Ascended General Niter
Location: C8
Action: Picking up Magnus, watching Laurelite's show, standing by

"You came." Niter was rather delighted for it. He stopped, then, and picked up Magnus from where he coiled about his splintered legs with both arms. It was easier to cradle the cat, but if Magnus wanted to hang out on his shoulders and chew on the feathers of his outfit, Niter wouldn't stop him.

And he essentially had front-row seats to watching Laurelite pull off a cinematic boss move. It was like running out of time on Leviathan's burn phase in Final Fantasy XVI and getting absolutely demolished, only it was a powerful chaos laser rather than a water hammer. Still delightful, though, and it came with the added effect of feeling the chaos permeating the air around them.

It didn't look like Laurelite's growing entourage of friends liked it much, though. They didn't even thank her for blowing the scales off of the giant sky lizard. He was still waiting for the Princesses to do anything to it, let alone something that actually compared to what Laurelite just did.

"Thanks for blasting it like that. And no offense, but, your friends don't have any manners."

Oh well. He couldn't get to the Calamitous Hollow, couldn't mental math out how to teleport up on top of a thing that was thrashing around at such a speed, so he shifted his attention to his Queen. If anyone was going to try to hit her, he would just have to disappear such antics with magic of his own.

Character: General Arsenolite
Location: Above C2
Action: outside shield, attempting to move the scale

Arsenolite gritted his teeth, staring up at the scales that had landed on the shield. No. No, he wouldn't let the people around him get hurt. These things were definitely putting a dent in the shield, and the immense pressure would probably put cracks in the damn thing far sooner than they all would have liked.

He glanced around, but he didn't have the time or ability to rally anybody. He'd just have to get up there and hope he could do his best, and maybe someone else would come up, too.

So up he teleported, staggering briefly at the feeling of being out of the shield, but he shook it off and began shoving at the scale. Just push it off. That's all he needed to do. Then maybe, he could move on to the next. If he didn't die trying to protect Earth in the next minute.

He blinked as he realized there were others helping, and he couldn't help a cocky grin, even here at the end of the world.

"Hey guys. Ready to save the ********' world?" he asked, panting slightly as he shoved at the scale and wished he had gloves because owww fuuuuck this thing hurt, but he tried to ignore it.

Super Sailor Solaris

    post 1 2 3 4
    Location: I7
    Action: Bearing the burden alone

Slamming the spike down into the spot it had clearly indicated for her wasn't so hard. Yeah, she was tiny, yeah, she didn't weigh that much. But it didn't seem to quite matter in that moment. The spike did what it needed, sinking into the quasi-ground. She smiled as she stared down at it, her hand still around the hilt.

And then s**t really started.

Solaris made a choked sound as energy roared through her. Her other hand came to the hilt, needing to balance herself as the foreign power ran rampant. It wasn't... pain. It wasn't agony. The energy flowed through her body, and though it wasn't the most comfortable of things... she could withstand it. It pulled at her own energy, and for a moment, she had an alarming sensation of... of a connection.

A connection to something far beyond herself and the spike and... and what?

Her pulse was wild, hyped up from running and then the intensity of the energy putting the additional strain on her systems. It almost felt like it would burst, either inside her or somehow rip itself out through her ribcage... it nearly made her sick. Solaris adjusted her stance slowly, awkwardly, feet shifting tiny bit by bit till they were firmly planted in a wide, balanced stance. She needed the balance. She needed the help. Keeping herself up was... difficult.

Her wings puffed up in ruffled feathers, flapping as if in an instinct to move away from the spike but... she remained. Her pulse... evened out? Solaris lifted a brow, head tilting slightly as she considered that. Each time her heart beat... so did the energy. Pulses. Connected.

"What are you?"

She wasn't sure how loud she was as she said that, staring down at the spike in her hands. Or was she speaking to whatever else was out there, some greater will, a something beyond it all. She almost laughed. It hurt. Of sorts. It continued to drain her bit by bit, even as more energy raced through her and kept her standing. There was a sense, a knowing... she could let it expand out. Let others take on this... not pain, not agony, but draining.

Her gaze slid at last from the spike to those around her. Senshi. Knights. Even a... a traitor senshi?

She could feel the Chaos out there. She'd felt the disgusting burning along her skin of something. So lost in the energy coursing through her, she only somewhat saw the disturbing display of the Queen. Things to process later. The immense power wasn't lost to her. But in that moment, Solaris couldn't spare the energy to... to be scared. She knew she should be. She knew she should be ******** terrified. Nothing she'd felt in her life compared to that energy, that corrosive cold that scalded her senses and tried to dig deep, deep clawing for her bones.

But the energy racing through her had the majority of her focus. The energy that shot from the spike, melded with others through the field... She could see the energy arcing between the different spikes, she could see them connecting... but it wasn't closed, was it?

People were speaking to her. Solaris forced her eyes up, landing briefly on a Transcended Eternal (Chariklo) and a Martian knight (Xibalba) beside her. What could they do?

"Tell me what's going on. I can't really focus on much beyond this thing."

She forced her head to move, to look over the other knights in the vicinity, other senshi--one was a child. Her heart tried to leap, tried to stutter, tried to clench, but it was too in time with the energy's pulses. You shouldn't have to bear this burden. You shouldn't have to face this. Things she wanted to say. Things she had said before, to other Earthlings. They were all young. At least... compared to her.

Solaris spotted Ekstrom, and offered a small smile.

No. She could bear this herself. They didn't need more weight on their shoulders than there already was. They didn't need to be drained of energy or pulled into whatever this was, when there was a monstrous threat around--and a world-eating serpent flying about in the storm, too.

To the others (Stromboli, Ran, Onasilos, Mystras, d'If, Dunwich, Ilmare, Cuan... everyone really), she tried to raise her voice. "Anyone got shielding magic? Healing? If things keep going wild, who can do what?" It was an old habit to fall back to--strategizing. Figuring out resources. Figuring out how to best help people around her. She could only do so much here... but she could still try. Her pulse beat in time with the pulses of energy, and be it truly calming or somewhat pushed upon her, she remained steady. There wasn't room to be scared. No room to think about failure. Failure didn't exist. Just the energy... and whatever else lay beyond it all. Yeah. She could handle that.

What's a Queen to a god?
What's a god to a non-believer?

General Aquamarine, sans cape, hair up.
Page 2 Page 8 Page 22 Page 32
Location: A7
Action: Spike things. Bearing the burden all by his lonesome.

The spike struck true—not neatly, not easily, but it drove into the ground all the same. Energy, sharp and sudden, carved through Aquamarine in an unpleasant tide. He felt momentarily ravaged by it, his body tense, overburdened by this energy he could neither control nor defend against. Air escaped him, stolen from his lungs in a hastily stifled gasp. His heart, already pounding in his chest, skipped a beat, then rushed through two, then skipped another; it sped up, and halted, and sped up again, pace so fast it left him vaguely ill.

Then: a strange, almost otherworldly sense of calm. Peace like he’d never felt before. Tranquility. Aquamarine saw light arcing, stretching, reaching for a misplaced spike. He saw the Calamitous Hollow above—mighty, immense—moving so fast he soon lost track of it. He saw the Queen nearby, rising from among the rabble, lifting her arms to unleash a single, powerful blast. Chaos, too close, too heavy, even for Aquamarine, already steeped in it. He sensed the others by him. Jet and Seraphinite. Akaganeite and Reidite. Ashanite and his minions.

None of it mattered.

The energy pulsed with the beat of his heart. One spike, and the next. Something welled up in Aquamarine—stubborn resolve, gritty determination, an understanding. On Earth, on the hill, he had been confident enough to put him in a good mood. Here, he was certain...

… and tired…

Exhausted...

Aquamarine forced himself to breathe, slow and even. He steadied himself, blocked what he could of his thoughts from Jet, who might see too much through their earrings.

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journal General Stichtite
Location: I4
Action: Sticking with Beni, making sure nobody messes with them while they're occupied

Watching his cousin, he knew when they were leaving things out and not telling him the whole truth of the matter. While he didn't like that they were betting on magic, he couldn't have offered any better solution. This was Benitoite's area of expertise, even if they took too many risks if you asked him.

Clenching his teeth as he felt the raw power of what Laurelite had done, he didn't like that either, but it seemed to do something to the creature in the sky. Already, he was wondering if this would give Miyamoto an issue, the pressure setting off a migraine potentially.

Then he saw his cousin sink to the ground, and he moved forward, already reaching for the medical bag on his side beneath his large outer coat. Keeping his voice low as he looked at the other senshi nearby, "bullshit, something happened and you're going to tell me or so help me I will summon the tart here to get you to listen to reason."

The look he gave them left no room for dodging questions, even as he took a moment to look up at the creature to see where something glinted slightly.

Sleet Tempest Snape

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journal Eternal Aoede
Location: I 4
Action: Sticking with Beni, heavily considering how insane they are

Looking up at the beast, she adjusted her glasses as if to make sure she was really seeing things or maybe they had just been a bit off because of a smudge or something.

Looking towards the others, the whole group of Evans relatives, she couldn't wrap her head around how they all stuck together through all this. Sure she was here to make sure her image was intact and she had half a mind to see if her brother might get killed in all this, but the level of trust they put in Benitoite felt insane.

But then that attack from Laurelite had her shrinking back slightly. It was a good way to show the competency of the Negaverse, something she could understand more than the rag tag group of order senshi and knights. The connections and structure of the Negaverse were better suited for getting things done.

With the creature shrinking, she straightened up slightly and readied herself. Maybe it could shrink enough that everyone could use magic but for now she really thought all these extra people around might be more of a liability than anything else.

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journal Squire Chillingham
Location: Staying in E9 watching spike and feeling sick, definitely not telling her brother about this
Action: Sticking with Monch

"Oh! Whoah! Wassit that he's got?! Looks like a lightning rod!" And it looked to sort of work like one, at least until it didn't do whatever it was supposed to do she guessed. Following the path of energy with her eyes, she nearly fell over as something else came crashing down. A feeling of grossness, making her skin prickle and her stomach churn, hit her like a truck, and she gagged.

"Oh cripes... that's bad, really bad!" She took a moment to close her eyes and try to fight off that gross feeling, thinking about the quickly growing list of things she was going to not tell her brother when she made it home. There wasn't a doubt she'd make it home; the good guys always won, right? And even if that lady who had hit the sky monster was probably the baddest one here, right now ,they were all hopefully on the same side when it came to this.

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journal Squire Spasskaya
Location: E8
Action: Feeling sick, wondering if the thing will shrink enough for her to hit it with her staff

Spasskaya was growing tired of the children rather quickly, but when she got a look at the scaled underbelly that now took over the sky, she gripped her staff tighter.

There was no way to hit something that far up or that large, not at least by anyone down here, she thought. At least until a sickening feeling swept over her and she stumbled, holding onto her staff to keep her upright as that sickening feeling was worse than when she'd had that horrible feeling of a hand in her chest. She looked towards Novella, trying not to look too weak in front of the boy, but she wondered how they were handling this.

DMS Eternal Melpomene
Location: E6
Action: Still watching things...

Finally he seemed to remind himself of the lieutenant. It wasn't that he forget her per say but rather a lot was going on, including a very powerful Queen. "That's exactly what I'm thinking - brute force. Plenty of people on both sides can fight without weapons and magic, you learn over time, and I wouldn't be surprised if some managed the energy to do so after this is all over. Not to mention whatever adrenalin rush some are on...I've no doubt some might just attack each other. It's best if once this thing is dealt with we teleport on out." He didn't like the idea of running away but he wasn't here to fight senshi or knights. He was here for one thing and one thing only - that beast in the sky. It was smaller, it looked like it was possible to defeat it now, but they just needed to figure out how. The Queen had not finished it off but they would...somehow, they all would get a chance to attack it somehow.

Eternal Sailor Caia
Location: Moving to F3
Action: Very alarmed that Oberon has been shot but just trying to make sure he's okay

Caia snapped his attention to Oberon, at first a bit confused about what was so exciting–wasn’t he worried about all that Chaos? About that snake???–but he’d hardly had time to find a way to share Oberon’s joy before he was being shot.

Like–shot–with a laser gun.

Caia squawked in alarm and frantic worry, a second away from summoning magic to try to heal him. He had healing magic! Oberon would be fine!

…He just wasn’t sure where the injury was. Or what it was.

His hands landed on Oberon’s shoulders, like he meant to give him whatever support he could. He didn’t ask if he needed help, he forgot how to speak, but his wide eyes probably said enough for him.

Commodore Lyndin
Location: F3
Action: Working on the shielding device; talking to everyone; accepting help

“It’s all right,” Lyndin said, firm but diplomatic. The air was tense enough without the threat of crossfire, though Oberon was being a surprisingly good sport for someone who’d just taken a hit.

“Yes,” he said, maybe a split second decision. He wasn’t thinking irrationally, and even if he hadn’t weighed all of the options, he’d weighed enough.

He might not have known all of them well, or really at all, but now was a bad time to start being picky. Help was help and they could make this work.

“Yes, please,” he said to Kerberos before glancing at Ida, who had arrived with him. Kerberos would not sabotage this. If he trusted Ida enough to allow her here, she must be trustworthy, too.

“Aliez, you can let them pass. Thank you for keeping a distance, it is helpful to know that there will be no accidental interferences. The device is sensitive,” he said, but that was probably obvious by the way he was rapidly recalibrating pieces to adjust.

“I’m sure everyone here will be mindful of their proximity,” he added, more for them than Aliez, who he then asked, “Can you please make sure he’s okay?”

He was a good medic. Even if Oberon was a human, a quick check by a Velencian medic was better than nothing at all. Lyndin looked at Oberon, and though he was staying focused and on task, there was the faintest glimmer of apology in his eyes. “You’ve held onto these for a while then, haven’t you? I can use them, yes. Thank you,” he said earnestly. Pendour seemed to hold some sort of sentimental value to the stone she handed over. Lyndin reached out to accept it. “There is enough here, I can make this work. I have more of these, but they are uncharged. I will replace this,” he promised, because he did not give himself room in his heart to doubt failure.

He did not chastise Vyn for firing, how could he? He had acted appropriately. Lyndin nodded at him, glad for his quick reflexes. Even if poor Oberon had only wanted to help.

Naeria, that’s a good idea. Thank you. The Source Stones can filter the energy into something I can work with.” He did not ask them to offer what extra energy they might have collected for themselves; a few well charged Source Stones could restore lost limbs. If they got hurt–

Well. If the shield was strong enough, maybe they wouldn’t get hurt at all.

To Illyria, “If you can defend this area, I think it will benefit everyone. Please do not fight here. I cannot accommodate any fluctuations in magical energy, I have no idea how it might affect the shield and it’s volatile enough around here as is. I would appreciate any help you can give to make sure this area stays as close to unbothered as possible.”

Not that the static shocks skittering across the ground were helping the situation, but–

Oh, they were. In their own way.

Lyndin eyed Carnotite as she arrived, but he’d spent too much time focusing on anything beyond the shield. He stretched to adjust the tightness of a screw and the shield pulsed with renewed vigor.

“I think our Source Stones can take that off of you, we should be able to use that, too.”

To everyone there, he was very clear: “This is a tourniquet only, not a long term situation, This shield will not last for long,” he warned them. Energy was dancing off of the half-youma recklessly, but between her and the two Transcended Senshi, maybe they could bolster its strength. To the Vanguard around him, he instructed, “If you are comfortable with it, please help siphon their energy. Only what they can bare to part with. When you have, bring your stone to me. As quickly as possible. I must ask than if you are are leaking, or carrying energy, please do not come closer. I don’t want you to get hurt.”

He didn’t want the shielding device to get damaged either, but there were a lot of ways this could go wrong if they weren’t careful.

Quote:
All Vanguardians in the area can siphon energy from any character who is offering it; Lyndin has Pendour’s stone and will be using it in the next event prompt; he needs Oberon’s to be retrieved so he can use that as well; Aliez will do this. All other Vanguardians may use their Source Stone to collect energy from all those who offer; multiple Source Stones can be used on the same character. Characters offering their own energy (and not from an item) will lose 10HP and information about this will be clarified further in the next post. Gathering energy from the same character with multiple Vanguardians will not damage or drain further than what has already been OOCly approved by those players. The next mule prompt will reflect that the Vanguardians were helping collect energy and it will be mentioned that it was given to Lyndin so he can use it in that post.

Corrupt Human Mauvian Katya
Location: A6
Action: Staying with Spectrolite, wishing the other tree good luck.

She'd been pulled along by a corrupot senshi, an eternal corrupt senshi, and a captain who was at her side. The two of them were good company...until it seemed the female had gotten an idea in her head. It wasn't a bad idea really, just dangerous, it was something she could see her little general doing. It was dangerous and risky and that scale looked heavy but she understood the senshi's reasoning for the decision to move it, to keep the higher ranks safe because they were most needed in this battle, though she didn't care for the corrupt holding herself at lesser value. "You will be safe and you will return." She stated, tail fluffed up from al lthe static in the air, it was irking her. All the static and build up in the air was causing her fur to fluff and it was uncomfortable to say the least.

Now she turned her pale eyes onto the rest of the group, seeing as the corrupt and captain were off on some mission to help the leaders. While another corrupt had decided to join the two, leaving her with a single officer, Katya smiled at the little lieutenant and even took a moment to wrap an arm about her. "We'll be safe here." The sheild provided by their alien friends, the Valencians, had helped when the scales from the severly injured serpent had fallen.

The power their Queen had posessed, and unleashed, had been mesmerizing but also terrifying in it's strength. It wasn't a power she'd known the woman to have, she'd certainly never felt such an aura from her in the past, but to feel it now....it was shocking and smothering in all honesty. It drown out the other auras around Katya and had the mauvian on edge. Where had she gained such power...and would she keep that same power after this or was it on loan, sort to speak, from the one who led them from the shadows. "That power...I never knew she had such strength." She whispered, so only the little one with her could hear her words.

"Let us hope those three are able to move that scale, without getting hurt." She said slowly, her eyes roaving over the crowds looking for her little general. he had a spike so she knew he would be somewhere that was sending off a chain towards the beast...but which one was him?

"my general has one of those spikes...and my eternal is home holding down the fort." Meaning he was takign care of the bunnies and drinking a bottle of wine, maybe two, there was no doubt Rene would be up all night until they returned home from this mess. He'd greet them, in some manner, and Alexandre would hopefully be well and healthy, uninjured, and could just go to sleep in his arms as they both got comfort from seeing the other in one piece and knowing Earth was safe. She herself would find a nice place to curl up and sleep as well, she was planning to sleep till at least noon depending on how things went tonight.

Location: H5
Action: Joining Surtur and Rainier (and Helene?)

“You know, whenever there’s trouble around, I find myself looking for you two,” Beira said from just behind Surtur and Rainier. He’d arrived with the group but it had taken him a good while to find people he recognized.

He’d been looking for them, or any other familiar faces, and found a great sense of relief when he found the two of them–already together. Especially after whatever stunt Laurelite had just pulled.

“Things always seem to turn out a bit better when we stick together. Are you two okay? –Will you mind if I stick by you this time as well?”

He didn’t want to be here at all but it wasn’t like they had much choice. And, if he had to fight, he’d rather do it with friends–and whoever it was they’d already met up with.

Didn’t seem like they could go wrong if they were watching each others’ backs.

Squire Santa Maria Novella of Ganymede
Location E8
Action: Wants a scale...also wants to know about tech.

With s**t hitting the fan in a rather short amoutn of time, leaving him shook and little time to recoup before something else was happening, the Squire was still catching his breath from the sheer force of chaos that had filled the air. The preasure had hurt in a way he'd never felt before, something so deep and indescribable, that the pain he'd felt at the hands of those he lived with paled in comparison to this. It was somethign that left him shaking where he stood and wide eyed watching the Queen as she oh so elegantly rejoined those of them down on the ground.

That was power...a lot of power, like a god, and she had struck the beast such a blow that it was shrinking before his very eyes. He could see the light cutting through the air from various points, each one targeting the beast as it flailed about in the air, it was still big but no longer so big and menacing. It had taken a hell of a blow and now they all knew first hand that it wasn't immortal and impossible to defeat. Internally smiling, happy at this thought, the pale eyed teen stepped forward, away from the group, his feet moving for him without much imput from him.

His stomach churned, lurched, and he felt like he might be sick from the crushing power she'd unleashed. It hurt somewhere deep inside him, nearly brought him to his knees, but his eyes were focused on the scales above them. Turning to look back at Spasskaya. "I want one." Pointing with a hand towards the scales up on the sheilds. "I want to see if it can be repurposed. I also want to know about those sheilds." As a child who liked to build, to tinker, it was no shock he'd want to know about the sheilding beind used and the tech behind it. But who were the ones who created it...and could he ask them about it? Would they answer him?

Knight Gorner of Castor
Location: B9
Action: With Caliban and going to look for Alcor and Kemi.

As people started regrouping, and some were moving about with objects emitting light, Gorner found herself watching as she stood there. A hand reached out for her cousin and the other sought Caliban's own hand. "Things are abotu to get intense, I'm sure of it." And of course she was right, because of course things had to go from a 4 or a 5 to a 10 or 11.

The pain that shot through her, gripped her chest, and was suffocating was the true showing of what the Negaverse could do - the power they had. And it was all contained inside one small, petite, woman who carried herself with such calm even whjile delivering such deadly damage. "That power..." She whispered, breath caught in her chest, she coughed for a moment before breathing out slowly.

It hurt and she gripped her chest for a moment before watchign as the beast, mighty and massive, flailed about and started to shrink but not before it dropped some of it's large scales. She wasn't too surprised, it made sense, it was a serpent and when hurt it made sense some scales would be knocked off it's body. But the idea of them hitting people, the vision went through her mind so quickly, was derailed as sheilds went up and they bounced off or lande on the sheild and remained. "They saved us..." She whispered looking up and about.

"We should watch ourselves...incase it decides to shed more scales..." She whispered, her eyes glued to the scenes playing out before them all, the attempt to chain the beast and restrain it, and others just waiting to see what would come next. There was little they could do from here on the ground. "Someone needs to get that other spike...that is what's in the tail - right?" She questioned, poionting, in the hopes her cousin or her partner would confirm what she thoguht she was seeing. "But how...no one else can make stairs appear and walk right up to it..." Though that would be a nice idea, and a good way to handle things.

"We need to be ready...it's not going to take that attack without returning fire." And it wasn't likely to be pretty whatever it did, it would cause damage for sure.

General Benitoite
Location: I4, with the spike.
Action: Spike things, soloing this s**t.

Of course Stichtite would find him and take note of things, things he did his best to hide and would if questioned push off as other things. He glanced over to his cousin, kneeling at his side, and gave a soft smile. "I'm fine now. It was a surge of power - a lot of power. But I know now, for certain, we'll win this." Nodding his head towards the spike. "It's a bond...of some sort." As if that explained everything, which maybe it did, it certain explained how he was so sure of things. The conviction in his voice though....he was so sure, there wasn't an ounce of doubt in him, any doubt he'd once had was gone.

He knew though, even as he looked his cousin over, that he'd want to know everything and he couldn't be given the usual wiggle room he found with other people. He might have it now, might be able to twist things and play things off, but his cousin would close those loops soon enough as he'd continue to question him. The threat of Kafka being summoned had him speaking though, because he'd be a danger here.

"My heart was racing, thundering, it was tight and hard to breath. But it's easier now...it's not bad. I've had worse." The last bit he knew he shouldn't have said it, even as the words passed his lips, where he hoped it would ease his cousin and put an end to his worrying it wouldn't do such with his fellow general. Because he knew it even as he said it, knew how his cousin thought, he'd figure Bentioite's judgement on what was serious and what wasn't, in terms of injuries and health were skewed due to his past. And it was correct, and he knew it, but he didn't need others to know it.

"I thought my heart could be heard, that if I stripped down you'd see the pounding it was doing." He whispered, keeping his voice low in the hopes of his other two cousins and Aoede not hearing him.

"I'm fine though. There is a calm with this." He added with that same soft smile, one which he rarely ever wore.

Super Sailor Aruna of Landslides
Action: Having a bit of a moment to be honet
Location: E10

Oh. Oh holy.... Aruna had never been a religious individual, not even by a long shot, but she suddenly found herself praying that there was something out there watching over them when she saw how big and fast the monster of a snake was. Please, she thought. Please let us make it through this....whatever the cost, I'll pay it. Just let my friends and family be safe.

She stayed close to Murikabushi, refusing to move too far from those who had gathered around him. Her eyes followed the energy, watching the spikes try to connect to the creature and her eyes widened. Was the last spike...?

Her thoughts were interrupted as Laurelite made her move. Aruna's knees nearly buckled and she looked at the Queen in equal parts horror and awe. Was this the power the Negaverse held? Was this what they would be fighting later? The thought terrified her, truthfully. Her starseed, her very soul, burned from the power and chaos of it, and her fear of the chaos aligned faction was healthily reignited. Eyes trained on the sky still, her suspicion was confirmed. The last spike was in play almost, it seemed, imbedded into the tail of the Hollow.

Despite the fear sinking deep into her core, Aruna pushed through it and stood straight once again before looking at Muri for guidance, a new fierce resolve on her face. "Muri! Any ideas?" She wouldn't address the display of raw power Laurelite just used, or the massive scales that now littered the battlefield. Right now, all that mattered in her mind was figuring out how to proceed against the massive beast above them and how to possibly retrieve that spike.
