Team PolarisMorana was born as the second daughter to a Houndoom (Shard♀) and Manectric (Valkist♂). Morana was very close to her older sister, Zosee the Electrike. Zosee was an explorer, but when Morana was only 6 months old one of Zosee's expeditions went wrong and no one has heard from her team ever again.
Saddened by the loss of her older sister, Morana became secluded and avoided contact with other Pokemon her age. Because of this, many of the other kids picked on her. Some even got violent.
Because of this, Morana grew up as an outcast, always terrified of others. She's always nervous, and afraid of the consequences of any action she makes. Constantly tense, she tries to break any conversation she somehow gets into. Preferring to be alone, Morana is not easy to get along with.
However, the few who have earned her trust finds her a very kind and caring individual. Because of everything she has gone through, she is understanding and forgiving.
Morana sometimes hates how cowardly she is, and memories of her brave older sister worsens it. Because of this, Morana had promised herself long ago that she will create her own Exploration Team and overcome her shortcomings...
One thing that she's found difficult is the fact many Pokemon at the guild are species of prey that she has grown up eating. She's sticking to apples and berries and the like for now, but it's hard to resist the natural urge for fresh meat.
Despite being one of the founders of Team Polaris, almost everyone treats her like a baby sister.

Team PolarisIncultyr is, um, well, pretty much the opposite of Morana. Hatched from an egg buried deep in the mountains, Incultyr had to dig himself out just after he was born. He spent most of his life on the mountain, eating away at the soil, driving other Pokemon off of his territory. He came in contact with pokemon civilization for the first time when an Exploration team ran into him.
Facing the three of them at once, he was beaten quickly. Ashamed, Incultyr redoubled his training and visited the Castle. There, he learned the Pokemon language and Footprint runes. He tagged along with a few Exploration teams, finding that he loved the thrill and challenge of exploring. And that is why he decided to start his own team.
Incultyr is ambitious. The most important thing to him is probably getting stronger and letting others know it. He says little (except within the team where he takes the leadership role), and is often brutally honest. Because of his upbringing (or lack of) he is extremely pragmatic and has little use for fairytale ideals.

Team PolarisAltus was born and grew up at Warrior's Plateau. He lived amongst a group of Riolu whose territory spanned the edge of a canyon. He was happy there.
One day, an Eevee named Veritas stumbled upon the Riolus while searching for a flower that would cure her friend's sickness. Altus got to know her, though the other Riolu didn't like her.
She visited often, and the two became fast friends. Then one day, Veritas asked Altus to form an exploration team with her. He agreed, but the other Riolus didn't. They attacked Veritas, but Altus protected her and the two ran off.
The two then created Team Decaudia, who specialized in travelling through the wilds to take requests from Pokemon that lived too far from the palace to have their missions posted.
A year before Altus joined Team Polaris, he and Veritas were attacked and separated. He has been trying to find her for the entire year, but has caught no trace of her. Presuming her dead, he made the difficult decision to go back to the plateau.
He hired an exploration team to escort him through the plateau, and that was Team Polaris. After many battles, the team finally reached the canyon, where they were attacked by the Riolus. They made it clear that they did not welcome Altus back, and the team came back as fast as they could before the fighting got too serious.
Now teamless and homeless, Altus joined Team Polaris.
Altus is polite and well-mannered. He's very knowledgeable about the northern deserts, and enjoy talking about anything he has a good knowledge of. Altus is sociable and will try to strike up a conversation if he can.
While he tries not to show it, Altus has never gotten over losing Veritas. Altus had loved her dearly, and her disappearance has affected him deeply.
Altus has developed a sort of big-brotherly concern for Morana, and is always protective of her.

Team PolarisChronicler grew up in a forest somewhere. Where there were lots of bird pokemon and bug pokemon and just about everything that liked to eat berries. So, more or less, all pokemon. And unfortunately, Cherubis are very delicious and sweet like berries. They were at the literal bottom of the food chain, since they produced most of their own food.
Despite this, the Cherubi loved writing stories. She managed to learn how to write by holding a pen in her teeth and by using her second head like a hand. She loved to just write and write and write. She occasionally sketched pictures to to go along with her stories.
She passed away her days through other artistic pursuits, including playing music with whatever instrument she can make and making intricate bracelets with strings of grass. Other interests of hers includes healing, humans, various games, and oddly enough, archery.
Finding that constantly trying not to get eaten wasn't very productive for any of her hobbies, the Cherubi dubbed herself "Chronicler" and headed to the Palace of the Sun, where she hopped aboard the first team she could- Team Polaris.

Team PolarisCrown was born to the King and Queen of the Monarch Kingdom in Mystic Woods. Crown grew up learning the responsibilities and expectations required of her for when she takes the throne.
After her father died recently (He got eaten by a Pidgeotto), her mother went into mourning and left the running of the Kingdom in the hands of her daughter for a while. It was during then that a Swellow passing through dropped an egg she was carrying, and it had been crown's idea to keep the Egg hostage so that the Swellow would not eat them.
Team Polaris came about a week later and stole the egg back for the Swellow. After that incident, the Queen sent Crown to the Kingdom of the Sun as an ambassador and to learn their ways (And learn how not to get eaten).
Crown is calm and quiet, observant of the world around her. She cares deeply for her people, and wishes the best for them. She is very cautious and diplomatic, hoping to solve things through diplomacy rather than violence.

Team PolarisAce had been destined for the Nursery when a Swellow dropped his egg in the Mystic forest. The Monarch Caterpie Kingdom had taken his egg as a hostage in hopes it would keep the Swellow from eating them.
His egg was rescued by Team Polaris, and the Swellow had given it to them. So he hatched for Team polaris.
When Team Polaris had taken him to the Hospital for a check-up, it was found that Acer lacked Chlorophyll, which allows normal Turtwigs to produce some of their own food. This is why he's a golden colour. Because of this, Acer eats a lot more than normal Turtwigs do.
Acer can finally start to string simple one or two word sentences together and understand basic language. He's very active and mischivious, though he tires quickly because of his condition.

Team PolarisCrescendo's egg was found buried in the frigid sea by a Sealeo and his cousin Dewgong. The two of them were rather confused as to what it was, and neither of them wanted a baby to take care of.
So they ventured through the Frigid Sea in hopes of perhaps finding someone who could take the egg in. that was when they discovered a cave system, and upon exploring the unstable thing, caused the tunnel to collapse. The Dewgong managed to escape, and immediately asked a rescue Mission to help save his cousin.
Team Polaris took the mission after after fighting off several angry Gyaradoses, brought Sealeo back. The two of them left the team with a bag of rewards, which included the egg. They decided to simply leave it with the team, as many orphaned eggs were hatched and brought up in the guild.
The team agreed to keep the egg, despite Incultyr's protests. It hatched several days later to reveal a rather ugly-looking fish. Since it was a fish and needed water, Atra agreed to take care of it, and somehow got an entire aquarium set up in his room for it. He was the one who named him.
About a week later, Atra decided that since Cress was being pretty useless, to drag him to the Crystal chamber and evolve. He got more than he bargained for, seeing as how Milotics are huge...
Crescendo is very calm, and his evolution seems to be allowing him to develop at a much quicker pace than Acer. He is now able to speak fluently, though big words are still beyond him, and seems to hold an extraordinary mastery over his abilities. Like most Milotics though, he dislikes violence and always tries to break it up.

Team PolarisAmaterasu was born as an Absol in a dark cave up the mountains. When she left the cave, she first found the "Celestial Brush", a brush that gives her the power to alter the world around her. She first used her power to draw the sun, banishing the darkness that covered the mountaintops.
Through her travels, she met two other Pokemon similarly blessed like her, but they looked up to her with reverence. The first one, a Dragonair named Yomigami called her Amaterasu, and somehow, she knew that was the right name for her. She learned the brush stroke, Rejuvenation from him, and continued on.
She met the Ratatta named Tachigami next, and he taught her to fight, and the brush technique Power Slash. He then told her of a coming evil, and begged her to go and stop it.
And so, drawn by the darkness and perversion of the reverse world she came to the guild...

No one except the Brush gods seem to be able to understand Amaterasu. To the outside world she seems like she is nothing but a white Absol who does little except the things you expect dogs to do. She is deeply loyal though, and has a strong sense of goodness and justice. She rarely hesitates, her courage boundless, always sure that her path is for the best.

Team PolarisTo most People, Amaterasu is a white Absol, lacking the usual head-spike and with visible ears. Her tail is furry, tipped in black, and tufts of curly hair comes off of her shoulder, elbow, and knees. To those blessed by the celestial brush, they can see red markings on her forehead, around her eyes, and some on her shoulder.

Team PolarisSuicune doesn't really remember where she was born or how she grew up, her memory of her childhood is about as good as anyone's, though she lacks the second hand memory of stories told by family. Her most vivid and oldest memory though, was when she went to the Tower of Ashes, called by some power she did not understand.
She saw the Rainbow Bird, Ho-oh, very briefly. The other Legendary's voice seemed to fill her head, showing her the story and the origin of the original Suicune, of the original Beast trio. Her own existence was a mistake, caused by who knows what, a simple clone, a mockery, of the real Purifying Rain.
Suicune decided that though she was a mistake, she would be determined to change the world for the better. She travelled the lands, helping whom she could, and saw how mortals stared at her in awe. Though at first she attempted to stay their equal, she realized that was impossible and struggled with taking on the mantle of a god.
Pokemon looked up to her, expected her to do what they could not. She struggled to meet their expectations. The cycle grew and grew, and Suicune constantly feels overwhelmed by the challenges she has to face.
She eventually settled down at the Emerald Pools, creating a small oasis within the Rainforests. She mostly stayed out of sight, preferring to be the phantom that the locals questioned the existence of. It took the pressure off her, and allowed her to rest.
Then one day, something went wrong. Someone came to her home and poisoned it. Filled it with poison so strong even with all her might she could not dispel it. She despaired as she helplessly watched it rip apart the forests she called home, killing countless Pokemon, destroying numerous families and clans.
A call came to her a week into the disaster, and she answered it, the call of a Golden Flute. There she met Team Polaris, who had risked everything to come ask of her aid. Two of their members laid dying, having jumped into the Poison in order to retrieve the flute that had been taken from them by an enemy. She could only tell them that she could not be of any help.
It was then that came an odd Absol -the Sun Goddess- who pushed Suicune into the water and somehow, seemingly amplified her ability to purify the water. In seconds the opaque purple taint of the poison was gone, and Amaterasu vanished, leaving everyone shocked and unsure of what had happened.
It was then that Team Polaris went back to the guild, desperate to save their two poisoned members. She came along, intrigued by their bravery, and curious of who the Absol truly was...

Team PolarisSuicune is, well, a Suicune. She is typical of her kind, with her light blue hide, white diamonds, purple mane, crystal headdress, and tail ribbons that constantly flows ahead of her as if a wind blew from behind. She holds herself proudly, gracefully...or at least she tries.
