Hello and welcome to Crimson Rain. You can call me either
Kira or Mika, I love both names. Right now I only have a
couple of styles but I’ll add more eventually so there will be more
to choose from at different price ranges. I'm going to spice this
thread up later. I'm making a new main header to replace my Lillith
one since it's getting pretty old now. XD

Here will be all of my more major announcements.
If you stick around I'll also give random art status
reports, those will be posted in a red colored text
and be posted in the document post style so its
easy to spot.
Newer updates will be at the top.

September 1st 2010 - So I've added a new poll
and I thought I'd explain somethings fast if you're confused
New Art Styles - Is Pretty much that I'll be practicing on
more styles to choose from.
New Contests - I have a couple in mind so if you'd
want some freebies then pick this one. XD
Bundles - For those who want multiple pieces of art.
Different Shop Layout/Graphics - I want to change my
header, switch things around, update and add somethings.
So I dont know how long I'll have the poll for but probably
until I feel like working on it. So which ever one wins is the
one I'll concentrate on at that time.

August 30th 2010 - My slots
wont be open for quite a while now. I'm
going to finish my commissions and work
on some other things for a while. September,
October and December are all busy months
for me birthday wise so I highly doubt I'll open
them this year now. I might open a slot or two
every now and then but I'm not sure. With Halloween
coming up too I want to actually do some darker
themed art which I haven't been able to before
because of the art I've owed. So Bribes and Art
Trades will still be open (Because with art
trades I can get some OC Art) but I wont
be accepting as many. Thank you,

Older Announcements ~

06/14/10 - All of my slots are open.
I still have some more art to take care of and
I have work so it might be a little slow but I'll
try to get them done as soon as I can.
I'm also working on a new main header so
hopefully that'll be done soon too.

05/31/10 - Normal Slots will be Open June 14th
(Maybe sooner depending on if I finish
my freebies sooner) and it'll either be
2 or 3 slots. I'll also be fixing up my
shop over the next few days. ^-^



04/16/10 - Okay I just have Rune's art then
I'm done with my commissions. I'm still working on
freebies and stuff so I'm unsure on when I'll re-open,
but your welcome to visit the auction I'm in and get
some freebies (The link is in my siggy and in the
affiliates section) and I also might open 1 or 2 slots
sometime so keep checking. ^-^


02/25/10 - I'm going to be closing my slots for a
while when my slots fill up so I can finish the freebies
I owe, Work on some pictures of my OC's and so I can
edit my prices. I'm not going to raise the price that much
because I still want it to be affordable. So if you want art
from me and dont want to wait then get your orders in
now before they close. Though Bribes and Art Trades
will still be open too.



02/ (14&15th) /10 - Happy Valentines Day!
I will be concentrating on my commissions again
now that VD is over. I still have one left but I'll be
working on that in between commissions.


01/11/10 - I changed my art around in my Photobucket account
so things are arranged better. So if you were using my link then
it will be broken because I moved it if that happened just let me
know and I’ll get you the link so you can save it or use it again.
I'm also redoing my samples so I can add the styles down the
side instead of across like they are now because I am more
likely to add more styles than types. So if they change or you
see one of my tests think nothing of it. ninja
Okay finished with the samples, now I can work on some new
styles and not have to worry about anything. ^-^

01/01/10 - Happy New Years Everyone~
Man I've had that header of Lillith for like forever...
I have an avatar that I want to draw so I'll probably use
that for the main header.

12/28/09 - Commissions will be coming as usual again. I still
have auction pictures to do but I'll be doing regular commission
inbetween them so dont worry. Slots are kind of unlimited right
now so dont be afraid to post your request just because it looks full. ^-^

12/14/09 - Commissions will be a little slower because I have
my brothers birthday picture, a Secret Santa picture and a couple
auction pictures to do. I'll try to get my commissions done in
between so hopefully it wont take me too long.

11/26/09 - Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm going to be adding/changing
a couple of things around sometime soon. I know I keep saying that but
I'm really going to this time. I'm also going to be adding some art bundles
to choose from if you're interested in getting multiple pieces of art.

11/05/09 - I have picked out my next avatar...but I need about 700k for
it...and I really dont want to sell anything so~ my shop shall stay open
even longer and I shall be trying to get all requests done quickly.
Also Bribes would help me out alot (I'm currently Questing for the
Carol of Ol' Ebenezer (Any Gen.)) so if you have something you've
been wanting something maybe more challenging I'd be willing.
Hell if the bribe is high enough I'd be willing to do anything. XD

Style 1 - Just a Pencil Sketch (Takes about 10 Minutes so they‘re fast meaning you‘ll get it right away)
Style 2 - Drawn in Pencil/Pen then Colored in either Sai or Art Weaver but
which one I use is up to me either way they’ll turn out about the same anyway.
(Takes about 1-4 hours but if I have a lot of them to do I’ll draw them all at
once and you’ll have it the next day)
Style 3 - MS Paint (Takes about 1-3 hours)
Style 4 - SAI meaning its completely done on the computer just like the MS Paint
ones. I haven’t been doing it that way for very long so not all types are
available in this style. (I haven't really timed those)

(Styles are based off of how long it’d take for a headshot (And if I can
just start it right away) the more to it the longer it'll take

Normal (Style 2)~
(These are for my normal style (Style 2), Sketches (Style 1) are half off)
Headshot = 4,000 gold
Chibi = 5,000 gold
Waist-up = 8,000 gold
Full Body = 10,000 gold
Couples = 17,000 Gold *

MS Paint (Style 3) ~
Headshot = 2,000 gold
Animated Flob = 2,500 **
Chibi = 3,000 gold
Waist-up = 5,000 gold
Full Body = 8,000 gold
Couples = 14,000 Gold *

SAI (Style 4) ~
Headshot = 5,000 Gold
Chibi = 6,000 Gold
Waist-up = 10,000 Gold

Backgrounds ~
Simple = Add 1,000 gold
Complex = Add 4,000 gold (It might be more or less depending
on the difficulty so ask me if you aren’t sure)

* By Couples I mean Full Body Couples Anything
else would be double...or alittle less than double.

Name : Your Username, The name of the one who you’re
buying it for, What you want to be called or a nickname.

Type : Answer these two questions....Will this be Avatar Art,
Fanart or an OC? And Do you want A Headshot, Chibi, Waist-up,
Fullbody, Couple or Group picture? Groups are pretty much set
at bribes only for now though.

Style : Which Drawing/Coloring style do you
want, 1, 2, 3 or 4? (If this confuses you go look at the samples
section they explain the styles right under the samples)

Details : Do you want a certain Pose, Expression, Background,
make-up, text or anything like that? And if its a couple
please tell me what kind of relationship the two have so
I dont have to guess. If you want me to PM it
to you be sure to tell me here too because I dont PM the
art unless requested. Then write it here, be sure
to tell me exactly what you want here so I can try to get it looking
the way ya want it. If you have an item on and you’re
using it as something else (Like how the bows and stuff look
like wings) then tell me or I’ll probably make it how it looks in
the avi or I might change it a bit. And if you want an anime
Character then tell me who you want and what they are from here as well.
Also I can make the Background Transparent if you'd like too.

Reference Picture(s) : Links Please (For big pictures). This is if
you plan on changing your avatar or you want art for a friend, fanart
or an OC. If you aren’t going to change your avatar then you can just
write current. And if you write current I’ll save your avatar how it is when
I see your request but if you change your mind then please do so before
I start yours, I‘ll keep the waiting list updated so check there before changing it.

Total Price : I added this so you know how much it is
when you post your order. If you aren’t sure about something then just
ask me and we can sort things out. If I’m drawing a freebie for
you or we’re doing an art trade then just write that. 3nodding Also I really

1. Be Patient - I’ll do my best to finish your picture as soon as
possible. If you want it done by a certain date tell me and
I’ll try to have it done by then. You could also bribe me if I have
other orders then it’d be the first one I do because bribes get top priority
and other benefits. 3nodding Also its not first come first served here
(Well bribes kind of are), I might do the easier ones first or if I really
like the request I might do that one first. Or if you have two or more
requests I might work on another request inbetween the two.
(I've done that a couple of times already) You just never know with me. XD
2. Be Nice - There's no reason to be rude to me or any of my
friends. And I have the right to deny a request if you're being
totally rude. And no stealing my art.
3. I Can‘t Guarantee Anything - If you want it a certain way tell me
and I’ll try to do it that way but I can’t promise anything. My style tends to
change from time to time. And I have the right to deny a request if
I can’t do it (I probably wont refuse a request but I'm just saying).
4. Start the Trade - Either after or before you submit your request.
(Or after I confirm or whatever) If you don't start the trade I won't start
your request until you do.

Because I love art so much I’m willing to do art trades as well.
So this post is going to be of what I’d like drawn of course you're
always welcome to ask me what I'd prefer, I might have an idea on what
kind of pose and such that I‘d like too. 3nodding I will only draw as much
as you’re willing to, If you’re drawing a waist-up for me then
I’ll draw a waist-up for you. (I'm going to fix up this section eventually)

I drew one of us already if you want to you
can use that for reference....Elven Sisters! Generally mine is more like a
Mage who specializes in spells like Fire
(And Black or Purple flame is always nice but I also like normal fire)
and Darkness/Shadow. Judging from Aisa's avatar I was guessing she
was more like a weapon master. XD



~ Fanart ~
I love fanart as much (If not more) as I love avatar art. The only
problem is I never know who I want drawn. If you want to draw fanart for
me ask me who I want drawn or you can go to the gallery I set up which
has several images of several of my favorites or check the challenge section. heart
But I warn you there might be a lot to choose from and I add more when
I’m bored. XD And I gave each character their own folder so its pretty neatly
organized. So if you want to do that then pick your preference…

changing things around with it so that will have to wait.

Here will be something that I would like drawn if you’re
feeling up to the challenge. I might have one request or a couple.
This one is kind of like the bribe slot of the art trade section. XD

The Challenge -
Character = Nairen & Ninya
Series = Technically Mario since they're a Ninji Gijinka
Reference Pictures = User Image
A Little About Them = Well I drew them for a Mario Gijinka
Themed auction and.... I dont know I kind of liked them so I
though why not see if I could get some art of them. XD
But they are Ninji's~
Nairen (The Male) he's really shy, Quiet and usually kind.
He has black hair and Red Eyes and is basically the traditional
looking Ninji. Ninya however is the almost the exact opposite
of that, she's very outgoing, Speaks her mind and can be mean
to others. She has Purple hair and Purple-ish pink eyes
and is the purple looking Ninjis. They both have fangs if you
draw them without the mask. And they have like a sister/brotherly
kind of relationship no romance or anything, 'kay?
What I’m Looking For = You dont have to draw them both,
it could be one or the other. But something like them
holding a Ninji or some kind of Mario Themed Plushie
would be adorable/loved. Or doing something Ninja like.
What I‘m Offering = Double - Meaning if you draw a chibi for
me I’ll draw you two chibis, ect.. And I'll throw in an Extra Headshot.

so I'd gladly accept any of them as a bribe. (But I'd also accept

to do group pictures for them as well, the most I've done in one
picture was 36 (Well that was the last big picture I did...I could
have done more before) but I could probably do more. Although
pictures with alot of characters would take me a while to finish
unless I had some really good motivation which pretty much means
a big bribe like an EI. But I do love a good challenge. ^-^

You can change your request only if the Status says its at 0% or Waiting
which means I haven’t started it yet. And if I have a percentage
after the either the drawing or coloring part that means that I'm done
with that much on which ever one it says and not as the whole thing.
If you stick around I might also tell you how I'm doing on your
commission or exactly when it'll be done, I've been doing that alot lately.
Also your name will be on the list until you confirm that you've seen
your art or until I need the space. Same with the pick-up section.

Q ~ What art program do you use?
A ~ Currently I’m doing all of my coloring with ArtWeaver and/or SAI. 3nodding
I also work with MS Paint and its all done by mouse. I now have
PhotoshopCS5 But I'm just practicing with that.
And my animations are done with either iaza or Photoshop.

Q ~ May I use the art for my siggy, profile, ect.?
A ~ Of course, You can use it for whatever you’d like just
as long as you aren’t saying that you drew it and maybe give me
credit somewhere if its not just in your siggy. And If you make a profile
or anything with it I’d love to see it.

Q ~ How long does it take you to finish a picture?
A ~ Well it all depends on the difficulty of the request and the
amount of requests/free time I have. Usually it can take anywhere
from a couple of hours to a couple of weeks. I’ll try to get it done as
soon as possible. I have a job now so it might take me a little longer
that it used to take me but I don't have to work every day so it shouldn't
take me that much longer.

Q ~ Bribes?
A ~ I’ll accept most any item on my wish list (On my profile, just
not ultra cheap stuff unless its close to my prices), MC’s,
Cash Store Items, Aquarium fish/items or gold. Bribes (Like I’ve said)
are top priority and get to see their sketch before I start coloring
it to make sure it’s the way you want it. If its not how you want
it then depending on the bribe (The bigger the bribe the more I’ll do
to make sure its how you want it) you can request to have it redrawn
from scratch, of coarse I can still do minor changes if that’s the problem
so be sure to tell me what you don‘t like about it. When you tell me your
bribe then I’ll tell you how many re-do’s you can have. I’ll also do group
pictures and I really don’t have a limit to how many can be in the picture
but the more that are in the picture the more chance there is of someone
not looking how you want them. Bribes (Once accepted) are also
automatically given the option to have a background so be sure to
tell me what you would like if any.

Q ~ How much would a Bribe be?
A ~ At least double the original price. I'll also accept items that
are on my wishlist on my profile if they are close to my prices. 3nodding

Q ~ What items will be included in Avatar Art?
A~ I tend to draw everything on the avatar. Animals,
Mood Bubbles, Weapons, Plushies, Accessories and
everything like that will be included. If you want to be sure
if I'll add something then just let me know in the details
section of the form. I'm not too sure about the bigger
character ones like the Celebrity Date ones seeing as
thought they'd technically be a couple but feel free to ask
me because I might be willing to draw them at no extra charge.
