- Description: The Visigoths were one of two main branches of the Goths, the other being the Ostrogoths. A Visigoth army under Alaric I eventually moved into Italy and famously sacked Rome in 410. Being of pagan religion, they were famous for having shamans who adorned themselves to look like great beasts. Whipping a horde of barbarians into a berserker frenzy and creating an unstoppable force of blood and blade that would eventually crush the known world.
