Eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Sky.
Blue.
Grass.
Green.
Clenching fists, stiffened wrists, eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Smile wide, hide your eyes, blackened mask, difficult task; eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
I’m only human in the form of my appearance. But I don’t feel it. I just don’t feel it. I’m only wise with my senses, but they’re not connecting; correction, please.
Clenching fists, stiffened wrists, eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
There’s only so much I can bear. The inferior intellect of all that surrounds me, around me. And they always ask why I talk to myself all the time. Truth is, it’s the only place where I can have a intelligent conversation. You see it’s not my sincere smug sense of superiority; it’s the truth.
You.
Me.
Smile wide, hide your eyes, blackened mask, difficult task; eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Grinning from ear to ear, it’s only the future that we should fear. Untold, unknown, uncertain, unsure. Un-everything. No sense. Reminisce. Memories. Memories. Memories. My heart. Yours too. Hopeless Hearts Entangle When Worlds Collide. You know how I am: extremely long speeches that you can barely bear. I know how you are: extremely long pauses that I can barely bear. Talk with me, walk with me; I’m dying to know about you. Grab my hand. I’ll grab yours back. Mumble my name. I love the way you say it.
Smile wide, hide your eyes, blackened mask, difficult task; eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Memories. Memories. Remember what you said: “Do you know why’d they’d put a polar bear on thin ice?” “Hmmm. I dunno why?” “I’m not sure either, but it sure is a way to break the ice. Hi I’m _________.” Memories. Hold me close. Don’t let go. Don’t say a word.
Eyes shut tight.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
Sky.
Blue.
Grass.
Green.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
