• What I think or what I say,
Maybe shine some light one day.
Because I don't care what goes through,
All I know is that I don't belong to you.

    Never will I cry again.

I sat down on the grass, watching as he paced around and around, scratching his head in thought. He kept asking me about what trap I was talking about, but that's all I knew.
"All I know is that we were both tied up, with swords at our necks. End of story." I sighed for the seventh time.
"It still doesn't tell me how you know, Nereza." He mumbled, sitting down hard on the grass. He fell on his back, looking to the clouds.
"I don't know, you told me to look for my powers, and when I tried I saw that."
"Okay, so we have two guesses." He sighed. "One, you have an overreactive imagination."
    "I do not!"
"Which is why I think that for a second guess, you can see the future and the danger it holds." He closed his eyes, breathing in deeply the smell of flowers and summer.
I leaned against my hands from out behind me, tilting my head back to look at the sky. The clouds were dim and see-through, the sun shining. Birds sang and animals went about their daily routine, flowers blooming and the nearby river bubbling happily. It was one of those warm summer days where you basked in the sun trying to get a tan.
The wind blew through my long hair, sending it pressed against my face. I smiled once, taking in all around me into my skin. Letting the sun soak through my skin and hair.
I felt watched, so I opened my eyes, and looked around. He was propped up on his elbows, watching me.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
    "I'm enjoying a summer day."
    "Ah."
No word was spoken as the day went by, both of us comfortable in the silence of birdsong. They spoke to one another, as they went about their daily routines. The horses were grazing in the meadow beside us, silent and calm. The sun was just about to set when he spoke.
"What else did you find?" He asked.
"I beg your pardon?" I looked at him, who was looking to the pink and purple sky. The colors of sunset danced across the sky, making the clouds have linings of all colors.
"I meant, what other powers did you find?"
I thought back as I looked to the clouds again.
"Well... There's the vision, of course talking to animals, the five elements, and I think there's some more but they're just guesses." I shrugged.
"Guesses are sometimes better than nothing." He said. I laughed quietly.
"I think I can sense emotions."
"You're very gifted then, are you? There's the fact that you made a hundred pound rock float across that chasm, too."
    "Levitation."
"Mhmm." He nodded. He got to his feet. "I'll go find some firewood for the fire." He brushed off his pants.
"Try to the south, ten paces into the forest." I got to my feet, brushed off the dirt from my skirt, and took Lunar's reins.
He gave me a puzzled look, but walked into the southern part of the forest. I took Shadow's reins too, and walked back to the camping site where the tent was still lodged. I tied them to a tree, and they just started grazing the grass again.
He came back moments later, arms full of wood.
"Here let me help you carry those." I offered, and he put a few in my arms. We walked back to the firepit we made, and put a few in. He was just about to strike a match when I said "Wait."
I stuck my finger on a piece of wood. "Fire, come to me. Light a fire to keep us warm."
A line of fire snaked down my arm and around my finger once before striking onto the wood. Kilunar took an automatic step back at the intensity of the heat.
"Remind me never to piss you off." He muttered. I spluttered with laughter.
"Th-thank you, fire." I giggled, and the fire blazed slowly on the logs. I looked through my pack and found some food for the nights' supper.
I put my hand out in front of me, closing my eyes. Picturing what I needed. Two long sticks with a pointy end, safe from splinters.
And I opened my eyes, two long sticks in my hand. With the sharpened end. I handed one to him, and he grinned.
Once the hot dogs were toasting on the fire, I sat down on the log, rolling it in the fire. He did the same in silence.
Lunar behind us neighed right into his ear, which I have no idea as to why. He jumped, his hand scraping on the log underneath as he tried to hold on.
    "Lunar!" I scolded.
Sorry, the bird scared me. she said, bending to eat grass.
    "Sure, whatever." I muttered.
"Ouch. Damnit." He was looking at his palm, and I peeked over his shoulder to see the large piece of wood stuck in it.
"Let me have a look." I asked. He handed me his hand.
I passed my finger over it once, checking the depth. "It's not too deep. Just a few inches."
I put my right index finger over it, the tip of my finger glowing a bright blue. The splinter came out smoothly and easily.
With the same magic, I healed the ginormous hole it made, feeling his eyes on me as I worked.
"Thanks." He said, examining where the hole had been. I threw the wood in the fire.
    I shrugged. "It's what I'm here for."
He rolled his eyes. "Not true."
    "Then elighten me." I challenged.
"Well... there's the thing for saving the world. There's finding who you really are, and being my twin. That good enough?"
    I thought a moment.
"Mm... yeah pretty much." And we burst out laughing.

Later around twilight, I yawned one huge yanw and stretched.
"I'm off to bed. Night." I said sleepily, walking into the tent. I curled up into my sleeping bag and was out in seconds.

(Kilunar's P.O.V. (alot liked this, so I'll try to put it in every chapter))

I watched her as she walked into the tent and out of sight. Holding back a sigh, I walked to Shadow and stroked his long nose.
"I don't know what to do, Shadow." I whispered.
What do you think you should do? He asked, his hot breath coming out his nose.
    "I don't know."
I looked up to the star-filled sky, my sigh pressing against my heart.
"What if... it's not like that?" I asked.
Those are chances you got to take.
A shooting star passed inthe sky, and I closed my eyes, making a wish.
I wish that she would too...
