• Everything is dark. There is no ground under me, I feel like I'm floating yet going nowhere.

"Why do you want to kill him?" the voice comes from nowhere and yet from every direction. "Why do you want to kill him?" I'm the son of a hunter, it's my duty. I want to answer that but all i can do is think it.

"Is that really why you want to kill him?" Well i guess he heard.

That and for Nicole's sake, she’s in danger.

    "Is that really why?"

    Yes

    "Lairs never prosper."

    Who are you?

    "You."

I open my eyes, the lights blinding. My head is on fire, and my stomach is starting to eat itself. Everything is blurry, I can make out two images, May and June probably. I start to sit up, slowly as I feel my body starting to give out. I haven't eaten all day and I didn't eat yesterday or the day before. everything is heavy and the pain intensifies in my head and stomach. both girls help me to a good position. "Are you ok?" Mays voices is distant but I can still hear her. I nod. My vision improves, I can see them, but the pain stays. They start to pick me up, placing my arms around there shoulders. I slowly stand up, stomach grumbling. “When’s the last time you ate?” May asks, “Last night.” It was actually my third day without food, but I decided not to worry her. I slowly unwrap my arms and start to stagger to the kitchen. The girls follow close behind me.

I get to the kitchen, its tidy, I don’t eat often so almost no one messes it up. The plates are stacked neatly, the table is covered all of the mail is still in the center of the table, 6 years without being opened. I walk holding on to the table, my weight shifts onto the table knocking it down. Glass fly’s everywhere, some impale me in the sides. The blood slowly seeps out, the burning consumes my mind. I look around, but my vision again goes blurry. I can make out two figures coming at me, a white object in my hand, and the floor turning red. A slight trill runs over me as I again pass out.

    ***

I awake to familiar surroundings, the growling outside of my metal window, the darkness of a white ceiling, the white sheets of my pillow top, and the clutter around me, was it all a dream? I wonder and hope, only to find May laying at my side and June sleeping next to me. I slowly raise from my bed, the pain in my side dull now. I walk over to my cabinet, open one of them, and pull out a flask filled with blood. I quickly leave the room, heading towards the bathroom. I shut myself in, I head to sit down on the edge of the shower. I open the flask and put it to my lips, instantly I start chugging it down, my hunger taking over. I gulp down the flask of warm blood almost instantly. The warmth floods through my body and my apatite starts to diminish. I sit there as I let the flask roll out my hands and crash into the ground, shimmering broken glass filling the floor.

My mind is blank, my wound has fully healed and I no longer feel dizzy. The rush of warmth and adrenaline hit me as I start to breath heavy, my desire starts to take over. I grab onto the wall as my nails start to claw on it. I want for blood starts to become my want for sex. I bang my head against the ground over and over again. Banishing the fantasy’s unraveling in my head. I slowly get up after about an hour of laying on the ground banging my head.

I walk out of the door of the bathroom, the clock in the room next to it reads, 12:53. I walk over to the room, May is still laying on the side and June has unwounded and has taken most of the bed to sleep. I go over to may, slowly slide my hands under her knees and pick her up. She’s as light as a feather. I lay her on the bed and put the cover over her. I start to walk out of the door. The metal sheets at the door start to clang. There is tearing of metal and the pounding of metal re-enforced wood, and the breaking of bullet proof glass shakes the house. I bang one of the wall compartments open, I grab the M-16 assault rifle with UV bullets. I walk out the door, gun pointed, ready to shoot. I glide down the hallway, silent and quick, just as I was trained to be. I reach the living room, checking the entrance and the back, both ripped open, yet no one around. I take my silver knife and place it under the M-16, as a bayonet. I walk into the gleaming moonlight pouring in from the ripped open doors.

As I step into the moonlight lit living room, the unforgiving cries grow loud. There all around me, as I look up, a wolf like beast falls on me. I’m pinned, as it lifts its massive claw to strike me, I take the M-16, that is to my side, and shove the knife into its leg. It squirms as it attacks, its massive claw inching closer to me. I roll to the side, as its leg was still injured, I easily knock him over. The werewolf is now on its belly as two more werewolves come in and a vampire enters as well. I take the M-16 and put 3 shots into the downed werewolf. Its three companions jump at me as I jump back. I blast the vampire with 2 shots to the head, and as blood and flashing lights explode out of his head, I roll out of the massive claws of the Lycans. I push off and slam my back into the wall as I fire off 9 rounds, two hit the Lycan to my right in the head and one in the leg, the other gets hit by one to the arm, the rest miss and hit the wall behind them. The other Lycan jumps at me again, as I jump at him, flying in the air with lights exploding out of the wall, I take the bayonet and shove it in between his eyes. As he hits me in mid air, I fly back, its heavy corpse on top of me. I push it off, the blood gushing out of his wounds stains my hands.

I grab my rifle again. I walk into the center of the room, from the front door come two minotaurs and from the back door come two golems. The golem’s enormous disfigured muscular bodies cause the house to shake, I lose my balance as one of the monitors sprints at me, its horns aimed at my head and stomach. I swing the M-16 to counter, but it slips out off my hand due to the fresh blood, hitting the minotaur and briefly causing him to flinch, I roll out of the way, obtaining my balance. The other minotaur sprints at me as well, I jump onto its head. As I land, I jump with full force, causing the minotaur to flip over and land on its back. I land next to the M-16, as I grab it the first minotaur run at me again. I quickly jump back and but 3 shots into its torso and 2 in its head. As the UV bullets explode, the slow golems throw axes at me, as I barely doge those the charge at me, causing the house to rattle, I lose my balance again as one of them jumps into the air to crush me. I quickly roll, and take the bayonet to the golems neck, beheading him. His limp body crashes on the ground , causing the floor to crack. The other golem runs at me but slips on its partners head, I roll out of its massive body’s way, then swinging the M-16 counter clockwise and lobbing off its head as well.

A shimmering light passes through the front door. The blinding light pierces through the unwavering darkness, bouncing off the blood on the walls, filling the room in crimson. Behind the light, a humanoid Unforgiven walks through, its skin glossy metallic, its face metallic with two bright lights for eyes. They step deep into the house, the moon light no longer shining on them. There skin is plates of glassy metal, and there eyes are silver, there silver skins. One walks forward, “Give us the girls.” he says in a commanding voice.

“I’d love to, trust me, but the way you guys barged in, your going to have to pay me for repairs before I do.” I act cocky, truth is I don’t know what they will do to them, I can’t let them die.

“Fine, if money is all it takes we will pay. Just give them to us.” The smaller silver skin walks in, her feminine voice sounds graceful and classy.

“How do I know your not just going to shred them to pieces?” She throws a stack of money on my feet, it seems to be a stack of hundreds, “That’s good enough for me!” I bend over to pick up the money, gun pointed to them.

The male silver skin moves, I jump back as he punches the floor I was standing on, I shoot 3 shots into his back, piercing his weak spot.

“James!” The girl runs to her partner, “You basterd!” She gets ready to pounce.

“He attacked first!” I ready my weapon and get ready to roll, “I know your weak spot so don’t try anything funny.

“Sorry, but I’m not a peon.” ********, I think to myself, as high silverskins have weaker skin but there spines aren’t exposed. She pounces. I roll away and fire at the floor below her, the floor crumbles as she jumps to the side.

“Your faster then most silverskins, now I hope the girls wake up.” I’m exhausted from fighting the other unforgiving, not eating for days has gotten to me.

“What do you mean ‘wake up,’ what did you do to them!” her eyes turn crimson, bloodlust fills them. She pounces, I quickly swing the rifle, hitting her in the head, I change her trajectory and she sides on the floor next to me.

“Calm down b***h! There sleeping!” I try to tell her, but I fail as she quickly turns and again pounces, I roll back as her silver claws pierce the floor. As I get my footing I lunge at her, smashing the end of the M-16 on the side of her face, throwing her off balance as her claws are now stuck to the ground. Instantly I throw the M-16 into the small opening neat her claws, Closing it up and causing her to stay still. She swings her free arm at me, I duck from the sweeping motion of the attack, as her arm reaches her other side, I grab her arm, locking onto to it with my arm, I kick one of her legs up and quickly lift her off the ground. I slam her on the ground as I follow. I place my foot on the wrist of the free arm, stopping it. I quickly start to pummel her face with my fist, her silver skin causes my knuckles to bleed but the pummel seems to hurt her as she screams in anguish.

“Stop!” Mays voice echoes through the empty living room, I stop myself, my punch just about to land, “Cant you hear her scream for help!” I look at the silverskin, her glossy skin still up, but cracks are visible. Her tears wash blood off her face. She lays there, crying, the scene hits me like an arrow to the heart. Did I do this? Did I really just attack a women?

I get off of her and release her claw from the floor. I start to walk away as Mays footsteps get closer behind me. May turns me, and in a flash, her hand strikes my face. The sting from it hits me like bullet. There is no pain, but inside I feel devastated. I stand there, expressionless, staring past May.

“Tiff are you ok?” May goes over to the side of the silverskin.

The girl reverts back to her human form. She is small, paraffin white skin, and long black hair put into a ponytail. She stands up slowly, she is naked. May quickly stands in front of me to stop me from seeing the girl. June walks in, her hair messed up and her face tired. She slowly walks over to the silverskin and hugs onto her.

“Tiff, make me a sandwich will you.” June falls asleep in the girls arms.

“Damnit June!” May looks back at June and the girl.

I walk out the decimated back door. As I come out, the hoard of unforgiven stand before me. I walk through them. The sea of unforgiven split in half, I walk past them.

My mother was a sculptor, she always left her marble in the back yard, it was never damaged. I walk closer to a 12 foot tall block of marble, the unforgiven stand around me, watching closely. I can hear screaming, its faint yet so close. My mind is wandering as I step up to the block. This block has been with my family for longer then I was. Its almost as old as parents marriage was. Its tall bulk stand in front of me, hulking and imposing. The screaming gets louder but it feels like a dream, becoming ever harder to hear. Something inside me snaps, anger, spite, and malice cloud my mind. I pose myself to punch the block. I take my swing, my fist inching ever closer as I scream in rage. My fists connects with the block, smashing the top of it, cracking it. A silence crawls over the back yard, almost as if time has stopped. We all stand there, frozen in time and space.

Then, I break. My fist pummeling the marble, pieces of it flying everywhere. All my anger, all my pain, all my hate, all my love, and my addiction, barred into my fists. My fist fly, punch after punch, blood and marble flying in the air. I lean my head back and smash it into the hulking mass.

I stand there, face and hands bloody. The marble is cracked from the middle to the top, a gaping crater in the mass of marble. May, runs over to me, and grabs me. She shakes me violently and screams, but I cant hear her. Light is fading and my scenery starts to blur. Everything slowly goes black.
