Legend of Lunaria Captain

Main Street in Lunaria is a place of wonder. Rows of majestic beams rise up, suspending ropes of paper lanterns and ornaments over the busiest street in the Imperial City. Two-story businesses of all kinds can be found here, including taverns, inns and restaurants. People come here to converse with others, to find happiness among the flickering lights and the elegantly designed buildings, the warm city with its cool breezes that dance across the people that live in it.
It is late afternoon, nearing evening, and as dusk begins to fall, the people of Lunaria begin to go about their evening tasks, finding a place to eat dinner, to perhaps purchase some last minute beads or some other trinket of value. There is laughter and merriment that comes from the various restaurants and businesses, and a sense of calm rests across the usually on-edge Imperial City. There is something exciting happening tomorrow, something everyone has looked forward to for months.
Welcome to the Festival of Spirits.

Lunaria's Festival of Spirits is one that occurs every year near the start of the autumn season. Similar to the Obon in Japan, the Festival celebrates and honors those that have passed on. The Festival lasts three days, with each day dedicated to something different.
The first day of the Festival, also known as "Ribbon Day," is when the citizens of Lunaria visit the grave sites and tombs of relatives and friends that have passed on and to give greetings to them. They show their love and appreciation for them by tying ribbons to their sleeves. A red ribbon indicates remembering single soul, while a black ribbon indicates remembering multiple souls. This is followed throughout the day. During the eveningtimes, there is firelight dinner where families can bring food to share with others and simply remember those that have passed on.
The second day of the Festival, known simply as "The Celebration" is the day when all of the Lunarians celebrate the lives of their ancestors through games, food, rides, and musical, theatre, and dance performances, as well as a fireworks show at the end of the evening. Though the festival is obviously open to everyone, this particular day is usually the most family and friend oriented, as many take this time to spend time with those they love.
The last day of the festival, called "The Day of Remembrance" starts off like The Celebration. However upon entering the festival, each is given a long, thin candle. When it comes to be nighttime, each person lights their candle and with it on Main Street. This is to encourage the spirits around them (since Soul Conduits are in attendance of the Festival) to not only pass on in safety, but also to show a sense of respect to those that have passed on. After ten minutes they are blown out by the individual Lunarians and the candles are melted down. The rest of the night is spent celebrating the closing of the Festival.

Participating in the Festival of Spirits has many benefits.
Continuous participation (meaning at least one post per day for the entire duration of the event) will result in counting as x1 Battle and x1 Regular RP.
Semi-continuous participation (meaning one post a week or less) will result in counting as x1 Regular RP.
Besides these, there will be several more opportunities for "rewards" hidden throughout the event. These will be random and sporadic, and will not be announced beforehand. There will not be many of these.
