A roleplay between Redbud-Tree [Ellandra] and Jynk [Faolan & Ziazan]
Location: Ellandra's apartment and other fun & interesting places
Time: Early morning.
Weather: Pleasant.

Ellandra had been drifting in and out of a doze for the last little while, not really aware of anything other than the fact that she was comfortable, and sleepy. Eventually, however, awareness pulled at her, dragging her from the world of dreams to the world of the awake, and she moaned a little, blinking as she started to truly wake. She glanced around sleepily, not really taking in anything until she spotted the curled up form of a man on her bed - w-wait. . . .there was a man in her bed? She stiffened, jerking into full wakefullness, only to relax a bit when she remembered who it was and the circumstances of why he was there.
Not a lot, however. It was still rather awkward waking up to having a man in her bed, however nice it was just to see him asleep rather than passed out. She would have risen and gone to clean up and get dressed, but she didn't want to accidentally wake him - he needed the rest. . .
There was no other reason than that.
Really, there wasn't.
Why did she feel like she was lying to herself?

Faolan drifted somewhere between the realms of waking and dream, the scent of grapefruit somehow familiar and strange. He could feel Ziazan curled up against his stomach where he was wrapped around the small Essentic and that was some comfort as he opened his eyes slowly to take in the unfamiliar room. He lay there, aware someone was lying in the bed behind him having felt them move.
Without moving his head and managing to stay relaxed to appear still asleep, he scanned what he could see of the room, deciding it was a woman's . . . or he'd been hitting the clown's hooch a lot harder than normal and would have an interesting story to never share with anyone ever.
Slowly, the previous day flowed back to him and he smiled, remembering where he was and who was laying behind him. He stayed still, though, waiting to see what Ellandra would do.

Ellandra lay there for quite some time, simply watching Faolan. If he was waking at all, she hadn't noticed. She was still trying to sort everythgn out in her head. So many things had happened in the last few days; when she thought about them all it sent her mindreeling. She needed to do some thinking though, and so she still made no move; she just lay there, watching the fortune-teller and thinking.
She'd met the fortune teller only about two days ago - not two full days, at that - and yet she was already growing more comfortable around than she had around nearly anyone else, save perhaps Misha - but Misha didn't have a threatening bone in his body, and Faolan could be very intimidating if he so wished. So what was it about this man that didn't make her afraid?
She wasn't sure at all. . .
But she liked it. And Faolan.
She very, very much liked him too. Perhaps more than liking, really, but - surely that whole "love at first sight" thing was only in children's stories?

Faolan moved a little, stretching his legs out and wishing he hadn't slept in his jeans for the second night in a row. He nudged Ziazan away from his belly and then gently moved the sleeping creature up to the pillow as he sat up, moving his legs over the side of the bed. Standing up, he stretched, making a little happy groan, then shuffled to the bathroom.

Ellandra watched him go and giggled to herself. He looked so.... well, half asleep. She looked over to the pillow where Ziazan rested and smiled at it. It was so very tiny when it was all curled up. A small portion of her mind wondered if Misha had been this small when he'd been a Proto. . . it was worth wondering about, if only for a moment.
She wasn't sure what she would do when Faolan came back, though. . .

After some moments, Faolan came out of the bathroom, staying in the doorway and looking at the girl in the bed. A somewhat shy smile tugged at his lips, his eyes still soft from sleep and hair still ruffled from the pillow. He wasn't really sure what to do now.
"Morning," he said, voice still soft and slightly raspy from having just woken up.

"G-good morning," Ellandra said, blushing. She wasn't quite sure what to do . . . this was . . . well, rather awkward, but. . .
She smiled a little. "A-are you feeling better n-now?"
There - that was a nice, safe question. No awkwardness involved.

Faolan nodded. "Yeah. Thanks for letting me stay." He moved to walk to the bed, but thought better of it and stayed where he was, still unsure how Elle was handling waking up to a strange man in her home. Plus, not getting dressed or anything else kept him from having to face the inevitable of going back to the carnival.

Ellandra wrinkled her nose. "I w-wasn't going to let you leave, truthfully," she admitted, looking rather sheepish and not quite daring to get out of bed just yet. "I - I didn't want you to go . . ."

At her words, Faolan walked to the bed and sat down beside her, pulling her into a hug. Morning awkwardness be damned, he wanted to hold her and never let go. "Didn't want to leave, either. Still don't."

Ellandra sighed a little, softly, and leaned into the hug. All feelings of awkwardness were, well, not vanished really, but very asily ignorable all of a sudden. "You h-have to, though," she said quietly, then bit back a smile. "Y-you don't want your dad to - to give you to th-the clowns, r-right?" She was much more comfortable than she should be, really, but she just couldn't bring herself to care in the least.

"I can handle the clowns. I keep cheap booze stashed just for the occasions when I need to distract them," the young man chuckled. He thought about how he felt for the girl. True he'd fallen in love a few times before, as his laid-back nature made it easy for him to fall in and out of love with whomever took his fancy, but this, what he felt for Ellandra, it was different.
He moved his head a bit to sneak kisses to her neck, hugging her close to his bare chest again. A soft, happy murmur escaped his throat as he explored her neck and shoulders with tiny kisses.

Ellandra squeaked and her face flared up into a brilliant blush - though she made no move to stop Faolan. She was frozen, unable to move. Seconds later her eyes rolled up into her head and she passed out. The last vague thought she had was that she really didn't mind this if it wasn't so . . . overwhelming. . ..

The young man stopped moving as soon as he felt her go limp in his arms. He pulled back and looked down at her, concern and worry clouding his expression. "Ellandra?" The thought occurred to him that the girl suffered the same condition he did. That did make them quite the pair.
Moving her in his arms so she was cradled against his chest, he stroked her hair. He wasn't too sure how to wake someone else up that was unconscious since it was usually him that was blacking out. Shaking her shoulder gently, he said her name, keeping his voice low so as not to startle her. He wasn't too sure he should leave her alone if she was like him.
