Flash cards are fun! (ABC's Journal)
"So, what is this letter again?" Mizu asked as she held up a flashcard to her small charge. Lucina blinked before smiling.
"C!" she chimed as she clapped her hands. "Know all da letters Mama, can do something else?"
Mizu shook her head. "You have to prove you know all the letters Luci, and then we'll go on to learning to spell your name." Mizu explained, to which Lucina gave a sort of 'humph' "What was that sound for?"
"Know how to spell my name," she commented grumpily. Mizu raised an eyebrow and set down the flashcards.
"Is that so? Spell your name for me then." she said. Lucina smiled again.
"L-U-C-I-N-A!" she prattled off.
Mizu was shocked. "When did you learn that Luci?" Luci giggled.
"Been practicing by self. See my name on paper, learned what letters were on paper, so knew it was me." she said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Well now, aren't you smart. How about we practice numbers then?"
"Yay! Can I count to 100 today?"
"We'll...see"
