[_Characteristics] Dark-colored horns, large pointed ears that move interdependently, and a line of demonic runes tattooed down his spine
[_______Quirks] Has Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation which causes him to feel fatigued often when having done strenuous activities, gives him irregular heartbeat patterns, and can, on occasion, cause him to faint. Although the condition is not life-threatening, Faolan spends much of his time relaxing or doing activities that doesn't require much strain on him. Though, most of the inactivity could actually be due to laziness.
[____Backstory] Faolan was abandoned as an infant on the doorstep of a church presumably by his mother, her reasons unknown. Unfortunately for the baby, his luck would get worse before better, as the church hadn't be in operation in sometime and lacked a staff to notice the infant's wailing, nor to bring him in from the rain.
As fate is not especially cruel to innocents, a carnival was passing through the area and more than one of the travelers heard the cries of the baby and went to fetch him. The carnival's owner took one look at the pathetic, rain-soaked infant and promptly took him in as his own, giving him to the care of the women of the carnival to nurse the child back to health.
Faolan's life was rather mundane for living in a traveling carnival. He grew up with the other children in the troupe, playing and learning along side them. He hadn't even truly been aware he was different, possessing a pair of horns, till his adopted father told him, thinking he would do well taking the place of the fortune teller that had decided to retire. Getting a quick course in the finer points of working the fortune telling con, Faolan was given a costume and set to work, amazed at how many believed him because his horns made him seem mysterious.
Several years later, he still works as the fortune teller and has become rather good at conning people into believing he knows their future or can commune with their passed loved ones. Any curiosity he's had about his true heritage or the mother that abandoned him has been fleeting, being happy among the carnival, though there are times when customers comment on his horns and remind him that the family he lives with are surrogates that took him in after his birth family threw him away.
