• The young woman backed into the wall, the three thugs closing in. She was afraid, simply afraid.
"Have nothing to fear", said one thug, "we want your valuables not your life."
The poor woman was petrified, she could do nothing but sniffle. The gang in front of her was starting to lose patience.
"Hurry up!" A rather rat like gang member said grabbing her arm.
    "HELP!" she screamed.
"NEVER FEAR!" An answering call pierced the air. "TOBY'S HERE!" Suddenly, fireworks lit the alley. All eyes looked towards the street.
There, a plush like figure appeared, three feet tall, with a pumpkin head!
    "What the hell?"
"You better run now, Toby's on the scene!"
"Look kid", one thug said, stutting over to the pumkin-headed visitor, "this is no place to play hero, you should get-to-going before you get hurt."
"Face my rath!" Toby shouted, jumping for the crook. Only to get stopped by the guy's foot.
"Jeez, little spaz." Toby flailed around as the foot on his face stopped him from getting closer to his target. "Give it up" the thug laughed. Toby immediatly stilled."Now why don't you-" CHOMP! "AUUUGGGHH!" The thug yelped as the pumpkin-headed boy bit down on the guy's ankle. "GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!" he screamed, trying to kick the plus sized plush doll off his leg.
"Hold still" Another gang member swung a lead pipe, busting open the pumkin head open. "Got i- wahhh!" he exclaimed as smoke and confetti exploded into the alley.
    "Hahahahahahaha!" The squeeky voice laughed.
    "Where'd he go?"
"Look behind you!" Bonk! "TOO LATE!" Toby laughed, holding a pico hammer, watching the thug clutch his head in pain. But then Toby was grabbed from behind!
"Gotcha, you little snot!" Toby struggeled.
    "Let me go!"
"Not a chance!" The thug growled. "Now your going to get it!" Toby kicked and flailed, but no no avail.
"Let go or you'll be REAALL sorry!" Toby warned. The thug only grunted in response. "Fine. BOSS! HELP! BOSS!"
"Haha! Boss?" The guy sneered. "Oooh I'm so scared who exactly is your boss?"
"Into trouble again, Toby?" They looked again towards the street, a dark silhouette of a tall, teenaged kid loomed in.
    "Boss!" Toby exclaimed.
"This is your boss?" They chuckled. One thug got up close to the dark figure. "What's he going to do to all of us?"
"If you don't watch your mouth, he's going to paint this whole alley red with you!"
"Oooooooooh, so scary." The thug taunted. "Well, lets see him in action, go on kid, your best shot." The dark haired kid smirked.
    "My best shot?"
"Yeah, 'nless you can't do i- aaauuuugh!" Before he knew it he was flying towards the other side of the alley. "Ooohhhh-" In quicker than anyone could see, the shadow-like figure picked him right back up and slammed him into the nearest thug. They peeled themselves off the ground, they found themselves staring intoc cold, dark, yellow colored eyes.
"Lets get out of here!" The two cowardly thugs fled the scene as fast as their feet could carry them. The inky, black creature looked upon it's last opponent. It's shivering, cowarding opponent, who was still holding the pumpkin-headed kid off the ground.
"So boss? Let him have it!" Toby cheered. Yellow eyes landed on the woman, wide eyed, back pressed against the wall.
    "No..." he said simply.
    "Whaaa, why not?" Toby pouted.
"I'm tired, I wish to go back to sleep"
    "BoOOOSSS!"
"Besides", he yawned, "I think we have to make a quick exit anyways." He smirked.
"Oooohh, I Got ya now boss!" Toby winked. Toby sucked in a large amount of air and started swelling up.
    "What?" The thug shouted.
Toby swelled, and swelled, and then. BOOM!
It was shock and awe. Bright light, big bang.

The woman sat in the chair, staring at the shiny, metallic table in front of her. The detective walked in, carrying some file folders.
"You were mugged by these people?" he asked, flashing three pictures.
    "Yes..." The detective nodded.
"They seem to tell quite the story" he said, "especially this one." He pointed. "They even sent him to a mental institution."
    "..."
"Look, I've been looking for this vigilante, for a long while now." He said. "Even though it may seem justified, it's still a crime." She was still staring holes into the table. "If there is anything you can tell us, anything at all." There was a long pause.
"I saw him." She whispered. "Before the light blinded me I saw him .Not his face, but he was wearing dark cloths, dark hair, and..."
    "Yes?" The detective asked.
"Wings, black torn wings. They looked like they were stitched back together. I thought he was an angel. A fallen angel..." She said nothing more.

Wings? This is a new development.
