A silent night in Chicago.
Echoes of industrial spirits.
Lonely cars sound through the night
Under flickering artificial lights.
Crowded buildings stashed together
Deep crevasses built upon the earth
Amid the towers of metal.
Pinnacles of stone,
Deep canyons within the land,
Vast, great openness
Beneath the flickering stars.
Nocturnal animals the only noise
Echoes the spirits of the native heart.
A silent night in the Mako Sica.
