap' to the wall like magnets, keeping the connection to the wall almost as secure to that of the ground. When he reached a decent height, he turned around and looked down to the boy. "This is an exercise in chakra control, but it opens a similar door as when you first learned to walk. To complete this jutsu you must concentrate your chakra into your feet, while keeping it at just the right balance to attach you to the wall. If you use too little, then you simply fall off. If you use too much then you will be repelled." At that he turned and finished his ascent to the top of the tower where he sat, staring down at the boy. "One more thing!" He shouted, feeling strangely helpful. "You can't doubt yourself. Most ninja learn by running up the wall, this allows a delay before you realize you can't walk on walls."

( Nah, Laxus is too smart, he knows relativly what people expect from him, and he'll either further their thoughts, or stop them dead. Whichever makes people more confused. xD )
" Tch... not even telling me how to do it, besides telling me not too much or too little... " Laxus muttered under his brath, walking up to the wall and placing one foot on it.
Laxus pulsed a bit of chakra into the wall, feeling the bottom of his shoe become a little attracted to the wall. Laxus tried to bring himself up, but realised that the connection wasn't strong enough. Laxus sighed and breathed in deply, remembering the night years ago, two years before the man he knew as sensei found him. Laxus's eyes opened, lightning racing across them. Laxus surged chakra into his foot, lightning visibly gathering, and then discharging into the building, leaving a small foot shaped indention, and a large scar of black across it for about a foot in any direction. Laxus simply fell backwards, breathing hard. He hadn't passed out this time, but then again, he was quite a bit stronger. Why had he even tried to use that memory in order to find a middle ground. Laxus shook that memory from his mind, and instead thought about something else, sighing and closing his eyes, feeling his body regenerating power as he began to micro sleep.

( Yes, Laxus did just waste 20 points of chakra to attempt to go up the wall. Needless to say that was a bit too much. )

Kensei walked inside and was impressed by the new training area. "I got to try this place out later." He saw a genin training and learning new jutsu. He took the wall so he could watch him train. Or try to watch. Instead he started to doze off and fell asleep since he hasn't slept ever since he came back from his mission.

Laxus sighed, standing back up and stretching. Laxus looked around, noticing that someone else had come to watch. ' Darn, no more confusing Baka-whatever. ' Laxus said, sighing. He placed one foot on the wall and made a single handsign, Tori the bird sign. This sign was instrumental in teaching academy students to channel chakra, so it sould work in roughly the same fashion. " Channel the chakra slowly... " Laxus said, feeling the chakra well up into his feet Laxus closed his eyes and slowly opened them, his foot coated in a thin sheet of chakra. " Now focus it. " Laxus said, focusing the layer of chakra onto the sole of his foot. Laxus began to attempt to pull himself up with it, feeling the suction of his chakra gripping the tree. " Wall walking technique. " Laxus said, applying the same amount to the other foot Laxus placed both feet on the wall, looking up at Bakaschnitzel. " Old man, what is next? " He said, alking up the wall, smiling at the old man. " Hopefully something good for my learning. " Laxus said, flipping himself up onto the top of the tower next to Bakaschnitzel.

The old man didn't hesitate. As soon as the boy had made most of his way up the wall, several shuriken were launched in his direction as bakaschnitz launched off the rooftop. The kunai were too close for simple deflection to work, and the boy would more than likely lose control of his chakra if he didn't jump himself. He glanced across the field at the new arrival, but before he could trade off his student the man fell asleep. No matter how the boy responded to his attack, the old man's response would be the same. "Your next task is twofold. Remove your binds, and land a hit on me." Watching the boy closely his body shook slightly. He was getting old, and the day's activities weren't exactly relaxing. Even so, a genin would have a hard time if he got serious, which he wasn't. The boy would have to learn the rope untying jutsu, an incredibly simple jutsu, compared to those he already learned, but he would still need to learn it. "I'll give you a hint. you only need to loosen the binds, your hands can do the rest."
((I am assuming of course you don't use the kunai to cut the binds. Since he was tied up it was a perfect opportunity to 'teach' the rope jutsu.))

Laxus pulsed chakra into his feet, forcing himself to pop off of the tower, over the shuriken. Laxus followed Bakaschnitzle close, a smile crossing his face. " Oh come now old man. " Laxus said, sighing and focusing chakra into the rope. Laxus thought carefully, feeling his chakra attach to every single thread of the rope. Laxus closed his eyes shortly before he hit the ground about two seconds after Bakaschnitzle would. Laxus pulsed more chakra into the rope, moving it giving him an amazing amount of slack. Laxus twisted his hands quickly while doing this, freeing his hands completely. Upon hitting the ground, Laxus rolled to the side, rubbing his wrists. " Looking a bit shakey there. " Laxus said smiling.
Laxus didn't give the old man a single moment to recover from jumping off of the tower. Laxus didn't feel too great, even though he had rolled perfectly, causing absolute minimal damage to himself, something he'd learned from two long years of being thrown off of cliffs. Laxus strung together several handsigns and smiled, running at Bakaschnitzle. " Raikou Boruto no jutsu. " Laxus said, pointing his palm at the old man. It wouldn't severely hurt the old man, but he'd definately feel this C ranked shock.
(( Meh, Bouncing off of the tower with chakra should give him enough force to dodge them. xD But yeah, this was a fairly good opportunity. The reason I'm at 19 instead of just 29 is because Laxus used 10 points of chakra to blast himself off, increasing the speed of his jump so he could dodge the shuriken. ))

 Kensei Uchiha Chuunin|||Uchiha|||Katon|||Raiton|||Bird Summoner|||=========================================== Kensei woke up a couple of minutes later, feeling rejuvenated. He looked up and saw the genin still training but now he's tied up and fighting the old man. "That's an odd way to train." He said while doing a couple of stretches and removing his bandages and jacket. He began doing a two finger, one handed push ups afterwards while thinking of a new combination of moves. "Only way that could work is with a Kage Bunshin. But a lightning clone will do for now." He mumbled to himself while switching hands and began doing more. =========================================== Chakra Points:

Enter from iHeart Medical Hospital"Kensei, Ken, Kensei Kensei-sei," Sora had turned her original simple tune involving Kensei's name into a somewhat elaborate creation of her own on her way from the hospital to the training grounds. She continued to sing, "Ken-Ken-Kensei-sei...," until she saw the new training grounds, "Woah...." Sora stopped in her tracks as she stood between two of the four areas that made up this newly renovated facility. She observed this new find as she sucked on her lollipop, which she had begun eating somewhere between here and the hospital. Then, the girl shifted her focus from the landscape to specific people. She was right in choosing to go to the training grounds first. There, besides two shinobis sparring in an interesting fashion, was a backwards Kensei, . Taking courtesy into account, Sora trotted over so that she was kind of close to Kensei without intruding in his personal space and then plopped down in the grass as he did his handstand push-ups.

Warrior's Rush:

Sora followed Kensei's movements as he proceeded to perform sit-ups. Although, rather than just following them with her eyes, she opted to follow them with her entire head. As her head moved back and forth, the girl explained herself, "Sort of. I forgot to apologize when you came by the hospital, so sorry for suddenly passing out during a mission, especially since Haruka went missing as well. Maybe if I hadn't passed out, we could have done something about her.... Also, you mentioned a second attacker. What happened to it? You said you blacked out when you faced it, but you didn't explain what happened to it in the end."
Why was Sora asking a question at the end? Because it was kind of obvious that Haruka's disappearance was related to the second attacker somehow, perhaps even related to how Kensei had knocked out only to find that the... whatever had disappeared. Maybe Haruka had been taken away by the whatever, meaning that if there were any tracks left, her retrieval should be simple enough. Sora wasn't exactly sure, but it was the best idea she had.

((you kind of di dthe insta-learn thing again there. Especially since you used the jutsu immediately after releasing an absurd amount of chakra, and finished it before landing. Especially since he hadn't explained it until he saw the boy land. Don't cop out like that again, it will be invalidated if you do.))
Bakaschnitzle watched as the boy fired the chakra bolt. He sidestepped the bolt with only a little difficulty. "I'm old, but I am not that old. You did well to give it an extra punch, but you didn't set it up." He watched the student closely, only paying the new arrivals the slightest attention. He was a full rank ahead of the boy in speed, and much farther in experience. A straightforward attack wasn't likely to work.
