The blackness encroaches
It's drawing you in
Are you
Afraid of the dark?
This life, full of evil
Hatred and sin
Are you
Afraid of the dark?

Just open your eyes
And greet your demise
There's no way out
'Cause that's what we're about
We can see your soul bending
So there's no use pretending
That you're not
Afraid of the dark.

If you believe
That light never fails
Why are you
Afraid of the dark?
Surely you've heard
Those countless tales
That's why you're
Afraid of the dark.

Your fear has the power
To catch and devour
We just help it along
With our rhymes and our song
You shake and you fear
As we slowly come near
For you are
Afraid of the dark.

We're shadows, we're mysteries
We're death and we're lies
And we're not
Afraid of the dark.
We suffer, we loathe,
We hate and despise,
We're still not
Afraid of the dark.

We follow the fires
Of our evil desires
Each night somewhere new
Now they've led us to you
We're beings from hell
But all will be well--
If you're not
Afraid of the dark.

And you know you're
Afraid of the dark..

I didn't see any typos, but I was a little busy enjoying myself in the poem to notice if there were any. Great Job.
