- Title: I'll always be with you...
- Artist: TamIsForHugging
- Description: For my 9th birthday, my mom brought home a little puppy named Pandora. 14 years later, she's still the best birthday present I've ever gotten. Pandora was kind, sweet, gentle, and always knew when I needed her. A few weeks ago we lost her - she went to sleep and her heart stopped. She was my best friend, and I miss her every day. Still, she lives on in my memories - I know that even if I can't be with her anymore, she'll always be with me...

- I think that's so sweet that dedicated an entry just to her. In 2006, my family lost our German Shepherd who had been with us since my parent's divorce, and later that year, I lost my terrier mix who was the first ever dog I was able to call my own. On both occasions, I read the Rainbow Bridge, a wonderful poem about the death of pets. http://www.rainbowbridge.com/poem.htm

- It really is a beautiful story and I know how you feel as well. I had a black lab named Xena. She was one of he few beings on this earth I could tell anything no matter what. In '07 she started getting really sick. We kept her as comfortable as possible, but non of my family could bring ourselves to put her down. In October my dad took her out to a family friends place and put her out of her misery, then buried her under a tree on her favorite blanket, Losing a friend like that hurts.
