This forum is meant to alert us of any hiatuses you may be going on one in the future or if you are on one now. This is to help us with keeping track of the spawn and their guardians, so that we can better keep track of things like time needed for growth, as well as rehoming. This is a simple way to avoid the chances of your child being taken away, you need only to sign up here if your going away. If your computer has died you can always have a friend in the shop do this for you.
Please remember if you plan on going away or are unable to post for any significant length of time please post this form in the thread below. Newly added is the other coloration changes as well as the Returning from hiatus post since we don't always notice the requests to come off of Hiatus in the main thread since we are both quite busy with many aspects of the shop.
Haitus Rules: Rules are effective immediately as of Feb/08/11
1.) These rules were created to try and stop the system from being abused.
2.) While on hiatus you do not qualify for: Flat sales, growth slots, customs, other events the involve aquiring a child. If you wish to participate in these events you must come off of hiatus.
3.) If you get a growth slot and go on hiatus the artist(s) have the right to put your growth on hold until you come off of hiatus.
3.) While on hiatus if you post in your journal/class/pd it will not count as activity. You need to come off of hiatus for any participation to count. The purpose of the Hiatus thread is that it is to be used in situations where you will not be around and is meant to be used temporarily not permanently.
4.) Henceforth we retain the right to pm people who are on hiatus for more then 6+ months. If we don't get a response from you within a month from the date the pm was sent we retain the right to re-home your child.
5.) Exceptions to the rule above can vary depending on the situation and wither you informed us in advance or at least during your hiatus.
(People who applied before Feb/08/11 are exempt from the rule for the moment)
