Name - Noctis Lucis Caelum
The main character of Final Fantasy XV Versus XIII.
Heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Lucis. Son of King Regis.

Tetsuya Nomura: At the beginning of the trailer, there is a quote from Shakespeare about good and evil, about how there is no absolute good or evil. This matches quite well with the concept of FFV13, and that aspect of the game is reflected in the main character … a real ambivalence towards good and evil.
He is the last member of the royal family in the kingdom where he lives and rules. The kingdom has recently come under attack from the forces of Niflheim in order to pursue the final crystal as well as eliminating the lineage of Lucis. Noctis seems very determined to keep hold of this crystal.
Final Fantasy XV Versus XIII

FFVersusXIII, (pronounced "Vehrsas" in Latin meaning "A change of direction" and "Versus" in the English sense as well. Directed by the one and only Tetsuya Nomura with the production crew from Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VersusXIII is the PS3 sequel to FFXIII and promises to be an Action RPG.

The game features a dark, spikey haired young man with great power and is said to be a dark tragedy, unlike any other Final Fantasy.

Versus was inspired from a line in Shakespeare's Play "Hamlet, Act II, Scene II": "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." and revolves around a royal palace, where our main chacarter is a member of, in the last City that searches to control the "Crystals". The setting is unusually real-world like and the City's culture is very similar to our own, however outside the City, lies an almost medieval land where uncivilised barbarians are in a constant fight with the last City to gain control of the powerful "Crystals".

Versus' theme is all about "friendship", "bonding" and "sleep", and Nomura warns that this game will be the most dark and tragic of all Final Fantasy's and jokes that you will still be crying over it a week after completing the game! However it is not intended to be "a tragedy for tragedy's sake" and certainly does not wish for people to finish it and regret ever playing it, it's simply the only way the story could be told, he says.
